Blushing from his kiss, over joyed that he liked her so much, Jenny couldn't keep a smile from her lips as she snuggled close against his side, her arms wrapping around his waist as she rested her head in the crook of his arm.

Leane smiled as she wrapped her arms around his waist and buried her face in the crook of his neck. "Matt, I'll be fine. It looks worse than it is, I promise," she whispered softly against his skin, "Once I get a couple ibuprofen into me to get the swelling down, I'll just have a slight bruise that shouldn't be there more than a few days." 'I hope,' she added in her thoughts as she placed light, gentle kisses upon his neck. Leaning back, Leane asked softly, "Do you think your parents would kill you if I stayed the night tonight? I don't want Josh seeing me like this, nor do I want Jenny or Jo's parents to see it.. They'll tell my father about it... I just.. I don't want Josh seeing it until it's less swollen, you know? That way I can lie about what happened to keep him from killing Kurt.."

"Oh my God." Ben whispered quietly as he glanced up at the path ahead of them to see a very familiar figure walking towards them with an expression mixed of nerves and hurt. "Maybe we should walk the other way?" Ben suggested as he turned with Jenny and began to walk away, quicker then before.

"Ben?" Amber asked as she ran to them and stepped in front of the couple. "Ben." She said again, her voice softer as she looked over at Jenny and became overwhelmed with jealous and sadness. She'd been hoping to see them alone.

"What are you doing here, Amber?" Ben asked quickly, keeping Jenny close to his side as he felt guilt take over. He knew that she'd be upset about seeing Amber and the possibility of her leaving was clouding all of thoughts.

"That's fine, Lee." Matthew said, feeling anger rage in his stomach as he looked over Leane's cheek and remember just who had put it there. "You should call Josh though. We don't need him killing me because you didn't tell him where you were." He laughed as he handed her the phone from the small end stand.

Jenny crossed her arms and scowled at the girl before her, her good mood instantly gone as she remembered Ben's story of how this girl before them hurt him terribly. "What do you want," Jenny said bitterly as she stepped forward, almost protectively, in front of Ben. The sight was a rather funny one, if you were a bystander. A blonde cheerleader who was small in build 'protecting' a boy who could easily take whoever messed with the couple, not to mention the fact that the girl doing the 'protecting' looked as if she were a 3 year old who didn't get the toy she wanted in the store due to her childish features upon her face.

Leane laughed as she took the phone, "You're probably right." Dialing Kalli's number in her phone, Leane spoke softly, "Hey Kal, Josh there? Okay, thanks. I'll see you then, bye," said Leane as she hung up the phone. Turing it back on, she dialed Josh's cellphone. After a few rings, Josh answered in a confused tone, "Hello?"

"Hey Josh, it's me. I'm going to stay over at Matt's tonight, is that okay?"

"Lee.."

"Don't worry, it's not because of that. I just.. I need to tonight, okay? Please?"

"Alright.. Just be careful, okay?"

"I will. Love you."

"Love you too, bye."

"Bye," said Leane as she hung up the phone and handed it back to Matt, "All set. Now all I have to do is run home for a change of clothes. What's today anyway?" Leane asked as she wrapped her arms around Matt's neck to place a tender kiss upon his lips.

"Jenny." Ben said softly as he wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her back to her side, giving her temple a small kiss, when he saw Amber's hurt expression. "Its alright, love." He assured her, ignoring Amber's cringe at the word 'love'.

"I was just in town." Amber answered Jenny shyly. "I wanted to say hello. Its been a while. I came here to calm my nerves." She said, her fingernails digging into her skin as she crossed her arms and clutched to her elbows. "I didn't mean to interrupt anything." She said before looking once at Ben and turning on her heel to take off before Ben could see the tears that were streaming down her face.

Sighing, Ben placed his forehead against Jenny's shoulder. "I'm sorry about that." He said gently, giving her neck a soft kiss. "There's no need to be upset, Jenny." He reminded her as he wrapped his arms around her in a gentle hug.

"I thought you would know." Matthew laughed as he set the phone aside and leaned back in the couch. "You're the one who pays attention in school. I just doodle like a creep in the back row." He winked.

"There is a need to be upset," said Jenny miserably, "That wretch thinks she can do what she did and then come back after awhile and pick up where things left off. She still likes you and most likely hoped to get back with you now that she's over her little mood. I don't want to lose you," Jenny admitted shyly as she burried her face in Ben's chest.

"Mm, but you're a gorgeous creep who's very talented," she said with a smile as she placed a long, tender kiss upon his lips. "But no, I don't know the day. My days got messed up when we skipped," she whispered softly against his lips between kisses, "Not that I mind, of course."

"Jenny." Ben chided as he fought to keep his voice even as she attack Amber even though it was his fault for not sharing the whole story. "You're not going to lose me." Ben said as he wrapped his arms around Jenny's waist and kissed her hair. "But please, Jenny. Please don't say mean things about Amber. It was both of our faults, not just her. Neither of us were ready and we both thought we were. The break up was mutual." He explained carefully.

"I wasn't the only one suggesting we skip." Matthew teased between kisses as he brought Leane closer to him, referring to the night they'd made love for the first time.

"Go talk to her then, if that's what you want, I'll meet you at the lake," Jenny said miserably before placing a kiss upon his cheek and heading off back to the lake to sit on the banks and wait for the sun to set.

"Mm, very true. I was kind of the culprit, wasn't I. Though really, it really was your fault for tempting me with that little present in your backpack," Leane teased between kisses as she sat on Matt's lap, a knee on each side of his hip.

"Jenny." Ben sighed as he took off after her and sat beside her on the banks. "I don't want to talk to Amber." He said, nervously taking Jenny's hand in his own. "Just because she's ready to talk to me doesn't mean I am. I was just taken by surprise." He said, not knowing how to make Jenny happy with him again.

Matthew felt his cheeks burn a brilliant red as he remembered the condoms in his bag. "That wasn't exactly how I wanted you to find out." Matthew laughed nervously between kisses. "I was still trying to find out a way to be smooth about it." He smiled as he placed his hands on Leane's hips and caressed her curves gently. "So much for that." He whispered as he placed kisses against Leane's neck.

Jenny simply nodded as she took her hand out of his and wrapped her arms around her knees after pulling them close to her. However, she did rest her head upon Ben's shoulder as a silent way of showing she wasn't upset with him. Well, not completely anyway.

Arching her neck towards his lips, Leane teased with a smile upon her lips, "If I had to wait for you to find a smooth way of telling me you wanted to make love to me, then I'd still be waiting for our first time to come six weeks from now. Face it, Matt, we're not ones to be smooth and suave. We blurt things out without thinking and we find out things in rather embarrassing ways. It's our nature, and I wouldn't change it for the world," she added with a smile as she placed a tender kiss upon his neck, just below his ear.

"I'm sorry she came here." Ben sighed as he rested his head on top of Jenny's just as the sun began to set. "The last thing I want is for you to be upset." He said quietly as the sky became red from the sunset.

Matthew felt a ripple of desire shoot down his spine under Leane's kisses and slipped his hand beneath her shirt to caress her smooth skin. "As long as I can be with you, I can't say I have any regrets about how horribly the telling part went." Matthew smiled before bringing Leane's lips back to his and wrapping his arm around to Leane's back to press her closer against him.

"I'm fine," said Jenny softly, "Really.. It's just you I'm worried about," Jenny said with a sigh as she wrapped her arms around Ben's waist and snuggled closer to him as the last rays of light disappeared below the horizon.

Leane eagerly returned his kisses as she molded her body to his. "As long as you don't regret anything, then I guess skipping school every so often isn't such a bad thing, is it," she teased between kisses. "I love you Matt," she murmured softly against lips between soft, gentle kisses.

"Don't worry about me." Ben smiled as he kissed Jenny's neck tenderly. "As long as I have you I'm perfectly happy." He assured her before burying his face in her blond hair.

"I love you too, Lee." Matthew smiled between kisses as he twirled one of his hands into her hair and the other pressed against her lower back. "So much." He said as he cupped her cheek lightly, forgetting about Kurt earlier.

Sighing, Jenny placed a long, tender trail of kisses along his neck and across his jaw as she made her way to his lips for a gentle kiss. "You're sure I'm all you want? I'm not pretty like she is.." added Jenny softly as she looked down at her lap."

"We should probably stop before things get too hard and I won't be able to stay over," Leane whispered softly against his lips between kisses as she slipped from his lap to sit beside him. "Well, if I did it wouldn't be in the guest bedroom or on the couch, I mean," Leane admitted with a blush as she stood up and pulled on her shoes. "I'll be back in a bit, I'd better go get pajamas and clothes for tomorrow. And I promise, no nightgowns like before," Leane added with a laugh as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips.

"Is that what that why you're upset?" Ben asked, confused, as he held Jenny closer. "You think that I don't want you anymore because Amber is back?" He asked, pressing a kiss on Jenny's temple. "I love you, Jenny. I wasn't lying when I told you that." He promised.

"I love you." Matthew smiled against her lips before tucking a strand of hair out of her face. "I'll get a bed ready for you." He said as he led Leane up the stairs before giving her another kiss and heading into a guest bedroom to make a bed, unsure of why she wouldn't want to sleep in his own room.

Jenny blushed, "I-I know you love me, and I believe that you do, honest. It's just.. you love Amber so much more than you could ever love me.. I.. I just thought.. now that she's back and interested in trying things once again.. you'd want to be with her.."

Leane sighed as she leaned against the door frame and looked at Matt, knowing something was on his mind that he wasn't saying. She could tell by the smile he gave her, something was wrong. "Matt, what's wrong.."

"I don't love Amber." Ben sighed. "I loved Amber once, or at the very least I thought I did. But the point is I'm over Amber. I only want to be with you." Ben explained carefully.

Matthew blushed as he finished making the bed and walked over to Leane. "Nothing." He murmured quietly as he took her hand in his. "I just thought, I mean. I assumed you'd be sleeping in my room but if you'd rather not then I understand." He said quickly, his face a brilliant red as he thought over just why she'd want to stay away from him and, particularly, his bed. Matthew felt himself slouch as he realized that Leane must regret what they'd done and was trying to tell him that she didn't want it to happen again.

"I'm sorry," Jenny whispered as she wrapped her arms around his neck and placed a long, tender kiss upon his lips, "I'm so very very sorry."

Burying her face in his shoulder, Jenny sighed, "I just.. I was afraid that her coming back... would make you second guess your feelings for me and find out that they weren't what you thought and you were going to leave.. Guess it was a foolish fear.. huh.."

"If I'd rather not.. what do yo- Ohh..." Leane's eyes grew wide after she thought about his statement for a moment. "Matt, Matt, listen to me! That's not what I mean!" Caressing his cheek with her palm, Leane leaned against him as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips. "Please, please don't think that I never want to make love to you.. It's just.. we have school tomorrow... and you hate it when we skip.. If I slept in the same bed as you, I'd be far too tempted to make love to you again, and then you'd be angry with me because we'd either be late for school or we'd skip entirely all together.. I just.. I don't want you angry with me because of my lack of self control," she explained softly, worry and embarrassment coating her voice. She didn't want Matt to get the wrong idea so she knew she had to tell him the truth as to why she felt she couldn't stay in his room, but it was also embarrassing to tell him that she had no self control in regards to him when he so very obviously had self control when it came to her. In her eyes, she seemed like a slut, and she didn't want Matt to think that of her.

"You don't need to apologize, Jenny." Ben assured her as he pressed a kiss against her forehead. "If the situation was reversed and an ex-girlfriend of your past came back then I'd be worried to." He winked, laughing quietly into her hair.

"Lee." Matthew sighed, pulling her to him. "We can sleep in the same bed without doing anything." He promised. "I like having you near me when I sleep." He admitted quietly.

Placing a tender kiss upon his lips, Jenny chuckled, "Don't worry. None of them can compare to you, so I think you're safe," she added with a wink before placing a long, tender kiss upon his lips. Snuggling closer, a small shiver went down Jenny's spine as a small breeze shot by her.

Leane smiled as she placed a long, tender kiss upon his lips. "You do?" she asked softly as she looked up at him, a giddy grin spreading across her lips. "I guess I can't say no to that," she added with a laugh as she placed a long, tender kiss upon his lips. "I'd better get going if I want to make it home before Josh. He'd murder me for not telling him what happened," she said softly. "I'll see you in a bit, okay?" she added as the smile returned to her lips and she placed another kiss upon Matt's lips, "I love you."

Ben smiled warmly as he wrapped his arms tighter around Jenny. "Are you cold, love?" He asked though he didn't wait for an answer before taking off his jacket and wrapped it around Jenny's shoulders. "Do you want to go somewhere warmer?" He offered.

"Love you too, Lee." He smiled as he placed a last kiss on Leane's lips before heading off to his own room to make it presentable for company.

Slipping on his jacket, Jenny snuggled closer to Ben, loving the smell of his cologne on the jacket and the warmth it brought to her cold arms. "We can go wherever you wish," said Jenny softly, "Want to catch a movie or rent one?"

Leane smiled as she headed outside and took out her cellphone. Seeing that her latest text message said it was Friday, Leane nearly hit herself in the head for forgetting the day. Of course it was Friday! She had practice that night. Laughing, Leane replied to the text before starting her car and heading home for a quick change of clothes. Careful to avoid everyone in the house, Leane made her way to her bedroom and packed make up to wear, as well as an outfit for, the next day and a shirt Matt left at her house, along with a pair of shorts, for bed.

Heading back to her car with her bag over her shoulder, Leane hopped into her car and headed back to Matt's, just barely missing Josh coming home with Kalli.

"We can rent one." Ben offered as he stood up and brought Jenny with him, keeping the jacket around her shoulders. "There's nothing good in theaters yet." He shrugged as he led Jenny back to her car.

Matthew stretched out on his couch and flipped through the channels on the tv, unsurprised to see there was nothing on to distract himself with until Leane got back. Settling on an old SciFi movie, Matthew watched as a killer hunted down campers who had gone to far into the woods and gotten lost.

Zipping up his jacket, Jenny wrapped her arms around Ben's waist and smiled up at him, "True. Any idea on what we should rent? I'm in the mood for an old movie.. What about you? And thank you," she added with a blush as she placed a tender kiss upon his cheek, "Are you sure you aren't cold?"

Gathering her bags and purse, Leane locked her doors and headed inside. Making her way to Matt's bedroom. Leane took off her jacket and put her things by the door as she took off her shoes. "It's freezing outside!" Leane laughed as she hurried over to Matt and snuggled close to him, her cold nose brushing against his neck as her hands slid up the hem of his shirt and rested in his back to get warm. "Anything good on?" she asked as she placed a tender kiss upon his neck.

Matthew shivered at Leane's cold touch before turning the tv onto a radio station. "Just a scary movie." He explained before dropping the remote and wrapping his arms around Leane. "I love you." He murmured against her lips before taking a blanket from the back o fthe couch and covering them both. "Any better?" He asked as he held her close.

Leane nodded as she placed a tender kiss upon his lips, her hands sliding up a few inches to warmer patches of skin as she snuggled closer to him, "Much better. I think winter's coming fast this year, it's absolutely freezing out. I'm surprised I didn't freeze," Leane added with a laugh. "Would you still love me if I were a human popsicle?"
