I wouldn't be offended if I averaged 3 stars, since I don't post often and I'm not super wordy with my posts.

On the other hand, I kind of wish there was a rating based on different things: detail/setting, post length, post frequency, interaction with other players, grammar/punctuation. And then have those averaged out... ok, now that I listed all that out, rating all those things might be a little tedious. xD

You mean like a separate rating for all those, Libra? You could do it just for kicks!

Libra, that's an amazing idea. Unfortunately I just don't have the time to go in constantly and average that amount of rating and have that many categories on each person. There's just no way. Many people don't know this about me, but I not only have a million role-plays (some on other sites), I've also got a family, including a three year old and a dog, and let me tell you, they are ALL SOOOO needy, lol. Even my husband. He's like a child. So I've got a lot of responsibility outside of Mene, and there are days that all I have time for is a quick log on to check in. Those days are rare, but they're there. If I had to log on everyday while cooking three to four meals, bath times, playground time, dishes, laundry and other housework, grocery shopping, paying bills, bank, dog washing, etc. and still reply in all my role-plays and THEN average out stars and make edits to three to four listings, I'd just die. I barely have my sanity as it is.

x.x Being called mediocre stings a bit no matter who you are to be honest. I love writing and try my best, people make mistakes and are in a rush at times . I know I am not the best, so I shall continue to write and work lol, so one day no one shall think of me as such.

We could average our the different category ratings ourselves.

It would be pointless because as the mod of the thread I'd have to check them anyway, and still be the one to do the star bit. I think what I'm doing is good enough. I hope people don't ask too much more of me or I'll end up getting burnt out and closing this thread, too. Like the last one.

I think the rating system's fine. :) I think if anyone wants to point out a certain rating for a specific user, maybe they should just let the user know themselves. I think too many ratings would get super duper confusing.

I use "horror" loosely, to try and get the point across that it's not like the cartoon made for small children where four friends run around in circles chasing a guy with a mask. It's funny that you ask that Kat, because I thought about that earlier and was thinking about adding it in the rules or something. But yes, you can definitely rate someone you haven't role-played with, as long as you're not basing your rating off a post or two. Base it off of something a little more substantial and that's fine!
