"Already did, when I got it..." Xavier answered, turning back to the task at hand.

"Well thats good." Mei said while opening Xavier's hands and placing her heart necklace in them. She then walked out the door

Xavier looked at the necklace for awhile. When he looked up she was gone, "great... now I have to go find her to return this...." Xavier stuffed the necklace in his pocket. He'd deal with that later.

Mei walked around the busy street trying to get far away from the library

Xavier quickly finish his work and took off only an hour after Mei. He made his way though the city, randomly asking people if they had seen her. No one even knew about her. He kept trying, not knowing which way to go.

Mei sat down thinking about the heart necklace she gave to the man. She knew it was cursed and had to be passed down to someone else. (please reply)

Xavier fingered the necklace, It was interesting. It had many carving surrounding the heart. It looked older then life its self. He was so busy looking the necklace over, he was almost destroyed by a semi, as he crossed the street against the light. |
Mei sighed. She knew she had to find the man she gave the neckalace to. She stood up and started looking and walking around.

After convincing a thirty people, and at least thirteen cops, that he was indeed okay, Xavier was free to go, without thankfully a close inspection. Xavier walked no more then five feet when he was hit hard by a two door, candy apple red convertable. He landed not three deet away from the mob that had surrounded him moments ago. This time he was forcefully abducted and dragged to the local hospital. {talk about bad luck...}

Mei was tired of walking around and just felt like sitting. She knew the bad luck had probably already passed on to the man she had given it to.

Xavier lay in the hospital bed, sufferign a mild concussion.... He had already tried to leave, twice. Only to be knocked down once by a nurse rolling blood, and one other time by a rush of doctors. What the hell is with my luck today? Xavier thought, drumming his thumbs in boredum.

Mei decided to go to the hospital and check. She knew that most people with the neckalace end up in the hospital. She checked every room when she finally found him. "I am so glad I found you." She whispered

Xavier looked up and instantly smiled when he laid eyes on you, "I was just on my way to find you.. if I could get over being constantly hit by something!!" He almost screamed the last word, but calmed down again, happy she was in the same room as he was. "You left this with me..." He stated holding out the necklace.

She grabbed the necklace and dropped it in the trashcan. She slightly smiled at him and something made her feel like she had never felt before. It was a good feeling though. She put her hand on his face and said "I hope you get better."

"he smiled... "Well that's the nicest thing anyone has said yet today.... I'm gonna be here until they are sure I won't die when I stand up.... will you visit again? " Then he realized what she had just done, "Why'd you toss that out... it's really pretty....."

"It's nothing," She said "And of course I will visit." She watched the doctor come in and the doctor asked her to leave so she waved at the man and stepped out.

She could hear Xavier speaking to the doctor, "Now why'd you have to do that?!? Couldn't you see we were talking?!?" The doctor didn't say anything back, and soon he walked out of the room, a soft snoring following the doctor out. Apparently the doctor had knocked Xavier out.

Mei was out of the docter but was definetly going back to visit. For the first time she thought she was in love. She was feeling happy, but scared for Xavier. She looked at her watch constantly waiting for the next time she could visit Xavier.

Xavier awoke a few hours later, someon was screaming!! He almost jumped out of bed, it took him time to remember that he was in the hospital, the er to be exact, of course people would be screaming. He lay back smiling lightly.

Mei was glad that is was finally a visiting hour at the hostipal. She started walking towards the hospital. She walked in the door and sat at the chair in the waiting room, for what seemed to be hours, then she started heading to the room xavier was in.

Xavier wasn't in his room... but the bathroom door was shut tight. The bed was made up and everything smelled like bleach.

Mei sighed when he wasn't in the room. She walked out looking around in more rooms.

Xavier walked out of the bathroom buttoning up his shirt. He slowly walked into the hallway, the doctor had looked him over and said he was good to go, mainly because there was a very large bus accident and the hospital needed the space. As he walked out of the room almost a dozen nurses wheeled another guy into the room.

Mei noticed Xavier and ran up to him. She smiled and said "Are you O.K."

"Sort of.. they're kicking me out because the need the space," Xavier admitted before leaning against the wall, a little light headed.
