The next class kind of came and went. Angelique had made a desicion. She would have to hang out with Draco a little less so that Snape wasn't always on his case. And with that in mind, she sat with Harry, Ron, and Hermione for lunch that day. She half socialized, and half worked on homework.

When Draco came to lunch, he saw Angelique with Harry. He paused as soon as he saw them, and someone hit him from behind. He lurched forward. After the initial shock, he stomped up to Angelique. "Angelique, what are you doing?! I thought...Harry?! You had to sit with Harry?! Come on!" He almost cursed Harry right then and there, but he had enough detention as it was.

Angelique looked up at him. "I'm getting homework help from Hermione." She said, standing. "It's not a big deal!" She added. "Please just calm down. It's not something worth making a commotion over, really it's not."

Draco threw up his hands. "I could have helped you with your homework. I'm not making a big deal! You...I...Now this! Angelique, I forbid you from hanging out with Harry, Hermione, and Ron," he hissed angrily. She was his girlfriend. Why was she doing this to him?

Angelique's jaw dropped. "Draco, you liar!" She said. She smacked him. Hard. "I can't believe you!" She said as she grabbed her books and walked away. She was so mad. He had said he wouldn't. The students had gone silent for the third time in as many days. Harry looked like he was fighting back laughter. Ron too. Hermione just frowned.

Draco's hand came up to his face where she had hit him. What was her problem?! Damn her! Draco grimaced. Damn it, she was right. Throwing an evil glare at Harry and Ron, he ran after her. "Angelique! Wait! Wait, damn it!" He tried catching up with her.

She kept walking until she made it into an old abandoned bathroom. The same one that moaning myrtle was in. She dropped her books on a counter and parked it against a wall. She was so mad. And her hand hurt from slapping him. She tried to calm herself down, but she was pissed. Completely, totally, and undeniably pissed of. "That liar..." She seethed under her breath. She couldn't beleive how easily he could say he wouldn't do something, then turn around and do it.

Draco turned a corner and lost Angelique He opened doors all throughout the hall, but didn't find her. Finally, he decided to check the bathroom. He found her crying against the wall. "Angelique, I'm sorry. I was wrong. But you were wrong, too. Why were you sitting with them? I wasn't that late. Why didn't you just wait for me? Maybe, maybe we..." He bit his tongue.

She stood up. "Because, you big twit! I was trying to keep you out of trouble!" She exclaimed, frustratedly wiping her eyes. "I always get you in trouble, so I figured I should stay away so that you didn't get in trouble..." She added. "It's not like I'm going to move on with Potter! I was just trying to keep you are out of trouble, you arse..." She sniffled, still rubbing at her eyes.

Draco looked hurt. "You think I care about that? You think I blame you for getting me in trouble? You really are stupid if you think I give a damn about getting in trouble! And besides, the way we're going, we're both going to be in detention together for a while, and I'm fine with that. What else could a guy ask for? Quality time with his girl. Alone. No one else. Well, except Snape hiding out in his office, but he doesn't really count. If you think that I care about those things, then maybe we shouldfn't be together at all."

She closed her eyes. "Well just how the hell am I supposed to know what you do and don't care about?! Half the time you're all affectionate and sweet, and the other half, you're cold and it feels like you would rather be elsewhere." She said. "I'm not a mind reader, Draco." She said. "And if you don't want to be together anymore, then go!" She added. She turned and walked to the other side of the bathroom.

She was done talking about this. If he didn't want to be with her, then she didn't care. Obviously they didn't have much if this was all they could withstand. She parked herself in a corner, and said nothing more.

Draco didn't leave. She hadn't told him to leave. Just leave if he didn't want her. But he did want her. He stood near teh entrance scraping the ground with his toe. He couldn't say anything. He wouldn't apologize. Just because she couldn't read his mind, couldn't she tell that he liked her? And when someone liked someone, they endured the trouble they got each otehr into. Didn't she know that?

She could hear him scraping his toe along the floor. She wiped her eyes. "Well?" She asked. She truly thought he was leaving. He had been the one who said maybe they shouldn't be together. She stood and went over to the sink and tried to turn it on to wash her face, only to have it not work at first, then spray her.

She backed up, wiping her face as Myrtle let out a rather pathetic "serves you right".

Draco walked over to her and silently helped her wiped off her face. He didn't know what to say to make it better anyway.

She looked up at him. "I... I don't want this to be over..." Angelique said quietly. Those were her true thoughts. She felt stupid right now. "I'm sorry..." She added.

Draco looked down. "Me neither," he whispered and took her hand. "But, we really need to trust each other better. Firstly, I'd like you to know that Harry Potter is my biggest enemy. I hate him more than any one in the world. That being said, I will no forbid you from being with him. I'll just hate every second you are with him. Or Granger, or Weasley. And I understand you want me to be nicer. Well, I'll try."

She nodded. "Alright. I'll trust you more..." She said. "I promise..." She leaned against him. She took a breath. "I must look rather silly, having had such a fit like this..." She said with an embarrassed grin, trying to lighten the mood.

Draco wrapped his arms around her waist behind her and rested his chin on her head. He swayed back and forth, dancing. "What are you talking about?" he whispered. "You always look silly. But I like it."

She blushed abit and grinned. "Glad it suits you." She said contently as they swayed. They had to be one of the must up and down couples to grace the halls of Hogwarts yet. But as long they could fix things, she was okay.

"Yeah," Draco said, somewhat sadly. He did not want their relationship to be like this. He wanted the relatinoship of two so totally in love, like in the movies and books, where nothing ever went wrong. But, this was reality

She sighed. "Don't sound so sad. We've got all the time in the world to work things out. Perfection doesn't happen overnight." She said, trying to cheer him up. She was bound and determined to try harder to keep things like what happened today from happening again.

"I'm fine," he said. "I know we have time. Just not as much time as you say we have. There comes a point in time where trying just doesn't cut it, and no matter how much time you have, it won't work." This was deeper thinking than Draco had ever come up with before, but he knew his thoughts to be sound.

She nodded. He was right. "I know..." She said. She closed her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder. "But for now, we do have some time, and I think this is something worth fighting for." She added, softly. "So I will fight for it."

Draco smiled. "That's what I like to hear. Fighting is fun. You should try it more often. You wanna come to my quidditch practice tonight after school?" He looked at his watch. "Oh my god! Lunch is almost over! We should get ot class." He let go of her, taking her simply by the hand and began to pull her out of the bathroom.

She let him pull her along. "Yes. I'll go to your quidditch practice." She said as they got out of the bathroom. "So, what class do you have next?" She asked. All she knew about his schedule was that he had potions first thing.
