evan sighed "we should probably go look for him." he said as he stood up and got ready to go and look for him.

Thorn nodded and Pikachu got on her shoulder.

Charmeleon entered the cave. Hello? Is anyone here? He looked around and saw a small tunnel. Jewels sometimes are in caves. He said aloud. He got on his hands and knees and crawled through.

evan climbed onto arcanine "we will be abel to look better if we are on him" he said as he looked at her.

"Right. Let's go." She hopped on Arcanine. "You remember what he smells like, right?" Thorn asked Arcanine.

Arcanine nodded and stuck his head to the ground. After a few second he shot forward following his sent.

Soon they were at the cave. "Pika..." Pikachu said, smelling Charmeleon going in there. "Why would he go in there?" Thorn asked Evan. She climbed off and called in, "Charmeleon?"

Charmeleon had stumbled apon a large cave full of natural beauty. wow. he murmured. He heard someone call his name. It must be morning, oh gosh, I wonder how long they have been looking for me! He went to the tunnel, but then heard something. He looked up and saw the entire roof starting to crack. Slowly and quietly, he crept toward the tunnel. He bent down slowly, but then his tail thudded against a rock. The echo shattered the tension by making all the snow fall right down.

Evan put arcanine into his pokeball and climbed in after her. "charmeleon are you in there." he called.

Now, the tunnel was a long way from the exit. And snow was pushing after Charmeleon very quickly. He dashed through the tunnel, running seemingly in slow motion toward the exit. The snow was hot on his heels. "Charmeleon! Over here!" Thorn waved and called to him. That just made things worse. The snow that was on the ceiling but hadn't fallen and wasn't creating a tidal wave to get Charmeleon now fell, blocking the path for Charmeleon.

Evan cursed and had no idea how to get charmander out of there. He only could yell "find anther tunnel."

Soon he was blinded by falling snow. His flame on his tail flared up, like a beacon. Find me before- He looked up as a huge pound of snow came crashing down.

Evan quickly jumped threw a hole he had made in teh tunnel and jumped at Charmeleon. He cluched him ot his body and curled his body around his so that his tail wouldn't go out.

Thorn ran to Arcanine after the now had settled. "Arcanine, we need you to melt the snow, quickly!" If someone is trapped under the snow, they can get Frostbite, Hypothermia, they may not be able to breath under there, the list goes on and on! She suddenly thought of something. "Charmeleon or Evan, one of you has to stop using so much oxygen!" she called out. "The flame on Charmeleon's tail will use up oxygen, or Evan's breathing will use it up!" Charmleon shook off Evan and put his tail in his mouth, where it remained warm.

Evan slowed his breathing so that they wouln't use up so much oxygen. Arcanine nodded and started to slowly melt the snow away.

should I? Or should I wait? Charmeleon noticed that Evan's ears were turning blue. I have to. His fail flared up and made just a thin layer of snow on top. Unfortunately, he used the rest of the oxygen. He grabbed Evan and stuck his head over the snow.

Evan breathed a little bit then opend his eyes, his body felt really numb. "dont worry, I am fine" he managed to say as his eyelids started to fall again.

Thorn ran over and started to pull him up. "Stay awake down there Charmeleon!" she called. Charmeleon was already seeing black spots, but he nodded.

Evan hardly heard or felt Thorn as she pulled him out he was so numb. He felt as if he was in a very dark room and there was no heat at all.

Charmeleon tried breathing on the snow to help Thorn, but he was out of oxygen: he was slowly suffocating. His tail was in his mouth, but he was feeling it weakening along with his body.

Evan then opend his eyes and managed to get his pokemon out, "help char." he managed to say threw shivering lips. They all nodded and started to dig out Charmeleon ad Evan started to shiver vilently.

Thorn took off her coat and put it around his shoulders. "Warm up." she said. "Oh gosh, you look horrible! Arcanine, keep digging Charmeleon out, I need to bring your trainer to the cave." She helped Evan up and slowly led him to the exit of the large cave.

Charmeleon was dizzy, the air was gone, and his tail was just a spark. Just as he was about to pass out, he saw a light. Then he passed out.

Arcanine genlty grabed Charmeleon and dragged him out of the snow.

Evan was still shivering and could hardly walk in a straigh line without being guided by Thorn.

Soon she saw the cave that they were in last night. "Come on Evan, only a few more steps, then I'll light us a fire and you will lie down and get warm."

Charmeleon's eyes opened immediatly, but he still felt bad.He spat out his tail and closed his eyes. please tell me there is something on my tail! He whimpered to Arcanine, though he knew there only was a small ember.

Arcanine nodded yeah there is he said then took off with the others following them to the cave that Thorn and Evan where headed.

Evan managed to nodded and struggled to continue walking. Every muscle in his body was telling him to stop and just lay down to let the cold take over but he knew that he wouldn't.

"It's alright Evan, lay down here and think warm thoughts!" she commanded as she struggled to get the fire going.

Pikachu was riding Arcanine's shoulder, trying to keep the small tiny ember from going out.

Evan sat there shivering and tryed to blow on his hands for warmth.

Arcanine soon saw the cave in teh distance and started ot run faster, hopeing that the ember wouldn't go out.
