"I'm sorry.......but that's just how it is....." Rion said. "Even if we just destroyed the alien parasite within them, it would make no difference. Besides imagine if they killed someone you cared about would you let that go? I.......if they killed me, what would you do?" Rion said, "Before all else, I'd kill them before they harm innocent lives like you. I don't want to kill people, it goes against my Master's teachings but in order to protect people I cherish, I'll defeat anyone that stands in the way." Rion said.

"Same here." Rion said. "If it was you, that I was fighting I'd just stand still. Because hurting you would hurt me as well." Rion said.

"Uh..." Anko was thinking. "I'll join, if you can get Mixi to join..." she told the dude.


Mixi didn't know what to do, so she decided to go exploring around the city. When she got to a random alleyway, she took Crys off her neck and whispered to him. "Find Rion, and tell him that now he's on his own."

Crys turned into a white dove and flew over the city until he found Rion. He flew down and landed in front of him. He turned into a man in black clothes with white hair and looked at Rion. "I have a message for you..."

"I don't know if I can get her to join." Alastor said. "But maybe you can try...." Alastor had a scheme brewing in his head.

"Oh, a message? From who?" Rion wondered.

"Mixi," Crys told him.


Anko shrugged, "Fine, but I have a problem. We haven't been introduced and we are already setting buisness deals."

"Very well then, I am Alastor Kroney of the Dark Resonance. I'm also one of the 10 Shadow Knights, my number is 4." Alastor said.

"I see......she's leaving isn't she? She's going to go after her friend, correct? I don't know if I'll ever see her again, but I want you to give her this." Rion said as he took out an instrument from his bag. "This belongs to the Envoy of Mana, it's Harmonia: The Melody of Mana." Rion walked towards the male and handed the instrument. "Also tell her thank you for the gift she gave me, I wanted to repay her by taking her out on a date but I guess that will be postponed." Rion said.

"And I'm Anko," she said. "Just... just Anko..."


Crys sighed, "She said you were on your own because she thought you didn't care enough about her," he said. "But if you want, you may come with me to rejoin her."

"Uhm, sure! I'll come with you. But why would she think that? I hope it wasn't because of Akino." Rion said. "Hey Akino, I need to go get Mixi so uhm, just follow one of the other Envoys first I'll meet up with you later, okay?" Rion said as he started to wait for the male to start moving.

"So Anko, you do know what is means to join our side, right?" Alastor asked.

Crys bowed his head, "Good, follow me," he began walking. "Bythe way, do you even know who I am."


"No..." Anko said. "But I bet you are going to tell me."

"Okay then." Rion followed the male. "Yes I know, but it's not a matter who, it's a matter of what you are. You're the Artifact Crys, correct?" Rion said. "I'm aware of your existence among other things, but first before we go any further. There is something I want to ask you. That woman, Anko was it? I remember seeing her face in my memories or rather my past self's memories. Why does she hate me and Shion? We haven't done anything to her at all, I'm vaguely getting some memories from the past but the memories aren't complete. I still need more time to figure anything out." Rion said.

"Join us means, that your very soul belongs to us!" Alastor said, "Are you still willing to accept that?" Alastor smiled.

Crys was aboslutely certain this question would be asked. "You and Shion were accused of killing Anko's fiancee..." he said. "Anko has grave heart damage that caused her to be the person she is now."

"Like I said," Anko told Alastor. "If you get Mixi to join, I will too. That's all I'm saying."

"Well that's if her mind isn't completely made up." Alastor said, "We can persuade her if you know how to get her attention." Alastor smiled.

"What?!" Rion said. Rion was shocked to hear such a thing. "But, that's impossible! Why would I be accused of that? I never killed anyone before. Sure, during the wars I've fought I had to hurt people but I never killed them!" Rion proclaimed. "I want to find out more, if only....if only I can dig deeper into my core, into my past self's memories then I can find the truth." Rion said.

"I do know," Anko told him. "I'm absolutely certain."

Crys shrugged, "It was Shion that apparently killed the woman, but you were the one that tortured her... at least, that's what she believes."

Rion tried to dig deeper into his past self's memories after what Crys said. Rion fell to his knees after he saw a horrid memory, he wished he didn't see. "No, it wasn't us.....Anko's wrong. I saw what happened through the looking-glass in a tower back when I was finished defeating one of the Shadow Knights with Shion's Grandmother, Razrel. Two of the Remnants impersonated us, Alastor and Ashe. I can't remember correctly, but I know some truth into it now. Me and Shion are not to blame, we're innocent." Rion said with a serious look, Rion's head felt some pain afterwards.

"Well then, how do you propose we get her here?" Alastor asked.

"Then Alastor must have fixed her memory," Crys told him.


Anko answered, "I dunno, you are the evil guy, don't you have any ideas?"

"Maybe he did, but I do want to set things straight. Innocent people should not be accused for things they didn't do." Rion said, "But first, I must see Mixi. Let's go on, I don't want her to get upset at me." Rion said.

"I could just hypnotize her, but that's not nice now is it?" Alastor said.

Crys nodded, "Even though she thinks I'm to return alone."


Anko glared at him, "You better not!"

"Yeah, yeah Princess, don't get all prissy." Alastor said. "I was just listing a suggestion."

"I see....well lead the way then." Rion said as he followed Crys.

"Do whatever you want," Anko told him. She wasn't going to let Alastor get the satifaction that she would be easy to get to. She just wanted to see Mixi again.

"Fine," Crys said, resuming his path to Mixi. Walking was a lot slower than flying

"Sheesh, you're one tough cookie, aren't you?" Alastor said.

"Uhm, it's easier.....how about we fly?" Rion said as he commanded his cloak to change into wings. Rion flew into the air waiting for Crys to lead.
