((Sorry it took me so long to respond...I've been very sick...))

She laughed, "There's a very nice steakhouse near here that may help us with our blood cravings. They also have a very nice merlot that tastes wonderful when going down with an extremely rare steak." She looked at him and matched his eyes with hers. She could tell that he was holding back a little, but it made her feel welcome around him. "So would you like to go there or are your tastes for human food a little more refined than that? If they are...I have plenty of places around that may help satisfy your needs." She smiled evily.

He smilled back and just chuckled a little. He loved the sound of her laugh. "Well it doesn't matter to me really, ladies choice?" he both stated and questioned. His tastes were not really that refined but he did know how to dine with the best of company. "Will you do the honor of choosing my dear?" Vaun said gesturing in front of him.

Katrina smiled at him and nodded, "Well then, let's go to the steak house and enjoy a nice and tasty meal." She didn't know if he would be okay with it, but she took his hand in hers and lead the way. "I don't know if you are comfortable with this, but I feel like it is the easiest way for me to get us to where we need to be. Plus...I would like to think that it is kind of fun holding my hand." She giggled and then smiled at him, looking deeply into his eyes.

Vaun just nodded and smiled when she said for them to get going. Katrina grabben his hand and it felt nice it didn't feel exactly like a human he was used to that, it felt like silk flowing inbetween his fingers. Katrina's giggle brought him out of this thought, He loved the sound of her giggle it was like bells jinggleing. He gave her a soft smile and nodded again when she met his eyes. "Well it's fun for me any ways." Vaun said.

She smiled at him and continued to giggle. She only giggled when she was nervous or if she felt uncomfortable, which definitely was not the case. "I am having so much fun just being around another person of my kind. I can't believe that you are here and that I am holding your hand...the fact that I can touch you absolutely baffles me." Her cheeks were a slight pink from saying these things to him, but for some reason she just couldn't hide her feelings. No matter how hard she tried, he did something to her and she didn't really mind it at all.

She lead him into the restaurant and to a table, overlooking the lake. "I love this table. I try to sit here every time that I come in for a steak. It is the best view in the restaurant and it is the spot that is the most far away from human contact...well other than the waiter."

Vaun smiled when she giggled, it was so cute he liked the sound very much. He felt like he could really be himself around her. Yea I am enjoying being around you also you have such a cute personality I love the color in your cheeks." Vaun said touching one of her cheeks with his free hand and smiled softly at her. They sat at a table in the resturant that had a great view of the lake. "Yes it is a lovely view." Vaun said then chuckled at her comment about human contact besides the waiter. "Of coarse and he is only here for a minuet then you don't see him much after that." Vaun put in afterward. "So how often do you come here?" He asked.

She blushed more when he touched her cheek. She hadn't felt a mans touch since before she and her ex-husband split up. She did miss the attention. "I try to come here at least once a week. I can't let myself indulge in human flesh very often because I work with them, but I do enjoy the occasional steak." She smiled as the waiter came and poured them two glasses of the finest red wine in the restaurant. "There's nothing like a red wine with a juicy steak." She smiled and then giggled nervously. "Did you mean what you said earlier...about the me being cute thing? Do you really think I'm cute...." She turned her head to the side and waited for his response.

Her deeper blush just made him smile more, he hadn't seen a woman blush since he was with his wife many years ago. "Yes, I try to get my needs supplied without human casualties...like blood banks and willing donor and such, since I was married to a human, I couldn't harm a human again." Vaun said thoughtfully with a touch of sadness. Then the Waiter came out with a fine red wine and poured them a glass each. He nodded to her comment. "Yes I do enjoy a good cup of wine now and then." he listened to her timid question about if he really ment what he said about her being cute, and he thought that it wasn't really a strong enough word for her beauty. Vaun sat there and pondered this for a minuet seeing that she turned her head and looked out the window waiting for him to answer, so he finally said. "No...your beautiful..." Vaun said in a honey sweet soft tone he was unsure of how she would respond, he didn't want to scare her off now that he had another vampire to keep him company so he looked down after saying it.

She smiled at him and then grabbed his hand over the table and placed it in hers. "Thank you. I've never been complimented like this before. I'm so happy right now, I can't even tell you." She picked his had up and kissed the top side of it, her soft lips leaving a tiny red mark from the kiss when she lifted her head. "I don't really know what to say. It's been a really long time since I've been on a date and even held someones hand. You are one of the most amazing people that I have ever met and I would like to continue to do this with you. Like...go on dates and maybe even cuddle?" She looked at him and smiled more. She was afraid that what she just told him may have been to soon, but she knew that she could not keep it from him. She had a complex...she had a very guilty conscience and couldn't keep anything to herself for long.

Vaun smiled warmly at her then looked down at the lip marks she left on his skin, her lips had been so soft and smooth he wondered what they would feel like on his...but he was getting ahead of himself. she was going out a hundred miles and hour about not ever meeting anyone like him and not dating for a while and wanting to date him and even cuddle. Vaun of coarse loved cuddling and he smiled largely at the thought of dating and cuddling with her. "Yes, I would like that very much as well my sweet." Vaun said picking up her hand to kiss it and looking in her eyes and smiling.

She blushed so hard that she felt like all the blood she had in her body was going to pop out of her nose. She laughed out of nervousness and then looked into his eyes. "Thank you..I never dreamed that you could exist. When the time comes I will tell you everything about my past and what went on. I'm sure that you will eventually become curious." She smiled again and then looked down at the tiny red watch she had on her wrist. "I really need to be going back to work. If you want to head back with me you can, if not then I will see you tomorrow. I will know when your around...my heart will start beating." She smiled and then kissed his cheek, slipping a piece of paper with her address into his coat pocket. "If you want to find me outside of work...that's my address. You are welcome whenever you please." She smiled and then began to walk away.

Vaun listened to her saying that she never thought he would ever excist and this made a light tone of blush touch his pale cheeks. "Yea...me to..." Vaun said softly. He nodded when she said she had to go back to work and smiled when she said she would know he was around cause it would make her heart beat. Vaun saw her put her address in his coat pocket and kiss him on his cheek, this made him turn a deep shade a red which stood out from his skin alot more touching his cheek where she touched it after a second when he got over the shock of it he got up and followed her. "Can walk you back to work?" van asked streatching her arm out for her.

She gladly took his arm and placed it around her waist. She had sensed that he was still not used to dating and wanted to help guide him into the process, slowly. "Thank you...I feel very comfortable with you beside me. I know that no one can come after me as long as you're here." She lead him back to the doors that lead into the bar area,"So are you going to come in for a while or are you going to move on and think about the next time that you're going to see me?" She smiled with a little pink blush in her cheeks. She wanted to show confidence, but not to much. She knew that if she showed him that she could be there no matter what, he could feel good enough that he could feel the same for her.

Vaun smiled when she put his arm around her waist and said that she was very comfortable by his side. This gave him a warm feeling from the inside out. "Of coarse, I would never let anyone harm you." Vaun stated as a fact. They arrived at the door of the place and she aske dif he was going to come or just go home and think about when they would meet again. "Hmmm how about a little of both....?" Vaun said teasing a bit but still serious and not quite wanting leave her yet. "Or unless you think I will be a disstaction to your work then I shall bid you good night milady." Vaun said just incase she didn't want him to stay.
