Evan just looked at her, not trusting her words but didn't try to get her to tell him what she had really been doing "okay, well I am going to go and train now, your welcome to help yourself to the stew" he said as he walked into the forest and his pokemon followed him

Rose watched as he dissapeared. "Did he see... no." she sat down and gave herself a big helping of the stew. "Thanks!" she called with her mouth full.

Evan started to train Ponyta then charmader. All threw out the training he thought about what Rose would lie about

Rose was finally full. "Hadn't had a meal like that in ages, right pal?" she asked pikachu. He nodded. the other pokemon had had their share as well, and they were all happy. "Well, success you guys, I got an HM!" she looked at it. "'Fly'. cool." she put it away.

Evan continued to train but soon just started to play with his pokemon. He had no idea why she would lie since she was a nice person and really wanted to ask her why. but he decided not to since it wasn't anything that concerned him.

"Hmm, someone could get used to this life." she said. "Still can't believe that he thinks I'm a regular pokemon trainer. Sure, have pokemon, but hey, a girls gotta make a livin', ya know?" her pokemon agreed, and she said, "Well, this certainly beats the old life."

Evan stoped playing and headed back to Rose. Ponyta and the others went ahead of him since he started to pick some berrys on the way back. Growlith smiled when he got backa nd jumped on to Rose happly.

"Ahh! I didn't do it!" she saw Growlith. "Oh, it's just you. Where's your owner?"

Evan soon came over with some blueberrys in his hand "sorry got distracted"

"Oh, ok." she smiled. "'night!" she lay down and fell asleep for real this time.

Evan looked at her and then started to brush ponyta.

Rose had a sream. She was running from the cops again. No big surprise, it happens. But then Evan started running after her too, with handcuffs. Then the dream turned into a nightmare.

Evan looked at Rose when she screamed. He shook her shoulders and said "Rose wake up, your having a bad dream"

"Wha?! I didn't do it!" she looked up. Evan was shaking her awake. "Oh, it's just you." she sighed and got up. "It's nearly dawn anyway."

Evan just looked at her "okay why did you scream I didn't do it?" he asked

"Huh? ohhh, ummmmmmmm, I was being chased." she said. No use in getting into details.

Evan looked at her "okay" he said then got up "well it is about time you go and challange the gym leader."

"The gym leader? Oh, um, we decided last night to give it a little more time." she shrugged. She wanted to spend the day checking things out. "I wanna get supplies first."

Evan nodded "that sounds good" he said then smiled "hey how about a battle"

"Sure! what pokemon will you use?" she asked, quickly scanning her choices.

"I think I will use Ponyta" he said with a smile "what about you"

"Haunter." she said. Haunter rose up and asked, "Haunter, Haunt?" She nodded.

Ponyta walked over to Evan smiled whinnyed "yes it is time" he siad with a smile. Ponyta smiled and looked at Haunter, now ready to battle

"So, one on one?" she asked, making sure she knew the rules.

Evan nodded "yep"
