Akira walked the streets with her hood up, assuring herself that no one was watching or looking at her. The last thing she needed was to be captured for the murder of the two barons she had killed in the royal court. There was a perfectly logical explanation for everything, and hers was simple: they deserved it. No one believed her when she tried to explain so she stopped explaining. This was the high court she had reached so people were lookign for her, the fugitive, all over the country. She always had to wear her shoulder length light blue hair tied back now and her shining golden eyes were always covered by the dark red hood she were over her black satin dress. Just in case, she always carried her katana with her, defending herself would be the last thing she would do before she would ever die. The last thing about her was the tiny fact that she was part elf, so her looks were not exactly ordinary. "Now where must I get fiid frim today?" she asked herself.

Evan was sitting on the side of the street beging for money. He was wearing a peice of cloth over his eyes becuse his parents said he was borne with a cure that was said that if he looked someone in the eyes he would kill them. But he thinks they made it up becaouse his eyes were as black as night and scared people. He was part werewolf but did not show it but he had a good nose and smeled blood. He looked at a girl in the crowed and said "if you are trying to hid the sent of blood you are doing a horable job at it."

Akira stopped seeing a hooded figure on the curb, and hearing his voice. Was he talking to me? "Excuse me?" she said trying to sound confused. She hoped that she would not have to fight i these crowded streets, especially before she had had a good meal. The authorities would surely capture her and she would be done for. Afterall, who would hear her story and believe it. "Sir, were you speaking to me just now? I have no blood to hide, only that which runs fast and true through my veins." She said sounding as innocent as possible.

Evan laugh a little "your hands are staind in blood even if you can not see it. You can still smell it if you have the right nose." Evan said as he lifted his head up to her. He smiled and thought I think she thinks I am blind because I wear this cloth over my eye and maybe even crazy for saying she had blood on her hands

She froze and her bottom lip quivered slightly, "Are you a warrior of the kingdom here to capture me then?" She said in a low voice, wondering then why he covered his face and how he saw such things that had been washed from her hands many days ago.

"I am not a warrior just a person trying to get some money." he said in a kind voice but then heard in the crowed say get that kid that is covering his face. He got up "well looks like it is time that I go and let me sugest that you go to" he said to the girl and ran down a ally

Curiously she set off after him, for some reason beyond all others she felt she could trust his words. Besides, she had hardly spoken to anyone in the last month and it was quite lonely. "Wait a second I just want to talk to you, is there a place we can talk?" She said attempting to catch up to him.

"yes just follow me." he said running. they came to a whole under a building and he slid down into it and said "come in here, we fugitives are safe here."

As she slipped down into the hole she dusted herself off and coughed. "Wait.. you are a fugitive too?" Suddenly she became even more aware of his hood and wondered what he could have possibly done. "Should I be on guard?"

"yes I am a fugitive. You see I kill people who Deserve it but I do it in public. So now they think that I am a murder. you might have heard of my work they call me the Masked Murder. But we are safe here, Those police officers only think to look above never below." Evan said as he sat down on a couch that was in the corner of the dark room. Evan pulled down his hood to reveal a golden haired boy who looked no more then 15. "now then you look tired. you should come and sit down." Evan said as he pated the couch saying for her to come and sit.

She stood up and followed him for a moment she thought of telling her fugitive story but her suriosity got the betetr if her, "I am wondering.. why do you cover yourself with that hood? There is nothign I see that needs to be hidden." She said with a small smile and taking a seat next to him.

"I wear this hood because I have werewolf blood him me. so some times ears pop up out of no where . but the blind fold around my eyes is a different story and I am not blind." he said as he pointed to the blind fold. "that is how I go the name Masked Murderer. Since no one sees my face." he said as he looked at Akira. "so how about you the sent of blood is on your hands?"

"Interesting werewolves, the ones I have met have been a pleasure. Still... I killed two royals on the high court. They burned my village to the ground for not bowing our heads to them and paying their dirty taxes. They are evil men and I felt for all the people they killed they deserved what they got." She crossed her arms and leaned against the couch thinking. Wondering about his eyes and whether or not he would bring her pain later.

"They did get what they deserved. But now that you have done that what do you plan on doing." Evan said as he went over to what looked to be a kitchen "would you like some tea?" he said as he put the pot on the stove

"I plan on finishing the job." She said nodding her head at his offer, "I still have to find the ring leader of their little organization, I made a mistake and now that I know who my target is I have to take him out and then my work is done." Akira said putting her face in her hands.

"you look stressed you should take a break for a few days. Working over time is a bad thing some times." Evan said as he handed her a cup of tea and sat down "I should know my work almost killed me the one time." he said sipping his tea

"Your right..." She said taking a sip of the tea that he had givin her. "So you nearly died? Could you tell me what happened?" She asked curiously.

"yay I was having to much fun with my job and forgot to sleep for three days and eat for two. SO on the fourth day I started to get dizzy when I tryed to kill someone, They saw that something was the matter and took the chance to strick but I was to fast and stabed him in the throut." Evan siad showing her where he had stabed the guy on his own throut. "so now I take a break after every kill which you should." he said sipping that last bit of his tea. and relaxed on the sofa.

She sank back into the chair and let out a deep breath, "Sounds deadly of you, I suppose if you do it for the reasons that are right and no one else will then it must be done." She said smiling at him. "I'm glad you found this place, and that I found you. I was becoming quite paranoid."

"well I am glad to have you here I am usually alone." Evan said as he streched. "you see my parents were afraid of me and would keep away from me. So I grew up alone and started to teach myself how to use a dagger. then I ran away from home and my parents did not even sent out a search party for me. When I was alone I got attached by a man saying I stole something form him. I killed him and here I am today." he said with a smile

She smiled at his compliment but then felt sympathy for him "What kind of parents would leave their child to the streets for being different?" She shook her head and finished her cup, "I just don't think that is right. This was my first kill but still I know it was right. I'm glad I found another person in my situation though." She said smiling.

"It is not my parents falt, you see it is because they said I was cured. they said that if I ever looked at anyone straight in the eyes they would die. so they put his blind fold on me and said to never take it off. But I am not sure that it is true so I keep it on just incase it is so that I do not kill some one who does not deserve to die." Evan said as he pointed to the blind fold over his eyes

She shuffled uncomfortably for a moment and then said in a small curious tone, "I would like to see your eyes.. .and I'd like for you to see me." She wondered for a moment what it would be like to where a blindfold on her eyes and rely on her other senses to guide her. "Have you ever tried it out before?" she said with a small cough.

"are you shore you want to, there is a chanse that you might die. But I have never tryed it before so it might as well." he looked at Akira and smiled "tell me when you are ready." he said as he tugged at the blindfold getting ready to take it off for the first time in his life.

"I'm ready, I mean the worst that could happen is that I will die..." she laughed and reached out to touch his hand. "It's ok, I'm ready when you are, it must be odd running around knowing you could see and not being able to. I want to help you like you helped me."
