CultureShox (the band) is stopping in a large city for a concert as well as a much needed break. Enter school outcast that is absolutely in love with the band and can't wait to see them live. The concert goes well and ends. Now school outcast is hanging around after the show in hopes to meet the band seeing as he paid for the special tickets that also got him the backstage pass.

Hello, my official name is Keiran I don't think I have any other names. But you can call me Key. I am 20 years old.
I would give you a description of what I look like, but it would be much easier to show you myself.

I'm a thief. . . and a kitchen boy. I have always wanted to have my own farm. I want a forest where I can hunt and a small garden for vegetables. I am really a loud person, but i love to talk about all kinds of things: books, plays, politics. I am a man of few words but I always mean what I say. I think I'm a pretty good person once you get to know me but in this world everyone has to decide what they think for themselves so I can only hope people find me as nice as I imagine I am. Let me see, is there anything else you should know about me? Oh yeah, I'm horrified of spiders.

Keiran was absolutely thrilled when he found out that CultureShox was playing live in the next town over. He worked long hours at the restaurant to cover the cost of the backstage tickets he bought. When he finally arrived at the concert Keiran was in awe, it was the most amazing thing he'd ever seen. That and it was probably the most social interaction he would get all year. Keiran was a bit of a loner at the school he went too. He just went to class then went to work. School and Work and more School and then, CultureShox! Keiran's favorite band since high school. And so close too. It was definitely worth the extra effort to earn enough to come. Keiran let out a massive fangirl scream as Seth walked onto the stage. Keiran had had a crush on him for years before even hearing about CultureShox. After seeing Seth in a magazine Keiran adored him and followed all of his bands and projects from then on. The most recent and by far the best was CultureShox and Keiran was in heaven being at this concert. When the show was over and Keiran could barely talk from all the screaming it was time for the best part. Going over to the security booth Keiran showed his backstage pass that he had bought himself. Keiran was going to meet Seth . . . the rest of CultureShox too, but mostly Seth.

Seth was in the backstage bathroom, washing the sweat off his face. The show was amazing, more amazing than the last and this made him proud. Thankfully, for the next week, they'd be staying here, in this city to rest and get rejuvenated before finishing up their tour and going home. Home the thought brought a smile to his face. The singer stood up straight and fixed himself to look his best, after all, they did sell a couple backstage passes. He stepped out of the bathroom and walked down the hall to the meeting room where they were having a small after party with the fans.

He entered the room where everyone, including the fan, were already gathered and having fun. Seth poured himself a glass of water and sat down on the couch. He was looking around at the fans when his eyes met a pair of green eyes. The somewhat pail skin and silver hair that fall down around them, made them that much more intriguing. He smiled at the young man.

Keiran was amazed when he walked into the after party. The members of CultureShox were spread about the room each involved in a conversation with a couple of fans. Then Seth came into the room. Keiran had to bite his tounge to stop himself from screaming in excitement. Seth was even more handsome in person than Keiran had thought. His dark hair was neatly messy and his blue eyes were brighter than they looked. Then Seth smiled. Keiran took a moment to appreciate the beauty of his smile before he realized who he was smiling at.

'Seth just smiled . . . At me,' Keiran's thoughts went crazy. 'Should I go over there or stay here or . . .' Keiran blushed and looked to the floor. Then after a moment he looked back at Seth. This was why Keiran had bought the backstage pass. No sense in wasting it just cause he was flustered. Keiran walked over to Seth and smiled shyly, "Hi there."

"Hello," his smiled continued as he spoke. His water was in his right hand and his left arm naturally fell on the back of the couch. "Why don't you come have a seat?" This boy was ten times cuter than any girl he's seen, Seth was actually taking a liking to him. He moved his arm realizing this young man might not be comfortable with it around him. "so, how long have you been a fan?"

Keiran nearly died on the spot. He was in heaven. Not only had Seth smiled at him, he had asked him to sit. Keiran was slightly disappointed when Seth moved his arm but remembered this was only a meet and greet type thing. Seth probably had no interest in him but Keiran would take whatever he could get. Sitting down next to Seth, Keiran was a little shy but amazed all the same, "I've been a fan of CultureShox since it started. I've been a fan of yours for years." Suddenly slightly embarrassed Keiran blushed.

"Really now? Years, huh?" Seth smiled and finished his water. He did his best to not let his ego explode but in the end, it got to him. "So how long exactly?" he asked, looking at his fan while holding out his cup for one of the attendants to fill it up. Again, the man was drawn into the green eyes and the perfectly framed face. He never had this feeling with anyone before. Any girl he dated was just "cute" but not beautiful enough to pull him in the way this boy was doing. He suddenly wanted to know everything about him. His perfections, his flaws. The world revolving around Seth seemed to stop and started to orbit this fan of his.

Keiran blushed as Seth asked how long he had followed him. He didn't want to seem awkward or creepy with how long he had honestly watched him. At the same time though, there was nothing wrong with being a devoted fan of someone with fabulous talent. Letting his hair fall into his face to hide the bright red now shading his cheeks Keiran answered, "Well truthfully . . . I've ummm, I've been following you and your work ever since I saw you in a magazine. It was an article on up and coming musical artists. I've followed you ever since. Though CultureShox is my favorite project of yours so far." Kerian was surprised that Seth seemed interested in him. That was the whole point of things like this, to promote the band and whatnot. Yet it still surprised him, he actually seemed interested.

Seth smiled; he was liking the young boy more and more. "Do you have a cell phone?" he asked, then took another long drink of water. The singer took the phone when it was shone to him and began adding a new contact into it. Then he hit the call button and after a minute he hung up and handed Keiran's phone back to him. Seth then took his own phone out of his pocket and saved the number of the "missed call" he had.
"What's your name?" he asked, putting the information into his phone. When he was finished, he turned to his fan, "Well, Keiran, as I'm sure you know, the band and I will be staying here for the next week. I want to hang out with you at some point. Do you know when you'll be available?"

Keiran was stunned when Seth asked for his cell phone. He was even more amazed when he added his number into it and more or less demanded to spend time with him. Keiran spelled out his name for Seth, "K-E-I-R-A-N. Ummm, I'm free most afternoons. I go to the Junior College and I've got a part time job at a little gorcery but other than that I'm open for anything." Keiran was amazed and so extremely happy. Seth had given him his phone number. AND he wanted to hang out . . . this was turning out to be the best day of Keiran's life.

"Alright. I'll give you a call tomorrow then, sound good?" he asked, putting his phone away. Seth couldn't wait to be away from his other band members as well as the press. They didn't need to know about his personal life, especially one that involves a possible relationship. He smiled at the boy before standing up. Just as he did so, the band manager announced that the meet and greet was over. "Want me to walk you out?" Seth asked, holding out his hand to help him stand up.

Keiran was so happy he could melt. He felt like closing his eyes and dissolving into the couch he sat on. The more he thought about dissolving the better it sounded, if he became the couch then he could hold Seth in his arms. As Keiran thought of holding Seth, he blushed a little and let his hair fall over his eyes again, "Call me anytime you want." Keiran blushed harder as he said it and looked over at Seth from behind his hair. Seth was standing and the the manager announced that it was time for the fans to leave. Taking Seth's hand, Keiran stood, "You can if you'd like." When they reached the door Keiran stood there for a moment, he wasn't sure how to say goodbye. Keiran let his hair fall back from his face as he looked at Seth, "Well I'll hear from you tomorrow, I suppose. I look forward to it." Deciding to be nerdy for a little moment Keiran gave a small bow and then swept out of the room and ran back to his car.

The male walked Keiran to the door, saying his goodbye and that he'll call tomorrow. He watched the boy leave in a hurry and smiled at how cute he was.

~the next day~

Seth was up at his usual time, 2 in the afternoon. He got ready for his day/ night and then picked up his phone. He found Keiran's name and pressed "talk", sitting on the couch that was provided in his hotel room. While waiting for an answer, he thought about what he wanted to do that day. Last night, Seth rented a car. He thought it would be better than taking the bus. We could go to a movie, out to dinner, and maybe a club after that, he smiled at the thought, then pulled out his wallet to make sure he had everything he needed.

Kerian was amazed as he hopped into his 1980 Pontiac Grand Am. As he drove home all Keiran could think about was Seth and his friendliness. He had given him his number. For a little while Keiran wondered if it was a fake and he was just being nice. 'Well i'll find out in the morning maybe,' he thought as he pulled into his drive.
Locking his car Keiran went inside flopped on the couch and fell fast asleep.

~*The Next Day*~

Keiran woke to his phone buzzing and rattling in his pocket. Pulling his phone out, Keiran frantically pushed at the buttons and held it to his face, "Hello? . . . hello?" Closing his phone Keiran looked at the screen and saw that it was a text not a call. Feeling stupid Keiran flipped open his phone and responded then snapped it shut and set it on the coffee table. As Keiran tried to drift back to sleep his phone went off again. Rattling even louder while on the coffee table, Keiran picked up his phone and saw 'SETH' on the screen. Eyes opening wide Keiran answered, "Hi."

Hearing his fan answer his call, Seth smiled. "Hey Keiran. How are you today?" he asked just to get the conversation going. As he spoke, he looked himself over in the mirror, fixing his hair the way he wanted it, messy but stylish. After getting an answer, he proceeded with the conversation, "So, I was thinking we could go hang out. Maybe go to a club or something. What do you think?" Seth walked into the small kitchen in his room and grabbed a can of beer, opened it and took a drink.

Keiran was stunned that Seth has actually called him. It was absolutely amazing. Never would he have thought this would actually happen, not for him anyway. Sitting up Keiran fixed his hair in the reflection on the table and answered, "I'm good. That sounds amazing. Should I meet you somewhere? Do I need money, how much?" Standing up Kerian walked to his room as Seth spoke and began to prepare for the day. He would have to look nice, especially if he was going to be seen with Seth. Ruffling through his closet Keiran finally settled on some comfortably ripped jeans and an open black button down over a gray tank. Keiran fixed his hair again in the closet mirror and then sat down on his mattress. This was surprising and marvelous , it was going to be a good day. Saying goodbye and closing his phone Keiran went into the kitchen to make a quick breakfast before he ventured out with Seth.

"I can pick you up or we can meet at the mall or something. Which ever you would like. Don't worry about money either. I've got it covered," Seth said, answering his interest's questions. Once they were done talking, Seth ended the call and got in his car.
