(to help us all get along)

The Ninja Academy welcomes both those individuals who are looking for a serious ninja-based RPG and those who are looking for a place to hang out and goof off while expressing their inner ninja. ("FEAR MEH! For I am the CUPCAKE NINJA!! I strike like lightning and sprinkles is all that will remain of my deed!") Hopefully we can unite based on the common ground that WE <3 NINJAS!

1. In RPG spars, or in the heirarchy of the academy, not everyone can be an all-powerful ninja! To make it fair, the first few people to post who want to be Senseis can be Senseis. Senseis, keep yourself in line! No beating up everyone around you. (It'd be nice if Sensei's will be people who are around a lot and can help train any student ninja we have.)

2. PLZ no God-modding when you spar or fight!!

3. If someone claims a title for themselves (i.e. "Cupcake Ninja", The Mighty Dragon Prince", whatev) no other member may claim that title. If you are an active member of this thread and claim a ninja title for yourself I'll put it up on a member list.

4. Rules will be added as is seen fit. Let's all try to make this a fair and fun RPG.

PM me if you're interested in knowing the serious story so far.
It develops as we go along. Or feel free to participate in random chatter.

The beginning...

A lone girl stands in an empty field as the wind breezes softly around her and rustles her hair, tussling a sash tied around her waist. It is obvious that she is waiting for something though there is not the slightest sign of impatience upon her brow. Her eyes stare blankly, jadedly, at the horizon. At her side her hand rests lightly upon a thick belt possessing multiple pockets and pouches. The grass bows and her hair blows softly but the only movement in the clearing not a resut of the gently billowing winds is the slightest twitch of the girl's fingers on the hilt of her belt, quick and anxious and nearly imperceptable, like the beating of a fly's wings.

Then, Where are the others? she murmurs aloud.

Bio: Stern and emotionless one minute then amicable, good-natured, even silly the next! Uri takes her role in the academy very seriously but it doesn't mean she doesn't like to have a good time.

Bio: Do not ask but for some odd reason she managed to become a teacher. She is a good teacher but she is a spaz and acts like she is a 12 year old. But do not mess with her, she is very fast and and can dehead a man in 15 seconds if she wants to. Do not question her training metheds they are a bit weird but work.

Ah. I see you're here on time Griffin. But where are the students, eh?... *eyes Griffin up and down then plops on the grass, sighing.... Reclines, looking at the clouds.*

Griffen looks at the clouds and said "I think all the students forgot how about you." Then started to do flips for the heck of it.

*Looks at Griffen and the sides of her mouth turn up in a smile*
*Pulls out a sack*

Hey, how about some lunch until a few students get here?
*Magically pulls out a steaming hot bowl of chicken ramen from her sack and hands it to Griffin*
*Pulls out another shrimp ramen and munches it with a smile*

YUMMEH.

Griffen sat down next to Uri and smiled "you always know what I like." she said as she started to eat her ramen

Now if only I had some red kool-aid. O.O
*Ahem* *Uri coughs and sputters uncontrollably*
OMG, ack!! I think I'm *cough cough* choking on a noodle. *COUGH* x___X

Griffen wacks Uri on the back and she stops coughing "you should not eat so fast and how can you choke on a noodle?" she said as she went back to her ramen

* Uril ooks at Griffen gratefully and with a sheepish grin. *
XD "Yeah, thanks for that. I love ramen so much. I guess I did wolf it down a little too fast! That'd be pretty pathetic if I got killed here by a noodle after surviving all those dangerous missions..." Uri looks sad for a second as if she is thinking of something, then continues to munch ramen more slowly now. "Were you on the last mission too Griffen-san?"

"Do you mean the one that we had to go help that other village when they were being attacked. But when we got there we were to late and almost everyone was dead." Griffen said as she stoped eating and thought back to that mission. They had to go help the other village but when they got there almost every one was dead. The invaders of the village only did if for fun, nothing more. They even killed off all of the children one by one and made the children watch each of them fall dead to the floor. Griffen was at the front line and had killed off the second in comand, even after he was dead she still punched at his face out of anger.

Uri too thought back to the bodies of the dead children, their mothers, and fathers strewn on the ground like litter on the street. Her face remained stoic but inside she was filled with rage at all the lives needlessly lost and how helpless she had been to do anything about it. Their team had arrived too late. She hadn't been prepared by any traning for such a sight. She didn't know people could possibly be so ruthless. She vowed to herself that day that her students would learn justice and hunt down merciless killers like the ones who claimed all those innocent lives.

"I'm not hungry anymore." Uffie pushes her almost-finished ramen aside.

"One of the casualties from my side was a boy I have known ever since I was an academy student. I don't think either he or I was prepared to face a brutal massacre like that. We've got to train the next generation of students to be stronger Griffen. Am I right?" She tries to force a smile. "And atleast you got that rat-fink second in command." Uri had heard from her supperior of Griffen's fierceness in battle and her triumph over one of the enemies' leaders.

"true I did get the second In comand but My team had to pull me off of his dead body. If then did not I would have continued to punch at his face till nothing was left. But you are right we do have to train the next generation harder. so what is the training plan for today for them. I was thinking of dig a steam to the village or making them build a canoe with one hand tied up with someone else for team training." Griffen said thinking of what to do for the training for today

"Those all sound like very good ideas." Uri nods. "I think we should throw some target practice in there as well."

Uri lays down a set of kunai/knives on a nearby bench for the future students to use. She then walks to a nearby tree with an overhanging branch and takes a ribbon from her clothing. She ties the ribbon to the branch so that it is dangling and moves in the wind.

"Let's try to see if they can aim and cut this ribbon. Sure it's moving in the wind. But the enemy moves too of course. It'll be a good way to start learning accuracy." Uri then sits back in the grass near Griffen. "Of course, we'll have them spar eachother for practice too."

Suddenly Uri gets up in a hurry. "Meh. I'm supposed to go meet my supervisor. If you see any students before I do can you get them traning and maybe sparring eachother? ...Thanks."

Uri ambles off into the distance.

Name: Sari Mako
Sex: Female
Age: 14
Weapon of choice: A katana.
Abilities: Control of Element Water and healing.
Appearance: -Sari-

Bio: Sari lived on an island with her grandmother for a few years, while her grandmother tried to teach her to use her abilities. Sari was stubborn however, wanting to learn to use a sword.

When she was seven, her grandmother finally made a test, and told her if Sari could pass it, the grandmother would find her a teacher. Sari passed, but just barely. Her grandmother, reluctant though she was, took her to the best swords master she could find, who took one look at Sari and handed her a katana. He made her learn to use her abilities properly, telling her that it would come useful in swordplay.

After that, she learnt the use of both her weapon and ability quickly. He eventually sent her away, telling her she had great potential for a ninja.

She spent a year training with a ninja, who soon told her to leave, because she kept on making him look bad. When she asked him how, he told her that a ninja looks pretty weak when he's being outdone by a child.

[[Yes, you may be a sensei. Welcome Canna-chan.]]

*PANTS NINJA URI steals Griffen's pants... X}*

Sari walks out onto the field. She can see someone there, so she walks over that that person.

"Hello," she says, smiling.

Griffen loked at the girl who just came. "Hello there are you waiting for your students too." she asked

"Yes," said Sari. "They're awfully late, aren't they?"I'm Sari," she added, holding out her hand. "What's your name?"

"I am Griffen and you are right they really are late." Griffen said as she shoke sari's hand

[[I'll be a student from now on so we can move things along.]]

"I'm back!!!"
Uri runs quickly to the field where she sees the two sensei waiting.
"Sorry to keep you!! Uh..." She is trying to think of an excuse for why she was gone for so long. "Uh. My dog got loose..." Uri crouches over a little with her hands on her knees and pauses to catch her breath. "Anyways." She straightens up. "What will you have me do for my training Sensei."

"ok first of all you have to try and cut down that ribbin from that tree branch." Griffen said as she pointed to the Ribbin

*Uri salutes at Griffen* I will try my best Sensei!... *Grabs a kunai off the table and winks an eye, aiming carefully at the ribbon tied to a branch of the tree.... then, Uri throws it as hard and fast as she can*

-SWOOSH-
-The kunai misses.-

*Uri picks up another kunai and throws it, aiming carefully.*

-The Kunai hits its mark and slices the ribbon cleanly down the center-

"Aha! Third time's the charm I guess!" ^-^

"Looks like you need to work with your aim." Sari chuckled. "What's your name?"

"I'm Uri, Sensei." *bows* "I look forward to being your student.

*throws another kunai at the hanging ribbon and shreds it* "It looks like I'm getting the hang of this though!" *smiles*
