Not your ordinary vampire. Sasha 1985 x Seraphina_M
Vaun walked to the window of his high rise appt. and out to his belcony feeling the wind breeze across his face as he looked upon the sleeping city watching the few people scurring about desolete streets and wondered what it would be like to be one of them, he stood there for a minnute in silence then turned back into his appt. and started pacing back and forth debating on what to do there usally wasn't alot to do and since he started to just keep his blood in his fridge that took hunting out. He finally decided that it was still early enough to go to a club and watch the humans. So Vaun shook out his dark brown shaggy hair put on an nice shirt and black slack with his long black leather trench coat and black dress shoes he jumped off his belcony which he did alot at night when people coudn't see him and got on his blck and silver crotch rocket and tore off toward the club he always went to The Contented Soul it was a very dark and some what gothic bar which was to his tastes. Vaun arrived and parked his bike in the usual spot and head in the bouncer knew him well enough not to give him trouble.
((I hope that sounds good you can play a male or female i left it open ended and sorry for the spelling)) |
((Thanks! I have the perfect female!))
Katrina had entered that same bar earlier to start her job as a bartender. She had been doing it since she decided that fitting in with the humans was a better idea than eating them and keeping them afraid. Not to mention, she could really catch them this way with her outfits and her way of speaking. She had a beautiful curvy body and was not afraid to show it. This night she decided that she was going to wear a black and red corset, to match her hair, and a black leather mini skirt. She began to clean off the bar, when she noticed the man walking in and talking to the bouncer. Something smelled different about him, he smelled like a vampire. Her brow raised as he watched him walk in and she followed him with her eyes. |
Vaun finished talking to the bouncer and walked into the dark bar he could sense someone watching him but he didn't pay too much attention to it even though he sensed it might be another vampire...but it didn't matter he wasn't here for anything but entertainment so he picked a seat at the back with his back against the wall and ordered a beer watching the people drinking and dancing and socialising, this always amused him. But as much as he wanted to he couldn't get that sense of someone staring at him so he decided that the best way to get rid of it would be to confront it so he turned his head and right away he saw this beautiful woman staring at him in the strangest way but he sensed that she was a vampire also but he found her intriguing so he didn't stare harshly at her just inquisitively.
Katrina smiled to him as she walked over and handed him his beer. She watched him cautiously and continued to smile. "Here ya go, " she said with a thick Irish accent. "My name is Katrina, you let me know if you might need anything. I would love to serve you." Her smile turned into a tiny smirk as she watched his eyes react to her movement. She looked at him and turned, noticing that there were a few people waiting on a drink. "If you want to stay right here, I will designate this as your spot and no one will interfere with us. I need to do my job for a minute, but I would like to talk to you more, since the only one that has really talked so far is me." She walked away slowly and then helped the few people that were waiting. She was quick with the drink making. but she was very careful with it too. She hoped that he was watching her and thinking of something to say
Vaun saw as the woman approched him with his beer in hand and started talking to him in a thick irish accent but talked so much that he couldn't get a word in but she said this spot as "his spot" this made him quirk his eyebrow and watch her as she walked over making and delivering drinks. He had a few questions for her but he wasn't sure if this was a safe enough place to ask them so he just continued to watch her work seeing how graceful she was and that she had a very nice smile she seemed very friendly and out going opposite of him he was more of a loner and shy, he liked to people watch while it looked like she like to be in the center of attention.
Vaun just sat there drinking his beer watching her trying to think of something to say. |
She eventually finished what she was doing and walking over to where he was once again. "So...Got anything you want to say to me or ask me? I'm a very interesting girl once you get to know me...I'm not exactly what you would say...normal either." She smiled, showing just the tiniest bit of her two levels of fangs. She was an ancient and had been around since the pre-medieval era, so she was very knowledgeable in her ways. "So...If you want to ask me something go ahead or..if you want to go and talk somewhere else I would be willing to do that too. The customers know that I have things to do, so they will ask the other girls to get things for them. I can step out for a few minutes." She looked at him and awaited his answer eagerly.
"Yes I do have a few questions for you, and yes I would like to go somewhere more private to ask them." Vaun said with his honey smooth voice. He wasn't exactly a young vampire he had been around for hundreds of years now he really didn't pay to much attention to the time passing except maybe the styles but if there was one style he like more than anything it would be the Gothic style dark yet stylish.
"Well then, let's get out of here and go somewhere more private so that you can ask me those questions." She moved out of the small gap that was keeping her behind the bar. She stood beside him and extended her hand. "Let's go to the lake...it's a good place to talk and a nice escape from the living world. I go there to think a lot. I enjoy being able to hear my own thoughts." She smiled again and then waited for him to stand next to her.
Vaun got up from his seat and stood next to her. "Lead the way then milady." Vaun said gesturing in front of them. ((Sorry its so short I'm having writters block at the moment.))
"Your manners impress me sir." She smiled and then lead him out the door, winking at the bouncer as she lead him out. She didn't turn to look at him as she watched the surroundings, making sure that no one was following them. She didn't like people to interfere with her plans. "Well we should be there in just a few minutes and you can ask away...And trust me when I say that you can ask me anything you want. I am a very outgoing woman." Her smirk widened as they arrived to a beautiful lake spanning over 30 miles.
She turned and looked directly into his eyes, "Well this is it. I hope this is a nice enough place for you to ask me what you want to." |
"Why thank you milady." Vaun said as he walked along with her towards this beautiful beach that must span at least 30 miles and looked gorgious after dark. then when Katrina turned toward him and said he could ask anything he wanted cause she was quite out going he turned to look her in the eyes. "Your a vampire correct?" Vaun started off with the easyist question first.
She smiled, "I'm sure you knew that the minute you walked into my bar. But to answer thoroughly, yes...I'm not just any vampire though. I'm an ancient. I've been around a while and seen a lot." She looked out to the water, she was obviously hiding something. She had a past that she did not speak about with anyone. It was a dark past and a very painful one. She shook her head of the thoughts and then turned to look at him again. "So I know you have something better than that...I mean, when you find another vampire you don't just ask them if they are what they are." She laughed and looked at him, cocking her head to the side. "So how old are you if I may ask?" She was curious and wanted to know about him too, even though they were there because he wanted to know her.
"Well I like to do my questions one at a time, so that the person has a minuet to answer before I ask the next one." Vaun told her. She asked the question he knew she would ask but was hoping she wouldn't cause he never kept track of his age, he couldn't really remember the last time someone asked him how old he was and he actually told them. So he decided to give her a guess and the truth, it seemed fair. "Well I think I kinda lost track at 2000." Vaun said rubbing the back of his neck feeling like an idiot for not know exactly how old he was all he knew was he was around for a very very long time. He hoped she would accept his answer and not ask him the usual follow up question of why he didn't know how old he was and why he didn't keep track of it. He never told anybody that and when he said that he never told anybody that it always got very acword (sp?) so Vaun just stood there uneasily trying not look at her reaction.
She smiled, showing him that she was okay with his answer. "I understand how easy it is to lose yourself in this day and age. I mean...after I hit 3000 I thought that it was a good time to just give people a quick estimate of how old I really am. Although telling the humans how old you are is the best part. My age in human is 24." She laughed and then smiled at him again. She had hoped that he would grow more comfortable with her as their conversation kept going. She wanted to get to know another vampire so badly, if only because all she had known was the Lycans that had taken her in when her family left her behind. She thought that she was alone and there was no one like her in the world. He was truly a breath of fresh air to her and she had no idea how to convey that to him.
"Yea I know what ya mean. My human age is 25 so that's what I usually tell humans I don't usually mess with my real age, its to hard to keep track of." HE was really gratefull that she didn't take him for an idiot. He really didn't see or talk to many vampires but the ones he did talk to were all male he didn't think there were any female vampires out there and he was glad he had found one that was so beautiful and experianced, not some young wild thing that was only 500 years old or lower he really wanted to learn more about her. "How did you become a vampire?" He thought he would just throw the most difficult question out there and see if she would answer him or not.
She smiled at him and the laughed. "I was born a vampire...my mother was bitten when I was still in the womb and well...needless to say the vampire who bit my mother had very strong genes and so I inherited all of what he had given her. When my mother died, the vampire actually lifted me out of her body and took me. He discovered quickly that I didn't want to be where he was. I bit him a bunch of times and I really haven't seen him since that day when he decided that because I was so displeased he was going to leave me behind." She looked away a moment, the thoughts of the past did hurt. "Then I was raised by Lycans. They are not so bad...though when I married one it raised a few eyebrows." She laughed and then looked at him, hoping that what she had just told him would not wave how he thought of her. She wanted to get to know him and maybe even see how far their relationship may go.
"Oh really? Born a vampire? That's very interesting i have never heard of that before." Vaun said very interested letting a little of his Russian accent slip through a little, he tried to keep it accentless but when he got very ingrossed in a subject or got really excited it tended to slip through a little. "Uh yea I've never had any problem with the lycans I never bother them they never bother me. I figure I don't need to start a war with them just cause there not vampires." Vaun said think of his own past life. he tried really hard to aviod think about it so he put it out of his head as soon as it came into it.
She looked at him kind of unexpectedly, "Really? You've never heard of a pureblood? We are rare...I met one once..when I was still with the pack and well it didn't exactly work out well for the poor dear. He said the wrong thing and the leader of the pack ripped his throat open." She shrugged, "It's a fact of life. They won't attack a vampire if it does not attack them first. They learned from me as I learned from them." She walked around the side of the lake for a moment and then kicked a rock in. "Do you have a past with the Lycans too? I'm finding you more and more interesting as this conversation progresses." She smiled at him and then hoped that he would talk to her about himself as they kept going.
"Yea I really haven't talked to too many vampires. No I haven't had to much dealings with lycans I grew up in Russia and lived a human life til I was 24 and was going out to celebrate with my family for my 25th birthday and I got grabbed up by a very strong vampire and was told that I could never see my family again cause if I saw them again either I would kill them out of blood lust or he would out of worrie that I would leave him which I did anyways a few dozen years down the line we ended up getting in battle with another clan of vampires and I excused myself because I really didn't want to fight them so I left my maker and went on my own and I have really been on my own ever since I have had the ocational human friend and ocational human girlfriend but they usually run screaming when they find out that I am a vampire and are 2000 some years old so I usually do better on my own." Vaun said looking across the lake absent mindly kicking a rock into the calm water his face very distraght he told her the basics of his story the rest he would have to save for another time.
She walked over closer to him and watched as he kicked the rock in the water. "Well I'm very sorry that your master was a bad one. He should have given you the choice of immortality instead of just throwing it on you like that." She absent mindlessly stroked his back. "What was it like to be with a human partner? I have never even tried to hold a human relationship. I was married to a Lycan for a few years and it was an interesting thing...but it was also the only relationship that I have ever had. People are afraid of me...it's not everyday that you see a real vampire." She smiled and then looked into his eyes. "You are very interesting and well...I don't even know who what your name is...Have I earned the right to know that?" She cocked her head to the side and smiled very cute like in his general direction, seeing if just maybe she could get a little rush out of him.
"Umm yea, thanks." Vaun replied to the first question. "It was fun I guess cause humans are funny creatures, I guess since I wasn't always a vampire people somehow aren't as afraid of me hey feel bad for me because I was changed against my will so they know I don't do it by choice and since i recently stopped hunting people and invested in just getting blood from blood banks they don't see me as such a threat. And my name is Vaun." Vaun said cracking a small smile as she looked him that way. "I also find you very interesting." Vaun said with a smile his own.
She smiled, "Vaun...that is a very fitting name for you. It fits your personality. I wish I knew what it was to be human for a day, but at the same time...they have such a plain existence you know? All the know is what is in there world...they don't know about the plains of existence or anything of that kind. I'm glad that we are on the same page." She walked a little away from him and then spun around to look him in the eyes again. "So where did you settle in around here? I found a little cabin in the woods that no human will go into. It's close to the mountains and this lake...and well it's also near the Lycans. I like to be near them...they are my family after all." She laughed and then continued to spin for a moment. She was very excited about meeting someone of her own kind and actually talking and getting to know him. It was better than being in that stuffy bar all night. "So anything else that you want to know about me Vaun?"
Vaun just laughed at her. "Yes I guess it does doesn't it?" Vaun said between chuckles. he saw her walk away ab it then spin on her heels and look him straight in the eyes and ask him where his residence was. "I've taken to this top floor appt. in the city with a nice balcony overlooking the city streets. I like to look at the humans walking around like rats in a maze completly unaware of what might be watching them." Vaun said looking out at the lake not seeing it with a very intresting look on his face. He looked back at Katrina and smiled. "Yea there are some benifits of being a vampire but there are also benifits of being human, some of those human things I miss sometimes...." Vaun said the smile fading off his face.
She looked at him while his smile faded, "Why the long face? I mean...you can still do some of the things that humans can do. I think that my favorite thing about all of that is the things that they think that we are hurt by. I mean, yea if you impale me in my heart I'm going to die, but then again...the garlic thing...it makes me laugh everytime I think about it. " She smiled and patted his shoulder, trying not to blush. She was kind of starting to like him, but she didn't want to say anything to scare him away. It was rare to find someone so like her, especially being another vampire. "So...it is getting around the time for dinner...would you like to grab something to eat?" She smiled and waited for him to hopefully accept her invitation.
Vaun just shrugged. "I dunno I guess so." Vaun could but crack a smile as she mentioned all the myths humans made up and belived about how to hurt a vampire. "Yea it is pritty silly." Vaun said his smile returning. Vaun looked at her and thought about how she seemed alot like him and how he never thought he'd meet a vampire like him let alone a woman and such a beautiful one at that. "Yea I think it's about time for dinner. Where would you like to go?" Vaun said just as his stumic growled and he blushed. He was starting to like her and he didn't want to make a fool out of himself.
