"I don't doubt that you're not a useless child, what I do doubt is that you have ever really come up against a fully turned warewolf in desperate need of raw and living meat," he said coldly. Then he sighed. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to snap. Things have been... difficult of late, my nerves have been practically worne away, though I know that's no excuse."
Looking at the food, smelling it, his stomach grumbled again and Dannyl scowled at it, as though to tell it to shut up and stop giving him away. "I'll manage," he said, taking the bowl and spoon and feeding himself some of it. As he ate, he said, "If you have any questions, about myself, my kind or whatever, feel free to ask. I owe you honesty at the very least." |
"Doubt all you want Dannyl. I have been around a fully formed werewolf." He stated in a tone that showed he was rather annoyed, though that tone vanished almost as soon as it had appeared when Dannyl appologized. "And so you know, things have been difficult for me too." He said as he handed the bowl of soup over to Dannyl and watched the man start to eat. He sighed lightly as his mind drifted back to when he was a child and he trusted the man infront of him with all his heart. But now, dispite what Dannyl had said, he couldn't help but think that the man would just lie and lull him into a false sense of security once more, rather than speak honestly. "No. I have no questions." He said as he shifted his gaze down to the floor infront of himself. Sure, he knew he was probably wrong about thinking Dannyl would lie, but he really didn't know what to think now that he was around again.

((hope you didn't mind my time skip, if you had something specific you wanted them to do just let me know and i'll edit it out))
Dannyl sighed softly to himself. Yes, things were difficult for the both of them. And then he had to rock up and make them even more difficult. Slyth probably should have left him with the human circus, but then he probably would have if he had known who he was then. He doubted that Slyth didn't have any questions but he didn't push the matter; he was the guest here after all and it wouldn't do to be rude. He was curious about this other warewolf Slyth had known though, especially since he said he had known him fully turned. Most, he knew, would find the scent alone of Slyth's flesh too delicious to turn away from and it was only with a strong willpower that Dannyl had managed all those years ago. He wouldn't ask though, he thought he had already put too much pressure on Slyth with his showing up. He merely remembered it to ask about later, should things between them warm somewhat. *three weeks later* Dannyl remained in bed for most of the three weeks while he regained his strength once more. Not once did he even so much as go to touch Slyth, let alone make any movement against him. After months - or was it years? Dannyl couldn't remember - of neglect it would take a nomral human months to recover. But Dannyl was not human and it only took him the three weeks to almost completely recover. He would still become tired light headed if he pushed himself too hard but he managed. Now though it was only four days until he was due to turn once more and already he had gone through the somewhat painful process where his eyes changed to golden cat-like slits and his tail grew. And he was horny once more but he resisted and refused to so much as touch Slyth lest he be tempted to force him again. Not that he thought he would be able to now, Slyth was no longer a child. He was still nervous though, and at times downright afraid, of what might happen when he changed. |
Over the course of the three weeks Slyth had spent nursing Dannyl back to health, his wariness had gone down quite a bit. He was still jumpy whenever Dannyl made any sudden movements in his general direction, but that didn't happen to often. For the most part, Slyth trusted the lycan as much as his past would possibly allow him to. He was still one of the few creatures that couldn't help but find the good in others, no matter how bad the rest was. Not that he was stupid or weak enough to let that harm him.
"Dannyl. I've found a place for you to stay during your transformation." Slyth said as he entered the gave, the lion that seemed to be his bodyguard poked its head in behind him and glared at Dannyl. The lion didn't seem to be able to forgive Dannyl for what Slyth had obviuosly told it about the man. "You won't be able to harm anything there. Though, I don't know what to do about feeding you." He said with a sigh. He knew perfectly well that once transformed, Dannyl would only want live animals to feed on, but he was not willing to offer him any and he couldn't bring himself to ask any of the animals if they wished to sacrifice themselves just to keep a lycan healthy and alive. |
Dannyl looked up with a small closed-mouth smile when Slyth came in, his golden eyes flashing. "That's good," he said. What was even more good though was Slyth staying a little away from him. Already his scent had penetrated his nose - indeed he had smelt him coming - and it made certain body organs stand up at attention, so to speak. It was about this time of month that he had raped Slyth and he was keen not to repeat the process but if Slyth came too close to him he wasn't all sure he would be able to stop himself, lion body guard or not.
"Don't worry about feeding me, just make sure I can't get out and nothing can get in even if I end up throwing myself at the entrance or wall or whatever," he said. He hated his change times as it was since normally he was a vegetarian, hated the taste of meat let alone the fact it had to come from a living being to begin with. The pain he could deal with, he had dealt with it for decades, maybe even centuries he wasn't sure. But he always had a foul taste in his mouth when he became more aware of himself once more at the end of the week. "I just grow weaker as all creatures do when they don't eat, easier to control because silver hurts a lot more and... well you know what my brother was doing, well that silver never leaves my system so while I grow accustomed to it normally, I can just feel the liquid silver moving through my veins." He gave a crooked ironic smirk. "All in all I become easier to manage which is what those at the circus discovered and utilized. Though with them I wasn't as meek and placid while human as I am with you." A slight breeze blew, bringing Slyth's scent to Dannyl all the stronger. He closed his eyes and a soft wolf-like whimper escaped his throat as he resisted the urge to rut himself silly on him. Only once the breeze stopped and the scent faded a little once more did he open his eyes again. "So what is this place you have found?" |
"I will find a way to feed you." He said as his tail flicked behind him. It wasn't to hard to see the signs that Dannyl was wishing quite desperately to 'mate', and it was making Slyth a little nervous. Dispite the fact, that even if the lion was not there, Slyth was perfectly capable to defending himself against the lycan infront of him. "I can remove the silver if you wish." He said before frowning lightly, as the small breeze that entered the cave swept to Dannyl and the man whimpered lightly and asked him about the place he had found for him. "It is simply a small secluded area of the forest. An area the animals ussually don't go to. You will be safe there, and the animals will be safe from you."
|
Dannyl gave a soft half smile when Slyth offered to remove the silver in his system. He wasn't sure how he would be able to do that but the offer was nice. "Thanks for the offer, it's very kind, but I would rather not. My brother didn't do it to be cruel, well not just that, and I agreed for it to be done because it makes me stronger... so long as I look after myself. The more silver running through my bloodstream the less control the actual metal has over me. The less it hurts. Silver can kill most warewolves if it penetrates their body. Me, it just hurts and we were working towards stopping that too. Inadvertantly you would be making me weaker by removing it."
He frowned though when Slyth said that the area he had found was just a secluded area of forest. "No walls?" he asked, worried. "If there is nothing to keep me in I will find my way back here, following the scent of prey. I am aware while I have changed, just not completely in control. When I changed while you were living with me I hung around the cabin as much because there were small animals there as to protect you. That took all my will not to attack you then. If there were a large amount of animals I had to stop myself from attacking... well I doubt I will be able to. I know you said you could defend against me but... well I would rather you not have to to begin with." |
"And I would rather that you just trust me on this." Slyth said in a less than patient tone to his voice. His tail whipped from side to side and his ears were twitching along with the tails movements. "I do not wish to lock you in a cave. You still need room to move about, and having you in a secluded area with many things to do will make you less mad than being locked in a small cold cave for a week." He sighed then, as his anger ebbed away after his annoyed and angry words, "Now. There will be walls, just none that you can see. Now will you follow me or not?"
|
Dannyl found this irritated Slyth was nearly as endearing as the cute and innocent one and he found himself smiling despite himself.
"I trust you," he said. "I just don't want you to underestimate me after I have changed and be hurt because of it, that's all. But if this section of forest has 'walls'," he found the thought unlikely but he didn't state his doubt knowing it would only upset him, "then I am all for staying there. What you say is true, I would rather be outside than stuck in a cave or building, so long as I wont harm anyone, especially you." He stood, taking it easy to be somewhat slow and gentle, to not make it seem like he was making any sudden movements towards Slyth. He longed to, god he longed to, to just envelope him in his arms, breath his scent in, lick him, nibble him, play with his nipples his penis- No! Dannyl shook his head. He couldn't allow such thoughts to take him away or he would end up doing them. He realized that a low whine was coming from him and he stopped it, somewhat embaressed by his weakness. He was slightly proud of himself for being strong enough to hold back, but he was glad he would be taken to some place he couldn't do anything about it if he lost control of himself. |
"Don't you worry about that." Slyth said as he waited for Dannyl to get up and follow him from the cave, "I won't be underestimating you ever again. And you won't harm anyone, I'll show you how the walls will hold you when we get there. Just come on." He said as he started walking once more. He had momentarily paused when he heard the low whining coming from Dannyl, knowing exactly why he was doing such a thing. Slyth just had to keep telling himself that Dannyl was not entirely in control of himself at the moment, and therefor was having rather.. unneeded thoughts.
They walked for nearly an hour, and it was obvious they were nearing the edge of the forest, as the green suddenly vanished and the destroyed, scorched earth the humans left behind abruntly began. "Here." He said as he motioned for Dannyl to pass between two trees. Beyond them, everything looked exactly the same as the rest of the forest, with the one change of being able to see the desert not to far beyond the tree's. |
"I won't be underestimating you ever again."
Dannyl felt that like a knife in the heart and he stared determindly at the ground as he followed behind Slyth, tail hanging low at the point where, if he had four legs, it would be between his hind ones. It was understandable, of course it was, and he knew Slyth wouldn't trust him yet but even though what he said didn't say the word trust to Dannyl it was the tone more than anything. He attempted to push it aside, to ignore it, and to some extent he managed but he still felt this little niggle at the back of his mind that said he would never allow him into his life again. He nodded though to showing how these walls would work. He was both curious and doubtful. He had never known of anything to be able to keep him in when he was fully changed except silver and thick solid rock. But he didn't voice his doubts or even let them show on his face. Slyth already seemed annoyed at him so he didn't want to push it further. Looking up he watched Slyth as he walked and couldn't help but notice the elegance to it, the way his tail swished just so, the tightness of his pert little arse. Feeling another whine come up in his throat, he pushed it down and moved forward so he was walking next to Slyth rather than behind him, with the lion between them both so he wouldn't feel threatened by him. Dannyl paused though when he caught sight of the destroyed forest and desert beyond that. He found that the sight of the desert unleashed a coil of fear in his chest that he didn't think would have happened. He looked to the two trees Slyth mentioned and, with a half, croocked smile to Slyth, walked through them before turning around. Nothing really looked different and he didn't feel enclosed in anyway but for now he stayed still. "These walls will keep me from getting out as much as..." he glanced over his shoulder to the desert where he was sure that the humans from the circus were hiding behind every sand dune. "As much as keeping others out?" |
Slyth had tensed somewhat when Dannyl had gone from walking behind him, to walking beside him, but knowing Dannyl could do nothing to him, helped him relax is muscles and continue on without otherwise showing that he was rather uncomfortable with Dannyl so close.
"Yes, they will keep you in like they keep the humans out." Slyth said as he walked up to the two tree's Dannyl had walked through. Just before he would have passed between them, he stopped and crouched down. "The walls are magick, held together by the symbols you can see on the ground around you." He spoke as he started to draw a symbol in the dirt on the ground, "You are the only thing that will not be able to pass through." He said as he pressed his hand down into the middle of the symbol and closed his eyes, concentrating. The symbol started to faintly glow white, as did all the others in a wide circle, showing just how much room Dannyl really did have, which was quite a bit. The glowing also indicated, that this symbol Slyth just drew was the last, and the wall was now complete. "Only I can break the seal. I will do so when I feel you are ready to be released." He spoke as he stood up and dusted his hands off. "I will check on you, once a day, to be sure nothing has happened. But now, is there anything you need before I go?" |
When Slyth indicated the symbols Dannyl looked around, seeing how wide they were; he hadn't even noticed them before. He assumed that he meant himself and humans wont be able to pass through, or at least hoped that would be the case. "I see," was all he said. The pressence of magic made the hair on the back of his neck stand up on end, and not in a good way.
He nodded when Slyth said he would check on him once a day and gave a small crooked smile when he asked if there was anything he wanted. There was plenty but nothing he would speak of so he shook his head. "No, I'll just... be on my way... find some water and stuff. See you in a week," he said before he turned and walked away, dreading the coming week but unable to avoid it. |
Slyth sighed lightly when Dannyl said he didn't want anything, it wasn't to hard to tell the man did want something, but Slyth wouldn't press for it. Afterall, Slyth knew it could very well be something he didn't want to give Dannyl.
So, "Alright," He said as he backed a step away from the wall, "See you tomorrow." He said with a vague smile before finally turning away from Dannyl and the now invisible wall. The next day, and every other day of Dannyl's transformation week, Slyth did in fact go to check on him. He would stay for about ten to twenty minutes every day, half the time checking the symbols to make sure nothing happened to them, not that he was to worried about that. The other half the time, he went about inside the barrier, trying to find Dannyl to make sure he was okay. He hadn't acctually found the man in the first five days of the transformation, but he knew Dannyl was okay, as it wasn't hard to hear the lycan stomping, howling and barking off in the distance. Now, the sixth day of Dannyl's transformation, Slyth crossed the wall again, sending a small shimmer of light through the wall as it allowed him through before closing again straight behind him. This time, he found Dannyl within only a couple minutes. The lycan appeared to be sleeping.. or perhaps resting. Slyth didn't really know, but at least he appeared to be fine. {so sorry for the lame post D: D: D:} |
((what is going to be done for food? you fail to mention and after trying to type a post I've decided I kinda need to know that lol))

[Lul o 3o Animals are able to freely enter and leave so I would just assume some of them either forgot or something? xD lulz. :'D]
|
The following night the peace of the forest was destroyed by a combination of human screams and wolf howls. Even after all this time the pain from the transformation was still horrendous, maybe even more so as his canine body reacted to the silver in his blood. Once the transformation was complete almost instantly he was struck with the hunger, the need for fresh, raw meat and his instincts took over so the hunt began. Dannyl let them, trusting in Slyth's word that both he and anything Slyth held dear was safe.
For the most part Dannyl went hungry; there was practically no game in the enclosure but any rodents, be it rabbits, rats or even mice, had no chance if they happened into the area. There was nothing larger than that though, so throughout the week Dannyl had very little control over his instincts. He had long since learnt that if he did not resist the need for meat not only would he become stronger but he also had more control over himself as well. It was not the case this time. Whenever Slyth entered the enclosure, however, Dannyl made sure he was well away from him so that whenever his instincts did take over he was normally too far away to get to Slyth before he left. The one exception was the final day of the week. As expected living off nothing but rodents when his body needed something more substantial in this state, Dannyl was fairly weak and tired at the end of the week and was just laying where he slept, not entirely awake yet. And then his sensitive nose caught Slyth's scent and his ears perked up. When he came close the lycan side rose and started towards him before Dannyl managed to stop himself. He bared his teeth, in an attempt to warn Slyth off. He smelt so delicious and he was so hungry. He managed to take a couple of steps back and it would be clear to Slyth - who understood animals and their body language - that Dannyl was doing his best to remain in control and not hurt him but then a breeze lifted and Slyth's increadibly tastey scent washed over him and Dannyl lost the little control he had. He charged towards Slyth, snarling, large teeth gnashing, his size around the same height as Slyth and muscular, though somewhat skinnier than he would normally be due to the months of illtreatment. |
Slyth watched, completely unafraid as Dannyl took notice of him, absolutly no fear-scent came from Slyth, which would have made any Lycan momentarily surprised by such a thing. Not that Slyth would have much cared to notice any surprise if it passed through the lycan, he had only come to make sure he was still alive, and unharmed. He did, however, watch curiously as Dannyl seemed to have enough control over himself to not instantly attack. But, the control obviously soon vanished, as the lycan suddenly charged. Still with absolutly no fear, Slyth stood where he was, making absolutly no attempt to move.
When Dannyl was only about a foot away, an incredibly strong feeling of absolute peace washed over the lycan. To most Lycan's, this feeling would banish the wild side and allow the human within to return. But, that was with most lycan's, which generally, were not starved and in desperate need of more substantial substinance. Even so, if it didn't completely force the wild side away from Dannyl at the moment, Slyth was still unafraid. He had more to protect him than the simple peace of his presence. |
When the feeling of peace washed over Dannyl, he skidded to a halt mid-charge, practically on top of Slyth and he lay down on his stomach, muzzle resting on his front paws. That level of peace didn't last long, however and he was soon up again and pacing back and forth before Slyth once more. Dannyl was back in control for now and he couldn't really understand what was happening. He was still hungry, starving in fact, and Slyth still smelt delicious but it was much easier for him to control himself once more.
After a few moments pacing, he sat down in front of Slyth as though waiting. Even though Dannyl appeared to be in control for the moment, he still could not speak in anything but snarls and barks, but he wanted to know the reason behind Slyth coming this close to him. And he didn't know how long the sense of peace would last and keep his lycan side at bay. He still had today and half of tonight to go before he changed back and it was around this time that lycan's were the most vicious. Slyth surely knew this since he seemed to have gained a lot of knowledge about Dannyl's kind in the time they were apart so he had to have some reason to come so close to see him when in the past he had just stayed away. |
A small smile had come to Slyth's face when Dannyl had calmed right down for a few moments and laid down. Dispite that level of peace not lasting very long, Slyth was still glad that Dannyl had been able to feel such peace in his Lycan form. And really, that was one of the reasons Slyth came at this time.
After watching Dannyl pace for a few moments, apparently confused, Slyth finally spoke up, "Dannyl. I had to wait till you were in your Lycan form to give you this offer, and it works much better near the end of the transformation." Suddenly, Slyth looked mildly uncomfortable, but that vanished as Slyth tried to keep his calm face up. He wasn't uncomfortable with the fact that a Lycan stood so close to him, it was something else, something Slyth didn't much wish to think about. "I need to know if you wish to rid yourself of the wild part of you." He paused momentarily, as if to gauge whether or not Dannyl could understand what he was offering. "You will still turn into the wolf at the full moon, but you will be in control. The wild instincts of the wolf would be gone." |
Dannyl sat there dumbstruck. Slyth could make it so he was in control? The entire time? That seemed... too unbelievable to be true. And it made him suspicious too. This wasn't the innocent and generous Slyth anymore who would give simply for the joy it gave him. No doubt this one would want something in return. But so what if he did? Would it really be something Dannyl was unwilling to give? There was plenty he disliked about the changing, the lack of control over himself was one of them, so surely it would be worth it to not have one of the things there anymore.
Making up his mind, he lay on his stomach once more, muzzle resting on his front paws, golden eyes looking up at Slyth as though inviting him to do what he had to do; he didn't quite trust himself yet to move towards Slyth himself lest the temptation become too much. |
"I don't want anything in return." Slyth said with a frown as he crossed his arms, annoyance resonated through his voice. "If you think I'm so petty as to need something in return for helping a friend, you're sadly mistaken." His tail lashed behind him, accompanying the anger that was more than evident. And, because of it, the peacefull feeling that surrounded himself wavered lightly. It was strongest when Slyth was happy or excited, and weakest when annoyed or mad. It was still there, enough to protect him from many things, but not nearly as strong as it was only moments ago. "I shouldn't have even offered." He stated as he turned away to leave Dannyl there, alone with the knowlage that he could be helped, but was not longer going to be. At least, not now, simply because of his reaction to kindness from another.
|
Dannyl felt mild surprise when Slyth seemed to know exactly what he was thinking. At first there was a little fear when he thought maybe he could read minds, but then he realized it was probably just his body language, the same way he read his other animals so he realaxed once more.
And then he was called a friend. Dannyl's heart leapt but it was at that same time that some of the peacefulness that was allowing him to control the wild side lifted and he had to struggle for control once more. It was still easier than it should have been this time of year but enough to give him pause and allow Slyth to walk away from him. That he called them friends gave him hope, hope that maybe if he had not forgiven what he had done, he had at least moved past that. Maybe they could even be something more than friends? But he wasn't going to even go that far without Slyth making the first move this time. Seeing Slyth walk away angrily, without helping him because of the suspicion he had had, Dannyl bounded forward to end up in front of Slyth, barring his path. He then did something no lycan in their right mind ever did to anyone: he rolled over onto his back revealing his stomach to Slyth submissively. Even to the alpha a lycan may lay down submissively but never show his stomach since that was his weak point. The lycan instincts inside of him warred against the move but Danny fought against them. He wanted to make sure Slyth knew he was sorry for being suspicious and he would explain himself when he had a mouth and words to do so but hopefully, for now, this would be enough. The last few days were the worst for a changed lycan where they had practically no control over what they did and Dannyl hated every moment of it. If he could make that part that little bit more bareable it would mean a lot to him. |
Slyth huffed when heard Dannyl coming after him, as he was sure the lycan was in control once more, but he still wasn't afriad, which was more than obvious. But, he was shocked and surprised when the lycan stopped infront of him, obviously not in a threatening way. Dannyl was still apparently in control, and trying to stop him from leaving. He frowned lightly, anger still swirling about inside, untill dannyl surprised him again. He watched with wide eyes as the lycan lay himself down and revelealed his stomach in a clear sign of submission. "What are you up to." He said to himself, dispite knowing that Dannyl was trying to gain his forgiveness. "You best not do anything to make me regret this." Slyth said, still hot with anger as he knelt down to Dannyl. He paused for a moment though, as a vague amused smile crossed his face. "You look like a puppy." he said as he reached out and put his hand to Dannyl's exposed chest.
He closed his eyes and spoke in the beautiful language of the angels. A purifying white glow eminated from him and surrounded Dannyl. It lasted less than a second though, before the light completely vanished and Slyth removed his hand. "You are free of your wild wolf." He said as he stood up, to see how Dannyl would react to having the wolf gone within seconds after having lived with it for such a very long time. |
Dannyl waved his front paws in the air when Slyth asked what he was up to. Wasn't it obvious? But then he seemed to know anyway when he called him like a puppy. If Dannyl could have grinned at that he would have. As it was his tail gave two wags to acknowledge his pleasure at the coment before falling still once more.
As Slyth worked his magic on him Dannyl felt an unusual sense of rightness. As though this was how a lycan was supposed to be but through some kind of mistake or mutation they had become more and more wild. And then the wildness was gone. The instincts were still there, if they weren't he wouldn't know how to act as a giant wolf instead of a human, but he was in complete control and could chose when he let those instincts take over. It was a relief since the wild side of him had been fighting to tear Slyth's arm off for dangling a metaphorical bone infront of him before snatching it away. Dannyl was glad that was gone. Rolling back the right way up he started licking Slyth's hand somewhat eagerly in thanks, tail wagging in the slow way that a lycan's did. He could taste that his friend tasted delicious and he still wanted to eat him but it was so much easier to control now, especially since he was so used to fighting for control. Maybe he could be allowed out beyond the barrier. But then he thought maybe he shouldn't yet, not for another day until he was human again. His eyes had changed to their normal human shape and hazel colour but that was the only thing that gave away his change time was nearly upon him once more. If he left the barrier now he was worried that a mix of instincts and his hunger would make him convince himself it was alright to hunt and he didn't want to do that just yet. It was the natural order of things, carnivores had prey, it kept numbers even, but this was Slyth's utopia and he didn't want to do anything without his say so in it. |
