"Ok then! Let's begin!" she said. "Haunter, come out!" Haunter drifted onto the field.

"ponyta" Evan siad and Ponyta walked onto the field. "first move it yours"

"Ok. Haunter, use Shadow ball!" Haunter flew up real high and started getting a Shadow Ball ready.

Evan smiled "ponyta use flamethrower" ponyta used flamethrower right at the shadowball that haunter was forming

"Dodge!" Hazel commanded. Haunter dodged and threw the Shadow ball at Ponyta.

"use quick attack then flame wheel" Ponyta use quick attack and got out of the way of the shadow ball and headed straight for haunter and used flame wheel

Haunter was in trouble. "Haunter! dodge and use Lick!" Hazel told him. Haunter just passed the flame wheel and went and Licked Ponyta.

Evan smerked "use stomp on Haunters tongue." ponyta used stomp right when haunter used lick and smashed its tongue into the ground

"Haunter! Quick use Shadow Ball!" she commanded. Since he was so close to Ponyta, there was no way he could miss! He fired the Shadow Ball into Ponyta.

Ponyta got hit and was sent flying back and hit the ground hard. But got up "use quick attack then ember" he said and ponyta use quickattack and ember. It looked like a fire ball was headed straight for Haunte and hit him dead on.

"Haun!!!" He screamed. "Haunter! Jump up high!" Haunter understood. He started a Shadow Ball as he went up. He went careening down and hit Ponyta with the force of the Shadow ball and his own tackle!

"ponyta you okay" evan asked and ponyta got up weakly but was still ready to fight. "okay usestomp then flamethrower." ponyta nodded and used stomp into the ground and pointed the flaethrwoer down into the cracked earth and flames were sent up into the air from every direction

"Whoa." he was good! Haunter was way ahead of him though. "Haunter! Hide in the flames!" Haunter quickly dissapeared into the fire.

Evan smerked "ponyta close your eyes and stay calm and try to liten to his movement" he siadn and ponyta stood still and closed it eyes

Haunter was silent, a good quality in a ghost. He suddenly popped up behind Ponyta and hit it with a Shadow Ball/Tackle!

Ponyta fell to the ground but got us still. But it looked like it was going to calapse any second. Evan rose his hand and said "I surrender" he said then ran over ot Ponyta who fell over after a little bit and started to treats its wounds.

"It takes a good trainer to fight, it takes a better trainer to know when to stop." she quoted. "Good battle!"

Evan smiled and nodded "yay it was" he said as he treated Ponyta "I think you will have no problem with the gym leader if you keep battling like that."

Rose decided not to say anything to that. She said, "Haunter, that was awesome! It's getting really good that Shadow Ball/Tackle!"

Soon ponyta was back on its feet and smiled at Haunter. This was the first time that it had battled in a while. "yay that is a great move." Evan siad happly

"Well, I'm not actually the one who taught it, I just found him practicing one night." she said truthfully.

"I see well stil it is a great attack" he said with a smile and looked at Haunter "good job"

"Haunter, Haunt!" Haunter smiled. Pikachu went up on Rose's shoulder and whispered in her ear, "Pika chu, pi ka!" "Right." she nodded. "Well, now. Let's get going, shall we?!" she asked Evan.

Evan looked at her then nodded "yay lets go" he said with a smile

Rose quickly led the way out of the woods and into the busiest part of the city.

A trainer burst through the bushes where they just were. "I swear, they were camping there!" he said, pointing for a police woman. "Hmmm, where did she go?"
