"What's wrong Seh'ethil?" Link asked as he ran over, curious about what he would tell him.

((Rofl, short post.))

MORBiDUS 01-02-2009 07:47 PM

(( Don't worry, I really didn't leave you with much else.. Sorry about that! ))

Seh'ethil smiled benignly at Link, walking along a bit more so they were guaranteed to be out of earshot of Yeto and Yeta. "Are you okay, with eating food?" He asked, out of concern for Link. The elf had thought such a question in his mind had been satisfied, yet Link continuously seemed at unease when he had to eat. He swept a wisp of hair out of his face, leaning lightly against the wall.

During the walk he'd just taken around the house Seh'ethil had come to the realization that they were being snowed in. As a result, as their conversation went on, he had to bring up another question: "Do you think the storm will let up by tomorrow morning?" -- In actuality, it was the archer's way of asking if Link would be able and willing to leave tomorrow morning. Seh'ethil knew that blizzard or no blizzard he must have felt nostalgic about being with old friends, and perhaps Link wanted to keep to a longer visit.

His ear twitched slightly as he could hear Yeto working away at dinner, pots and pans clattering together lightly, meat or maybe vegetables being chopped up against a cutting board. It was easier to listen to, with the silence of the house and the echo of it all, the only other noise being the harsh winds outside. Lunch would probably be readied soon. He hoped that didn't mean it was also easy for them to have listened in on their conversation, as it may have seemed a bit odd to their hosts.

_~Link~_ 01-02-2009 08:15 PM

"I've been feeling the same since I started eating, perhaps I'm... becoming more of a mortal the more time I spend with you." Link felt that was a stupid thing to say, "or maybe I could've eaten all along, but since I'm not 'alive', why would I want to?" The sound of the winds made him shiver, like he could feel the cold air rushing past him, "I really hope it will stop, I've never spent this much time on a mountain like this, it all depends on mother nature. I'm ready to leave whenever, but I dunno how Yeta and Yeto would take it." He looked concerned, he was just reunited with old friends, it would be rude to just leave all of a sudden. Pretty soon, Yeto was putting a roast in the oven, with big chunks of potatoes and carrots, Link could smell it cooking already.

"If you want to leave right now... we'll try and see if Yeto will help us through the storm, or do you want to wait till tomorrow?" Link asked Seh'ethil curiously, Link himself wanted to stay a little bit longer in truth.

MORBiDUS 01-02-2009 08:30 PM

Seh'ethil smiled lightly at what Link had said, as if it were nice to know Link felt more human again. Yet, he had to rethink the smile, wondering if it wouldn't hinder Link at times to become closer to being mortal again. Overall, though, the elf was relieved that his friend felt himself alright and fit to eat.

"Let's wait till tomorrow, the storm may blow over by then, there's no need to rush," Seh'ethil said, decidingly. He didn't want to overstay their welcome, but he also didn't want to deny Yeto and Yeta's hospitality. If they all wanted to catch up and be together, there was no reason to have a short lived visit. It wasn't like he was really in all that much of a hurry to meet the freezing snow again, as it was. The elf smiled, even if he didn't know Yeto and Yeta, they seemed like very kind beings, and their cozy home was slowly growing on him.

There was still some time before dinner, so they headed back to the dining room to converse with Yeta.

_~Link~_ 01-02-2009 09:02 PM

"Something wrong friends?" Yeta asked them as they came back, "oh, no Yeta, everything is alright," Link replied as he sat down, "Link hiding something from Yeta, is he?" She asked suspiciously, Link looked nervous, "no, not at all," he said, shaking his hands. Yeta gave him a suspicious look, he scratched the back of his head, smiling and laughing nervously. Yeto left the kitchen and came into the dining room. "Food no ready for long time, we go outside maybe?" The loud winds grew even more fierce outside, "never mind, we do something inside, follow Yeto!" He left the dining room through a big door across the kitchen door with everyone following behind him.

After going through some hallways they were greeted with a ballroom with ice covered floors and pillars, "This skating room, me and Yeta come to skate when bad weather outside." The ceiling was a glass dome, all foggy with icicles hanging from it. Yeto ran and slid across the floor, Yeta slid on her stomach all around the room, laughing. Link joined them in the fun, almost slipping several times, but he soon got his balance and was able to slide around with his boots. There were piles of snow around in the corners of the room and at the bases of the pillars, one pile Link accidentally slid into, he hit the wall and some icicles fell from the ceiling. He came out all covered in snow and laughing a bit loudly, "I wonder if theres some ice skates around?" He asked, trying to not laugh anymore.

Yeto slid over to Link, "Yeto know where skates are, wait here," he slid over to the door and left, a few minutes later he came back with a pair of skates for Link and Seh'ethil. "Yeto sorry he not give them before" Link shook his head, "thats okay Yeto, I should've asked first" he headed back to the door and left for some more stable ground to put on his skates, when he was done he headed back to join in the fun.

MORBiDUS 01-02-2009 09:20 PM

Seh'ethil smiled widely as he took in the brilliance of the skating room. The elf was finding the ice very pretty, and almost wanted to just stand and admire it over skate. Yet, seeing the fun everyone else was having he was forced end up joining in. He laughed lightly as he saw Link hit the snow pile, and along with all the fun and energy Yeto and Yeta were creating.

The elf had to decline the skates politely, they were odd and new to him. He'd rather just slide around in his boots. Seh'ethil set his things down in a corner, and glided off onto the ice. He was soon to find that it was a lot more slippery than it appeared, but decided to start off slow as to not prevent loosing his balance or wiping out - although that arguably might have been part of the fun. He waited for Link to come back out onto the ice, watching Yeto and Yeta slide around playfully.

_~Link~_ 01-02-2009 09:51 PM

Link wasn't quite used to ice skates yet, but after some practice he could do jumps and spins, he managed to jump over Yeta and do a flip in the air, but he couldn't stick the landing, he fell on his stomach and slid across the floor a bit. "You okay Link?" Asked Yeto as he slid over and helped him up, "yeah..." Link held his gut, then his chest, it was his wound acting up again. "I'll be right back," Link said, he ran over to the door and slammed it behind him, he was mad that his injury was interrupting quality time with his friends. "Midna... help me, please...", he slid down the wall and sat on the floor, she appeared by his side, giving him a hug and stopping the pain with her magic.

"There, you'll be alright now Link, take care, okay?" She was a bit weaker due to the loss of magic. Link nodded his head, smiling, "yeah, thank you Midna," she gave him a kiss on the cheek and disappeared, she had a sad look on her face, like something bad was about to happen. The kiss surprised him and her sad face made him curious, but after Midna disappeared, Yeto opened the door and peeked out. "You okay now, Link?" Yeto asked him, "yeah, I'm okay now... I don't feel like skating anymore, I'm sorry..." He replaced his skates with his boots and walked back to the dining room.

Yeto looked worried and left to check on dinner, Yeta soon followed, but what about Seh'ethil?

MORBiDUS 01-02-2009 10:15 PM

Seh'ethil had mostly been preoccupied with the glistening ice, really spending more time studying it than skating, yet still enjoying himself with the joyful atmosphere everyone else gave out. He came to from his near day dream like state quickly, however, when Link had fallen. At first the elf really didn't think much of it, but felt rather worried when Link ran off. He'd considered it to maybe be his stomach reacting from the food, but later also wondered if it hadn't been his wound - something the archer so easily forgot Link had.

Seh'ethil moved closer to the door after Yeto had gone to check on Link, and although he couldn't make everything out so clearly, he felt less worried hearing Link was alright. He still felt some concern, however, knowing that Link might not tell Yeto everything.

As Yeta went with them and the elf was left alone, he slid back out to the center of the ice rink. He sat down in the middle, for a few moments, to just look up at the icicles, the ice, the gentle sparkle of it all. When he'd seen as much as there was to see of a bunch of frozen water, he picked up his things and went to join everyone. "What happened, Link?" He asked, in a whisper, slowly catching up.

_~Link~_ 01-02-2009 10:52 PM

"It was my wound... I just had to separate myself for a little while, till it went away... I was afraid to blow my cover. I don't want to know what would happen if they heard I was 'dea-'" he stopped talking when he noticed Yeta and Yeto in the dining room serving up dinner. He sat down in his chair, an amazing smell filled the room from the pot roast and vegetables, "dinner will be real good this time, it came out tender and juicy" Yeto said, describing the pot roast as he cut off a big chunk for everybody. When everyone was served up, Link couldn't hold in his secret anymore, "Yeto..." he started to say, getting his attention, "I'm... dead." They both stopped eating, confused at what Link just said.

"But... Link not dead, he alive in front of us," said Yeta, Link was expecting such an answer, so he went into greater detail. He told them the story of his death and how the Triforce is the only thing keeping him in the world of the living, they still were confused. "Link is dead... but he still walk around? Is he zombie?" Asked Yeta, she grew a bit scared, "no Yeta, Link no zombie, if he still talking and thinking, he alive. That why you been acting strange, huh?" Yeto asked Link, he nodded his head, surprised they both took it so well. "No matter what you are Link, you our friend, you should have said this at beginning." Link was so relieved that he was still accepted by his old friends, and pretty soon, everyone finished eating dinner.

Yeto gathered up the dishes and went to clean them in the kitchen, Yeta went to go warm up by the fireplace while Link got out of his chair and yawned. The big meal was making him sleepy, but he woke up to the sound of broken glass and ran off to check it out. It was in a room he never saw before, there was rustling and growling behind the door, he drew his sword and slowly walked toward it. When he reached the door the sounds stopped, so he slowly opened the door and looked inside, it was a storage room, ice covered boxes were everywhere. He noticed the broken window and saw something white behind a box, it jumped out and it was a white wolf with red eyes, it lunged at Link to attack him. He stabbed it with his sword and it let out a howl, after it died it turned into a pile of snow, pretty soon more wolves were jumping through the broken window.

There were too many for Link to fight by himself so he ran out of the room with the wolves chasing after him, "Seh'ethil! Yeto! Help!" He shouted.

MORBiDUS 01-03-2009 08:55 AM

((sorry about my random absences lately, my work has been needing me.. ))

Seh'ethil was unable to respond more properly as they'd just walked into the dining room. Not wanting to give anything away, he simply muttered a short, "I see." He was worried for Link, his wound and currently how long he'd be able to hide his secret from his friends, beings who seemed to care for him deeply.

The elf had to put the thought at momentary ease to dig into the dinner Yeto had cooked and served for them, finding it particularly delicious. He tried to thank Yeto inbetween mouthfuls, but had enjoyed the taste so much it would be hard to do so politely. The archer hadn't had many real, proper meals for quite some time, and Yeto's home cooked ones were a nice change as of recent.

The only point at which Seh'ethil found the time to pause his eating was when Link surprisingly admitted his secret. At that moment, his previous concern washed completely from his mind, as if a soothing tide had cleansed him of it. The elf smiled, both at Link's bravery in saying it, and Yeto and Yeta's understanding of it. Their friendship was strong, so it made no difference to them. Seh'ethil admired it.

Their thoughts on it all further broadened his point of view on the previously touchy subject; he'd understood Link was dead, but never made much of it. When Yeto mentioned that Link was, to them, very much alive, because he could still think and speak, it gave Seh'ethil a different perspective on what being of the living or the dead was.

The elf had decided to clean his own plate, helping Yeto with them in the kitchen. Yet, he nearly dropped the dish as he heard Link's call for help. He sprinted over to where Link was, wondering what possibly could be the problem here in the peaceful mansion. He hadn't heard the glass shatter earlier. When Seh'ethil arrived on the scene, he was rather shocked. The archer swiftly pulled an arrow from his quiver, steadied his bow and shot at the leading wolf that chased after Link.

The arrow hit with what seemed like an extra charge, the wolf flying back in the air and hitting a wall before turning into the powdered white its predecessor had. He'd already taken out another of the three wolves before some of the pack separated from their kin that was chasing Link. They started to corner the archer, but it wasn't hard to knock off their numbers with his aim. Although it hadn't ran through his mind til later, Seh'ethil realized it was a good thing he had everything on him and had not left it to his room this day. In the commotion, Yeto had came to also answer Link's shout and check out the commotion.

_~Link~_ 01-03-2009 06:58 PM

((Lol, thats alright, if you're busy then I understand, I'll wait till you come back, its no problem.))

He put his sword away and grabbed his daggers, he stabbed any wolf that dare jump at him or his friends, but they soon overwhelmed him, there were still too many coming at once. No matter how many they killed more just seemed to replace it, while Link was distracted one wolf had tackled him, making him drop his daggers. It was like the wolves had ignored Seh'ethil and Yeto, they were only attacking Link for who knows what, of course they would attack and kill the wolves, but all the wolves's attention was on Link. He was confused, but he used his sword to help defend himself, what could they possibly want with Link? Did they want to eat him? Or was it because he himself could turn into a wolf?

While he was thinking one wolf bit his hand, he almost dropped his weapon as he shook it off, he gave it a swift kick, making it fly back and turn into snow. They just kept coming after Link, more determined after a wolf gets killed, one grabbed his cloak with its jaws and pulled on it, trying to get him to fall down. "Damn it! Let go of me!" Link shouted as he flung it off and halfway across the room, more wolves grabbed it this time and with their combined strength they made Link fall backward, he dropped his sword. They all lunged at him, biting him and trying to kill him, though Link tried to kick them off he just couldn't get them to stop.

Yeto grabbed at the wolves and threw them across the room, turning them into snow, when Link's shouts of pain had stopped he was even more determined to save his friend. When there were only three or four wolves left they just... ran away, ran back home without looking back, leaving Link's bruised and beaten up body on the floor. He wasn't moving, his eyes were closed, since, in truth, hes dead, they couldn't see if he was breathing, it was probably the strangest situation ever. Yeto picked Link up in his arms, almost crying after what happened to his friend, hoping Link was still alive. "Wolves... lived on other mountain, Yeto hoped they weren't here... this first time Yeto ever see them attack."

Yeto carried Link back to his bedroom, Link's hat fell on the floor, he put Link in bed and covered him with the blanket, "Only time tell if he get better, Yeto have feeling he will." he quietly left and went to go tell Yeta about what happened, to inform her on the situation. Midna had appeared sitting at Link's bedside, she was crying, upset that she couldn't heal Link yet in her weakened state. "Seh'ethil, I'll watch over Link for now... see if you can go comfort Link's friends and inform them he'll be alright." She asked of him, though she had no idea herself if he'd be alright or not.

MORBiDUS 01-04-2009 12:59 AM

Seh'ethil wondered if the endless horde of winter wolves would ever end, as they flooded in, one after another, all attacking Link. Arrows plunged through many of the beasts, yet it made no difference to their numbers. Distracted as he tried to dispose of more wolves, the archer almost missed his friend get brutally attacked. He tried his best to get the wolves away, kill them, yet there were so many in the way there was no chance of getting to Link in time. He was glad Yeto had been there and able to, although was afraid it might have been too late..

Seh'ethil would have chased after the wolves in need for revenge, if it wasn't for his concern for Link's critical condition. He followed after Yeto, wishing Link would just wake up, be alright. As Midna spoke to him the elf was on the verge of tears. Seh'ethil had experienced the loss, death, injury of many of those close to him in his past, but none of it prepared him for seeing Link's beaten body laid out there.

Seh'ethil nodded softly at Midna's words, although he didn't want to leave her, or Link alone, he knew it'd be best to do as she'd said. He tried to have faith and believe Link really would be alright, yet that faltering hint in Midna's tone, and her tears, made him think otherwise. The archer tore one of the decorative feathers off his bow, and set it on the foot of the bed before leaving; it was a charm for luck, for good health. He wanted to say something more to Midna, to comfort her as well, but nothing seemed more right in the moment then silence.

When the elf had gone back to Yeto and Yeta, they were both in tears. He found it very hard to hold back his own as they welled up in the corner of his eyes, yet managed to. He felt it was better to be strong, for the moment. Yeto had his arm around Yeta, pulling her close. They were both mourning, and hadn't at first noticed the archer come into the room.

Seh'ethil didn't know whether Yeto and Yeta knew about Midna, but either way felt he had no choice but to explain her to them, and what she did for Link. Even after explaining, he wasn't sure if they'd known of her previously or not, but there was no protest or question of her in any way. Yeta said something in her tears, but she was sobbing too much for Seh'ethil to understand her, even with her loud voice. Yeto continued to be there for her, calming her down, even with his own worry and sadness. The elf had to pass on Midna's message that Link would be alright, although it was hard to say, harder to promise, when he wasn't sure if he believed it or not. It seemed to help Yeto and Yeta out to know, though, perhaps it raised their spirits.

Being not so well with comforting words, Seh'ethil hung his head and left the couple to themselves. He went back to the snowy storage room, to make sure there were no signs of the wolves left. Aside from the piles of snow their corpses left behind, which had slowly been melting in the hallways, he saw none. The archer looked out the frame of the broken window, yet even if the wolves could still be out there, he would never see them due to the snow creating a thick white wall. He grabbed at a blanket that'd been draped around one of the crates in the storage room, and began to stick it into the frame around the window as to cover it. It didn't do much, but it shielded the room from the winds and the snow somewhat.

Seh'ethil stayed a while in that storage room, wanting to be alone in the misery it caused to know his friend was in such a condition. Yet, he also understood despite what he wanted, he needed to be with others. The elf ended up going back to Yeto and Yeta, sitting with them in the silence of sobs, as the three of them worried equally for Link. Yeta wanted to go up and see him, but Yeto, at least for now, convinced her not to, as he must have felt it'd be to taxing for his wife to see Link in such a state.

_~Link~_ 01-04-2009 01:40 AM

Link just would not wake up, no matter what, which worried Midna even more, she didn't have enough strength anymore. She had to do something, even if it meant her own life, she cared about Link too much to just sit back and wait to get no positive result. She held his hand to try and activate the Triforce of Courage, using her last bit of magic and energy, she achieved her goal, the Triforce began to glow brightly. Link's fingers would twitch, soon he slowly opened his eyes, still very weak, Midna, so happy to see him alright couldn't help but smile as she fell down on the floor, near death herself. He quickly regained full strength and consciousness, sitting up, he looked down at the floor and quickly picked Midna up.

He held her in his arms, ignoring the pain from his injuries, "Link..." she said weakly, hardly able to speak, "I'm so... happy, you're... alright" she placed her hand on Link's face, "I... need to tell... you something... I love.. you." Her hand fell down, her eyes closed and she stopped breathing. Link started to cry, "Midna... why? You sacrificed your life... for me," he was sobbing a bit loudly, "come back Midna! I love you too... you can't leave me! What good is it that I'm alive and you're not?!"

You could hear his shouts halfway across the mansion, so Yeto ran back to Link's room to check out what was happening.

MORBiDUS 01-04-2009 03:49 AM

Seh'ethil, also having heard the shouts, bolted to the room right after Yeto. Had he not been so concerned, the elf might have stayed back with Yeta, but there was no time in his mind for that. As they entered the room, the archer was glad to see Link up, but any joy that came from that quickly faded away as he realized the situation had become all so terrible again. "Midna.." He said, quietly and under his breath as he stepped slowly through the door. The look on his face would better represent that of pure horror from his worry, if it was anything other than solemn sorrow.

At first, Seh'ethil hadn't been able to really make out what he was hearing when Link had shouted. Now the words entered his mind, and pieced together what was there in front of him. He realized Midna was dead, but every part of him doubted it, because he had to, because she couldn't just die. There wasn't time for details, already he was searching for some kind of alternative to this fate, there had to be something else they could do. Yet, he was speechless, unable to think of this moment as anything more than a nightmare.

Reality began to mix and blurr before everything dawned on him once again, setting in all the harder this time. Still, something more over in his subconscious was trying its best to tell him, convince him this wasn't how it seemed. He tried hard to believe this end wasn't inevitable, but as his nausea over it grew, there was no solid ground that he could use to prove otherwise. "There.. there has to be some way to save her!" Seh'ethil choked out, finally. It was the only words he could manage, the only thing to hope for that'd allow him to swallow back some of the pain, and the fear of it all.

_~Link~_ 01-04-2009 04:29 AM

He placed Midna on his bed and stood up, he was still crying a little, but he had to calm down and think of a way to revive her. He looked at the back of his hand, the Triforce, perhaps it could help revive her, but the idea he had in mind would require the other pieces, or... maybe not. He had to put his faith in the three goddesses who created the Triforce, so he lifted his left fist up high in the air, "great goddesses of Hyrule, please, lend me your assistance, give a portion of the Triforce of Courage to Midna, revive her!!" In a burst of light, the Triforce of Courage came out of Link's hand, its glittering beauty was overwhelming.

A loud snap could be heard as the Triforce split in two, one piece went back into Link's hand, he held up Midna's hand and the other one went into hers. The same Triforce pattern appeared on the back of Midna's left hand, only the Triforce was half lit up, same for Link, showing that it was truly split. Link felt a bit weaker from the loss of power, but he could care less, all he wanted to know is if Midna would live again, but, he could feel her hand shaking in his, which put a smile on his face. Her eyes opened and she sat up, holding her head, but she snapped out of it and looked around, "I'm alive?" She asked, almost crying with happiness.

"Yeah... you're alive" Link replied, feeling just the same as her, he gave her a hug and she returned it, only more tightly. It was like all the misery in everyone's faces just disappeared when Midna came back to life, everything that happened before was washed away from the tears of happiness. "How did I live...?" She asked Link, she saw the back of her hand and was a bit surprised, "why do I have the Triforce...?" Link chuckled quietly, "I'll tell you later... I'm just glad you're by my side again." Link replied, hugging Midna even more.

MORBiDUS 01-04-2009 05:10 AM

Seh'ethil paused, waiting in the moment with hope for the best outcome from what Link was trying, as everyone else was. His eyes lit up as he saw Midna awaken. He took in a deep breath and then let it out, almost in a gasp, joined with a smile. The power of the triforce was truly amazing, and one Seh'ethil was sure he would never understand. Yet, he didn't need to understand it, he realized both Midna and Link were alright, and that's all that mattered to him. Similar to how the sun shone out from behind grey clouds after a vicious storm, that feeling of everything being okay was slowly peaking out and dawning on everyone.

Seh'ethil wanted to go over and hug them, talk to them, be with them, after coming so close to loosing both of them. The archer refrained though, from even a word, and ran out of the room with a sort of energy and excitement that was usually only found in youth, when a child was expectant of some sort of gift beyond their imagination. He quickly found Yeta, informing her that everything was 'okay now' with such enthusiasm that he could barely pace his words.

The tears Seh'ethil had been trying so hard to hold back before now streamed down his cheeks, the salty taste reaching his lips. Yet, the wide smile that greeted those tears promised they were only of joy, relief, joining in with the ones of happiness that'd already been shed by others. He raced back up to the room with Yeta not far behind, stopping beside the door frame to allow her to go in first. He knew they'd have to give Link and Midna time to rest, but the right to see their friends alive and healthy couldn't be denied by anyone.

_~Link~_ 01-04-2009 05:30 AM

Midna gave Link a quick kiss on the cheek and smiled before she disappeared, Link's shadow was returned to him. Now that the stress has faded and everyone calmed down, sleepiness began to occur, Link gave everyone a good night hug and crawled back in bed, exhausted from the loss of power. "Good night everybody... sleep good" he mumbled, falling asleep right after, Yeto helped guide Seh'ethil and Yeta out then he quietly closed the door behind him to not disturb Link. "Yeto happy Link okay... time for bed, good night Seh'ethil, sleep tight" he gave Seh'ethil a light pat on the head and walked off to his room with Yeta by his side.

MORBiDUS 01-04-2009 05:49 AM

"Sleep well till morning," Seh'ethil said, returning the goodnight in some form to Yeto and Yeta. He went to his own room, laying down on his bed to think. Although he could be relieved of some worry now that both Link and Midna seemed to be alright, he still held concern for them. Eventually, however, the archer's mind drifted else where, and he ended up falling into light sleep.

When Seh'ethil awoke the next day, he had decided not to go wake Link, knowing he'd need the rest. The archer spent, however, the first hour or so of his waking in his room. Mostly he'd just lounged around, but he'd also spent some time digging into his pack, as if the items in it were new to him. He smiled lightly as he saw the mask he'd gotten in the kingdom they'd previously been in, although it was no longer a momentum of good times after the war. He set it back in, picking through a few bottles of sluggish looking and oddly colored liquid. The elf opened one, and a red fume puffed out of it, only to have him quickly close it in reaction as the odor of it was quite pungent and strong. As he set it back, he figured it'd be about time to go off and find Yeta and Yeto.

_~Link~_ 01-04-2009 06:10 AM

Once again Yeto was in the kitchen preparing breakfast, hashbrowns with sausage and eggs this time around, you could smell it a mile away, a sign it was done. He prepared a plate for Link and put it on a tray for him when he woke up, leaving it by his bed side, he went back to the kitchen to serve everyone else up. Link had woken up just as Yeto left, feeling just as weak as last night, but he tried his best to eat, however he couldn't find the strength to. Midna had appeared by his right side and sat on the other pillow, "good morning sleepy head" she sounded to be quite energetic.

"I'm happy you're feeling alright" Link chuckled weakly, he winced at the sudden pain in his gut, "I can't eat... you can have my breakfast if you're hungry." Midna sat in Link's lap and turned to face him with the tray in her lap, "need me to feed you?" She asked him, but he shook his head no, "no thank you... I'll probably go to sleep again anyway, I have a feeling all that food I ate before finally caught up to me." Midna had eaten Link's breakfast, she gave him a kiss on the cheek just before he fell back asleep and she carried the tray back to the kitchen.

Yeto and Yeta were in the dining room waiting for Seh'ethil to join them before his breakfast got cold. "I hope that Seh'ethil okay too, he seems late" Yeta said, refraining from eating until he arrives.

On his way to find their hosts, the elf spotted Midna with a tray ahead of him, apparently headed in a similar direction. "Midna!" He shouted, happy to see her up and about. He walked up to her with a smile, "How are you feeling?" The archer couldn't help but feel he shouldn't have left them alone yesterday, as if something could have been prevented if he was there. He had to put the thought to the back of his mind, though, concentrate on the good instead of dwell on the bad. "And is Link alright?"

After their conversation the elf went on his way. When Seh'ethil had entered the dining room, the only plausible place for everyone to be with the smell of breakfast in the air, he was a bit embarrassed to note he'd made them wait. He didn't apologize for it verbally, but gave them a almost shameful nodd as he took a seat that would mean the same. "Good morning Yeto, Yeta," He greeted, looking at them in turn as he did. They all began to dig into breakfast, and it was delicious as most of Yeto's meals, even if it was a bit cold. Seh'ethil didn't find he had much else to talk about with the two, not being much a conversationalist as it was. And he certainly didn't want to bring up last nights events in desperation for a topic, so he stayed quiet, not wanting to disrupt the breakfast any further considering he had already delayed it.

"Thank you for the food once again, Yeto," Seh'ethil said, pushing his chair back as he finished his plate. He brought his plate to the kitchen and then went back to his seat, not wanting to again excuse himself from the table till the two were done eating.

"It nice to know you're alright too Seh'ethil, just wonder if Link is fine..." He finished eating and picked up the rest of the plates to clean them in the kitchen. "I'll go outside, lots of fresh snow after storm, good for snowboarding" Yeta said as she headed for the front door. "That sound like good idea, I join you, Seh'ethil join us too?" Yeto asked him as he left the kitchen.

By this time Link's gut hurt too much for him to sleep, "I had a feeling this would happen..." he said painfully, "Midna... help, please..." she came flying back from the kitchen. "Don't worry Link, I'll help you!" She placed her hand on his stomach and using the Triforce's power she managed to stop the pain and heal his other injuries. "There you go, all better, can you move?" She asked him, he slowly sat up, "I don't know if I can stand up for long just yet... thank you though." He laid back down, "I just want to sleep some more... you don't need to worry about me for now." Midna laid down next to him, "well, I'm not gonna leave your side till you're all better!"

Link gave her a smile and fell asleep again, the warm food in Midna's stomach made her a bit sleepy too, she drifted off next to him.

The idea of the snow wasn't one the elf was all that fond of. And the mention of snowboarding had brought back memories of almost falling off his on the way down the hill to the mansion. Seh'ethil also wondered if it wouldn't be best to keep a watch for Link and Midna, just in case, yet he figured simply staying close to the house would do. Hesitantly, the archer decided to give the icy outdoors a second chance.

Seh'ethil, not being one for words, simply nodded as he joined them. When Yeta opened the front door snow drifted in, and the elf was feeling a bit discouraged, rethinking his previous agreement to go with them. Yeto and Yeta headed outside like the new snow was no issue, and Seh'ethil strugglingly followed along by keeping to their giant foot prints.

The surprised and slightly dismayed elf quickly found himself sinking into deeper snows as they traveled on, and not too happily at that. He was up to his waist in the fresh white powder, and it took him a couple minutes to free himself from it and catch up to Yeto and Yeta. The two were headed on like they didn't have a care in the world, too excited to enjoy the winter activities. Seh'ethil smiled at it.

By the time the archer thought he had caught up, Yeto and Yeta were no where to be seen. Yet, he soon found them as they came down one of the nearby hills, on makeshift leaf snowboards like they'd used before. As they reached the bottom where Seh'ethil was standing, knee deep in snow, Yeto encouraged him to join them the next time down. "That's alright, I'll just watch," Seh'ethil said. He'd have to deny the offer politely, as he wasn't sure if he could even make it up the hill in the deep snow.. or if he wanted to, for that matter.

After their third round of coming down various hills and slopes, Yeto and Yeta decided to take a short break and sit around with Seh'ethil in the snow. He hadn't wanted to bring up a more melancholy subject, but having his curiosity get to him, he had to ask. "Those wolves that attacked, you mentioned they live further away, Yeto?"

"On old mountain, wolves attacked Yeto every time he left to get food, but Yeto scare them off and leave Yeto alone, they never attacked new home until yesterday, it confuses Yeto. Why attack at such weird time and leave like nothing happen?" Yeto scratched his head in confusion, "perhaps they follow us?" Yeta suggested, "no, they not make it here if they made of snow, they would melt, maybe someone live here and make wolves from snow. Last wolves appear when that artifact first showed up and disappeared after Link took it. Maybe dark magic user is on mountain somewhere?"

It sounded a bit strange, but maybe it was Link and Seh'ethil's presence on the mountain that caused the wolves to attack. So many different thoughts and none seemed to sound reasonable at all, "so confusing" Yeta said as she tried to think of what could've caused the attack. "What does Seh'ethil think? Any ideas?" Yeto asked him.

Seh'ethil took a moment before responding, as he thought over what Yeto and Yeta had discussed. He really wanted to just believe that it was just a random attack, but the chances of that seemed so slim it was impossible. Something was wrong about it, and the archer didn't want to leave the dilemma untouched, assuming it wouldn't just go away if left alone.

"It would make sense if someone evil was the source," Seh'ethil agreed, nodding. Why that person, or thing, wanted anything to do with them was beyond his reasoning. "Could it have been the triforce that had those wolves after Link?" Seh'ethil thought out loud, rather quietly. Perhaps there was truely an evil being lurking in the mountains. And if this theory was true, they would have to be stopped.

Seh'ethil let Yeto and Yeta get back to their fun as he pondered these thoughts. When they were finished, the three began to head back the mansion. The archer was already devising a plan to defeat whatever evil thing it had been that had the wolves attack them, although he was moreso getting a head of himself as there was no sure way that there even was an evil being. Nor did he know where he should look. None the less, Seh'ethil would leave the details for later, and perhaps Yeto would have a better idea of possible whereabouts.

"Worry about it later, Link needs rest before we think of looking for evil wizards, if thats the case." When he went back inside he headed to the kitchen to make lunch, "hmm... what sounds good..." he said to himself, scratching under his chin. "Seh'ethil" Yeta said, trying to get his attention, "can you go check on Link while I help Yeto with lunch?" She asked him, she ran off to catch up with Yeto. Link was still asleep with Midna by his side, but she started to wake up little by little, pretty soon she was fully awake. "That was a nice nap" she said, stretching and yawning, she gave Link a kiss on the cheek and disappeared, giving back his shadow.

After the kiss he woke up himself, he slowly got out of bed stretching occasionally and he left his room to go find his missing hat and weapons which he just now noticed were gone. He was too busy looking around when he bumped into Seh'ethil in the hallway, he fell backwards onto the floor, "oof! Oh... sorry Seh'ethil, didn't see you there" he chuckled to himself as he got up and helped Seh'ethil up. "Man, I feel great today, best sleep I had in a long time... how are you?"
