Moore rested his chin on laced fingers and nodded silently.

"I suppose you have a point. Although inevitably she is sure to come meet one or both of us, as I assume she doesn't know we figured it out. What I would suggest," Here his face took on a sly smile, "is that we act normally as we have before. But next time, it will be her who finds herself the fool. It is not so hard to turn the tables on the puppet master who was playing with fire. Well, in this case wind and water." He chuckled softly and waited for the other man's reaction to the idea.

Leander thought for a moment, and a wicked grin played at his lips. "Fortescue, I like the way you think..." He said with a chuckle. "This should be fun." He added. "With wind and water, you've practically got a storm on your hands."

"A storm indeed. Oh and you really don't have to use my family name. It's not one I'm particularly proud of." Moore coughed a few times and groaned. It was coming back; that dull ache in his body. Or maybe, he though, he wtas just noticing because he was sitting still.

"Alright then." He said with a smirk. "Lets try this whole introduction thing now that we're on slightly better terms." He said. He held out his hand to shake. "Leander D'mare, vengeance master." He said with a chuckle.

One of Moore's eyebrows raised as he listened to the man's self imposed title.

"Moore... Fortescue." He said hesitantly and lifted his arm slowly to shake the proffered hand. "Nice to meet you I suppose."

"Geez... Could ya be anymore hesitant? The way you act, you'd think I have the plague or something." He said with a smirk.

Moore laughed softly and shook his head at the other man.

"I apologize. It's a bit strange to be shaking hands with someone who tried to kill me last night. But aside from that minor detail, I'm just feeling a little under the weather at the moment..."

He rubbed the back of his head. "Hehe... Sorry about that..." He said. "I usually don't get so homocidal." It seemed Desirei brought the worst out in him.

Moore shrugged a little and continued to smile his soft smile.

"I lived. I cant say I was unaffected, but I lived. You passed out first, but I'm the one still experiencing some pain as an aftereffect."

"I could help... Chances are, the pain comes from water left in the lungs. I can route the water back to where it's supposed to be." He offered.

"God did you really do that?" Moore chuckled softly. "I have been coughing actually, but I guess I hadn't thought about water in my lungs... I just thought my muscles were stressed from your little trick." He sighed a little and nodded, accepting the the other male's offer.

He rolled his eyes. "Alright, sit still, otherwise the water could end up somewhere worse. No talking. Hell, I'd advise against breathing much until I'm done." He said as she stood and hald his hands up in front of Moore.

He began to focus and move the water. Slowly but surely the water was leaving his lungs and going back into the cells in Moore's body.

Moore crossed his legs and relaxed in a pose something like a buddhist meditation pose. He focused on slowing his breathing, and stayed absolutely still as he felt the strange tingling sensation of the water magic in his chest.

When Leander finally finished, he opened his eyes and let out a deep breath. Raising a hand to his chest, he smiled more warmly at his companion and nodded.

"Thank you. It feels better."

"Good. Figured it would be water in the lungs." He said as he parked it again. "I have had to fix my older brother like that so many times cuz he pissed me off and I damn near drowned his ass."

Moore laughed a little and leaned back on his hands.

"I wouldn't know. My brother was always very kind to me." His expression grew a little sad when he talked of his brother, and he moved on quickly.

"I didnt hurt you too much yesterday did I?"

"Naaaah. I woke up on the lawn, and was a little sore, but otherwise fine. I trained the rest of the day." He said with a nod.

"Hmm." Moore's eyes rested on the other man's face. "I'm glad. Honestly I'm not a big fan of causing anyone any pain or trouble."

Looking up at the trees above them he watched the silver glimmer of the moon climbing between the branches.

"I wonder what trick we should play." He said softly, referring of course to the detestable female of the fire clan. "There are an awful lot of thing we could do."

"Hmmm... Perhaps something simple. Part A, we both completely ignore her when she comes around, and act all buddy buddy. She's an attention whore so that'll annoy her to no ends. Then, part B, we each start talking about these amazing, wonderful girls we've met. This would have to take place of the course of a couple of nights." He said. "She's a gold digger, so it will annoy her severely to know that there are other girls who we're spending out money on."

"There is a point there. It seems to me that she would want to continue using us for all that it's worth and would go to some length to prevent us discovering her ruse. I wonder how much she would squirm if all three of us were together. Say for instance, one of us invited her to a restaurant, but we were both there and talking politely. She would have no idea how much we had discussed, and if she assumed we didn't know about her two-timing, watching her attempt to cover the fact would be absolutely hilarious."

"At the same time of course, it would infuriate her more, if we focused our attention on each other and swept her off to the side in any discussion. Kill two birds with one stone." He chuckled and grinned deviously. This was too much fun to resist no matter how kind Moore considered himself. After all, it wouldn't actually hurt her but perhaps they might be able to teach her a lesson.

"I said it once and I'll say it again. I like the way you think." He said with a smirk. "So when should we do this?" He asked. He was so thoroughly looking forward to seeing Desirei squirm.

Moore nodded his thanks for the compliment and continued to smile.

"Well it depends on which of us she contacts. I'd probably say that whichever if us she contacts first, should be the one to invite her to a restaurant. But then he would tallk to the other of us and arrange the rest. It would seem more suspicious if we made the effort to contact her and ask. She obviously does things at her own pace." He shrugged a little and reached into his pocket to find his cell phone.

"Here I'll give you my number."

He pulled out his own cell phone and flipped it open. "Alright. Tell me it." He said, ready to enter the number.

Moore told his companion his number and nodded. "And what is yours?" he asked.

He told Moore his. "There. As soon as she contacts one of us, the one she contacts needs to contact the one she didn't." He said.

With a chuckle he nodded and put his phone away. Standing up, Moore nodded to the other man and looked up at the sky.

"Sounds like a plan. But now I rather think we shouldn't be together lest the game be ruined by some spy or other. Good evening Mr. D'more."
