Xavier nodded, "Never can be too sure.." He leaned back against the wall again, "Are you hungry yet?"

" No I'm not." she said. " but we should get going. Keep traveling."

"I'll see about horses, while you get dressed." Xavier said sneaking out the door.

She got dressed and then headed down stairs to where xavier was.
|
Xavier was seated at the end of the bar waiting. He threw down his drink when he saw her coming. He stood and waited after paying the dwarf.

She walked over to him. " alright we can go now." she said. " Where to now?" she asked him as the headed for the door.
|
"Past the mountains... into unknown, uncharted territory. Unless you have a better idea...." Xavier stated walking to the door and holding it open for her.

She walked out. She looked around. " should we get supplies first?" she asked. " So we can travel."
|
"On the horses.." Xavier said pointing to two horses one with a bag over it. "Ready? It's going to be a long ride and I want to make it at least to where we can see the mountains by sundown."

" When did we aquire horses?" she asked. " We didn't have them before."
|
"Bought them when you were getting dressed.. unless you prefered to be carried." Xavier smiled at the notion..
|
" I think I'd get heavy after a while." she said. " So horses are good. " she said and looked at the steeds.

"Never..." Xavier instantly answered, taking her hand softly and leading her to the horses. He carefully lifted her on top of one of them, then winked and climbed on the other.. "You do know how to ride, right?"

She laughed. " of course." she said and grabbed the reins and clicked her tongue and touched the horses side with her ankles. The horse tured and started trotting down the path.

"Oh..." Xavier frowned slightly, then smiled again, he quickly caught up to her, "If we plan on getting anywhere we're going to have to go faster then this..."

" no problem.' she said and urged the horse to get into a gallop.
|
Xavier followed her lead, watching her intently. So intently he almost ran into a tree.... twice.
|
She stopped after a while to let the horses cool and then get water. She jumped down and watched him come up behind her. She noticed the times he almost ran into a tree.

Xavier hopped down quickly, not knowing she had noticed his almost falls. He walked his horse to the water and pulled out a map... "We might need to pick up the pace."

" are you in a hurry?" she asked filling her water bottle. " We should at least eat.....before we go again."
|
"Just worried... i don't know about you, but my Clan is not very stupid. I give my mother a max of three more hours before she realizes I'm not headed south. Once we're on the other side of the mountains, it will be more dangerous, yet much safer." Xavier explained gently wrapping his arms around her.

" you sure got comfortable with being touchy." she said. " And I'm not really." she said pulling his arms off. "lets not get touchy just yet."
|
"Alright... but we do have to get going...." Xavier shook his head and jumped on his horse, "Ready?" He was back to his old serious self. Xavier knew only one thing, he had to get her to safety even if he couldn't get there himself.

She closed her water bottle and took the reins from her horse and then leapt into the saddle. She urged the horse into a gallop and went off towards their destination.

Xavier galloped ahead of her this time, steering his horse off the beaten path and into the forest. It would be better if they weren't found. He went fast but not fast enough to loose her.
