Seh'ethil had just killed another enemy soldier as he heard the screams, standing out amongst all the cries of the others on the battlefield. He hadn't been able to look back as he was forced into combat by another knight, quickly taking care of him with an arrow to his armored head. As the ground began to shake underneath him the elven archer couldn't help but to turn back, only to be stunned by what he saw. He assumed the giant warrior to be Link, although found it easier to believe only because what he saw looked much more like the mask he'd given Link, over Link as he knew him.
The elf nearly dropped his bow as the rest of the army made way, speechless. The attack Link unleashed on the enemy was extravagant, and even when the rest of their army advanced on the retreating enemy, Seh'ethil still sat still on his horse, quite amazed. Eventually though, snapping out of his daze, the elf rode up with the rest of the horse riding archers, shooting at the fleeing army.
As a castle appeared in the distance, and their army flooded towards it, it was clear the enemy was going to lose. But what Seh'ethil saw as he made it passed their border walls forced him to stop fighting. The kingdom they were now destroying was much similar to the one they'd been fighting for, family's fleeing from the war, children being caught up in the conflict that they had no say in. The elf ended up shooting and killing some of their own army men he'd just been fighting beside, as they threatened the life of two young children. He picked the crying children up from the ground, lifting them onto his horse, giving them a place in front of him so they might both be safe and not fall off.
"Stop it!" He shouted, having to kill another one of his own army men, as they terrorized a peasant family. The family took one look at the elf and gave a small thank-you, although they were too afraid of him, as they understood he was part of the opposing forces, so they ran off. Seh'ethil ended up following them to a underground shelter that many of the civilians had taken cover in, dropping the children he'd previously picked up off there. Seh'ethil took some time to protect the shelter, the men from the kingdom they had just come from shouting out in shock that someone wearing their own crest was fighting them off. "Blasphemy!" One wailed, before an arrow struck through his chest plate.
A few other of the knights began to understand the elf's cause, and came up to join him. "We have families back at home, too... Let us help," One of the knights offered, his sword up raised as he fought along beside Seh'ethil against any of his own men that threatened those they were protecting. The elven archer smiled, knowing these men could hold their own ground. "I'll be back!" He shouted, riding off to find the warrior from before, whom he assumed to be Link. Seh'ethil felt that he had to show him that this wasn't right, as from the attack he saw before, he realized his friend could take out the entire town in one swipe if he wished it.

Despite his power, he still had free will, he would not harm the innocent civilians, and actually helped Seh'ethil by stopping his soldiers from killing residents. If it continued like this he would have to kill all his army partners, "don't kill the villagers!" He would shout, no one would listen, he then stomped the ground with all his strength, shaking buildings and making people jump in the air. It didn't seem to stop the soldiers from trying to storm the castle, and they broke through the enemy defenses, finally gaining entrance to the castle. There were only the village residents around since all the soldiers started to fight in the castle.
He ran after his fellow soldiers to see what was about to happen, shaking the earth with every step, he felt that something was up. Perhaps they aren't the enemy... Link and his army are. He rushed to the throne room, there were dead soldiers, some were his kingdom's and some were the others, but the king and queen weren't there. He heard sword fighting up the stairs to the royal bedrooms so he followed the sounds, when he got there he found his soldiers holding the king, queen and prince hostage. The soldier who recommended Link and Seh'ethil to join his army was holding a knife to the king's throat, "surrender or die!" He threatened the king, certainly not paying attention to Oni Link in the doorway.
"Daddy... I'm scared!" Cried his son, the queen tried to hug her son and comfort him to calm him down but she was pulled backwards by her hair from another soldier. Link couldn't take it anymore and barged in, ready to kill his soldiers, "I demand an explanation, who is the enemy here?! Them or us?!" He shouted, pointing his sword at the soldier holding the knife to the king's throat. "Who the heck are you...?" He said smugly, but he took a look at Link's face, "is that you kid...?" He asked, but Link didn't answer, "who is the enemy here?!" He asked once more.
The soldier let the king go and two others went in his place, "we are..." he replied sadly, "our king ordered us to attack the other kingdom and take it over..." Link knew he wasn't lying in the amount of emotion he displayed, "we didn't want to do it" the soldier continued, "it was a pointless war we all thought, but he is our king. We must follow his orders no matter how irrational. I'm sorry I dragged you and your friend into this kid..." Link calmed down and put his sword down to his side, "you were dragged into this way before me and Seh'ethi, but I know what we should do, overthrow our own king. A power hungry man like him is not fit to rule a kingdom."
The other soldiers agreed with him, letting the king, queen and prince go and leaving the castle with Link behind them, he'd head back and fix the damage done later.

Seh'ethil rode through the town before being stopped by a mob of some of the villagers, apparently rebelling and fighting their own against the intruding army. When they saw him, they were enraged. "Stop there, archer!" The mob leader roared. They didn't understand that for now, Seh'ethil was on their side.
One of them pushed his horse back by jabbing at it with a pitchfork, but the elf took back his ground. "I'm on your side!" He yelled, trying to convince them. Of course, they didn't believe him, and they were far too angry to rationally except anything Seh'ethil could say in attempts to persuade them. "Yeah, right! That lions crest on your back, it's the sign of those scum!" One of them shouted in return, talking about the other kingdom's symbol of choice. The elf was forced back quite a ways, and even almost struck at, before one of the men that'd been hiding in the underground shelter came running up.
"No! Stop! He's helping us! He saved my boys," The man said, feeling as if in debt to Seh'ethil for having saved his children earlier. The mob stopped and back up slowly, accepting word from one of their own, trusted towns people. They cleared a bath so that the archer could go on his way, but they did it quite resentfully, still glaring at him with distrust as he passed through.
The elf road on. "Link!" Seh'ethil called, seeing the giant warrior he assumed to be his friend leave the castle, soldiers with him. He called his horse to a close halt in front of them, seeing what Link had to say.

"Seh'ethil!" Link shouted, pushing his way through the soldiers to meet up with his friend, "I have some news," he explained, "we're the enemy, not them... our king is a power hungry monster, he wanted to take over and enslave this kingdom for his own desire. But I convinced the remaining soldiers otherwise, we're going to head back and fight to the very end to stop our king." He started to run back to the field with his soldiers and opposite kingdom ones following behind him, some stumbling due to Link's steps shaking the ground but they kept following.
When he reached the field he noticed all of the dead bodies around and the giant gash in the earth he created, he felt sick inside, he was on the enemy's side the whole time. He could see the castle in the distance, smoke was rising into the sky so someone was setting everything on fire, thankfully the village was unharmed. As he got closer to the castle he could see the damage from the fire, some soldiers were burned alive, unfortunately their armor was melting so he couldn't see if they were the good or bad soldiers. As he entered the throne room he heard someone get stabbed, the scream of pain was a sure sign, despite the smoke all around the room he could make out a silhouette of a crown, the king had killed his own soldiers.
When he came in full view, escaping the cover of smoke he could see an evil aura around the king, his eyes were red, he was being controlled by a dark spirit. Using the same method on Maseinko he managed to pull out the dark spirit, making the king fall down unconscious, using the Triforce combined with Oni Link's power he managed to destroy the spirit. He picked up the king in his arms and ran outside to save him from his burning castle, when he was finally safe he ran back to the castle to find any other survivors. Unfortunately no one else was alive, even the queen and prince were killed, he saved them anyway, hoping to give them a proper burial. Thankfully when he made it outside, with the queen and prince's bodies in his arms, rain began to fall, helping to put out the fires.

Seh'ethil nodded, taking in the news, glad to realize that there was some reason left in everyone still. Yet, the elf had to stay behind and help do away with any remaining soldiers who still refused to join their cause, as well as inform others to go help Link with their rebellion.
The information spread like wild fire amongst the town and soldiers, and satisfied, Seh'ethil rode back to the kingdom he'd first been fighting for. He could see smoke billowing into the air from the distance, and as he came closer to the castle, rain began to pour down.
Coming to a quick conclusion the elf was forced to convince the soldiers not to kill the body of the king which Link had saved from the fire. Not knowing about the evil spirit, Seh'ethil was almost as resentful to the king as they were, but if he had been left alive thus far; there was no reason to spill his blood yet. When the elven archer saw Link with the bodies of the queen and prince he dismounted his horse, running over.
"Why haven't you killed him yet?" The elf asked, referring to the king. He assumed his friend had fair reason, and knowing he was good of heart, wouldn't question any answer he gave. Seh'ethil was having trouble getting used to Link's new form, still not having had time to fully piece together that the mask had given him this sort of power.
The soldiers began to group together, slowly mourning and paying tribute to those lost and dead, and those they'd unrightfully killed. Their anger towards their own kingdom was slowly dissipating, as if it was washed away with their sorrows from the rain. It was only sparked again as the king became conscious, getting up slowly, still dazed and confused from the events that'd previously taken place, and that which he saw around him. Before any of his knights had time to take out their rage on their awakening king, he ran over to his wife and son; the queen and prince, and cried out for his loss.

Link started to take the mask off and in a bright flash of light he returned to his normal form, but he fell to the ground from exhaustion, if he used it any longer he would've surly passed out for who knows how long. He slowly got back up to his feet, coughing occasionally like he was suffocated, "I'll..." he tried to say, coughing again, "I'll explain later, but... I have a good reason."
After his coughing passed the rain started to stop, the fires were put out, but the stench of death was in the air, it was rather unbearable. But Link tried to ignore it, he had to ask the king a few questions, "sir, please, I understand your loss..." he said, trying to get the king's attention, "but we need to know... what on earth happened?" The king, gasping and sobbing, tried to calm down to at least say something, "I could see everything... everything that happened! I couldn't control myself... that spirit made me kill everyone, including my wife and son!" He broke out into tears again, holding his wife in his arms, "Amelia, Jacob, I'm so sorry!" He cried, the king didn't seem very evil so that spirit was the culprit all along.
"Do you remember Maseinko, Seh'ethil?" Link asked him, "well..." he pointed at the king, trying to say the same thing happened to him. He helped the king up and he tried to calm him down, "don't worry sir, we'll give your wife and son a proper burial, at least make them happy in the after life." The king wiped away his tears and nodded in response, he was still very upset.

Seh'ethil felt a bit more reassured as Link took off the mask, but also became concerned for him as he coughed, apparently weakened by the mask's power. The elf was still taken aback by the mask's enchantment.
"Yeah..." The elven archer said, thinking back to the wolves. Everything was beginning to make more sense. Seh'ethil turned to the crowd of soldiers, then walked up to the distressed king, as there were urgent matters to discuss, even with his loss. "Your majesty.." He started, keeping his voice low and staying close so that the king was the only one to hear what he was saying. "..Your people, as well as those of the neighboring kingdom have also lost a lot. And its feared they're blaming you, you have to explain matters to them.. Even if those actions were out of your control, you have to ask their forgiveness."
The King, understanding his duty and already knowing this was necessary far before Seh'ethil had reminded him, stood forward to the crowd. He began to explain the dilemma as best he could without giving too much away, and proceeded by offering promises of ways to make up all that'd happened, and peace offerings between the two kingdoms; although he fully understood and made mention that he could never bring back the lives that'd been lost.
Many of the soldiers were still upset, and some still rooted to kill the king. Yet, the majority were understanding enough to at least blame the evil spirit which had over taken their leader. Others thought of it as a poor excuse, some way to coward his way out, yet the sincerity of the king's cry for his loss of wife and son convinced many, and he was certainly taking responsibility for the problems that'd been caused.
Seh'ethil took his attention off the crowd and the king's speech, taking a stand beside Link. "Are you okay, friend?" He asked quietly, under the king's voice, not wanting to interrupt anything. His own small injuries came to mind, now becoming a slight annoyance that the drama of battle wasn't distracting him from them.
To an extent, the elf already wanted to leave. Part of him wanted to run away from the troubles of the two kingdoms, even if he knew it wasn't right not to face up to such issues. Yet, on the other hand, seeing all the destruction and chaos, he wanted to stay and help them rebuild. Seh'ethil understood the conflicts of the two kingdoms had not been his fault, or problem, but as he'd stepped in on them with Link, he'd made them so, and it wouldn't be right just to leave them be - even if they were slowly being resolved.

"I'm alright Seh'ethil, let Midna help you if you're injured," she appeared in front of Seh'ethil and gave him a hug, using more of her magic than normal she managed to rejuvenate him, healing his body and spirit and giving him so much energy. However, she never used so much magic at once and it made her a bit weaker, "there... you're all better, I'm gonna take a rest after that, try not to get injured for at least a while, okay?" She said, weakly giggling, she disappeared, giving back Link's shadow. "Feel better?" Link asked with a smile, but his smile quickly faded when he thought of repairing all the pointless destruction done, "I wonder if we can at least do a funeral before we start working to fix up the place." Link said to himself.

Seh'ethil wondered if he would ever get used to Midna and Link's generosity, something that was not so common of most of the people he'd known in the past. "Thank you Midna.. you really shouldn't waste your magic on me," He said, as she returned under Link. Despite this, he did feel rather amazing from what Midna had done.
"It would only seem proper.." Seh'ethil added, agreeing to the thought of the funeral. They later suggested it to the woeful king, who announced it amongst the soldiers and village people. The funeral would serve not only for the royal family, but all those who'd been lost in the war.
The royal family would be buried in a sacred burial ground, and the two kingdoms worked together to sort out a graveyard between them, where all those who were unidentifiable to belong to either kingdom could rest in peace.
Although much preparation was put into the funerals, and much recovering was to take place this day, they wouldn't be held until the next. Every able man and woman was to volunteer their time to assist, and although it was a sad day in the history of both kingdoms, they would create a bond as they worked together between them - as if some good could come out of this.
Seh'ethil left to lead his horse back to the stable, allowing it proper rest and care after all it had done. He later climbed up onto the tin roof of it, needing a break from all that'd happened. The elf sat with his head in between his knees, arms wrapped loosely around his legs. He let out a heavy sigh, wanting to cry with all the people and their pain, but finding himself unable to.

"Seh'ethil!" Link said as he found him, he jumped on the roof to join his friend, "are you alright?" He asked him, looking a bit worried. He sat down next to him, "you're upset over everything thats happened, huh? I am too... I feel sick inside still, although the events have passed us, this feeling won't leave me for a very long time, I can tell." He let out a big sigh, "since everything seems to be resolved, should we stay a bit longer for a rest, or go now?" He asked Seh'ethil again.

Seh'ethil managed a smile in Link's direction, he hadn't meant to be caught in such a mopey state. Yet, he was glad he understood and could relate to the feeling. "I'd like to stay and help them all more.. but.. We should move on," The elf suggested, getting up. In his mind the sooner they left the sooner they could move on with their lives, as staying to rest here would just end up taking more of a toll than allowing relaxation.
As the archer slid off the top of the roof and landed on his feet in front of the stable, he saw a small boy with the many horses, who had apparently also come here to escape everything. The young boy was petting the snout of Seh'ethil's horse, which neighed in delight for the attention. The elf smiled, waiting till he was done to take his horse from the stable. "I'm going to leave the horse in the next town. I'm sure it will be a better home for it," He said, explaining his decision. The elf didn't quite feel it was his horse after all, as he had merely taken it from its previous owner, and he rather felt more like he was just looking after it for the time being. He figured it was better off here, and the people would adopt it.
Seh'ethil began to ready himself to move on, mounting his horse. They'd have to pass through or at least by the neighboring kingdom to continue on, and he could allow the horse its freedom there. The elf couldn't recall for sure as he'd been rather preoccupied with all the fighting to pay it much mind, but he was sure there had been great, snow covered mountains on the other side of the next kingdom. "I think it might be cold, where we're headed..."

Link slid off the roof, helped his horse out of its stable and climbed on its back, "yeah, we'll need to be careful from now on... I sense our journey is gonna be even tougher from this point forward." His horse walked through the town, Link watched everyone finish up the last of the repairs to the castle and any buildings that could be damaged. The battlefield was free of bodies, but the giant gash in the earth would be there for years to come, possibly forever, he couldn't help but feel stupid about doing it.
He got off his horse and left it in the other kingdom's stables, he and Seh'ethil went and explored the village, they were at work, repairing the damages, but both places had a depressing feeling in the air, they knew their lives would never be the same after what had happened, due to the evil spirit. Link could see the mountains in the distance so he took a path through the trees to get to it, another vast field came into view, he had a flashback of the little girl and her 'garden of dreams', it made him feel edgy. Luckily nothing happened when he took his first steps, he continued running toward the mountain.
When they left the cover of the trees and came into view, he noticed a paved path up the mountain, he wondered if people lived behind or even on the mountain. He slowly made his way up the path, careful not to slip from the icy snow, they were nowhere near the top and already the air was freezing cold, but Link was used to such conditions so he lived through it all. He didn't know how Seh'ethil would handle it though.

Seh'ethil took the cold air of the mountain as refreshing in comparison to the gloomy overtone that the towns held to them. He'd kept few blankets from under the horse's saddle and stored them away in his pack, taking one out as they began up the icy path and wrapping it around himself. He grabbed another one out, this one folded up, and held it out to Link, offering him it if he wanted.
The elf was not at all accustom to the freezing weather, and it was certainly quite a climate change from the heated desert they'd prior made it out of. This mountain felt like a desert too, however, an icy, barren one. Seh'ethil remembered the last time he'd seen snow, and it was many a year ago. The wind chill picked up as they moved on up the path, causing Seh'ethil to cling to the blanket all the more.
He began to wonder if anything or anyone lived out here, if any creature would even be able to survive in such conditions. Yet, just as the elf was loosing hope, he kicked up some snow, and a frozen over plant rest in its place. He smiled slightly, that at some point vegetation was able to grow, even in this cold.
As the two neared the end of the path it led into a cave, which was covered in icicles, both roof hanging and from the floor. It was a beautiful sight, but certainly something to be cautious about. Seh'ethil sighed with some relief, as at least the wind didn't bite at their skin so viciously from in the cave. As they moved on, he could see light from the other side, apparently proving the cave was really much more like a tunnel. The archer hoped to see something other than more snow and ice on the other side.

((Sorry, twilight princess reference in this post, you might not get this part if you haven't played far enough to Snowpeak.))
Link gladly accepted Seh'ethil's offering for the spare blanket, he was a bit cold, even though hes climbed up mountains like this before. When they left the tunnel there was a slope of snow in their way, when he tried to climb over it it collapsed, he fell face first in the big pile of snow, when he got up and wiped the snow off his face he could see houses. Small wooden houses, broken beyond repair, they looked to be quite old, "so people did live here before..." He said to himself, "I wonder what happened?"
He didn't bother looking around, since there were holes in the roofs and the houses were full of snow because of it, he assumed they all moved on to live someplace else. He kept going forward, despite the strong winds blowing cold air in his face, when he took another step he seemed to sink into the snow even more, when he looked down he had stepped into a huge footprint. It was beyond human size, so maybe a monster was around on the mountain, they must've have been fresh prints since they led up a winding path to the top of a near hill. He ran toward the top, almost slipping on his face several times.
When he reached the top he could see a huge creature with its back turned, he punched the lone tree, making one of its frozen solid leaves fall on the ground. Link suddenly had dejavu, "Yeto?!" He yelled, the beast turned to him, it was indeed Yeto, all the way from Hyrule's Snowpeak. "Huh? That you Link?!" He asked a bit loudly, "it is you!" He ran up and gave Link a big, strong hug, "it been long time, friend!" He yelled happily, "yes, it has Yeto, 2 years in fact" Link replied, almost crying from seeing such a familiar face.
Yeto put Link down, "why you way out here? Why not home with friends?" Yeto asked curiously, but Link didn't answer, it made him sad, "Yeto sorry, no upset Link again" but Link snapped out of it and smiled, "don't worry Yeto, I'll be alright, but, why are you out here and not at home?" Link asked his big friend, "Yeta and I find new home, old home too hot now, come here where it colder! Follow, I take you to house, do what Yeto do, like old times!" Yeto hopped on the leaf and with one foot he began to push himself down the mountain, using the leaf as a snowboard.
Link punched the tree, knocking a leaf down for him and Seh'ethil, he hopped onto his and waited for Seh'ethil to catch up, "this'll be fun!" Link said excitedly.

(( Don't worry about it! I haven't gotten that far so I'm not familiar, like you assumed, but I googled yeto quickly. So I have a vague idea of what he looks like/who is wife is at least. & vaguely their relation to Link. ))
Although abandoned, snowed in houses weren't exactly what the elf had expected, it certainly was something more than just ice and snow. Seh'ethil was having some difficultly following Link through the snow, getting stuck up to his knees a few times.
The archer had become chilled to the bone in the process of running up the hill after Link. His face grew a deeper blue as it became lightly frost bitten from the heavy winds, and tiny bits of ice hung off his ears. Despite that the cold was making him miserable, he still seemed to prefer it over its extreme opposite. When Seh'ethil finally made it to the top of the hill, he almost fell back in shock at the yeti-like creature, moreso surprised with Link's apparent association with it.
Just as Link's friend headed down the mountain, and Link began to, Seh'ethil followed. He didn't have time to ask how Link knew him, and figured it might be weird to. "I don't like the idea of thiiisss--" The archer said, starting to ride down. He drew out the 'is' in 'this,' as he nearly fell off the leaf, barely managing to keep his balance.

((I'm sorry, I spoiled it for you, xD bad Lindsay, bad!))
Link slid down the mountain after Yeto, laughing and having a blast, the leaf was so cold it practically froze to the bottom of his boots, letting him jump and slide down even the steepest snow hill with ease. The path was smooth and he managed to make it down safely, there were no holes so he wasn't worried about Seh'ethil falling. The path did a sudden left turn so he skid to a stop and continued left, a huge mansion could be seen in the distance, Yeto went inside it, he got there pretty fast.
When he got closer to the mansion the snow was gone, revealing the stone path leading to the mansion, the instant his snowboard hit the barren path it shattered like glass, making him slide forward on his stomach. He slowly got back up and brushed any snow flakes falling from the sky, he looked back, a bit worried that he couldn't see Seh'ethil anywhere.

(( ! It's fine~ I have fun playing the game even if I know what happens in it. Besides, I don't even have my wii anymore.. i might forget by the time i get to play. :S ))
Although the way down may have been easier for more experience people, or even anyone with slight more balance than the freezing elf, Seh'ethil still found it mildly difficult to get down. By the time he reached the bottom he'd improvised by sitting on the leaf instead, making it into more of a sled than a snowboard. It was slower, and certainly not as fun, but the archer was far too cold to be bothered. Not to mention, he found it easier to steer passed any obstacles this way.
As Seh'ethil grew nearer to the end of the slope, he saw Link and stood up, jumping from the frozen leaf before it hit the bottom and broke as well. His blanket ended up sticking to it, frozen, but he'd pulled on it hard enough that it came loose in time. He walked up to Link, shivering, although it was more like a run from the momentum of going down the remaining part of the slope.
"W-who was that Link?" Seh'ethil asked, referring to his friend, who was apparently a fair bit a head of them. His teeth were chattering from the cold, yet as he tipped his head back and stuck his tongue out to catch a snowflake, you could tell he wasn't completely dissatisfied with the snow.

"Lets get you inside first, then I'll explain, okay?" He said, helping Seh'ethil get inside, the instant they entered, it was very cold, but when they kept going to the living room, the warmth of the fireplace could be felt. Yeta was leaning back on a bunch of pillows, taken from the chairs in the mansion since the huge pile of wooden chairs in the corner were evidence of that, they were using them to stoke the fire. "Oh, Link, there you are! Yeto say you come by" Yeta said when she noticed him, "who is new friend?" She asked Link. Yeto came out of the kitchen and went into the living room with a couple bowls of soup in his hands.
"Here, it warm you up!" Yeto said, handing the soup to Seh'ethil and Link. He sat next to Yeta to warm up by the fire himself, "since we all here, how does a story sound?" Link sat near the fireplace across from them, he hasn't eaten in so long that he doesn't know if he can anymore, but he didn't want to offend Yeto so he sipped his soup, spoonful after spoonful. When he stopped eating his soup he began to tell his story of how he met Yeto and Yeta, "Yeto was just a 'dangerous and ugly monster' to most people of Hyrule, but when I met him, he was no way like that. His kind and gentle heart was evident the first time we ever spoke and we became instant friends, Yeta was plagued by sickness, which was caused by a dark artifact I went up Snowpeak to find."
"Yeto gave the artifact to Yeta as a gift and they hid it in their bedroom, but the key was missing, with Yeta's help I managed to find it, one thing lead to another and I ended up having to save Yeta from the dark artifact, which filled her with an evil power, after a freezing battle she was saved and the artifact was in my possession. What happened next... you don't want to know, but after saving Yeta's life I became her life long friend." Link continued eating his soup, "reminds me of the soup you made to help Yeta's sickness, except it doesn't have that extra punch..." Link commented. "Different ingredients here, Hyrule soup better, agree with Link I do."
"Yeta want to know, who is new friend? How you two get here?" Yeta asked curiously, Link decided to let Seh'ethil answer first and he kept eating his soup.

Seh'ethil shook his head, almost too cold to say anything else. As he took a seat close by the fire he hoped for not only for his fingers to unthaw, but for his blanket also. The blanket had been frozen into specific folds and creases, making it relatively uncomfortable.
The elf nodded as a form of thanking Yeto for the soup, and ate it slowly. He wasn't all that fond of the taste, yet showed no sign of it, and was glad enough that it was something warm that he wasn't about to complain. The archer was rather interested in the story, as he was interested in most stories Link had to tell about his past, and of Hyrule. Realizing that Yeto and Yeta must have been friends from when Link was still 'living,' he had to question if they knew that he was supposed to be 'dead.'
Seh'ethil waited to finish another bite of the soup before introducing himself. He spoke a bit slowly at first, tired from the cold, and also a bit intimidated by the couple's size and loud voices. The elf was used to much more soft spoken people, even if he could see how kind Yeta and Yeto were. Yet, as he got talking and as the warmth from the soup woke him up a bit more, the archer became more enthusiastic. "I'm Seh'ethil," he said, smiling and shaking the wrinkles out of his blanket. "It's my pleasure to make your acquaintances. We traveled a very long way.." The elf didn't give any details towards their travel, figuring they would ask if they wanted to know more, or Link would fill it in or expand on it.
He'd always imagined Hyrule to be so far away, that part of him wondered just how they got here themselves. Yet, Seh'ethil had to admit that was just his imagination, and he really had no idea where it was, at all.

"Our journey has been a long and emotional one, it would take us all night to explain it in detail, it'd be hard to believe as well." Link said as he finished the last of his soup, he secretly wondered what it would do to his dead stomach, it can't digest anything. "Link... look worried, something wrong?" Yeto asked him,
Link sighed, he didn't know how to explain to them that he was 'dead', they wouldn't believe him no matter what. "I'm alright Yeto, don't worry about it, thanks for the soup by the way." Yeto nodded his head, "no worries friend, Follow Yeto, he show you bedrooms, you must be tired!" Yeto stood up and Yeta got up to follow him, they were both pretty tired themselves, they headed through the door opposite the kitchen and went down a few halls, soon there were doors on the left wall. "Here are bedrooms, you choose which one, me and Yeta go to bed now, good night friends!"
They both went off to their room while Link let out a loud yawn, "I'm pretty sleepy myself, I'll take the door on the right, good night Seh'ethil" he said, patting Seh'ethil on the back. He opened the door and closed it behind him, there was a huge and fluffy bed with a large empty dresser next to it, he hopped on the bed and let out a big sigh, it was very comfortable. He fell asleep almost instantly.

Seh'ethil was glad that they were shown their rooms, as he was still rather tired from their trip, and not having much of a rest after the battle had taken place. His long awaited question now had an answer, as he assumed Link could eat food, since he'd eaten Yeto's soup. He quickly found, however, that it really wasn't as big of a deal as he'd once thought it to be.
The elf smiled sleepily at Yeto and Yeta as they wished them good night. "Till the morning, Link." He replied, watching the door close behind Link. He'd barely noticed the pat, feeling now only half awake. Seh'ethil then entered into his own room. He dropped his stuff on the floor by the bed side - something that'd become almost ritualistic in their travels, it seemed, and then curled up under the covers. Unlike most of the beds he'd previously slept in, he really didn't mind this one.
Seh'ethil ditched the blanket he'd been carrying around so that he might enjoy the soft warmth of the one in the room; the entire atmosphere of it making him feel secure, safe from all the evils of the world. As the elf closed his eyes he imagined himself to be sleeping on a cloud, and the feeling of peace and serenity it brought was quite welcomed by him.

He soon woke up all on his own, not knowing if it was day or night since the usual beam of sunshine that hits his face couldn't be seen. He left his room, stretching and yawning, and he started to leave the mansion to take a look outside, strangely he couldn't find a window anywhere. The instant he opened the door he was greeted with a blizzard, some snow hit him in the face and cold winds entered the house, he struggled to close the door. "Great, we're stuck here..." Link mumbled to himself as he wiped off all the snow, flinging it to the floor, "now what are we gonna do?" He walked back to his room to just go to sleep till Seh'ethil wakes him up.
However, Yeto was awake, you could hear him humming as he went to work in the kitchen to make breakfast. Link decided to go check it out instead and see if he needed any help, when he entered the kitchen he was greeted with the scent of bacon. "Mornin' friend! Sleep good?" Yeto asked Link when he noticed him, he started to crack up a couple big eggs into another pan on the big stove. "I slept good Yeto, thank you, need any help there?" Yeto shook his head no, "Yeto good, thanks, wake friend up and go to dining room through left door, breakfast ready soon!"
Link nodded his head and left the kitchen to go get Seh'ethil, he reached the rooms and knocked on the door, "Seh'ethil? Are you awake in there? Its time for breakfast!"

Seh'ethil stirred in his bed, not wanting to leave it as Link woke him up. Reluctantly, he got to his feet, and picking up his things, went to greet Link. A rather groggily elf peaked out from behind the door, which slowly creaked open as he pulled it back. "Sleep well Link?" He asked, cheerful at the sight of his friend. The house was a bit colder now that he'd left the warmth of the blankets, and it took him a second to register that they were still out in the cool, snowy mountains.
Seh'ethil stepped out of his room, closing the door behind him. He had just vaguely processed the mention of breakfast, yet the pleasant aroma of it made him glad it was offered. He followed Link to the dining room, where Yeto and Yeta were already waiting, the food and plates both ready and placed out along a table. The archer waited for Link to pick a spot, then took a seat of his own. "Good morning," Seh'ethil said, greeting their hosts.

"We hope you like it, food fresh from village at base of mountain, but village different when Yeto went to get food. Did a bad thing happen?" Yeto asked them both as they were eating breakfast, Link thought Yeto was aware of the whole 'war' thing that happened just two days ago. Link, sadly, explained everything that had happened between the two kingdoms as best as he could. Occasionally taking a bite of his breakfast so it didn't get cold, when his tale ended everyone's plate was clean and it was lunch time. "How sad..." Yeta said, trying to not cry, "why must bad things happen?" Yeto pulled her close with his arm to calm her down, "Without evil, Yeta, our world would seize to exist, yes, it is very sad when people die for no reason, but it is how life is."
"That why there are Heros like Link and Seh'ethil, they stop evil and save lives" Yeto added, trying to help her even more. Yeta finally smiled, knowing she was once again happy, Yeto started to gather up the dishes and prepare lunch. "Thank you for breakfast, it was very good," he was surprised that the soup from yesterday didn't make him sick, he wondered what breakfast would do to his stomach though. "What sound good for lunch everyone? Meat or fish?" Yeto asked before he went into the kitchen, "meat, please" both Yeta and Link replied, Yeto waited for Seh'ethil's answer.

"Meats fine," Seh'ethil chimed in, realizing they were waiting on his response. He'd zoned out a bit, rethinking over their entire journey so far, as Link explained the war. He wanted to ask what had happened with the snowed in houses they'd passed by on the way, but figured it wouldn't be any good to just restart more sad stories everyone had just gotten over.
Seh'ethil pushed back his chair lightly, excusing himself from the table. "I'm going to take a walk," the elf explained, although he knew his walk would be limited to the halls and rooms of Yeto and Yeta's home. He found it nice, to think things over as he paced, especially after a nice meal; to think about your troubles and then dismiss them from your mind for later times.
He admired the decor of their house, slowly making his way back to the dining room. When Seh'ethil made it around, he waved to Link from the doorway, calling him over.
