Xavier grabbed her hand, "Now taht was uncalled for.... what is wrong with you?!?" Xavier held her hand tightly, "We're not going anywhere until you tell me what is going on..."

she tried to pull her hand away. " You called me a liar, and made me sound like an idiot."

"And for that I'm sorry.... It's just... you shouldn't know, it's not well it probably wouldn't be good." Xavier explained, pulling her hand closer. He stared truthfully into her eyes.

" Tell me anyway..." she said. " Being in the dark isn't helping me."

"Yes you have said that... and I am sorry.... please don't leave not now...." Xavier frowned.

"tell me xavier. "she said. " Please?" she asked. " I mean...whats the worse that can happen? I run away if fear?"

"Or you could think me childish..." Xavier said closing his eyes and letting go of her hand.

" let me decide that Xavier." she said and sat there and waited.

Xavier smiled, "you didn't run..." he looked back at her. "You sure?"

"tell me." she said. " And get it over with."

He leaned in and whispered in her ear, "you... I was dreaming of you..." Before she could say anything, he was on his feet and leaned against the wall staring at her.

She blinked. " you were dreaming about me? What was I doing?" she asked. " in the dream ."

He shook his head softly. "Mainly..." he whispered, "Kissing and holding me... like I was you.." He snickered.

" kissing me?" she said blushing. " Thats silly...I'm not that great."

"Now... don't go sayin that..." Xavier smiled at her... "I'd say you are great... but then again, I don't think it's a good idea for you to know what I think"

She blushed deeper. " Of course we hardly know eachother. " she said. " I could have a peeve that would turn you off or something."

Xavier stared at her thinking.... "Well..." he spoke slowly, "I guess there's just one way to find out...." before she could protest, his mouth was covering hers. He kissed her lightly, and pulled away after a few seconds. He looked at her, waiting for a slap or two. It really wasn't proper, then again neither was pretending to be married.

When he pulled back she stood there blinking stunned. She was too surprised to slap him or even say anything.

Xavier stared at her... waiting.. the shock would ware off sooner or laterand it wasn't fair to her for him to decide what her move was.

"well. " she said. " That was nice...." she looked at him. " But wondering why you did it."

Xavier tilted his head to one side, "To see if you'd object, of course." He smiled at her.

" well it was certantly surprising." she said.
|
"Surprising? good or bad?" he asked. Not sure what he was expecting.

" I said it was nice." she said.
