Kai was sitting on swings in a nearby park. He agreed to meet Mel here, well, actually they met here every time, they used to play here when they were kids. It sometimes puzzled him how they still managed to stay friends after all these years, especially when she drives him nuts from time to time when talking about new crushes she seemed to get every few months.

Kazimiera walked by the playground in the park. She had just left Seneth's house... it would be a long day. Especially since she didn't work tonight. It was a nice day, bight and sunny. She found a table near the playground, and set her small backpack on it. She took a seat and pulled out her laptop watching the children play.

Kai was getting impatient. Mel was late, just like always. He should have gotten used to that, but it seems it annoyed him every time. Kai looked around and saw a girl sitting by a table just a bit further from the playground.
"Hey, Mister, could you get of the swings?" a kid asked. Kai just glared down at him and the kid walked away without saying a word anymore. Kai grinned.

Kaz looked up at the sound of the child. Her green eyes shimmered in the sun, and her red hair fell into her face. She scowled when she saw what, better yet who, was causing the problem. Moving her hair out of her face she took in a deep breath. Then she went back to her work.

"Kaiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!" a cheerful voice was calling him and he turned his head just to get 'glomped' by Mel, "Well you're as punctual as ever..." he started with a slight grin, "And you're as sarcastic." She stuck her tongue out, "Anyway, thanks for waiting on me..." she rubbed the back of her head, "No problem."

Kazimiera didn't even look up, she was to busy completing her "paper" though it actually wasn't. She did however pay attenetion to their conversation.

As Kai looked around the play ground, his eyes stopped to one girl, she looked strangely familiar, but he was sure he hasn't seen her anywhere before, however the feeling lingered...
"Kai? Kai!" Mel stared at him curiously, "You're spacing out, what are you looking at?" she followed his glance and grinned.
"What's with that grin of yours?" he asked and frowned, "I don't like it at all..."

Kaz didn't look up as her phone rang. Instead she only stood and pulled it out. It was Calvion. She flipped open her phone and turned away from her computer. "What is it? I just left your place..." There was some gurgling on the ohone and Kaz laughed... "Okay.. Okay... just stop..." She pleaded softly into the phone. Half way though her call another ring sounded though the park, and Kaz was instantly searching though her bag again..

Mel giggled as she heard another phone ring and saw the girl searching for something again.
"Maybe she's popular" Mel grinned.
"Hey now! You sound mean!" Kai teased, "Well anyway, lets go wherever you wanted us to go to?"
"Yes! Lets go to the mall..." she started and then noticed Kai's expression, "Oh come on, please? Only for a little while, I promise!"
He rolled his eyes, "Okay, whatever, don't have anything better to do anyway.."

"Gotta go Calvion....sorry work..." She closed her phone and checked the other, picking it up she answered with one word, "Where?"

Kaz growled and began packing up. Of course... her job came first she knew that. But the mall? For an article? Course the article was on the latest fashion.. which Kaz was the best one for the job. But please the mall? She rolled her eyes and grabbed her bag heading towards her black Bugatti Streamliner. It was a little extream for this town however it was a gift and she liked it.

Kai and Mel took the trolleybus to the mall. It was cramped.
"It's the last time I'm using public transport..." grumbled Kai.
"Oh quit complaining, you always say that." Mel giggled and a few minutes later they reached their destination.
"We're here!" Mel exclaimed.
"Woohoo..." Kai rolled his eyes and followed his friend to the entrance.

Kaz had always parked herself, but since recieving this gift she had had soem trouble refusing the "help". She got out of the car as the valet held the door for her. She grabbed her bag and wallet. Her mission, simple... the crowds... not so much. She made her way to the first shoe store... taking notes as people helped her make her new selection.

"Now, where should we start?" Mel clapped her hands excitedly.
"Wherever we'd finish sooner..." Kai mumbled and followed her preparing himself for few hours of boredom.
"Hey, look over there!" she pointed to a large group of people, "i wonder if some new fashin show is being held here..."

Kaz had shut down a complete store, having the ability to test, try on, and document all the items of clothing in it... the crowd standing outside the doors weren't happy, except for the guys when she appeared in one of the many low cut dresses.

Mel and Kai managed to get into the front rows.
"Woah..." Mel's eyes grew wide as she watched all the dresses she wanted, but probably would never have a chance to wear.
"I agree..." Kai nodded looking at all the models and their figures, one of those models looked strangely familiar.Mel looked at the woman he was talking about and looked at her carefully.
"Hey, isn't that the same girl we saw at the park?"

Kaz did her "modeling" job, quickly swiching out fits again and again until the store was completely tried on, and documented. Each model then changed into jeans and a tee and the doors opened again.

The show was over, but Kai still the vision of the girl in his mind, she looked stunning up there.
"Hey... what are you day dreaming about?" Mel looked at him curiously.
"N..Nothing, let's just get this over with..." he grumbled.

Kaz whisked though the crowd.. she really did hate her boss, sure out of her and the gay guys at the office she was the one that looked best in dresses, but still did they have to send her out to try on more weekly??? Thankfully she had enough information to write an article on the new store.. she wouldn't have to worry about that.

"Kai look! It's her... what do you say if we ask her to have tea or coffee with us?" Mel suggested. Kai just looked at her weirdly, "You know, I should be the one who suggests things like that..."
"Oh, don't be silly, I'm always up for making new friends" she grinned.
"You want the dresses right...?" he sighed, but the thought itself looked appealing so he went with it.
"Excuse me, Miss?" he ran up to Kaz.

She stopped and looked at him, "Do I know you... Did charles send you?" Kaz's boss often sent random people to drop assignments her way... it was a daily activity since she never went into the office.

"Uhh... who?" he blinked at her a bit confused, "I'm sorry, my name is Kai and my friend and me wanted to invite you to join us for a cup of tea or coffee." he smiled at her charmingly.

"Oh... I'm sorry.... I thougt you were from my office. I really don't have time for food. I have to run this article and photos. Deadline's at seven." She checked her watch... "Well perhaps a cup of tea would be alright."

Kai sighed with relief and smiled again, "Thank you for your time, now, shall we go? There is a nice little coffee shop not far away..." as he was talking to her Mel approached, "Hello!"
