He was so relieved knowing Seh'ethil made it out okay, he then took a close look at the creature, "well, it has sharp teeth, so it probably wants to eat us!" He shouted back, grabbing one of his daggers and holding onto the vine with the other, he pulled it back, making his Pterodactyl turn around and fly at the creature, which flew toward Link. With a quick, lightening fast slash, he cut the creature's head off, its body, and head, fell down to the earth afterwards, along with the blood on his dagger. He turned his Pterodactyl back around and caught up with Seh'ethil, "hopefully no more will follow us!" Strangely, after passing the forests and mountains, they caught sight of the ocean, the setting sun made it a brilliant orange color, along with the sky.

However, he didn't bother to admire the beauty, he took a moment to think about what Agahnim could possibly be doing in Hyrule... and to Zelda. He hit his heels against the Pterodactyl, making it fly faster, he wanted to get to Hyrule as quick as possible.

MORBiDUS 01-24-2009 04:42 AM

Seh'ethil followed after Link, flying close by once he caught up - so his words could be heard. "Are you alright, friend?" He asked, although didn't mean it in the physical sense; even without being able to well read his body language in the air, the elf could tell this all was bothering Link. He knew he could never relate to what his friend was feeling, and he would never quite know.

The ocean, despite its tinted beauty, seemed to draw on forever in the distance. It reminded the elf of the sea beast they'd faced, although he wondered if crossing it wouldn't lead them to their destination. He held on tightly to the pterodactyl, not wanting to fall even now, when he might hit water instead of hard ground.

_~Link~_ 01-24-2009 06:00 AM

Sadly, there seemed to be no land in sight as they crossed the ocean, evening turned into late night and the Pterodactyls were exhausted, luckily, he saw some faint green uphead. It was a small, spare island, full of trees, it didn't look to have any animals on it, just plant life, so he decided to land his Pterodactyl for a rest on the island. He tied the vine to a sturdy tree, to make sure it wouldn't fly away over night without him, it was too tired to fly up and get food, so Link kicked a different tree, making all its leaves fall down. It happily ate them, and Seh'ethil's Pterodactyl flew down to join him in the green feast, he tied up Seh'ethil's Pterodactyl for him, "there we go, I'll make a fire." He went inside the small cluster of trees and cut down a spare one, he came back out into the open, dragging the tree behind him over his shoulder.

After a few minutes he had a large fire going, he took a moment to rest afterwards, he listened to the fire crackle and the waves gently flow up against the island's rocky shore. "Are you hungry Seh'ethil?" Link asked him, "maybe theres some fish around this island" He looked over at the water, it seemed unlikely, the only thing full of life was them, the trees and the water itself.

MORBiDUS 01-25-2009 05:17 PM

Seh'ethil didn't mind the fact that they'd made it to solid ground - however small the size of that ground may be, although when he'd gotten off his pterodactyl he'd felt a bit off balanced, having some small difficultly getting used to walking on his own two feet again. The elf sat down in front of Link's fire, eventually folding his arms behind his head and laying back for added comfort.

"I am fine for now," Seh'ethil replied. Food wasn't quite on his mind at the moment, and he didn't want to bother his friend with the task of finding some. He turned his head to watch the pterodactyls, wondering what they thought of this pit stop - if they thought anything.

_~Link~_ 01-25-2009 08:22 PM

He looked over at the pterodactyls too, but they had fallen asleep after eating their meal, it made Link chuckle, "guess they don't mind it at all, huh?" He laughed quietly to Seh'ethil, "well, we should head to bed like them, good night Seh'ethil" he rolled over, facing the opposite way of Seh'ethil and closed his eyes, he wasn't going to fall asleep, he was too worried about Zelda to sleep. When he was sure Seh'ethil had fallen asleep, he sat up, turned around and looked into the fire for a little while, he was sure that the flames had taken on the form of Zelda, so he rubbed his eyes, the flames did nothing but shake and crackle. He shook his head and quietly laughed to himself, "I must be going crazy or something..." He thought, till he heard Zelda's voice faintly.

"Help.... me... Link...." He heard, which made him jump slightly, he looked all around, he was shocked to actually hear her voice, he thought that she thought he was dead. This made him all the more determined to get to Hyrule, so he impatiently waited through the night for Seh'ethil to awaken.

MORBiDUS 01-26-2009 02:26 PM

Seh'ethil had fallen asleep easily and woken up early, brushing dust from the ground off his clothes as he got to his feet. He looked over to the pterodactyls, who'd apparently rose before him, even with the early awakening. They let out a few small squawks amongst themselves, as if talking to each other, or perhaps simply in excitement to stretch their wings once again. The elf turned his gaze next to Link, who was also already awake and ready. There was a sort of urgency in his friend's body language, Seh'ethil could tell. Although it felt as if it represented a determination that hadn't been there so clearly or strongly before, he simply figured Link had, had the night to think things over; it'd be easy to understand why he'd want to save his home.

"Ready to leave?" Seh'ethil asked, quietly, moving over to his pterodactyl. It felt like a pointless question, as it seemed unlikely that Link would not be ready. The archer climbed on the winged beast and shot the bindings that tied it down, allowing it to depart whenever they desired. The pterodactyl, despite eager to rejoin the skies above it, did not fly off even though it was free - instead it waited for command, or others to join it.

_~Link~_ 01-26-2009 08:27 PM

He didn't answer, he just untied his pterodactyl, climbed onto it's back, flew up into the air and headed the same direction as yesterday. He felt a lot closer to Hyrule this time, the Triforce illuminated, as if saying they were almost there, which made him make his pterodactyl fly faster. The ocean was truly immense, their island they spent the night on was completely out of sight, but no land was in front of them to be seen, but he still went forward, determined that land was in fact near them. His patience paid off an hour later, land was out in the distance faintly, seeing the greenery made his pterodactyl fly faster, hungry for breakfast it seemed, he would've fallen off if he didn't hold onto the vine. He looked over at Seh'ethil's pterodactyl, it did the same as his, and Seh'ethil was in the same position as him, holding on desperately to the vine.

Despite their lives in danger, it was actually fun going so fast, and Link uttered a few laughs, land came up closer and closer, which made the pterodactyls slow down, when they finally reached it, they opened their mouthes and caught a beak-full of leaves. They kept it up until there were no more trees in their path, and with full bellies, kept going toward Hyrule even faster than before to catch up on wasted time. They'd still have to travel a few hundred miles inward land to get there, and Link could faintly see Lake Hylia and Gerudo Desert the more they flew toward their destination. "Yes, we're almost there, Seh'ethil!" He shouted to his friend, they were soon flying over the lake, which did not look normal, the water was purple and poisonous, it still flowed from Zora's domain, which made him worry.

"Come on, this way!" Link shouted as he flew to the back of the waterfall, hoping to get a better look at the Zora's home, the way to it seemed destroyed as well, all the rock structures were broken, including the foundation holding it together. Luckily it allowed them a safe passage through, but he was still worried sick about the condition of his Zora companions, they flew into the intersection that separated the water into different channels to be sent all around Hyrule. He landed his pterodactyl on the path that led into Zora's domain, hoping Seh'ethil would do the same, he dismounted and waited for him to get ready before he'd walk in.

MORBiDUS 01-27-2009 01:24 AM

"So this is Hyrule..." Seh'ethil said to himself, he'd since wondered what Link's homeland was like. Although, by the look of things, it wasn't in its prime shape. The elf did not assume the purple tinted water was normal, and he also did not assume Link remembered it this way. Seh'ethil allowed the pterodactyl to take perch beside Link's, jumped off and followed after him. He knew what it meant to see your home destroyed, and if it helped at all to restore or prevent Link's becoming that way, he'd rush in with just as much enthusiasm.

_~Link~_ 01-27-2009 02:17 AM

"I just hope the water isn't like this everywhere" he said as he looked into the fast flowing river, "no way would an evil villain kill all his forced followers with poisonous water, its idiotic" he walked down the path into the domain, expecting all the Zoras to have perished. The domain was just as large and intimidating as the path to it, but the waterfalls were poisonous and it smelt slightly foul, he saw all of the Zoras on land, some weren't moving while others were struggling to hold on to life. One was nearby so he ran to it and he checked her pulse, sadly, she was dead, some of the poisonous water was around her, so he touched it, it burned his finger slightly, so he pulled it back quickly.

He couldn't help but shed a tear over the saddening condition of the Zoran people he once called friends, so he wasted no time in trying to get up to the royal throne room. "Seh'ethil, climb on my back, we need to get up there, and theres no other way" once Seh'ethil did as he was told, he jumped across all the rocks that led him to the top, he ran into the throne room, without even letting Seh'ethil down. But when he entered and saw King Ralis, the former prince, unconscious or possibly dead in his throne, he dropped Seh'ethil and ran to the King's side. "King Ralis!" He shouted, checking his pulse, luckily, he was still alive, so Link wasted no time in picking up King Ralis.

"Midna, help Seh'ethil down, we need to get King Ralis somewhere safe and poison free" Midna appeared by Seh'ethil's side, "okay Link!" She replied, using her magic to make Seh'ethil float, they all left the domain shortly after, mounting their pterodactyls and flying off to find a clean water source. Halfway past Lake Hylia, the water was clear and pollution free, but the river flowed too fast for the King to handle in his weakened state, so Link kept flying, hoping to find a spirit spring. They flew over Hyrule field, even so high in the sky, he could see monsters traveling through the field, all of the once green plant life was dead and dry, it was truly a depressing sight.

He flew over his former home, Ordon village, which looked normal, except everything looked lifeless, but people were still there, as he sensed life. He flew a little more till the spring was in clear sight, so he landed his pterodactyl but its edge, the water was fresh and healthy, thanks to the light spirit that lived within it, so he ran to the back of it and jumped into the pool of water with Ralis. He stayed under for a while, and soon, Ralis opened his eyes and breathed in fresh oxygen through his gills.

Link rose back up with Ralis and jumped off the ledge into the larger, shallower pool and ran over to Seh'ethil, he let Ralis down. "Who... who are you both?" Ralis asked them, still a bit weak, "your highness... its me, Link, this is my friend, Seh'ethil, we've come to save you, your people, and all of Hyrule from Agahnim." Ralis thought he heard wrong, "no... you can't be the Link I know... the Link I know died over two years ago, that was before the day Agahnim attacked Hyrule and took it over in such a short time. Explain yourselves to me, then I may believe you." Link was expecting such a thing, but he decided to let Seh'ethil speak first.

MORBiDUS 01-27-2009 03:07 AM

Seh'ethil saw the beautiful fish-like beings and cringed slightly realizing the death that surrounded them, wishing it wasn't so. He'd never seen them prosperous or filled with life like Link had, yet it still made him sick to see them void of life.

When the two reached the throne room he felt even more loss at seeing the apparent king lying there. He realized Link and the king had obviously been allies or friends, if not both, previously, and thinking about how this must have been affecting Link made it all the worse. As Link ran up to the Zora king, the elf prayed that he might still be alive, not wanting to comprehend another of the fish people was deceased - especially not one that seemed to hold such importance and significance to his friend.

Seh'ethil stayed quiet for the entire of the search for fresh water, taking in the destruction of the surrounding area. It brought its own sadness, as well as unwanted memories. The elf was relieved - or as relieved as you could be in such a place and situation, when Ralis came to, apparently having been able to recover with the spring's assistance. When the Zora king requested a explanation, Seh'ethil just shook his head. He realized that Link's old friends would have trouble recognizing him and believing him, but he still found it hard to excuse that. "Show him the triforce.." Seh'ethil suggested, wondering if that wouldn't prove something. He had nothing to say for himself, and having not known Ralis or Link before, didn't know what he could say to convince the king. He wanted to say, though, that this wasn't the time to be doubting someone's identity during such a crisis, but couldn't bring himself to mouth such a rude statement.

_~Link~_ 01-27-2009 03:32 AM

Link did as Seh'ethil mentioned, he removed his glove and made the Triforce glow, to prove he was in fact the hero and friend Ralis knew. "No..." said Ralis hesitantly, he stepped back a bit from shock, "its like you're back from the grave, Link... I'm sorry to have doubted you, my friend." Link put his hand on Ralis's shoulder, "theres no need to say sorry Ralis, its alright, also I swear that I won't quit until Agahnim is gone from Hyrule forever, he shall die by my hand and nothing will stand in my way till everything is back to normal." Ralis gave Link a smile, but he quickly frowned, remembering the situation of his people, it made him shed a tear, "I almost gave up hope in ever living in peace again, then I almost lost my life... I thank you."

"Don't thank me just yet, we still need to get you someplace safe, possibly Kakariko Village, quickly, climb on" Link said as he urged Ralis to climb onto the pterodactyl, he needed some assistance due to his still short stature, then Link climbed on. "Come on Seh'ethil" Link said as they both flew off toward Kakariko. As Link got closer to the village, he could sense a large abundance of life, possibly people from Castle Town, rescued Zoras or even... his own friends from Ordon. So he landed near the spirit spring within the village, helped Ralis down and climbed off himself, the houses were still standing, thankfully, and people were hiding inside them, he could sense it.

He knocked on the door of Renado's house, the shaman of Kakariko, but no one answered, so he opened the door and looked inside, no one was around, but the basement entrance was open. "Come on you two" Link said to Ralis and Seh'ethil as he climbed down the rope ladder into the basement.

MORBiDUS 01-28-2009 05:47 AM

Seh'ethil felt a bit unnerved in this town, although for some reason - or perhaps just for his trust in Link, he did not second guess going into a strange house and entering its basement. The elf let Ralis go down the ladder before him, after Link. Once Ralis had made it far enough down, the archer took one last look around, and started his descent down himself. When Seh'ethil made it to the bottom after Link and the Zora, he took a few seconds to let his eyes adjust. Although Link had come here acting as though it was, without a doubt, a safe haven, he couldn't help but keep his hands near his bow.

"What sort of place is this?" Seh'ethil asked, softly, feeling the basement to be designed oddly; not that he'd really seen many to compare to. Although that wasn't quite his main concern, and he kept his voice down in a way he might as well have only been asking himself.

_~Link~_ 01-28-2009 06:20 AM

"Its a very long story, right now would be a bad time to explain it fully, but trust me, I sense no danger here, just people, now come on." As he walked down the narrow hall into the main chamber of the basement, he was almost sliced by someone swinging a sword, so he pushed back Ralis and Seh'ethil as he quickly stepped out of the way. When he took a closer look at the attacker, it was Colin, only he was taller and had longer hair, "who are you?!" He shouted as he ran up to attack Link once more, but Link stopped his sword with a sharp kick and it flew to the other side of the room. "Colin, its me! Link! Don't you recognize my voice?" Colin grew more angry and growled, "liar! You're a part of Agahnim's followers, you're not Link! How dare you lie to me!" He ran to get his sword, but Link grabbed him by the shirt and lifted him up before he could turn away.

"Let me go!" He demanded as he struggled, "Colin!" Link shouted at him, "who saved you from King Bulbin and was practically your rolemodel?" Colin stopped struggling and grew surprised, "Link... but... how did you know that?" He asked, Link let Colin back down, "its because I am Link, your friend, can't you see the honesty in my eyes?" Colin focused and saw a vision of Link, alive before him, "...Link?" He asked once more, almost crying, "yes..." Link said, he gave Colin a hug and Colin returned it, sobbing a bit and gasping inbetween them. "Is everyone else from Ordon here?" Link asked as he stopped the hug, Colin nodded his head as he wiped away the tears, he edged him to a cave entrance and ran inside it.

He turned to Seh'ethil and Ralis, wondering how they felt about the whole situation, "well, lets go, you can meet all my old friends Seh'ethil" he ran inside the cave.

MORBiDUS 01-30-2009 04:54 AM

Seh'ethil, having had Ralis bump into him when Link pushed him back, hadn't yet drawn his bow. He would have been swift to if he hadn't noticed Link seemed to have the situation under control. It was also because it was soon apparent that whoever this was, Link knew them, and anyone who was a friend of Link's was not someone the elf wanted to bring harm to. The archer paid attention to this short reunion between the two, if only to figure out exactly what was going on. He knew he'd be slightly puzzled for the time being, but it was not something that bothered him.

"Yes," Seh'ethil replied, nodding his head. He'd looked forward to meeting Links friends, but wished it wasn't in a situation like this. A different time, a different place. He followed after Colin and Link, looking back only to make sure Ralis was coming with them too. Seh'ethil had wondered what Link's friends would be like, as he seemed to make very dear, and loyal ones. Yet despite these curiosities, he also knew Link had to get down to the root of things, to help those friends and save Hyrule. And the elf would be there to help him.

_~Link~_ 01-30-2009 06:20 AM

Ralis had followed behind them, but he had grabbed Colin's sword just before to return it to him, the cave was gigantic, it was where the Sky Cannon was once located until Link had taken it to get repaired so he could reach the City in the Sky. When he looked around, he, Seh'ethil and Ralis were noticed by everybody. Colin, Beth, Talo, Malo and Ilia from Ordon, Luda, Renado's daughter, Telma, the Castle town's bar owner along with her friends, Shad, Auru and Ashei. Agitha, also from Castle Town, along with the doctor Borville.

"That is Link?" Ilia muttered, backing from him a bit due to fear, "yes... I am Link, but you want more proof, huh?" He asked, she nodded her head, still afraid, he sighed, "hold on one moment" he ran out of the room and started to change his clothes, he had his old outfit from Ordon in his item bag so he changed into it. A few minutes later he came back in the room, wearing his Ordon clothes, the only difference was his skin, hair color, eyes and his belt with his weapons attached.

"You are Link!" Ilia said, sounding more relieved, "I can now recognize you..." she walked up to him, placing her hand on his face, "where did you go if you've been alive this whole time?" She asked him, breaking into tears, "it doesn't matter anymore..." He held her hands and then gave her a hug, "I'm home now, and I'll save you all, I promise." She returned the hug, but she let him go soon after, "you feel so cold, Link, what happened to you?" Link frowned at looked at the ground, "I'll tell you later, when Agahnim is gone, now, don't cry" he wiped away a tear from her face, "thats no way to greet me on my return home." He took a closer look around, but saw no one else besides his already mentioned friends.

"Colin," he walked over to him, "I thought you said everyone from Ordon was here, where are your parents and younger sister?" Colin did his best to not cry, "they were taken by Agahnim, almost everyone was imprisoned, all the people you see now are some of the lucky few that escaped from the soldiers at Castle town. But, I don't know what happened to my baby sister after she was taken by Agahnim..."

"Its been a while, Link" Telma finally spoke up, "but what Colin says is true, we've been living here ever since you disappeared, its been a rough time for us all, having to constantly fight the monsters that attack us from the fields to survive. But, thanks to my friends, we've managed to live this long, if you plan to stay here for now theres enough beds for us and all three of you here, along with plenty of food between us, thanks to the brave Gorons who went into Castle town and brought the food from my bar."

"Thank you Telma, I appreciate it very much, but I have no need to eat or sleep, you can take care of King Ralis and Seh'ethil though, he almost died again, but we saved him." Doctor Borville took a close look at Ralis, who had given back Colin's sword shortly before, "hmm, he appears to be fine, but he'd better rest for now, time for some sleep young man."

"No, really, I feel fi-" he was interrupted by Borville pushing him towards his bed, "nonsense! You'll need as much rest as possible, who knows if more monsters will show up." Telma had turned her attention towards Seh'ethil, "Link, how about we hear about your friend, since he'll be spending some time here in Hyrule, we might as well get to know him." She edged him over to one of the chairs near the tables they'd sit at to eat, "please, sit down Seh'ethil, and tell us a bit more about yourself."

((Ugh, double post...

MORBiDUS 10-30-2009 05:38 AM

The overabundance of disbeliefs, new faces and old memories was a lot for the elf to grasp, although he was beginning to get used to knowing he'd find out things as they came. Seh'ethil heard them speak of friends and family who'd been captured, and knew instantly it meant Link intended to do all in his power to free them. Links new, or rather old clothes were an interesting sight, one that apparently gave his old friends the familiarity they had needed.

After all the on-looking the spotlight had quickly turned around on the elf, as Link's friends -- the archer's new acquaintances - decided to inquire a little more about him. He took the seat he was offered, although was a little hesitant in explaining his own situation or background. He brushed a white strand of loose hair from his face, settled himself into the chair.

"Theres not much to make mention of," Seh'ethil admitted, although not wanting to be rude, would go on. The purple-tinged elf felt slightly indifferent with his race, although it seemed Hyrule entertained an interesting variety of creatures; the Zoras being one, up until just recently, he hadn't come in contact with before. "I'm but an archer whose come to assist Link." -- And since Link was to help his friends, in turn, the dark elf would be here to help them as well. He pulled his chair forward a little, as if somehow changing its position could make a difference, glanced around the room for another look at all of the new faces. It was clear the recent events had taken their toll on everyone, stress and worry clear in their expressions, even when they didn't intend to show it.

_~Link~_ 10-30-2009 08:51 PM

Everyone had settled down at the table to listen to Seh'ethil's story, though there wasn't much to hear, Link stood by his friend's side, placing his hand on his shoulder, "if it wasn't for Seh'ethil's support, I may have never come back home, I would have remained unaware of the dangers Agahnim was causing until it would have been too late. We shall make up for any damages that happened, swear it" said Link, determination in his words, it seemed to uplift the rather depressed moods amongst everyone, they smiled, especially the children. "We know you shall not fail us, from your actions in the past Link and how your new friend made such an impact on you, we feel no doubt at all" Shad spoke out, everyone nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, you can do it! Prove to Agahnim how great you are with swords, like you did for Malo, Beth and me!" Talo said excitedly, Malo looked at his brother then over at Seh'ethil and Link "you better not let us down, especially you Link." Malo said sternly, he never was very upbeat and cheerful like his brother, but in such a situation, who really would be? "Please, save our parents Link, I want everything to go back the way things were before!" Beth said, trying to not cry, Colin placed his hand upon Beth's shoulder, she looked at Colin and seemed to calm down a bit. "Don't worry Beth, they can fix everything" Colin looked over at the two heros, "good luck Link, don't worry about us when you leave, everyone will be safe."

Link felt much better with all of his friend's support, he nodded firmly and smiled, "of course, everything will be alright... come on Seh'ethil, I need to stop over at my house really quick before we go any further." Link offered Seh'ethil his hand, "oh, Link!" Telma said to get his attention, "if you need anything, our Goron friends above in the village can help you." Link nodded, "thank you Telma, please take care of the children, though from how long I've been gone you've probably done that the whole time." Telma smiled gently and gave Link a hug, "don't worry dear, just get moving, the faster you get going the faster Agahnim will finally die and peace will return."

Link returned the hug slightly, a bit awkward, "yes Telma, very well, come on Seh'ethil" Telma ended up giving Seh'ethil a hug, she was a motherly figure, "good luck to you too Seh'ethil, we don't know anything about you, but I can tell you'll be a great asset in the fight against Agahnim." She let Seh'ethil go, "we'll see you both real soon and we'll celebrate at my bar for your victory" it was rather hard to leave his friends behind, but Link knew they'd be fine, they lived this long without him after all. "Come along Seh'ethil, we have a big, tiring day ahead of us" Link took a few steps toward the exit but stopped and turned to see if Seh'ethil was following.

MORBiDUS 11-01-2009 09:47 AM

The elf found some comfort in the rallying support of Link's friends, only wished they could have done something sooner -- prevented this from happening over after to fix it. It was not, however, something that was foreseeable, it would have been impossible to prevent events you had no part in, knew nothing of. Added, there was no point in crying over spilled milk, per se.

Seh'ethil took Link's offered hand and helped himself up from his chair with it, let it go once he had. He wanted to reassure them all everything would be okay, but felt it not his place, nor necessary - it was as if Link's presence alone had brought hope to them. The archer seemed a little surprised as Telma hugged him, barely able to do the same, not intentionally, although from the slight shock of it. In the end, he appreciated the gesture. "Thank you, I'll look forward to seeing you all again.." He paused as they bid them farewell, tagged after Link as he was waiting.

Once they'd left the group he looked towards Link, wondered what he had in mind. "Will your house still be.. around..?" He asked, quietly, not wanting to suggest anything might have happened to it.

_~Link~_ 11-01-2009 09:29 PM

"I'm not sure Seh'ethil, when we flew over my home village, I didn't get a good look at where my house was, but surly its still standing... it has to be, within it I kept something very important to me. I had to leave it behind since I no longer felt worthy enough of it, but today, it is necessary I retrieve it." Link said as he and Seh'ethil left the basement, climbed back out and headed outside over to their pterodactyls patiently waiting for their masters to return and drinking some of the spring water to quench their thirsts. Link mounted his pterodactyl and waited for Seh'ethil to do the same, "lets waste no time my friend!" Pretty soon Link was flying off toward his house, his new change of wardrobe was very breezy, it made him shiver in the cold wind blowing past as he flew.

It was a bit surprising that he felt cold, when on the icy mountain with Yeto he was fine, maybe he really is slowly losing his immortal like ability or perhaps its all in his head. Soon Ordon came faintly into view, turning to the right quickly they slowly flew down and landed just outside Link's house, it was still intact, which made Link sigh with relief, he dismounted and walk toward the ladder up to his house but he stopped, he sensed life within his house. "Seh'ethil, don't move" Link said, almost in a whisper, "theres someone in my house... I'm going to take care of it, wait here" Link wielded his sword and jumped up, landing on his porch. He leaned into the door to hear if anything was moving inside, he heard gurgling and growling, it was almost familiar, it made him grow angry.

He no longer cared about trying to be sneaky, he kicked the door open quickly, almost kicking it off its hinges, within the house were Bulbins who quickly noticed Link in their confused grunts and reared to fight. Link charged in and soon you could hear sword slashing and Link's shouts, you couldn't see the action due to the darkness in the house, soon Bulbins were flying out the door with painful screeches and shouts. They landed in a pile on top of each other in front of Seh'ethil, injured, not dead just yet, Link stepped out of the door way and into the open. "Okay Seh'ethil, its safe to come in now... I think these monsters, bulbins, drove my friends out of their homes for themselves and took over mine as well, I just hope what I came for is still here."

Link stepped back into the darkness of his home, waiting for Seh'ethil before he'd head into the basement.

Seh'ethil followed up and out from the basement where Link's friends kept, hurried back over to the prehistoric creatures they'd rode here. He didn't have any comment towards Link's response to his own question, although could only hope the same.

As they flew towards their destination the archer hadn't noticed Link's discomfort in the cold - certainly, he wouldn't have expected it. His eyes were pinned on the scenery down below, the height apparently not giving him too much trouble as he admired things. Once they'd arrived the elf looked over the outside of Link's house, its tree-fort like appearance being one he was fond of. All of his appreciation for the looks of things would come to a stand-still, however, as Link informed him of the apparent danger that lurked nearby.

Seh'ethil nodded his head and stayed outside as Link had said, although his fingers itched for his bow and when he heard all the commotion from inside of his friend's old house, he wanted nothing more than to climb up there and help him out. Not moments later - moments that felt like eons to the archer, he was being proved Link needed no assistance. The intruders flew from the opening and onto the ground not far from Seh'ethil. This time he'd grabbed his bow and arrow and was ready to shoot if any of them got back up. Link's return to the opening above the house caused him to refrain any worry, however.

"Are you sure we should just leave them here?" He asked. "Alive?" It echoed as he climbed up the latter and followed Link into his house, not sure if he'd even heard him asking. Following Link towards the basement he noticed it to be eerily darker than the rest of the house - he should have assumed. The elf was able to make out enough in the dark, and so he was ready to go down and see what it was Link was looking for. With any luck, what Link was looking for would be there, and Seh'ethil could only wait and be curious of what it could be if it was.

"Its alright Seh'ethil, they'll die by their injuries alone, right now I just wanted them out, I don't care about finishing them off." Link began searching his home for any sort of candle or lantern, he found a lantern upon the floor due to him tripping on it, he picked it up and it ignited almost instantly, filling the house with light. Right off the bat you could see the mess that was made, all of Link's furniture was either broken to pieces or just piled on the floor, the ladder that led up to the top floor where he slept was destroyed. There were holes in the floor near the walls, it was just awful, Link looked down at the ground and had a small gasp, leaning down to pick up a broken picture frame he almost stepped on, glass all over the floor.

The picture contained everyone from Ordon huddled together for a group photo, back when Hyrule was normal and they were all like one big happy family before Link started his quest and died just as it ended. Link sighed and removed the picture from the broken frame, folding it up and placing it in one of the bags on his belt, he then attached the lantern to his belt and headed for the basement. Luckily the ladder to the basement was still intact, he wasted no time in climbing down and then hopping off it near the bottom, there were faint beams of light going through the cracks in the wood above. Thanks to the lantern the whole basement was lit up, on the far end across Link hanging off the wall was what he came for, the Hero's Clothes, only, there was a large rip in the chest where his wound is.

Link stepped closer, getting a better look at the outfit, his blood stained the clothes from his wound down, but he didn't care, he quickly grabbed the hat and clothes, putting the hat on and making sure it stayed in place. He turned back to Seh'ethil, dropping his serious feelings a bit and looking a bit embarrassed, "heh, I'm sorry Seh'ethil, can you head back up a sec? I'll be back up once I change." He gave Seh'ethil the lantern and waited for him to head back up.

Seh'ethil had some feeling that Link hadn't left his home in this sort of condition, gave him his silent condolences for the wrecked state of his house. When Link had ignited the lantern the elf was forced to cover his eyes with the length of his arm, the unexpected change in lighting being slightly painful. Quickly adjusting to it, the archer followed Link, nearly losing his footing on the last couple steps of the ladder -- his own clumsiness.

The archer looked on curiosity, realizing after Link had set the hat on himself he intended to wear the bloodied tunic that'd been there. "Uh.. oh, yeah.." Seh'ethil responded, taking the lantern and quickly turning away to climb back up the ladder. The elf left the lantern near the top of the ladder so it might still provide Link with some light, but turned his back to the basement opening to allow his friend his privacy. He could hear the last of the groans of the bublin outside, as their wounds consumed what life they had left. Or at least, some of them.

"Do you plan to stay here, Link?" The elf questioned, stating it loud enough he'd be heard from the distance. Undoubtedly, he'd meant once things had been restored to their former state. He wanted to know if the wandering hero would chose to again settle in his home town. As he waited for Link to finish changing, he pushed a piece of broken furnishings to the side with the tip of his foot.

"Thank you" Link said as Seh'ethil left with a smile, he began to change, in the middle of it he heard Seh'ethil asked if Link would stay in Hyrule once everything was normal, it was unanimous "of course, Seh'ethil, I left once, seeing some of my home and its horrid condition made me want to stay, I want to fix the mess I should have stayed to fix long ago, I was a selfish fool to have left my loved ones behind in the first place..." Link had finished changing but before he headed up, he searched around his basement for the hylian shield he left behind as well, finding it behind a pile of broken wood, he placed it on his back, then left his sword behind, he wouldn't need it and then began to head back up to Seh'ethil.

Link picked up the lantern and placed it on his belt once more, he then looked over at Seh'ethil, wondering how he felt about his strange get-up, "I'm wondering Seh'ethil... once we're all done at cleaning up Hyrule, will you stay with my friends in Ordon? We can fix my house up and live together... for as long as I'll live, who knows when my life force will be taken away." He looked at the back of his hand and frowned, but he shook his head and tried to stay positive in their dark times, "answer quickly please friend, we have one last stop before we can go to Hyrule castle. I'm sorry to keep dragging you everywhere..."

Link frowned, feeling a bit guilty inside, but he patiently waited for Seh'ethil's response before they'd leave.

Link's response brought a small, heart warming smile to the archer's face. Link belonged here, with his friends, even though it'd mean an end to this adventure. Seh'ethil knew it wasn't over yet, knew they had a hard task at hand they'd need to complete before either could really think about settling down. He heard the question returned and mixed feelings came over him. He hadn't thought about staying, himself.

"You'll be around a long time," The elf replied, reassuringly. He'd avoided answering the other part of what Link had mentioned, not because he didn't want to, but he didn't know. "Don't apologize, Link, you speak like I've had something better to do this entire time." Seh'ethil smiled to counter the hero's frown, started outside before him so they could continue towards the next pit stop before the castle. Any fear of the upcoming events hadn't quite hit the archer yet, although, fear wasn't something you could do anything of but make the most of when it did strike.

Link gave Seh'ethil a smile, he felt better hearing such words from his friend, the lantern's light faded as Link started to head out after Seh'ethil, but his shadow flew into the air, taking on Midna's form, she let out a yawn and stretched. "I'm sorry Link, I took too long a rest.." she took a quick look around "wow, way too long!" Link chuckled, "its alright Midna, nothing truly happened that needed your assistance after King Ralis, but since you're here, can you please stay? Seh'ethil and I will need your help more than ever from this point on." Midna smiled kindly, "very well Link, I'll stay." Link smiled back, "thank you, lets go, we need to retrieve the master sword to win this fight" soon they were both outside and caught up to Seh'ethil.

Midna couldn't help but notice the pile of bulbins outside Link's house, but her curiosity faded once Link mounted on the pterodactyl, she quickly floated over to his side as he began to fly off toward Faron woods. Passing over the woods, Link spotted the forest temple where his adventure began, it was a sign they were getting closer, soon, completely different forestry was underneath them, the sacred woods were still alive and healthy, it made me feel relief. Seeing a giant stone door underneath them and the statues, as well as the place with the master sword Link soon began landing. Stopping on the giant Triforce symbol covered in thick moss, he dismounted and waited for Seh'ethil to join Midna and him.

"I never thought we'd be back here once more Link.." Midna said, surprised that everything was still the same as before, but covered in moss and plants. "Me too Midna, me too.." Link replied, staring at the ground, he brushed away from moss with his foot, to reveal the symbol as he waited.
