The day had dawned bright and warm, but as Zakary Levitz edged through the woods separating the vampire and human territories of Avalon, he began to feel colder. The sun slid behind a cloud as Zak stepped over the imaginary line that cut the woods in half. This side of the woods was much darker, and colder, and Zak was beginning to wonder why he hadn't brought a jacket with him. Pulling his plain white tee shirt a little further downwards, in an attempt to warm himself, Zak also shoved his hands into his bagging jeans. Zak reached the edge of the woods and kept walking, a little quicker now, and with his head down. He didn't want to be caught.
Eventually, he came to a tall black wall, with an iron gate set into it. Zak pushed a large, but not very heavy, boulder towards the gate. Teeth chattering, he stepped up onto the boulder and looked over the wall. A large house loomed over him, most of the windows shut tightly with the curtains drawn. Zak hoisted himself up so he could sit on the wall, legs hanging over the side that faced the house. As long as he kept his head down, he was sure no one would pay him any mind. Whoever lived in the house probably wasn't home, anyway. And that's when he heard the door open...

Vicktor paced around his large living room. "This is so dull I really wish that I wouldn't have to wait til nightfall to go out of my castle, it's not like he was really going to be seen or tempted or anything cause humans never ventured over this far, if they knew what was good for them. Not every vampire was as good tempered as Vicktor, yes Vicktor had a temper, one you wouldn't want to provoke but he tried to feed as little as possiable. He didn't enjoy inflicting pain...even on humans. Vicktor soon realized that if he continued this pace he would wear a hole in the floor. The only thing Vicktor wanted to do was go out and explore about maybe do some human watching, he found humans curious creatures, and always wanted to find out more about them but he knew the rules "No human contact..." Vicktor muttered to himself peeking out of the shutters towards the walls that not only kept the humans out but kept the vampires in more of a principal than an actual deterant because vampires could jump it but it was just there to remind them of the rules, Vicktor hated it. Vicktor was about to look away in disgust when he thought he saw something out on top of the wall...."Impossiable...." He said to himself but strained his already excellent eyes. Vicktor walked over to the door and slowly opened it up not wanting to make to much noise and not wanting to scare off whatever he saw, if he indeed saw anything at all. Vicktor looked out at the wall with a questioning look "Hello?" he called out softly trying not to stir the vampire community. "Maybe I'm just imagining it....or just wishfull thinking" Vicktor said softly to himself chuckling at the end. But he waited out there standing in his door way for a moment. Vicktor was quite a hansome fellowhe had long black hair that reached just below his shoulders that was tied losely at the nape of his neck, he had the pale skin of his kind but bright emerald eyes he wore a lose black shirt with a large v cut into the neck line exsposing part of his defined chest, he wore that over a simple pair of blue jeans and stood out there in bare feet, not that he wore shoes alot any ways. Vicktor put his hands in his pocket hoping that that something would respond.
(sorry took so long hope you like my opening)

{It's fine! Um, do you think you could use more paragraph breaks? And I'm really sorry it took so long!}
Zak kept his eyes on the vampire as it stepped out out and leaned in the doorway. Unable to help himself, Zak let his eyes roam over the vampire, taking everything in, particularly the defined chest. Looking at the vampire's bare feet, Zak begin shivering again. He really was freezing, and was sure that the house would be slightly warmer than it was outside. And if not, well... at least he'd be closer to a vampire than any of his friends had ever been.
Silently, Zak slid off the wall. He landed on the ground with a soft thump, almost falling. As he caught himself, however, Zak was sure that he felt his ankle twist. Softly cursing under his breath, Zak rubbed at his ankle; then, he began walking across the yard. A few moments later, he stood before the vampire. Shoving his hands into his pocket, he shivered again. Dressed as he was in a short-sleeved tee-shirt and thin jeans, he couldn't understand why the vampire wasn't cold. The vampire was bare-footed, for Pete's sake. It was ridiculous, and something Zak couldn't figure out. "Erm... hi...?" he said, sounding slightly foolish, his word coming out more like a question.

(ok I will try)
Vicktor heard a soft scrapping sound then a soft thump, he knew he heard something this time! Then he saw him a young human male dresed in a t-shirt and jeans walking towards him unafraid of him but shivering from the cold.
The human came right up to him and said hi, this stunned Vicktor for a moment but managed to reply. "Hello long way from home huh human? What are you doing all the way out here? Don't you know it's dangerous to cross the border?" Vicktor said trying to sound dangerous so that he knew that this was not a good place for a human.
Vicktor stepped back gesturing a hand into the warm house, he knew he couldn't stay out there for to long risking being spotted by another vampire. He knew the others would not be as grasious as him.
"Come inside please, it is cold and you might be spotted by another vampire. They are not as...well tempered as I." Vicktor said and looked at the human waiting for him to respond.
(was that better?)

Zak listened to the vampire speak, without saying anything, and trying not to judge. However, being called human made his eyes narrow slightly. Often, when vampires were referred to as that, especially to their faces, they attacked. It was usually not anything fatal, and so the humans couldn't press charges. Many vampires called humans by their race as a taunt, knowing that there was nothing the humans could do. However, this vampire didn't seem to be making fun of Zak. At least, he didn't think so...
"Don't care," Zak said, shrugging. "Vampires here haven't killed a human in years and years- it's illegal." What Zak didn't mention, however, was that vampires often took humans hostage, refusing to let them go. What Zak had heard was that the humans were turned into vampires, and forced to become servants. But he didn't care- he'd never let himself be turned. Zak glanced into the house. It was dark, but warm, and he was still freezing his bum off. He slowly walked into the house.

Vicktor crossed his arms across his chest. "You should care cause theres worse things than death." Vicktor said solomely. He stepped back to allow him into his home. "What is your name? My name is Vicktor." Vicktor said trying to make conversation. Vicktor walked in behind the boy and closed the door lightly as to not startle him and went over to a large plush chair and sat down in front of a nice roaring fire.
(sorry so short bad case of writers block)

Zak shrugged as the vampire spoke. "Whatever," he muttered. "There's nothing worse than death... Except, perhaps, slow death or something like that." He stepped further into the house and stopped a couple feet in, watching the vampire. Upon hearing the door click shut, Zak couldn't help feeling a pang of slight insecurity. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea, him being along in a house with a strange vampire. Walking slowly, he followed the vampire to what seemed to be the living room. Not particularly wanting to sit in one of the chairs, he'd be more vulnerable that way, Zak stood to the side of the vampire, just out of arm reach. "M'name is Zak," he said, grudgingly giving up his real name.
