Using all of the twigs Pikachu had collected the night before, She soon had a pretty decent fire going. She went to Evan. "Are you feeling alright?" she asked, worried.

Pikachu said to Arcanine, Hurry, hurry! It's dimming!

Evan looked at Thorn and managed a nod threw the shivers. "yeah but my fingers feel frozen." he said as he held them close to the fire, They where almost blue

Arcanine then ran inside and sliped Charmander off fo his back and next to the fire.

"Let's hope they don't have frostbite." she said as she moved him closer to the fire. "Stick them as close as you possibly can- Charmeleon!" she ran over to her pokemon. "Oh my gosh, are you ok? Ahh! Your tail!" if one had an imagination, you could say there was an ember on there but Thorn was quite realistic. Without thinking, she moved his tail into the fire. Don't go out! she prayed, worried.

After a while Evan could feel his finger and looked at Thorn. "is Charmeleon doing okay?" he asked as he looked at her.

Charmeleon was panting, he felt strange, but he could feel something on his tail. He heard Evan's question. I'm fine, Just tired. he replied. Thorn hugged him. "Thank goodness. You did quite a good thing there Charmeleon."

Evan nodded "yeah, same here." he said as he looked at Charmeleon. Arcanine curled up around Evan to try to get him warmer.

Thorn helped Charmeleon up, who looked a little green. "He'll be fine. We just have to keep you two warm is all." she said cheerfully.

Evan smiled and nodded "feeling warmer already." he said as he felt himself starting to close his eyes.

Thorn smiled. "Arcanine, make sure he stays warm." she whispered. She took off her jacket and put it around Charmeleon. "If you need anything, just say so." she said softly, leaning against the wall of the cave.

Arcanine nodded then looked at Thorn, saying silently that she should rest also.

Evan was now fast asleep next to Arcanine.

"no, I'll stay awake." she said. Charmeleon took his tail out of the flames and inspected it. It looked really small. "Stop messing with it, it will be fine." Thorn said reassuringly.

Evan shivered in his sleep and arcanine pulled him closer. Arcanine then looked at Charmeleon. "keep it in the fire." he growled.

Charmeleon put it back in and lay down, his head was swimming, and he was concerned about Evan.

Evan groaned in his sleep slightly and after a while woke up. He still felt cold but not as cold as before.

"You feeling ok?" she asked, walking over.

Evan nodded "yeah, way better then before." he said as he looked at her.

"oh good! For a second I thought you had Hypothermia" she laughed and sat down.

Evan smirked and sat up, "I think if I has stayed in the snow any longer i would have." he said as he looked a ther.

"That is why we got you out." she said with a smile. She took out her bag. "Do you want something to eat?"

Evan nodded "yeah, I am starving." he said with a smile

Thorn looked into their bags. "Well, here you go." She said, making the last Oatmeal Mix and giving it to him.

Evan smiled and took it "thanks" he said as he started to shovel it down

Well, there goes the last of our food.... She thought sadly as she watch it dissapear. She went over to Charmeleon. "Charmeleon, we've run out of food and Evan just ate the last of it." she whispered. Charmeleon understood, he could wait.

Evan then relized something, he knew where they where. He knew where they where and where there was some food. He slowly climbed his way onto Arcanine and patted Arcanine to stand. "Thorn, I need to go now. you better stay here." he said as he looked at her.

"wait, why?" Thorn said going to her feet.
