Tatsuo walked down the streets of Konoha silently, passing people without a glance. He didn't have a destination, but just needed to wander to feel better. His dark blue hair shadowed his emotionless gray eyes as he continued walking. A man bumped into him, but didn't apologize. Tatsuo was used to being invisible though. He always had been, and he always will be.

Neina fixed her top and looked in her mirror. She turned this way and that, she was currently getting ready with one of her closest friends in order to get ready for her date. Her boyfriend was going to be there any moment. She ran a hand through her blonde highlighted pink hair and smiled. "There, you're all ready." said Mani, her best friend. Neina nodded and grabbed her bag and headed out of the door. She walked out of the door and passed, unknowingly to her, the "invisible" Tatsuo. Skyler walked up to her and kissed her quickly, "Let's go." He said as he walked towards the resturuant down the street with Neina.

Tatsuo widened his eyes and turned to watch the blond girl walk off with her new boyfriend. He stood there watching for a moment before sighing and continuing down the road. 'She's just a girl, why should I be bothered by her...' He thought. But his feet began to move on its own as he turned around and followed Neina. His instinct was telling him something bad was going to happen to her today. And knowing his clan ability, his instinct was always right.

Neina was talking with her boyfriend while they sat at the table. She was playing with a loose strand of hair boredly, she found Skyler attractive but he was boring and dull in a way. He only ever talked about himself and was somewhat of a controlling jerk. She sighed as the conversation died down as the food came. They finished eating and she got up and went out with Skyler. They went past a building with an alley, and next thing she knew she was being shoved up against the wall harshly in the deep, dark, dreary ally way where no one could see them...

(Dont worry, I'm not punctual about reply times)

Tatsuo had watched Neina and Skylar's date from a different part of the restaurant. As he watched, he contemplated about what he was doing. 'What the hell am I thinking? Whatever's gonna happen to her has nothing to do with me.' He thought. But due to his weird, unnecessary sense of justice, he still followed the two out of the restaurant and down a dark alley. 'You've got to be kidding me.' Tatsuo thought as he stopped to hide behind a couple of boxes, 'He's not gonna do something cliché now.' He watched as Skylar started getting physical with Neina and twitched in anger. "What do you think you're doing?" He asked as he walked out towards the two.

Neina glanced over at where the voice came from and seen Tatsuo. Skyler was pressing her up against the wall and had a hand around her throat. She was having trouble trying to breathe. Moments later she passed out from the lack of air. Once she fell limp SKlyer allowed her to fall to the ground slowly, as he turned around, "Whatever the hck I want with my girlfriend. After all she belongs to me and I can do with her as I wish. Got a problem aboutit?"

(Okay then)

Tatsuo just kept glaring at Skylar. Before the other guy realized it, the black haired boy was behind him and pointing a kunai knife at his neck. "Yeah, I got a problem with you. Now do you really wanna piss off a Chuunin?" He threatened.

Skyler tensed and it was obvious. Beads of sweat rolled down his for head, his parents hadn't wanted him to be a ninja so he remained a regular civilian. He took a deep breath then smirked, "You wouldn't want to commit murder to someone who did noting wrong, do you?" He said, not noticing Neina starting to stir.

"Oh I'm not going to kill you. You're not worth it. Why don't I ask the lovely Neina what she wants to do with you, Neina?" He just glanced down at the girl's awakening form.

Neina rubbed her head as she sat up, it took a bit to register what was happening. Then she heard a voice asking what to do with Skyler, she looked over at them. Skyler was glaring at her, "Umm..... tie him up after beating him some then leave him back here for the rats." She said distastefully. She slowly stood up, the world appeared to be spinning.

"Then her wish is my command." Tatsuo announced with an evil grin. In a matter of minutes, Skylar was tied up, bruised, and on the dirty ground. Tatsuo dusted his hands off before turning to Neina. "You okay?" He asked.

Neina laughed at the sight of her es-boyfriend, "How pathetic..." she muttered then looked at Tatsuo. "Yeah, just bit dizzy, nothing a little medicine can't fix." she said with a shrug, "Well, I have to go now, I am supposed to meet up with some friends. See you around." Although she knew it was unlikely atleast for a while because of her social status and his. She turned to go and began walking dow the ally.

Tatsuo watched her go. The two of them belonged in different worlds, so why did he still watch her? He blinked when his instinct shot up again. "Watch out for that pole." He called out calmly.

Neina turned as soon as he had said this and opened her mouth to speak, "What pole-" she was cut off when she ran into it. She fell down onto her butt, she stood up groaning, "Ouch. Weell, see you I guess." she said as she waved and headed to the left out onto the street.

Tatsuo stifled a laugh. That so made his day. Then he made his way out of the alley through the other direction. He should be getting home right now.

(Is Neina a ninja?)

Neina was still rubbing her butt which was still soar from the fall. She then relized she forgot her purse. She ran back into the ally and grabbed it, then started to head back home. Right now there was nothing happening in the village, it appeared as if what happened in the aally never existed and nothing wouldbe different between her and Sklyer. She knew that nothing would ever appear the same way as before.

(She should, how else is Tatsuo and Neina gonna spend more time together?)

Tatsuo walked into his home. No one seemed to be there right now. He headed for his room when he saw a scroll on a nearby table. It was addressed to him with the Hokage's seal on him.

(alright, I see your point. She is a ninja then)

As soon as Neina entered her house she noticed a letter laid out on the table. It was adressed to he but someone had appeared to have read it. She walked over and picked it up, crious as to what it was. It was a message from the hokage telling her to be at the bridge no later than ten the next morning. It stated nothing further, she folded it up and tucked it into her belt puch and went into her bathroom in order to take a shower.

Tatsuo's letter told him to meet at the bridge the next morning around ten. He wondered if it was a new mission. That's when he heard the front door open and quickly went up the steps to his room. If it was one of his parents, he really didn't feel like talking to either of them tonight.

The next morning, Tatsuo silently left his household, leaving only a brief note to his parents telling him about his mission. He doubted they would read it, but it gave him hope that his parents might want to read it. The dark haired boy got to the bridge at around 9 and spent the rest of his time leaning against the railing.

Neina walked out of her room when she heard a door open. She smiled brightly at seeing her mom, she ran up and gave her a hug. She told her mom about the note, but she already knew since she had been the one that opened it. Her and her mom were really close and she hated how Neina had to go on missions like this. Her dad always worked and was harfly ever home. She said good night and went to sleep.

She woke up around 7 and started to get ready, she through on her usual ninja attire. A simple red belly tanktop and a skirt that had slits up the sides which was black and a pair of red shorts under neath that. She tide her headband around her waste and wrote a note saying she had left. She arrived at the bridge around 9:15 and seen Tatsuo leaning on the railing.

Tatsuo adjusted his Konoha forehead protector around his head and turned to catch a glimpse of himself on the river's surface. He had on baggy dark blue cargo pants and a black sleeveless shirt. Bandages were wrapped around the forearms of his arms and he also had on black fingerless gloves. The sound of the bridge creaking made him look up.

Neina stood there dressed in her ninja attire. Tatsuo slightly paled when he realized that could only mean one thing. "Don't tell me you got a letter to come here too..." He said, almost letting his displeasure show. It's not like he didn't like Neina, it's just that he never, and I mean never had a partner on a mission before. Not since that time...

Neina stopped next to him, only about a foot away, "I guess I wouldn't if you don't want me too...." she frowned, "I came home last night to see it opened. I almost refused, knowing how my mom says she hates me going on these long missions. She told me to just go... so here I am..." She said in a monotone voice, not letting emotion be expressed. She got the feelig he didn't want her around for some reason and she felt hurt in a way.

Tatsuo mentally cursed. He didn't mean to sound like he didn't want her around. "It's fine. I can't decide whether or not you need to stay. And don't take it personally. I'm just not used to working with other people on missions." He reassured.

Neina nodded and looked out into the misty water, her thoughts else where. She kept on wondering how he missed seeing and getting to know this boy, she was sure she had known him for a while... but not truely. She looked up at the sound of footsteps.

Tatsuo also looked up to see a familiar silver-haired man. He smirked a bit. "You're early for once Kakashi." He announced. The older man just smiled under his mask. "Glad to see you too Tatsuo." He greeted. He turned to the blond girl and waved. "You must be Neina, am I right?" He asked.
