Kaleo was winding down for the evening as he prepared himself a nice warm cup of blood from his reserves and decided that he would go and enjoy it by the fireplace in one of his more cozy rooms in the mansion he walked up there and set his glass on the coaster on the table beside his large arm chair next to his book that was well worn with the many times he had read it over the years. Kaleo sat down and grabbed his book opening to the place he had marked and picked up his glass and was about to take a sip when he heard the sound of glass smashing in one of the bedrooms on the east wing. Kaleo set his glass and book down replacing his marker and walked down the hall to where he had heard the crashing sound come from, Kaleo opened the door to the bedroom and walked in to see what it was that had made the crash through his window all the time muttering about birds flying through his windows. (lol sorry had to do it thought it was fitting cause birds do that. And the name of my vampire means Shattered Mirror, cool huh? I thought it was fitting.)

Well, the Vampire would probably be in for a surprise. It wasn't really the usual type of bird that had crashed trough the window this time. But, quite an unusual. And HE probably couldn't quite be counted into the bird category at all. But he had big red wings, but instead of a bird body, it was more human looking, with the wings coming out of his back. The fair was pretty much the same color, but with a hint of crimson. As he clearly was bleeding. But he had just crashed trough a darn window, so of course there was blood. Crashing head first and landing on the glass shards. And managing to crash trough a window at all, it might have been injured before that. Either that or he had been really exhausted and not seen where he was heading. Or he might have intended to crash inside for the sake of somewhere to rest.

But at least he was alive. There was some movement in the wings, and arms, as if trying to get up. Even if it was quite a weak attempt. He was so tired and unaware of that there actually lived some one here he simply just didn't care. All he really had the 'energy' to do was drift into a deep sleep. He was just going to recover his energy for a bit. He wasn't even aware of his own condition.

The Vampire would have three choices on what he could do. Either, just throw the birdy man back out, help him, or just put him out of misery. Normally you just broke the neck of a badly injured bird that crashed trough the window, but on other hand, this wasn't really a bird. But it was up to the Vampire. The bird man wasn't even awake right now.

((He's a BIG birdie! XD))

As Kaleo walked in he saw this large set of wings attached to what looked like a man, and he was blood quite perfusuly, Its a good thing he want thirsty at the moment. Kaleo saw that the bird man was unconsious and was pondering what to do. "Should I throw it out...? Or should I kill it...it looks half dead now...should I try to nurse it back to life so that it can leave my mansion on its own accord?" Kaleo debated out loud looking over the bird man. "Hmmm...I think I'll try to nurse it, but if it becomes a problem or a thread then I'll kill it. Kaleo picked up the bird man trying to keep him a little away from himself cause he had really sweet smelling blood. He brought him to one of the larger bathrooms stripped him down cleaned his wounds and bandaged him putting some from clothes of his one him. He couldn't help but notice after he cleaned him up that he was quite good looking, but tried to keep his mind off if for now. Kaleo picked up the bird man and brought him to one of the nice bedrooms and set him under the cover in there to rest. Kaleo went to clean up the mess the bird had made, then going back to what he was doing having to reheat his cup of blood but going back to reading his book and drinking his cup of blood by the fire.

Well. Of course he noticed that something was going on, but not what. He was far too out of it to know, or really care. But at least it seemed he had been in quite the luck. Once he opened his eyes a bit, he was a little dizzy, and rather tired from the blood loss. But the odd thing was. He wasn't where he remembered he landed. Instead, he was in a bed, and he had been taken care off and everything. That, was a bit of a surprise. That meant that some one actually did live in this place. And that meant he had just crashed into some ones home. So, he really did owe some one an apology, didn't he? And as he was awake, he would go ahead and find out who it was that had helped him, even if he probably shouldn't be up and walking just yet. But who cared about that?

He got out of the warmth of the bed, taking the covers that some one had placed over him, wrapping them around him, for the sake of staying warm, since he did feel a bit cold, and started making his way out of the room, and looking for the way around the mansion, to try find his rescuer, and most likely the owner of this place. And it didn't take all that long to find a room with a fire going, and some one sitting in an arm chair, reading a book of some kind.

Though, he didn't say much himself. He just had no idea what to say. And he probably looked a bit miserable and pale from the lack of blood, but at least he had energy to walk so soon again. So he would be fine. But he didn't speak a word as he walked into the room, not paying the man in the chair much attention as he just walked over to sit down close to the fire. He just wanted the warmth coming from the fire place right now. And it was probably an odd scene that he was making himself so at home just like that. And on top of that, he seemed to be dozing off a bit when he was sitting by the fire, warming himself up with the covers wrapped around him.

Kaleo was almost finished with his book when he heard the bird man come in but he didn't take his eyes off his book but saw out of the corner of his eye that the bird man had passed him and went and curled up in front of the fire with the comforter from the bed he put him in. Kaleo saw him starting to fall asleep he figured that he would let him get fully asleep before putting him back and lighting the fire in that rooms fire place. (sorry so short i had writter block grrrr :()

It was rather surprising that the other guy didn't say anything. But it was also a bit of a relief too. He was not really in the mood to speak to some one. Not even the guy that saved his butt. He was just tired. He would need allot of rest before he would be in the mood to speak. If he would even be in the mood to speak anyhow. He wasn't usually the talkative type.

He was just making himself comfortable on the floor by the fire, slowly starting to drift off into another deep sleep. It was much more easy to fall asleep by a warm and cozy fire, wrapped up in warm blankets. And it didn't really disturb him in any way that there was the other guy in the same room. He, in fact, seemed to lack any kind of emotion over the situation. Or care. For him, it was time to rest, again.

(Hmmm I really don't know what to post after that...but I'll give it a go)

Kaleo decided it was time to retire to his own quarters for the night so he got up and washed his cup and put it away set his book on the shelf along with many others. He walked down the halla while did a few turns and went up a flight until he finally got to his bed room where he got changed into his night pants, he always slept topless, he didn't care if there was another man around or not. this is what he slept in and that was that. Kaleo climed into his nice and comfy covers and fell asleep almost instantly.

The bird man was having it really comfortable, even as the fire was starting to go out. He was still warm and he was getting better. He recovered fast, so he would be fine soon enough. Rest would be all he needed. And he was really getting plenty of that.

While the fire was burning out, he had changed position from sitting with the covers around him, to laying on the floor. The covers still pulled over him, but with his wings stretched out. If he didn't stretch them out when he was sleeping, they could become stiff. And then it would be a real pain in the bum when he woke up. Though, sleeping on the floor would make him rather stiff too. So, as soon as the floor was feeling cold and uncomfortable, he woke up, somewhat, moving himself from the floor to the chair where the strange guy had been sitting before when he had fallen asleep, taking a seat there instead. The strange man wasn't here anyhow, so he wasn't using the chair, so, why not?

And it was more comfortable too, even if it was a bit hard to position the wings right to make it feel ok, but he managed to get that settled soon enough, and pulled the covers over himself, going back to sleep, once again. But this time he wasn't half passed out, and he wasn't as tired anymore. He just had nothing better to do.

It had been dawn the next day before Kaleo woke sitting up in his large bed yawing and stretching he hoped out of bed and went down to the kitchen to grab a glass of blood for his breakfast then deciding to check on the bird man after he had finished his glass cleaned it and put it away in the cupboard. Kaleo walked up the stairs and down the hall to where he had left the man. Kaleo walked in and saw him cuddled up on his reading chair and he saw that the fire had gone out. He walked over to the bird man and stood there for a moment deciding if he should wake him...He decided that he had slept enough and would surly be rested by now, so he poked his shoulder lightly not knowing if the man would become violent by getting woken up. When he didn't wake right away Kaleo nudged his arm with his whole hand and saw that the bird man was starting to stir so he stepped back and waited for him to wake up.

Feeling that some one touched him, clearly trying to wake him up, he didn't react much when it was only a poke on the shoulder. But as some one shook him a bit instead, then he reacted. Not much of an reaction though. He just simply opened his eyes, giving a bit of a tired yawn as he stretched legs, arms and wings out a bit. He clearly have had quite a good night of rest. He was completely rested up after the event of the other night. But he still was a bit sore here and there after the crash. Some deeper cuts that took longer to heal up and such. But that would pass.

As he was a little more awake, he looked over at the guy that had helped him the other night, finding it somewhat odd that he was keeping a bit of a distance. But on other hand. He was probably a bit unusual, so it wasn't that much of a surprise that he would be a bit careful with approaching him.

"I don't bite, so there is no need to keep a distance"

Kaleo took a step closer after the man said he wouldn't bite. Kaleo chuckled a little at his sillyness. "Of coarse I'm sorry for being so rude but I have not seen your type before and was unaware if you were a dangerous or not. Are you hungrey? I have a little human food in my kitchen that I have for visitors though I don't know if that's what you eat or how fresh the food might be, but you are welcome to it." Kaleo said gesturing towards the kitchen. looking at unease because he really didn't know how to treat company because he had rare visitors and all that he were human.

He stood up from the chair where he had been sleeping, putting the covers on the chair so that they wouldn't be spread out on the floor or anything, looking at the rather odd guy. Wasn't he a human? The looked human, somewhat. Probably was for the best if he went along and took a look at what it was he had. He was used to mostly eat fruit and vegetables, so if it was meat, he would have to be a bit picky with it, since the only type of meat he could eat was fish or bird. ((No, it doesn't make him a cannibal XD)) That was pretty much what you got when your kind pretty much all were vegetarian.

"I can come along and see what it might be. There are certain types of food that I can't eat I'm afraid."

Even if he was somewhat curious, he wouldn't ask the guy anything personal, like, what he was or something like that. He had no right to do that since he owed the guy allot for helping him. And talking about that, he hadn't even thanked him yet. He had at first not said a word to him, and now when being offered something to eat, he was insisting on coming along to make sure what it was. He was rather comfortable around the Vampire, and was clearly making himself at home, but he did seem to be forgetting his manners. Or forgetting to show some kind of gratitude towards him. But, he didn't know what kind of person he was or what he might want with him. But so far it didn't seem all too bad, since he was being treated well. And as far as he knew, he could pretty much leave when he wanted to. Otherwise, he probably wouldn't be able to move around freely in the mansion.

(How does that not make him a cannibal? lol)

Kaleo nodded and started to lead him out of the room and down to the kitchen he wasnt sure if he had much in there but he figured checking wouldn't hurt. He still wasn't used to having someone around but tried not to let it bother him, he knew he should be more polite but he wasn't prepared for it. Kaleo cleared his throat. "I'm sorry if I come off as rude but I don't get to many visitors here, I like to live alone. You may leave whenever you like the door is always unlocked." Kaleo said trying to sound friendly.

(I'm sorry if thats waaaay lame but my brain cant think tonight.)

((*gasp* Let's give the brain CPR!! DON'T HEAD TOWARDS THE LIGHT BRAIN!! THINK! THINK!! YOU CAN DO IT!! DON'T GIVE UP!!! T_T *too much sugar*))

The vampire thought he was being rude? Wasn't Llyud being even more rude considering he hadn't thanked him or not even showed any sign of gratitude towards him? But oh well. Seems he was used to it. So he wouldn't care allot.
He just followed the Vampire to the kitchen, taking a good glance around on the way. He had never, ever been inside a mansion before. He, in fact, had never been into a home like this at all. So it was really new to him. He came from a more tropical climate. Therefor the lack of clothes. Even if he wasn't wearing his clothes right now. He wasn't sure what it was the Vampire had put on him. But he assumed that, since he had a few bandages, that his clothes might have been ripped and bloody. So they were probably trashed or something. But as long as the crystal was still around his neck, or that he at least knew where it was, then he didn't care what on earth he was wearing. The crystal was just something that was really precious to him, for reasons he didn't even know himself.

But his attention turned away from the surrounding back to the Vampire as he mentioned that he was free to leave whenever he wanted to. But he shook his head at that. This guy had probably saved his life, and Llyud had crashed into his home uninvited. He was in debt of the Vampire. So he was not going to leave till he had repaid it in some way.

"I crashed into your home and you still helped me. I can't leave until I repaid the favor. So from now, in case you need something, I will help"

He would probably be a bit like a servant. And on top of that, he was doing it on his own free will without being bitten or paid for it. So it was a bit unusual. But he was a strange guy. But it would probably be useful if the Vampire wanted to read a book that was too high up to reach. Otherwise, it might be rather useless, since there wasn't much he was good for in a mansion like this. He just had no idea what some things were and what to do with them. This would probably be interesting.

(OMG!!! I'm soooo sorry I thought it was your turn lol im soooo sorry!!!!)

Kaleo listened to the birdman (he didnt remember his name lol) and shook his head, he knew that he didn't really want a servant nor did he need one and he didn't like the idea of someone being in his debt and hanging around trying to help him. Kaleo thought to him self that this was going to be interesting. The one thing that he was interested in was the crystal that the birdman wore around his neck it was very sparkly and beautiful catching even the littlest light.

"You don't have to do anything for me I didn't save you for you to be in my debt or to be my servant, I saved you because you crashed through my window and was bleeding all over my rug and I knew that I didn't feel like going through the trouble of disposing of you, your blood smells very good and I didn't want to break my commitment of not hurting a soul for food." Kaleo said matter of factly.

Llyud watched the vampire for a bit, not really seeming all too bothered about what he was told about it being troublesome to dispose of him and that he was bleeding all over the rug and all. In fact. He was more curious about, how on earth it could be more troublesome just disposing of him, when he had gone trough the trouble of washing him, bandaging him and letting him rest, and now was offering food as well. Seemed like allot more trouble then to simply just dispose of some one.
The vampire really wasn't making any sense to him at all.

"You're quite strange... If you don't want me to return the favor, you should have just disposed of me."

He obviously, didn't seem to care much about what happened to him. He clearly didn't see life as a precious thing. He didn't really seem to think much about that kind of stuff at all. But oh well. Right now, he was hungry. He hoped that the Vampire had some kind of fruit or vegetables around. Even if he might not look as if he was, pretty much everyone in his race is vegetarian.

Kaleo started to look around the kitchen to see what he had that the bird man could eat and not finding a whole except an unopened bag of baby carrots. "Yes I am quite strange, It's not the first time that I've been told that. I just view myself as unique, and I like it that way." Kaleo said into the fridge still trying to hunt down some more food for the bird man. "Well I'm afraid the only vegetables I have is this bag of baby carrots, there unopened but I'm not sure if there very fresh or not. It's been ages since I ate vegetables so I don't quite know how to tell." Kaleo said pulling his head and the bag of carrots out of the fridge and holding them up to the birdman for inspection.

((Hahahaha. I feel slow. Sorry for being slow at responding. Been drawing an image for Grandma. And I have been drawing like obsessed, and still didn't get it done till 8:45 pm on her birthday, so I pretty much stayed at her house till I was done yesterday XD And it's rough to draw with grandma talking uninterrupted hour after hour...))

Llyud really didn't like the sound of the mention of that he hadn't eaten vegetables for ages. Who knew how old they were by now? He wasn't sure if he really should take a look at the carrots in the bag that was handed to him. But he was somewhat hungry, so it would be worth at least taking a look. And they didn't actually seem all that bad. They seemed rather ok. Carrots did after all last for quite a while. So after taking a good look at them, he dared taking a test bite. And, yupp, they were fine. So he took another bite of it, finishing the baby carrot rather quickly. At least now he knew for sure that they were fine, so he gave the Vampire a look.

"They're completely fine. Carrots usually lasts for a while."

(lol its all good don't worrie about it)

Kaleo watched the birdman inspect the carrots and hesitently take a bit then eat the carrot and tell him that they tasted just cause they stay good for a long while. "Oh thats good didn't know that." Kaleo said cause he really didn't know what else to say. He really needed to work on his people skills. Kaleo went back into the fridge to get a glass of blood and put it in the warmer, he didn't like cold blood yuk. "Umm I hope you don't mind but its my meal time..." Kaleo said awkwardly not even looking at the man.

Llyud simply took another carrot to munch on, looking at Kaleo for a moment. He would have to make sure to find some proper food soon. He couldn't live on baby carrots. It couldn't be good. But they would do fine for now. But he had no idea why Kaleo told him about his meal time. Why would he mind? Hadn't this guy noticed that he really didn't care about anything so far?

"Why would I mind about your meal time? As long as you're not trying to bite me, it doesn't concern me."

For some one with sweet blood that a Vampire would like, he really was calm around the guy. But, where would there be a reason to panic or something like that? Kaleo had saved his life, and claimed it was because he was spilling blood all over. But that couldn't be true. Would have been so much more easy just throwing him out then undressing him and cleaning him off and taking care of his injury's. Which reminded him. For how long would he have to wear the odd clothes that he had now?

"You don't have anything else for me to wear? It feels somewhat strange to wear this."

Kaleo chuckled lightly. "No I try to refrain from actually hurting people for food I usually get my blood from blood banks and willing donors so no worries." Kaleo looked Llyud up and down looking at the clothes he gave them. "Hmm what clothes would you like to wear?" Kaleo said cocking his head to the side questionably.

((sorry i took me soooo long but I'm feeling a heck of lot better now so my brain can think again!!! yay for m brain!!!)

Llyud had no idea what a blood bank was. Or what a willing donor was either. So he just brushed it off. He really didn't care where Kaleo's blood came from. As long as Llyud wasn't to drink it or as long as Kaleo didn't try drink any of him. So he concentrated on the other subject. Clothes. He didn't really like what he was wearing now, but he doubted that he could use his old clothes from before. They were most likely ripped to pieces after the crash. But maybe there was something similar around?

"I did prefer my own clothes... Maybe you have something similar around?"

((No worries. Been slow myself. Been working on my multiplay characters on Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates. And I been sick X_x))

Kaleo thought for a second. "Ummm well...I don't know, but theres a wordrobe full of clothes on the second floor third door on your right, your welcome to any of those clothes." Kaleo said trying to be helpfull but not knowing how helpful he was being.

That was good enough for Llyud. He simply nodded and turned to go there. Second floor, third door on the right, was it? Though, Llyud was a bit bad when it came to left and right, but he decided, why not look in both doors that came third? Then he would know that at least one of the rooms were the right one.

So as he got to the second floor and the third door, he first went ahead to check if it was the left. But that seemed to be wrong. He couldn't really see a wardrobe there. So he instead turned to the right. That seemed to be it, since there was a big wardrobe there.

So he simply went to that and took a look. Didn't take long to find something that looked ok enough for his taste. And he found a rather simple shirt that he decided to use. Just as long as Kaleo didn't mind him ripping it a bit in the back, so that he could be comfortable with his wings too. But he would make sure to ask him first. He would need a scissor anyhow, to cut the back on it. He didn't usually wear a shirt, but he thought that it might look somewhat better if he didn't walk around with the bandages showing.

Kaleo was pacing around waiting for the birdman cause he didn't know what else to do he felt like he should do something further to help the man but he didn't know what. Kaleo walk upstairs to make sure the bridman had found his way to the room. As he walked in he saw the birdman inpecting one of the shirts, it was a shirt that Kaleo didn't care about so he asked the birdman. "Would ya like to wear that one? I don't wear it at all, I don't even mind if ya cut hole for yer wings." Kaleo offered.
