"I'm sure you will." He chuckled, smiling at Andrew as the man moved to leave the doorway of his office. He sat down at his desk and set his crutch aside so he could begin going through his papers again. He still couldn't believe he wouldn't set foot in there this weekend, he wasn't sure he could do it! Though.. he really enjoyed the time he got to spend with them both now, so maybe he wouldnt even think about work until he remembered he had to go back on monday! That'd be wonderful.
He worked quietly through the day, only having to take Jacob's collar off once for a quick small one on one meeting before lunch, rubbing his neck slowly as he walked back to his room, imagining Andrew might already be waiting there for him. |
Andrew's morning went by slowly as he worked through tasks that needed to be completed and discussing things with others. Still though he'd almost decided on skipping lunch until he remembered his lunch plans and set things aside to continue once he returned. Walking over to Ash's office he frowned at the empty room and looked into the hall to spot Ash returning.
"Hey there, have a good day so far?" Andrew asked companionably in greeting, a warm smile was the true greeting for his lover though. |
Ashley blushed faintly at that smile and he smiled in return as he approached Andrew and his own office, looking in for a moment. He almost wouldn't have stopped in there but he remembered he was rubbing his neck for a reason. it felt kind of naked already without the material against it. He slipped into his room, moving fairly well now with that crutch. Sitting down, he got the collar out of the drawer and moved to slide it back on and close it, keeping his hair out of the way.
"Should I give Jacob a call and see if he's still up?" He asked as he stood with the crutch once more, moving to turn his lights out as he got to Andrew, closing his locking his door behind him so they could head out for a lunch break. |
Andrew watched Ashley put on the collar from Jacob in content silence. He rather wished that their relationship didn't need to remain a secret but after the scolding from the boss it was too threatening to be more open than standing a foot away only and keeping a respectable distance from his lover.
"Yeah, if he's still awake it'd be a break from relaxing in boredom," Andrew said with a nod, he had full intentions of inviting Jacob if the man was still awake. |
Ashley nodded and smiled as he pulled out his phone, dialing Jacob's number and calling him. He walked with Andrew while they waited for an answer. He couldn't wait until they were somewhere they could hold hands and actually show some affection again. Of course they couldn't risk it there, people already murmured about his collar, it was a violation of the dress code after all. Of course, most dind't do too much about it, he didn't go into meetings or see clients with it on, and it wasn't threatening to any of his co-workers.

Jacob hadn't gone to sleep at all that morning although his mind wanted to his body was much too awake to allow him to do so. Instead he entertained himself by watching television and then began his work out once more when he realized he hadn't done them in quite a while. With a guilty conscience he pressed himself harder than he should and was just getting out of the shower when he heard his cell.
Nowadays only one person called it so he hurried over to answer it on the third ring. "Hey love, miss me already?" He teased toweling his hair dry with his free hand, and otherwise in the nude in Ashley's apartment. Andrew lead the way leaving the man to speak with whoever would answer on the other line. He hoped Jacob was still awake, but another part the one that wanted to act jealous hoped that the man had fallen asleep and it was Alex who answered. Holding the elevator doors open for the small brunette he ignored the cruel side and leaned against the wall his eyes never leaving the attractive young man. |
Ashley smiled at that familiar tone and he knew that Jacob was definitely still awake. "You know it." He retorted with a small chuckle, smiling a little more at Andrew as the man held the elevator for him. "Well, we were wondering if you wanted to join us for lunch? We were gonna have pizza."
He hoped he would, it would be another nice chance for them to all try and get along again and just have some fun. Somewhere where things shouldn't be able to get sexual. |
Jacob grinned as he listened to Ashley chuckle over the phone, licking his lips he smiled when the man invited him to lunch and headed to get clothes. "I would love to, pizza sounds great right about now." Smiling his hand pushed through the clothing for jeans a tank and a button up top. "I'll get dressed and head down shortly then."

"Sweet." Ashley giggled a bit, smiling as he listened to Jacob. He was feeling unusually high spirited for haven't to have been practically dragged out of bed that morning. "We'll see you soon then, mmkay?" He waited until he knew they were going to be done talking, said goodbye for the moment and hung up, pocketing his phone.
Smiling at Andrew, he glanced up as the doors opened when they reached the main floor. He was itching for attention from the man. A hand to hold, side to lean in against, a kiss, he couldn't wait until they were out of the sight of those who mattered, heading out of the elevator with the man. |
Andrew listened to the one sided conversation with a small smile to his lips and lead them down to the car pleased to be getting closer to the point that they could give up the pretense of being only colleagues. In the car he turned his body to watch Ash climb in, he reached out to brush his fingers through the brown curls gently a warm smile to his lips.
"On to your place then?" Andrew said knowing the answer though as he leaned in for a gentle kiss in the privacy of his car. Setting the car in gear though he pulled out of the parking spot and on his way to the apartment complex. |
Ashley smiled as they settled in the car and he looked at his lover as Andrew ran those fingers through his hair, enjoying that feeling. He leaned into the kiss gently, nodding in reply. "Yeah." Ashley leaned back and looked out the window as they headed down the street to his place, it wasn't like it would be a time consuming drive over. It only took five minutes if the traffic was really bad.

Jacob was standing outside waiting when the car containing his two lovers pull up and he slid into the back seat. He was looking forward to do something outside the small apartment and was even pleased it was with Ashley and Andrew to get food in his rumbling stomach. He leaned over the seat to press a kiss of hello to Ashley and then to Andrew feeling energized still even after a hard work out only a little while earlier.
Andrew chuckled smiling back at the small blond as he pulled away from the curb and drove in the direction of the nearby restaurant. "Had a good workout I take it?" Jacob blinked startled as he buckled himself in. He was surprised the former customer had guessed correctly. "How'd you know?" "You're always irregularly energetic after it and you've obviously taken a shower for some reason, though you had one earlier." Andrew teased a chuckle escaping him. |
Ashley smiled and kissed him back gently in greeting. He was surprised to find Jacob so energetic, after all, he'd kind of expected him to be tired and asleep by the time lunch hit. Not that he wasn't happy to see his lover, of course. He was very happy to get to have lunch with them both.
He hadn't even realized Jacob was freshly washed again, he hadn't thought about it being strange, but he supposed he was used to seeing Jacob fresh out of the shower. "I wouldn't have even noticed." He admitted with a chuckle, shifting slightly in the seat to turn and look back at Jacob, though it was a little hard to do seeing as his leg was still casted. What a pain. His stomach made a noise and his freckled cheeks blushed, he was really hungry he realized, his appetite had been returning lately. |
"Perhaps I should remain dripping wet for you then?" Jacob teased Ashley lightly eliciting a laugh from the tall brunette driver. He smile brushing lightly damp locks of hair from his eyes and smiled as he spotted Ashley looking at him and watched the blush grow across his cheeks.
Andrew chuckled hearing the telltale growl of Ashley's stomach knowing both his boys would have a heady appetite for lunch. He pulled into the parking lot and shut off the car with a pleasant smile and announced needlessly, "We're here." |
Jacob's teasing only made him blush even more than his stomach had caused, and he stuck his tongue out at his other companion playfully. When they got there, he turned into the seat again and unbuckled, happy to get out of the car again and he could already smell the pizza. He'd gotten out on his own this time, gasping as he felt his crutch slip out from under him on a rock and he hit the pavement on his rear with a small grunt. "Unf..!"
Well that was embarrassing. He wasn't hurt, and even chuckled a bit nervously as he began to try and get up again. |
Jacob was stepping out the door closing when he spotted the small brunette fall and Andrew had been waiting on his side since he was nearer to the door. Both of them however moved to Ashley's side, Jacob being right there didn't have far to go as he squatted down and aided Ashley up his arm still around the man securely taking most of his weight as Andrew picked up the crutch.
"Are you alright?" Andrew asked before the words got a chance to leave Jacob. Both of them looked rather more startled than worried but there was still a sense of wanting to make certain the younger man was unhurt. |
"Yeah. I'm fine." He nodded as he was helped up by the men, his cheeks flushed softly still, using his free hand to dust himself off before reaching to gently take the crutch from his lover so he could work on standing on his own again. He didn't plan on letting Jacob practically carry his light weight body into the eatery, he could walk fine after all.

"Good," Jacob said with a gentle smile, releasing Ashley when the man could stand with the help of the crutch after Andrew passed it to him. His hand drifted to take Ashley's hand gently with a glance at Andrew.
"Come on you two, I believe we're all hungry by now," Andrew said chuckling a bit closing Ashley's door as soon as the two were out of the way. He lead the way into the restaurant and followed the waitress to one of the empty tables. "What sort of pizza do you two like?" |
Ashley nodded, his stomach wouldn't hold out on him much longer with the pizza smelling so good! He walked in with the men, chewing his lower lip briefly as he looked around the restaurant while they walked to their table, sitting down carefully and leaning his crutch out of the way of everyone so there wouldn't be any accidents.
"U-uhm, I like pepperoni." Ash piped up at the question, shifting to carefully roll his shirt sleeves up to his elbows so he wouldn't be getting them dirty. |
"I like Pepperoni and bacon," Jacob said chuckling some as he sat back against the seat that he took next to Ashley and smiled as Andrew sat down across from them. He decided he was just going to enjoy the time out with the two and he was certain it would seem less of a competition as soon as they all relaxed. "Though, I don't mind if we stick to pepperoni."
"No, I was planning to get two mediums," Andrew told Jacob looking up at the waitress who waited patiently for drink orders at least. He didn't need to look at the menu as he made his order. "Two mediums, one pepperoni and one pepperoni and bacon. I'll have a pepsi with the meal and whatever drinks they might like." "Pepsi for me as well," Jacob said giving an easy smile up at the woman. He blinked when he noticed a blush cross her cheeks, he hadn't meant for it to be flirtatious at all. He shrugged it off, he might be too confident about his looks but he knew he was good looking enough to attract more attention than just from the gay male populace. |
Ashley chewed on his lower lip, if they'd been only getting one pizza, he would have insisted they get the kind Jacob wanted, after all, it only had bacon added to it. He smiled though as Andrew easily solved the problem by getting two pizzas for the group of them.
"Ah--I'll have a pepsi too." He said to the waitress, he would have usually had a water to drink, but soda sounded like a good treat, and he figured he was already having pizza, he could always drink more water later. |
The waitress wandered off to place their order and get them their drinks. Jacob set an arm around Ashley's shoulders still feeling a little restless and even more hungry now that the scent of pizza was in the air. "How was your day so far?" He was at a loss for what to say and so he said the first thing that came to mind, lousy though it might be.
Andrew shrugged some wondering about how awkward this seemed all of a sudden. Sighing to himself he gave a small smile. "Good, managed to get through all that I'd missed yesterday." |
Ashley leaned against Jacob a bit as the man settled that arm around his shoulders while they waited, listening to them talk for a moment. "I haven't gotten caught up yet." He sighed out, "probably shouldn't have taken a lunch, but I was hungry." He chuckled faintly, resting a hand gently over Jacob's, rubbing the top of the man's hand.

"You wouldn't have gotten away without a lunch anyhow," Andrew said matter-of-factly, smiling sweetly in a manner that seemed to be opposite his strict tone of voice. He watched the two without feeling left out but liked the picture of the two of them and he'd spotted Jacob getting ready to scold Ashley as well with a gentle chuckle he met Ashley's eyes again. "After all, didn't we already state we want to see you at a healthy weight?"
"You'll catch up in time, if you wind up sick from not eating and work stress then you'd fall behind more," Jacob said softly, he didn't know quite how true it was if the man would wind up catching up but he knew one could fall easily to sickness. He'd nodded along with what Andrew had stated and kissed the top of Ashley's head. "No more skipping meals." |
Ashley blushed and pouted at the double scolding he received, though he wasn't unhappy about it. He knew they both cared about him, and that made him quite happy. "I know--I would have eaten in my office." He protested, smiling a bit now. "But i wanted to see both of you."
The brunette nodded a little to Jacob. "I won't." He replied quietly. At least, he'd try not to skip anymore meals. Sometimes he just forgot, but if he had them always reminding him to eat, he didn't think he'd even be doing that. |
