David sat in the coffee shop, not sure what he was doing here. He just didn't belong in these kinda places. He was supposed to be meeting his long time best friend here to discuss something 'very' important. Or so she said over the phone. He looked out the window, impatient. David glanced at his cell, nothing yet. Of course, she still had 10 minutes to get there. Taking a sip from his soda (He refused to pay 5 dollars for a coffee here) he pondered what she had to tell him. There was no telling with her. To David, she was unpredictable. Of course, weren't all girls?
He sometimes missed the days on the playground when all you had to do with girls is run from them when they chased you, wanting kisses. He chuckled at the image of his best friend doing this, and gulped down the rest of his soda.
