Scarlett was sitting in the kitchen when Ben's mother walked in wearing her usual perfume, but today it smelled horrible! She suddenly felt the urge to throw up and ran to the bathroom. She puked multiple times and cursed when she was finished, getting up from the bathroom floor and flushing the puke down. She grimaced and made her way over to the sink. She washed her face and brushed her teeth multiple times, then used mouth wash before returning to the kitchen. She sat down in her chair and put her hand on her forehead. She had a killed headache and felt so awful that she didn't want to go to work today, but she already skipped work yesterday and needed to make it up.

Ma frowned when she saw Scarlett run out of the room. When she came back she walked over and put a head on her forehad, "you look horrible, are you sick or something?" she aske das she looked at Scarlett. After a month she was find with scarlett staying here and now got worried about her. Benjamin was out in the feilds checking them over so he wouldnt' be back for a half a hour, hopefuly what ever was the matter wasn't something serious.

"Fine.. Just got the flu or something.." She mumbled, massaging her forehead. "And I have a pretty bad headache." She said, feeling the urge to barf again with Ma so close, and her perfume smell so strong. She coughed a little in hopes to get Ma to step back. She hoped Ben would come back soon so she could hurry up and get to work.

Ma quickly backed away when she coughed and shook her head, "your deffinatly not going to work today." she said and headed to the bathroom to grab some medicine. Benjamin came into the room and smield when he saw Scarlett but got worried when he saw her face. "is everything okay?" he asked as he wrapped a arm around her and pulled her close to him.

"I'm fine.. i've just been feeling very nauseous lately.." She said, leaning her head on his shoulder. She then got up and took his hand. "I'm going to go to my room okay?" She said, leaning over and kissing his forehead. Since they alternated from her room to his room when sleeping she figured she might as well go and rest in her room so Ma wouldn't get upset that she'd been staying in Ben's room. She started to head back towards her room when she peaked in at Ben's mother. "Oh, I'm fine.. I don't need medicine. I don't think it will help much. I took some yesterday but i've still been puking as soon as I wake up.." She muttered, turning and heading into her room. She left the door open as she went over to her bed and sat down.

Benjamin nodded and kissed her head gently. He then watched her go and headed over to get some water to drink. He wondered what was going on with her. As he drink he realized something and nearly spit his water out. He then ran down the hall after scarlett and when he got to her room he stopped and closed the door. He then wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, "have you checked a test or anything?" he asked softly. Ma nodded when she heard Scarlett and her mind was hard at work as she headed down the hall. The only time she ahd ever gotten sick in the morning was when she was with Benjamin. She stopped in her tacks at the thought and wondered if it was true. She then saw Benjamin run by and wondered if everything was okay.

"No, I haven't had the time to go and get one.." She said, hugging him back. "Could you maybe go and pick one up for me ? Or I could go with you.. I'm not that sick. It's just this stupid headache that's bothering me." She said, kissing the side of his face since she didn't want to kiss his lips after puking. She laid down and put her hand on her stomach, trailing her hand down to the lower part of her stomach and feeling a small raise compared to the rest of her flat stomach. "Ben I think you should go get that test.." She said, taking his hand and putting it on the bump. "But don't tell your mother! I'm sure she'd be mad at me.."

Benjamin smiled as he held her close and felt her lips against his face. He then smiled as she layed down and thought that she looked amazing. When he heard her and then felt the bump he couldn't help but smile. "I wont tell her yet, but she will find out sooner or later." he said and then pulled her into his lap and held her close to him. "and I am sure she wont be mad at you." he whispered and kissed her cheek gently. "now then, lets go get that test. If it is negative then your free to go to work, but if it is positive, your staying here." he said as he looked at her.

"But I have to work even if it is positive, we'll have to save up for a baby.. we can't even afford a crib at the moment, or clothes.." She sighed. She got up and slid on her light colored skinny jeans over her black shorts and then putput on a simple black tee shirt over her tank top she had been wearing. "There, I'm ready." She said, not feeling up to prettying herself today. She went over to Ben and took his hand.

Benjamin smiled as he held her hand and kept her close to him. "well I forgotto tell you that I got a second job. So we have some more money coming in and we should be able to buy a crib now. But we can also use the same crib that my ma used for me. " he said as he looked at her and then lead her outside. Ma watched hem as they left and knew something was up with them. She would ask later. She took a look at Scarlett and thought that she looked different, but she couldn't put how she looked different.

"Okay, that's fine.. and of course we'll have to move into the same room together. so would you mind if I kept my stuff in your room for now on? And then maybe we could keep the crib in our room until the babies older.. then we could put it in my room and make it theirs. Unless your mother kicks us out." She smirked. "I really hope she doesn't since we couldn't afford an apartment even if we tried.." She said, running her hand through her hair and then getting on the back of the motorcycle.

Benjamin kissed her head gently, "dont worry, I dought that ma will kick us out. She may be tough but she is actually very loving." he said to her softly and then got on the bike with her. He then started up the bike and headed out with her. "and we will have to tell her soon. I think she is already suspicious about all of this so we will ahve to tell her." he said as he drove and smiled as he thought of tonight, "and tonight I am cooking you dinner." he said happily.

"Fine, you can cook me dinner if you like." She smiled, having no problem in the though of being waited on. "And we'll tell her once we know for sure." She said, looking over his shoulder to see that they were getting closer to the grocery store. She wrapped her arms around his chest to stay onto the bike.

Benjamin nodded when he heard her, "good, I am pretty sure that she will be pissed if we dont." he said as he drove. He then pulled up at the grocery store and parked. "now then lets go see." he said as he stood up and then pulled her into his arms. He then kissed her cheek and smiled at her lovingly.

Scarlett stood up and took his hand. She led him into the store and to the isle full of pregnancy tests. She picked two and then led him to the check out. She bought them and then slipped them into a grocery bag. "Ready to go back home?" She asked, raising an eyebrow at him. "I'll take the tests while you make dinner.." She said, kissing the side of his face.

Benjamin smiled as he walked with her into hte store and watched her take the test. He then folloed her out and nodded as he smiled at her, "I am always ready." he said and then kissed her cheek gently. He then smiled and knew exactly what he was going to make and do. He had talked to his mother about this and after a little while she warmed to it. NOw he just had to put hte plan into action. He lead her out to his bike and smield as he got on. "now then what would you like to eat tonight?" he asked and would make her anything.

"Hmm.. I've been craving barbeque chicken.. and corn?" She asked, sitting on the back of the motorcycle to ready herself to go. She noticed him smile and smirked. "What are you smiling about?" She asked, patting his seat.

Benjamin nodded and smiled when she got on, "then I will make barbeque chicken with corn ont he side for you." he said and then moved out once he was sure there grocerys wouldn't get left behind. He then laughed, "oh for no reason, I am just excited about being a father." he said as he drove and coudln't wait for tonight.

"If you are one. You never know, I could just be sick." She said, kissing the side of his face. "So don't get your hopes up. " She said, looking around at the scenary to see if they were getting close to home.

Benjamin smiled and continued to drive, "and if you are sick I am going to make you stay home for the next few days." he said as he drove. He still had his hopes up and couldn't wait for tonight ot see.

When they arrived home Scarlett got off the motorcycle and went inside quickly. She went into the bathroom and took both the tests, then ran a timer so that she could wait five minutes. She hummed softly in hopes that the time would go by faster and looked at herself in the mirror. "There goes my dancing career if I could ever dance on my damn ankle again.. dansuers aren't supposed to have children until their thirties, because then they've have a good ten years at the top." She sighed. "Well if I am pregnant I have many names for a baby.." She mumbled, then looked up quickly when the timer went off. She went over to the test and smiled at both their responses. "Oh Ben," She called, throwing the tests away and then leaving the bathroom. |
Benjamin smield as he watched her go and heades straight to the kitchen. He got started on the chicken right away and was making some fresh corn. He had just finished setting the table and pulling out the food when he heard Scarlett and smiled. He walked over to her and smiled, "what is it? what did you find out?" he asked as he wrapped a arm around her and pulled her close to him. He couldn't hear what she found out and kissed her forhead gently.

She kissed him passionately on the lips and leaned close to his ear. "Positive." She whispered, leaning her head back and smiling. "Aren't you excited?" She said, hugging him and kissing him again. She then looked back to the table. "Wow.. that looks good." She said, heading over to the table. "And now I have an excuse for having a lot of food!" She laughed. "And i'll be getting fat for a good reason.." She said, sitting down.

Benjamin couldn't help but smile when he heard her and pulled her close to him. "I am more then excited." he said and kissed her back. He then sit down next to her and smiled, "I hope you like it, you can eat as much of it as you like." He said and knew that he woul dhave to ask her soon. He placed his hand on his pocket and wondered when he should ask her. He then decided to wait and then started to put food on there plates, "how about after this we watch a movie." he said as he smiled at her.

"Sure, what movie?" She asked, putting some food on her plate and starting to eat. She hoped that Ben's mother wouldn't come into the kitchen anytime soon, for then they'd have to tell her why they were celebrating. She got up and poured herself a glass of sweet tea. "Do you want anything Ben?" She asked, waiting by the fridge to see what drink he wanted.
