"We're almost halfway up.... We can rest then." Xavier quickly added in a softer tone, "Do you need me to carry your bags???" He had stopped moving and was looking at her with worry.

She shook her head. " No, thank you I got it." she said.
(( I got an idea...what if as they go into the mountains they get hit by a blizzard and they go into a house but they have to...get close for body heat...if you get my drift *wink*)) |
{or a cave... I was thinking theres not much up there cause its always cold.... too cold... but the other side is uncharted territory... in other words... set up a home, no one can kick you out... but yeah great idea...}
"You sure?" Xavier asked eyeing her, "If you don't me to carry your bag, I could always just carry you...." His mood seemed to be lightening up again. |
"I'm fine."she said. " hey, is that a cave?" she asked seeing a dark hole up ahead

"Yeah..." Xavier thought to himself for a second and quickly replied, "If we go far enough in... they might not find us....."

" lets go in and rest." she said picking up her pace so they could get inside. She went inside and got up a light using her elven magic. " seems like it goes in pretty far."

Xavier nodded and followed her in. Stopping just a little in side, he listened and smiled, "Looks like we're not the only one's stopping... they refuse to go up the mountain... some thing about the weather... I think" Xavier walked in farther and sat down... "hungry?"

She nodded. " yeah." she said and let the light hover up at the top of the cave so they had light.
(( so a blizzard comes and the temperature drops dramatically and they have to get close together in order to survive. Naked or not XD)) |
{Well Xavier could go out hunting and get his clothes soaked.....and yeah....or it could just be fully dressed...whateve...}

{works for me...} Xavier looks at her, "You looked famished, I think I'll go hunt... stay here and get a fire ready" before she could object Xavier had ducked out of the cave and was walking across the mountaion towards the wooded area. Is it just me.. or is the wind picking up out here? Xavier dismissed the thought and continued on his way.

She looked around for brush that she could use for a fire. She did manage to find some and she built up the fire and added some wood. She kneeled there in front of the fire waiting for Xavier.

Xavier traveled around, and he swore he had seen that tree before. It was getting harder to see.... "Damn right there's something wrong with the weather" He muttered turning around. He had to find a way back.

She was getting worried. Xavier had been gone a while. She turned and went towards the mouth of the cave and saw that it was snowing and it was picking up. " Xavier!" she called out.

Xavier didn't hear her... he stopped to look around, not sure where he was now. Sticking his hand in front of his face, he almost gasped. It no longer was just snowing.. it was becoming a blizzard. Xavier closed his eyes, and tried to focus on the closest sorce of heat. He felt it to his left and began running still with closed eyes. He tripped multiple times, but after what seemed like days he came to the mouth of the cave.... He fell down instantly.

She saw him approach from the blizzard. She gasped when he stumbled and fell right at the front of the cave. She hefted him up and did her best to drag him inside and next to the fire

Xavier's teeth clattered as he tried to heave himself off teh ground. He was shivering and couldn't think strait, "fi... fi... fire....." He spit out. He was soaked though and through.

She layed him next to the fire. "Alright there." she said. " I'll bring out blankets." she told him and rummaged through their stuff for bed things

Xavier's lips were blue and he could hardly keep himself still...

" We need to get you out of those wet clothes. "she said. She pulled his wet shirt and then pants. She blushed when he was naked, but she wrapped him into the thick plankets.

{plankets? I think you mean blankets} Xavier shivered and quickly covered himself up.. he blushed slightly. Or would have if he blood was moving fast enough, he could hardly hold the blankets himself.

" Are you getting warmer?" she asked |
"Wa... wa... warmth?" Xavier coud hardly think of anything except the tingling pain in his fingers and toes... he still couldn't feel the rest of his body. Xavier quickly shook his head, flinching at the pain it caused.

She looked at him. She started to remove her own clothes and she blushed as she opened the blankets that were around him and she pressed her warm body against his cold one."

He shivered at the warmth and instantly pulled her closer.... He froze as soon as he realized what he had done. His eyes showed the guilt he felt for pulling her closer. He slowly pushed her away with all of his might, which wasn't much.
