Kaylane woke up and stretched his wings and put his head in his hands. "Another day in "Paridise."" he said to himself sarcasticly, he hated this demention but no one wanted him in his own demention so he decided to go with the less of to evils. Time to get up and go about his pointless day of laying around playing video games and people watching. he must admit that he loved people watching because humans were so odd in there behaviors. But he spent most of his time in the things they called "Night Clubs" he loved to dance and he was rather good at it and there was plenty of humans to watch when he grew tired of dancing. He dug through the pile of fliers of his bedroom floor he thought that there was a new night club opening up tonight and that was something that he did not want to miss. He finally found the flyer and it was dated for tonight, he went over to his dresser to pick out something deccent to wear.

Jenna yawned as she woke. She had fallen asleep on her couch the night before after coming home from the night club. She stretched her body and fluttered her wings a little to wake them up. She remembered her friend saying something about a new night club opening up. She had decided she was going to go since it had been a while since a new one had opened up. She went to her wardrobe and selected some clothing. She pulled out a strapless, black mini dress. The back was cut very deep and had neon green, corset like strings. There were tiny slits up the sides. She took out a pair of black, lace arm wamers and a pair of black stilletos. She quickly hopped in a shower and back out. She put on her out fit and ran a brush through her hair. Her hair was raven black with a blonde top layer and a few light purple highlights. She put on make up, doing smokey eyes and some shimmery lip gloss.

Kaylane decided to leave early so that he could stop and get food at that little chinese place on the way to the club. he decided on wearing his raggy jeans and a black musle shirt and black and red leather jacket he liked black it complented his jet black hair with crimson streaks in it. He grabbed his keys jumped out the window of his 3rd floor appt stairs were always such a waste of time wings were so much better. Kaylane put his jacket on to cover his wings that had slid easily through the slots in his muscle shirt hopped on his motercycle and made his way to the resturant.

Jenna had decided yesterday that she would meet with her friends at the chinese resturuant. She grabbed her pecial made sweater, it covered her dress because of it's length. She grabbe her purse and walked out of her rom. She headed for the elevator, not really liking the stairs or just flying out of the window. She did enjoy flying though. She opened the door to her simple black car, not really ever having a specific taste for cars. She just purchased what all of her friend's had and claimed was better. She didn't really like the dimension she had been sent into.

She thought that humans were funny creatures, and most of the time pests. All they ever did was stare at her since she had wings. She pulled up on the side of the street. She opened her door and got out, heading into the chinese place, it was always a good idea to eat before going to a night club. She had found this out the hard way. She walked in and sat at a table in the corner, right by the window. The street had full view of everything going on outside, she chose this on purpose so she could watch her car. The waitress came over and she just ordered the special and some rice. She watched out the window, waiting for her order.

Kaylane looked his menu even though he had it memerized, this had to be one of his favorite resturants. He had ended up in a window seat by the door so that he could do some people watching while he ate and could keep an eye on his bike he picked it for its speed and supposed danger he loved going fast. As soon as the waiter got to him he ordered 2 egg rolls and a fried wong tong, his favorite. Kaylane saw girl in the opposite corner than him looking out the window but didn't really pay to much attention to her he would save that for the club girls.

Jenna finally received her order. She thanked the waitress then glanced over at the man in the corner opposite her. She shrugged, there would be plenty of time for that later. Jenna had decided to keep her jacket on as not to draw attention to herself, and just in case if anyone she knew saw her, or if someone saw her that was going to be at the dance later. She wanted to keep it a suprise, everytime there was a club opening she would choose a new outfit that she hadn't warn before. She began to eat some of her rice as she looked out the window once more, noticing that it was starting to get cloudy. Great, rain. she thought as she turned her attention back to her food. She just hoped that the rain wouldn't come until later, after she was done with the dance. Soon she finished her meal and was getting ready to go. She put money down after getting the bill, leaving about five dollars for a tip.

Kaylane sat methodicly chewing his food looking out side thinking about if anyone he knew would be at the new club or not. he didn't really know too many humans but he was sure that there would be someone that he knew there, and if not he could care less. kaylane didn't go to the clubs for talking to humans anyways he always came for the music and dancing and there were always plenty of humans there if he got bored he could usually take his pick if he wanted a female humans attention female humans were always so easy to impress he never had any problems getting what he wanted when he wanted it. He looked at the graying sky hoping that it ment rain he loved seeing the humans scurring to there houses and vehicles every time a little mosture came from the clouds, like they were just going to melt or something. he began to chuckle quietly at this thought.

Jenna waited for the waitress to come and get the money, she didn't know why she did this, she supposed it was just a habit. She looked out the window at rhe sky again, it was sure to rain before she made it to the clud. Oh well, it might be fun to see the humans and the things that they called umbrellas. She never really understood humans and these umbrellas, all that she knew is that they were to keep the human dry... well most of the time. The waitress finally came, she looked at the clock haning up. It was almost six, Wow, time flies.. she thought as she looked at the clock. The club was going to be opening in a bit, she decided she would get there just a bit early. She didn't want to be stuck waiting in line for a whiule, usually with new clubs they were kind of crowded. She stood up and grabbed her bag, heading out the door and into the car. She started it up and headed for the club.

Kalyane's thoughts were interupted when he heard a chair move and he saw that the girl had got up from her table and left he looked at his watch and saw that it was almost 6 already time always flew by when he was in here, he got up already having paid the bill he left a 5 dollar tip on the table and said goodbye to the waitress he knew most of the humans that worked here. He headed out to his motorcyle kick started it smoothly and raced down the street in his pitch black ducati making it through all the lights before they had changed. Kaylane parked his bike on the side of the building stepping off and brushing a piece of flame red hair out of his eyes and started to walk up to the door of the club.

Jenna had pulled a few moments later, she had to stop and get some gas before coming. She hated these cars, they took so much gas. What a waste of money is what she would always say. She then parked by the motorcycle from the chinese resturuant. She wasn't sure if it was the man's that she had seen or if it was someone else's. Not many people came to clubs early. She opened the door and got out. then her suspicions were confirmed, she seen the man from the chinese resturuant. She headed for the door also, it was about six thirty now, the club already opened.

People also usually ate before coming, which seemed to take humans quite a bit of time. She walked inside after shwoing her ID to the guard outside the door. He allowed her in, she looked around as soon as she was in. It was a sweet looking place, better than most of the clubs. She walked to a corner and threw down her bag and took off her jacket. Where ever she put her stuff, everyone seemed to know not to touch it. She then sat, waiting for people to come in.

As Kaylane was getting out his id to show the bouncer at the door he saw the girl from the chinese resurtant walking up to the club. He was let into the club looked around checking out the place it was nicer than most clubs he had been to. He meandered to the DJ booth realizing that he knew the DJ there he started up a conversation about music Kaylane knew every thing there was to know about music, it was his favorite subject and he always made it a point to get to know the DJ's, that way he would always know what kind of music they were planning on playing and Kaylane could decide on what kind of dance moves would go best with it. He saw the girl come into the mostly empty club and trow her stuff down.

Jenna sighed, she wished that people would hurry up and already come. She then looked over to the DJ and seen the man from earlier talking to the DJ. It seemed that they were having a conversation of some sort. She then just relized how bored she felt at the moment. The only thing about arriving to clubs early is that not meany people were here, and if someone was there she usually didn't know them. Then out of the blue one of her (somewhat) friends shows up with her brother. She looked over to the entrance and noticed quite a few people were entering. Her friend's brither asked her if she wanted to dance when things started to pick up. she had shrugged and said sure.

Kaylane didn't even seem to notice the club starting to fill up until the DJ said that he needed to end the conversation because he needed to put his headphones on so he could start the music soon. Kaylane turned around and saw that there were people just pouring into the club. He decided that it was a good time to grab a table before all the good ones were taken, so he jumped off the DJ stand and made his way to one of the only tables that had not been taken he noticed that it was near the girl from the chinese resturant but he saw that she had a few people that she was sitting with so he just sat down and waited for the music to begin.

Jenna had been talking to Racheal and Erin as she waited for the music. When it finally came on she stood up, followed by Erin. "Shall we?" He questioned while smiling, Jenna only nodded. He wrapped his arm around her waste and headed for the dance floor. Racheal had decided to come alone that night without a date so she could dance with different guys. She stood up and walked off towards a group of people. ERin glance over at a group of girls who had been staring at him, he suddenly quit dancing with Jenna and walked over to them.

"Man, he is sucha bad flirt... he can't even finish a dance with me... am I that ugly...." Jenna muttered as she sat down once again. She didn't notice that the man from the chinese resturuant was only a little ways away. She crossed her arms over her chest disapointed. She had thought that Racheal's brother would have been decent, but what could she expect from a guy. A human none the less.

As the music finally started up Kaylane took to the dance floor not bothering to get a dance partner he didn't need one he was good enough by himself. Part of the way through the song he had noticed that the girl from the resurant got abandoned by her partner for a group of hot girls he just shook his head at him how vain human men were the girl was perfectly pretty and a good dancer from what he could tell. he decided to be nice and rescue her from he rejection and give her the honor of dancing with him. So Kaylane made his way over to her table putting his charming smile on. As he approched the girl he said. "It never ceaces to amaze me how stupid men can be sometimes, passing up such a beautiful lady such as yourself."

Jenna couldn't help but blush once she relized what was said, "Well... I uh... yeah, I guess so, and thanks. Human men are suuch jerks sometimes." she muttered the last part. She uncrossed her arms and sat up a little, "Though it is quite embaressing to be rejected right on the dance floor.... especially in the middle of the song and in fromt of alot of people. I guess human men prefer to have many girls hanging on him as if they were sluts, which most are not to mention, than have just one female... who may not be self respecting but, I may say can look alot better in a somewhat of a respectable way." She said with a slight shrug, she wasn't very self respecting she admitted, but she bet she was alot better at quite a bit of things that the "bimbos" as she called them, did.

"Yes human men are after such big amounts of women but they can only have one of them, at least at a time, It is rather unwise to be like that. I my self would rather one quality woman than lots of 'bimbos'as you call them." Kaylane said with a chuckle and a smile taking the girls hand and kissing it politly. "And what is the name of this beauty that I have the pleasure of dancing with?" Kaylane said turning on his charm.

Jenna's blush darkened slgihtly, "... My name's Jenna, and what's yours?" she asked as she stood up, "And don't think you're just going to win me over by complementing me either, if that is what you are trying to do. I know you can do better than that." She said with a small laugh while smiling. She stretched slightly, preparing for the dancing that would soon come. She took a sip of the water that she had brought with her and had stuffed in her bag. She screwed the top back on and waited to go and dance, after learning his name of course.

"My name is Kaylane, and I am not like those human males I know something about how to treat a female." Kaylane said knowing also that he would impress her with his dancing abilities of which would impress anyone. "I don't have to try to impress no one my dear Jenna." Kaylane added slipping his arm lightly around her waist to gently guide her to the dance floor.

Jenna looked up at him, since he was a good few inches taller than she. "Well then, we'll jst have to wait and see... i am not as easy to swoon as some of humam females. and I did not doubt for second that you do not know how to treat a female, the way you came up I think proved that to some extent. As long as you don't quit in the middle of the dance,which i doubt you will, then I suppose you do know how to treat a female."

"No my dear I will never dessert you." Kaylane said staring at her intensly with his dazzleing crimson eyes. He knew that not to many people could resist him and if she could....he'd make sure not for long....Kaylane took her arm and started to lead to the dance floor to begin the wooing.

Jenna smiled as she looked up at him, "Good, because I wouldn't let you anyways..." she said as the music began to pick up more. She glanced over to where Erin had gone in the middle of the first dance. She was just in time to see a blonde pouring her drink all over him. She stifled a giggle and turned her attention back to Kaylane.

"You see there is disadvantages to being a shallow human male, such as you just witnessed with your little friend there. I on the other hand have never had anyone spill a drink on me." Kaylane said while escorting Jenna to the floor smooth and confidently. "How a man could turn down such a rare rose as your self I will never figure, but it seems that you are willing to grace me with your presence and bless me with a dance." Kaylane said knowing he had to be extra charming with this one, he could tell she was different but he couldn't tell why.

Jenna cocked her eyebrow, "A rare rose? I doubt that, there are plenty of girls in here who look much better than me. Atleast I am not a slut and hang all over someone like they do, their looks just read "Desperate. Half the time most of them are rebound girls, just for when a guy is looking for some action. Now, are we going to dance?"

"Yes a rare rose because you are not desperate or slutty you put out an aura of goodness that most men can't see." Kaylane said now speacking the plain truth for once. "Lead the way my dear lady, lead the way."
