"Well someone's nosy." Ben teased as he slid into the seat next to Leane. "And I think we both know who took me so long." He winked playfully.
Leane laughed as she gently poked Ben's shoulder, "Way to tell me you were interested in my best friend, by the way. But I'm glad you are, she really has a thing for you. Just don't break her heart or I'll have to kill you," she teased with a wink as class began.
Ben rolled his eyes playfully as he listened to the teacher drone on about various math problems. Sighing in relief when the bell rang, Ben gave Leane a small smile in goodbye before hurrying out the door.
~~~ Matthew made way to his locker after the end of second period, putting his books away before going to the courtyard to sit at their usual tree. |
Passing by Matt on her way inside, Jenny nodded a hello with a smile before heading of to her locker to exchange her art supplies for her Math book.
- Grabbing her art supplies, Leane headed off to the Courtyard to meet Matt. Spotting him under the tree, Leane smiled and jogged over to him. Setting her supplies down on the ground, Leane sat beside Matt and put her arms around his waist after placing a tender kiss upon his lips, "Hey there gorgeous, how was Graphics?" |
"So much fun." Matthew sighed. It had been a review day. "This however is much more entertaining." Matthew smiled as he wrapped his arms around Leane's shoulders and rested his chin on the top of her head. "What are you going to draw today, love?" Matthew asked as he loosened his grip slightly but still held her against him.
Leane smiled as she rested her head back against his arm and looked up at him, "Whatever you wish. I'm sick of drawing trees, so choose something for me."
"Alright then." Matthew laughed as he looked around the courtyard. "How about that bench with the two people?" He asked as he gestured to the bench across the courtyard where two students were talking quietly to each other and holding hands.
Leane nodded as he shifted so that she was facing them, causing her to shift so that his arm was draping loosely across her collar bone as she leaned back against his side, "I'll give it a try. I'm not used to drawing people, not like you anyway," she teased with a smile before adding, "so don't make fun if they ruin the drawing, alright?"
"I'm sure you'll do fine." Matthew encouraged as he kissed the top of her head. He tried not to look at her drawing as he didn't want to make her uncomfortable but he peeked occasionally over her shoulder to the pece of paper in front of her.
After the drawing was sketched, Leane looked up at Matt with a smile, "Shaded or colored?"
"Colored." Matthew smiled before bending to give her a tender kiss. He wasn't sure if he could ever go without Leane's perfect lips. Shifting so that his cheek rested in her hair, Matthew watched her drawing and realized it was far better then he expected. He didn't know where Leane's insecurities stemmed from as she was an excellent artist.
"Chalk, colored pencil or water color pencil?" asked Leane as she put her pencil down and set out her three supplies.
"Colored pencil." Matthew smiled as he crossed his free arm over his stomach to trace the length of Leane's arm. Her skin was incredibly soft... He pondered as he looked down at Leane.
Taking his hand in her's, Leane brought it to her lips and placed a tender kiss upon it. "Dearest, if you keep that up I won't be able to focus enough to work," she teased before releasing his hands and darkening the lines with her pencil before beginning the base color of the drawing.
"I'll be good." Matthew smirked as he moved her hand away and rest his chin on her shoulder. "But its truly your own fault for being so incerbily irresistable." He teased as he watched her color the drawing.
Leane rolled her eyes playfully as she began coloring the people and teased, "Mm, that's true. I am pretty tempting. Glad you finally noticed," she added with a wink as she smiled at him before placing a light kiss on his cheek.
Matthew smiled as he ducked his head to give her a tender kiss. "Me too." He smiled against her lips befpre resting his chin back on her shoulder.
Finishing the base coat of the drawing, Leane went back and started slowly shading the background before focusing in on the people and bench.
"It looks great." Matthew smiled against her ear. "I don't know how you could think that you're not a good artist with drawings like that." Matthew teased.
Finishing the background Leane rolled her eyes before focusing in on the skin of the couple, "You jest far too much, dearest. I'm not all that great, really.. You're far more talented than I am. The only thing I'm good at is coloring and shading, which hardly calls for praise."
"I only sketch the people I like." Matthew laughed. "I've been doing it for years. As creepy as that is." Matthew blushed. "But you draw very well, I don't know how you could think otherwise."
"I don't think it's creepy at all," Leane smiled a she placed a light kiss on his cheek, "But fine, fine, you win. My art isn't too shabby," she added with a laugh, "But it's still not all that great."
"Well I think it is." Matthew disagreed before placing a kiss on the side of Leane's neck. "Hm, perhaps your friends are right." Matthew said. "Maybe we do kiss an awful lot." He laughed before placing another tender kiss in the crook of her neck.
Scooching out of his embrace, continuing the shading of the clothing as she moved just out of his reach, Leane teased with a grin on her lips, "Well if you're complaining..... we can always limit our contact and not kiss so much. But that's completely up to you dearest. I suppose I'll just have to learn to live without your kisses. Though I do forewarn you, if I go insane, it's all your fault."
"Hey, now." Matthew laughed as he wrapped his arms tighter around Leane's waist to bring her back to him. "Who ever said I didn't enjoy kissing you?" Matthew asked as he placed a tender kiss on her lips.
