It was a warm day, one of those day's where you just couldn't resist going to the beach. Axel sprayled out on his back, soaking up the sun's rays with a pleased groan, loving the feel of the sand on his back and the warmth on his face. Riku on the other hand, prefered the fell of the blush towel under him and the shade of the beach umbrella. He loved the warmth, just not the burning that usually occured when he ventured out into sunlight for long periods of time. Axel twitched his toes, groaning as he stretched, relaxing farther as he put his dark sunglasses over his eyes.

Roxas sighed as he walked along the beach. He was running late but he had come to hang out with the group in the water. He wasn't sure why everyone had wanted to come out here to the beach but he didn't really care. He wanted to be there at this point. Besides he kind of wanted to lay out in the sand and build a sand castle. He used to always do that as a child. The only question left in his mind was if Axel would do that with him. For some reason he couldn't picture Axel playing in the sand with him. As he walked over he just kind of flopped down into the sand.

Sora was in the water enjoying the motions of the waves rocking him back and fourth. There was nothing he ever enjoyed more that the gentle motion of the waves and the soothing feeling of the water. He knew the others were just kind of laying around but he had wanted to swim. "Come on guys the water is great", he shouted. He then suddenly saw a fish and ducked down under the water in pursuit of the lovely fish.

Axel sat up, realizing that Roxas had finally decided to grace them with his prescence. He gave the younger boy a smile, before flinging some sand at him. He scurried away, trying to get away from Roxas' wrath, incase the blond decided to relatiate. Riku couldn't help chuckling at the display, sitting up on one elbow, watching the two flirt shamelessly. He looked over at the water, having heard Sora earlier. The brunette always went to the water as soon as they got to the beach leaving the rest to set up the umbrellas and lay out towels. Shaking his head with a content smile on his face, he waved to him.

Roxas had just layed down when he was suddenly attacked by sand. He groaned and then turned to see him running away. He suddenly got up and started to chase after him ready to hit him back with sand. He was going to get revenge in that way. He wasn't sure of what we were going to do, maybe tackle him into the sand, maybe just spray him back.

Sora swam below and got the fish. He came up waving the fish at Riku before he released it and then waved at Riku. He then made a splashing movement as if telling him he should come in. He suddenly dove down again and returned about a minute later with a shell and waved it at Riku.

Axel ran to toward the water, suddenly stopping and turning around, catching Roxas in his arms. He had a big grin on his face before he fell back, falling into the water, dragging the blond down with him. Riku looked over at the red haired male as he fell backward into the water, blond in his arms. With a roll of his eyes, he could only imagine the verbal abuse Axel was about to get from Roxas.

Looking back to the sapphire eyed burnette, he slowly stood from his blanket and walked out to the water, testing it's temperature with his toe before deeming it warm enough to get in. Wading down to his waist, he waved at Sora to swim over to him. Though the water wasn't ice cold, it was still cold enough for his arms to prickle from the chill and make his shiver slightly.

Roxas was rather happy chasing after him for the moment knowing that in a few seconds he would have him. Suddenly he stopped and turned around causing Roxas to slam into him. Both crashed down into the water and Roxas was being held. He groaned and kind of made a splashing motion towards Axel when he was free in a calmer motion. "Hey whats the big idea, maybe I didn't want to get wet for awhile".

Sora was kind of just floating around happily when he came up. He got his big goofy grin and held the shell out for Riku. "There are a lot of cool shells down below". He was thinking of making it a competition but for the moment he was just happy floating along like they were. He grinned again and then glanced at the other two.

Axel laughed, splashing water at Roxas. "Well you didn't really have a choise, now did you?" He retorted, giving the blond a cheesy smile and catching him in a head lock before falling backwards into the water again. Riku noticed Sora looking over at the other two, so quickly splashed water in his face.

"Who ever gets the most wins." He said, diving into the water quickly, ignoring the chill that surrounded him as he furiously grabbed as many shells as he could fine

Roxas groaned when he said that, "well I should have...", he was cut off by the head lock and being pulled down into the water. He didn't really know much or care much about what could be happening next. He just kind of wanted out of the water, though playing with Axel was not an unhappy thought.

Sora just smiled at the sight of them until he got splashed in the face. He then sighed and looked over at Riku in time to hear what he was saying and then ducked down below the water. He followed and dived after some of the shells grabbing as many as he could handle.

After a few more dunks under the water, Axel released the slighter male, ruffling his sopping wet hair with a wide grin. "You look so cute, Roxas." He stated, standing up, water dripping from his swim trunks and cascading down his legs while offering his hand to the blond.

Riku surfaced for air before diving to grab a few more shells then waded his way back to shore, holding his bounty in his arms and waiting for Sora, who was sure to come up at any moment with his own shells. He watched the surface of the water, waiting for when the brunette would break the surface.

Roxas was feeling a bit odd when he was dunking her so many times. He then looked at Axel when he said he was cute and just blushed. "I am not cute", he sounded a bit upset but in the kidish way. He then took his hand and pulled himself up. He had been staring at the water running down his legs. For some reason it seemed to vascinate him.

Sora was still grabbing as many shells as he could. He then found that he needed air and started to come up to the surface. He smiled a tad bit and then noticed RIku standing on the shore and made his way over to the boy. He instantly grinned and showed how many shells he had. He had a lot of big ones meaning he didn't have all that many.

Axel shook his head, before wrapping an arm around the slighter boy's shoulders and leading him toward the sand. Walking them over to the row of towels Riku set out once they got there, he released Roxas and flopped down onto a dark purple towel and groaned, loving the feel of the sun drying his skin and shining down on him.

The silver haired teen couldn't help smiling. It was so like Sora to grab the big things, looking at quality and not quantity. He motioned for the boy to put the shells down as he started to could his shells. Licking his lips and pushing back some stray strands of wet hair he looked at the boy. "I have thirty-seven."

Roxas just kind of stared at the boy as he went along with him for the moment. He wasn't sure of what to do. He then sighed and stared at him as he flopped down for a moment. He then flopped down beside him and got a weird smirk as he listened to him groan. The sound was pretty sexy to him. He then just looked up at the sky and sighed his happy sigh.

Sora just stared at all the shells he had, there were so many. He dropped his and started to count his. He sighed a tad bit sense he didn't have that many. "Um I have eleven". He had the look of defeat on his face as he looked from the shells up to Riku. He could be quite the sore loser.

Axel sighed contently before turning onto his back, brushing his long hair over one shoulder. Turning his head toward the blond, he couldn't help the smile that graced his lips as he devoured the boy with his eyes. There was an over whelming urge to reach out and touch him, but he suppressed it by tightening his hands into fists.

Riku smiled and ruffled the shorter boy's hair. "It's okay Sora, you'll get me one of these days." He said before crossing his arms over his chest and looking thoughtful. "So I'm the winner, do I get anything special?" cocking his head to the side while raising an eyebrow, he looked at the spiky haired boy expectantly.

Roxas just just kind of sitting there staring up at the sun for a moment not sure of what he wanted to do right now. He still felt like making sand castles but right now he needed to dry off on the towel which probably wouldn't take long at all. He looked over towards Axel and noticed the fists and paused. Why would he be angry was a question to him. "Whats wrong", he asked looking over at him.

Sora just kind of grinned up at him when he said it was okay. He then paused a moment trying to think of a proper reward for him. After a moment he just looked up at him not sure of what Riku would want. "Why don't you choice a reward, I'll see if I can do it for you".

The red haired male seemed started by the other's words, but gave him a small smile. "Nothing. Why would you think anything was wrong?" He asked, sitting up and stretching with an over exadurated groan before he hopped up. "Come one Roxas, lets go make something, I'm getting bored laying around." He said before walking away, not even bothering to glance over at the other, knowing that he would follow without having to be told.

Riku rubbed his chin in thought, having already decided what he wanted, but making it seem to Sora like he did put some thought into it. He snapped his fingers and smiled. "A kiss," He said, then placed his index finger on his cheek, indicating the place before turning it toward the burnette with a playful smile. "Just like when one of us would win and Kairi would give the winner a kiss on the cheek."

Roxas just kind of grinned pausing just a moment. He was just content laying there for a moment as the sun dryed him off. He had no real complaints and that was fine. He grinned at the words lets go make something and jumped up. He started to run down the beach tell he though he had found a good area and plopped down in the sand. He started to dig getting some of the sand they would need.

Sora just smiled a tad bit at him when he said that. He hadn't been expecting for him to want a kiss as a reward. He didn't really care though at the moment as he was just happy to be here at the beach with them all. "See I knew you liked Kairi, you miss her kisses", he said teasingly and then kissed the boys cheek.

Axel chuckled at the blond's enthusiasm and took a seat in the sand next to him. He began helping him dig and when the thought that he had assisted enough he stood up, running back to the umbrella. He picked up a plastic bucket and then trotted to the water. In one swift motion he scooped up the water and made his way back to Roxas.

Riku chuckled at the boy's response and slung his arm over his wet shoulders. "And why wouldn't I like Kairi? She's really cute after all." He teased back wagling his eyebrows at the brunette. "Don't deny it, I know you think she's cute too."

Roxas just smiled a bit as he sat there and continued to dig. This was always his favorite thing to do so he had no complaints on being here right now. He then noticed that Axel got up and he just waited patiently. He would be able to start the building process soon. He planned on making a really big castle and sitting in the middle then.

Sora just laughed standing there with Riku. He had never really thought of Kairi as more than a little sister because he didn't like girls. "Yeah as a little sister", he told him. He then laughed and glanced around, "What should we do now", he asked.

Axel hauled a few more buckets full of water of to the blond before setting the last one in the sand next to him and sighing heavily. He rubbed the thin sheen of sweat from his brow and pulling his sunglasses over his eyes. "Okay, lets get creative!" he said, clapping his hands together, in a "lets get down and dirty" kind of way.

Riku chuckled before looking over at Axel an Roxas. "Well, a, we could build a sand castle with Roxas and Axel, or b, we could go lay down under the umbrella and get a little R and R. Which do you want to do?" He asked, focusing his aqua gaze on the sapphire eyed boy.

Roxas grinned at him and then nodded at that, he was rather excited to be playing in the sand with Axel. He then started to collect some of the sand and with his hands poured some water over it. He then started to try and form some kind of hill on the castle. He wanted something really big.

Sora thought for a moment and then smiled, "Race you back to the umbrealla". He paused just a moment so that the two would be even in their racing and took off running. He kind of wanted to be alone with Riku for a little while.

Axel sat opposite of him and poured some water over the sand before him and started to pile it up next to Roxas' hill. He rubbed his nose, smearing sand over his cheek and the bridge of his nose. He dug his fingers into the cool grains and pushed them up into a large mound, using his fingers to shape it into his own design.

Riku pumped his legs hard, propelling him forward as he and the brunette ran neck and neck. With one final burst of energy he dove for the shade under the umbrella, covering his damp skin with sand. He panted and turned onto his back watching the brunette with a cheesy grin.

Roxas smiled a tad bit at him as he dug in the sand with the older boy. He was rather enjoying himself sense he didn't go to the beach as often as he used to. He then laughed when he had sand on his nose. "You need to not rub your nose". He started to try and make a wall now.

Sora didn't dive like he did so Riku got there first. He had so been hoping to win this competition. He pouted and sat down on his towl. "Man you win at everything Riku, you really always do". He chewed on his lip not sure of what else to do.

"What?" Axel asked shaping the sand into a wall of his own, glancing up at the blond. "What are you talking about?" He asked pausing in his work to raise a red brow at the boy.

Riku smiled, punching his arm softly. "I don't ALWAYS win." He said, smiling. "You win every once in a while." He teased, sitting up and rubbing the sand from his skin. "I really need to take a shower when I get home." He said absent mindedly to himself.
