((Forgot to answer about itchy clothes. I actually like them. I usually wear medieval clothes, and in proper material. They're itchy like hell to begin with, but after you use them for a while and get used to them, they're really cozy))

"If you want a towel or something, you can go look in the bathroom. There should be a few there. You remember the way right? Just take a look and see if you can find something to your liking, ok? I will make sure to cook you up a really good meal."

He trusted Artemis well enough to let him wander around the house on his own. And it might be better for Artemis to look for something he found cozy. And besides. If Artemis used a towel, there was so many ways Llyud could tease him.

While Llyud was waiting for Artemis to get back. He was at first planning on how to tease him further. But his mind started drifting to something else. Something a bit more serious. Artemis was the leader of his tribe, wasn't he? Did that mean he would have to marry one of the women in order to not lose respect from the other elves? If that was so, maybe even if some of the other Aegyl joined Artemis and his tribe, Llyud would stay here. He strongly doubted he would be able to handle seeing Artemis with some one else. He would probably be so jealous that he would end up doing something he would regret and something that would make Artemis hate him. But he would of course ask Artemis about this. If Artemis was supposed to marry a woman, maybe he could do something against it since he was the tribe leader?

He kind of snapped out of it for a moment once Artemis came back to the kitchen, wearing a towel rather then the pants. He gave Artemis a somewhat concerned look, hoping there was some way around it all.

"Artemis? Can I ask you something? It's rather important."

Llyud shook his head a bit at the towel part. It had nothing to do with the darn towel. He said it was something important, didn't he? The towel was not important.

"No, it's not about the towels. I have a question about your position... Does the tribe leaders of your tribe have to... marry a woman...?"

He really hoped not. Or if he had, Llyud hoped there was a way to get out of that commitment. Life would be almost as sad as when Artemis had been angry and bitter, if he now would have to go marry a woman when Llyud had finally gotten the old Artemis back. He wouldn't be able to handle a loss like that twice.

Even if it probably wasn't an all too good thing that Artemis probably lost his leader position, it was something that really made Llyud happy to hear. That meant that he wouldn't have to sit and watch as some woman was clinging onto Artemis, bound by a marriage, leaving Llyud powerless to do anything about it. On other hand. As Artemis adviser, he could of course suggest for Artemis to marry the oldest woman, that was most likely to die sometime soon anyhow. Then he wouldn't have to sit around and be jealous. But since none of that was to happen. It was just great news.

Llyud just couldn't help himself as he just went over to Artemis and hugged him tightly. That really did mean that no one would be getting in between of them.

"I probably sound mean to say this, but, that is the best news I ever heard..."

He said that, giving Artemis a bit of a squeeze in the hug, and deciding to tease him a bit. Mostly because he wanted to hear it. He could probably get a blush on Artemis face again.

"Any plans on who you want to spend your days with?"

Hearing that reply, Llyud actually got somewhat upset. Hadn't Artemis heard him at all? He said the last of his DAYS. Not the last of the day. That kind of got on his nerves quite a bit. So even if he had been really happy about the idea of Artemis not being tribe leader anymore, he was right now somewhat pissed off. And that Artemis just kept talking didn't make it any better. So even if Artemis didn't get it where he had said wrong, Llyud did what he did anyhow. Stomping Artemis on the foot. And the fact that Llyud had shoes and Artemis didn't wouldn't make it any more easy for the poor elf.

And after stomping Artemis on the foot, Llyud turned back to the stove. He would finish cooking, and leave Artemis to figure out what he had done wrong himself. Llyud was not going to speak to him right now. There had been way too much fuzz between the two lately. So Llyud would probably be a bit cranky for some time. But that would pass.

Llyud strictly refused to say anything, even if he softened a bit hearing Artemis saying sorry. But he wouldn't give in till he got a proper answer. But he would at least give Artemis a somewhat hint what was the matter. Even if he might know by now.
But Llyud finished dinner, and walked over to Artemis. He had just made two sandwiches with eggs on. He wasn't that good of a cook really. So he could only make simple dishes.
But he took one of the sandwiches and just stuck it in Artemis mouth, looking at him in a serious manner.

"Figure out what it was you said wrong and then come to me when you have the proper answer"

That was all he said as he left the kitchen, taking the other sandwich to eat. He would go outside for a bit, leaving Artemis to explore the house some more if he wanted to. While Llyud simply headed out and went to sit on the roof of his home. He would stay there for a while and finish his breakfast. And give Artemis a rough time to get to him when he had figured out what he had said wrong before.

Even if Artemis was speaking to him, Llyud wasn't replying. But he was listening. He knew that Artemis didn't mean to upset him. But this time he was going to brush it off. He wanted his question answered about who Artemis wanted to spend the last of his days with. And it was obvious what name Llyud wanted to hear.

He, in fact, wasn't sure if Artemis really shared the emotions that Llyud had for him. So far, it had seemed like Artemis had just returned the affection to keep Llyud happy. But not really meant any of it. So he simply wanted a honest and straight answer from him.
Though, Artemis had gone bitter and mean just from the fact that Llyud had a short life span. But it might be only friendship that it was all about. But on other hand. If it was only friendship, Llyud could go for that too. As long as he never would have to see some one else growing too close to Artemis.

Llyud looked at him for a bit. It was really hard to keep a face up when Artemis looked like that. Desperate for attention. It was rather adorable. So Llyud would cut him some slack, giving him a somewhat of a smile.

"Then what's your answer to my question? Who is it you want to spend the rest of your days with?"

If Artemis started talking about that he didn't know that many or something like that again, Llyud would seriously punsh him in the face. Since that just made it sound as if Artemis hadn't found the right one yet. And that would just annoy Llyud beyond limits.

It really did seem as if Llyud had hurt Artemis feelings this time. He had forgotten how sensitive Artemis really was. Since he had gotten somewhat used to the more cold and cruel side. It was the side he had seen most of the time after he had come to the elf camp. So, he was having a harder time with the more sensitive side. He gave a bit of a sigh as he got up. He would go apologize, and try find a way to make up for being so mean.

But before he could get in, there was suddenly a bit of a commotion going on around the village. He had been gone for so long that he couldn't quite recall what it was all about. But it was bound to be important. And he was just about to find out.

"Llyud! Watch out!!"

He heard some one yell to him. Though, he did react somewhat slow. While he was looking in the direction of the voice, there was something that hit him in the back. Or more like, two arrows that hit him from behind. Some one was attacking. And the attackers were actually other Aegyl. Those that had been expelled for different reasons.
And none of these Aegyl had their crystals. So their emotions about being expelled was most likely anger and revenge. Otherwise, they wouldn't be attacking their birth place.
And Llyud had been away for so long that he had forgotten all about them. And now he was unlucky enough to have been hit. Though, there was nothing vital that got hit. But bad enough to put him down. And even if the attacks usually didn't last long, since the expelled Aegyl were so few, and always had to escape before the Aegyl in the village could arm themselves. One of them landed where Llyud was, and pulled the arrows out, rather violently. Most likely to cause him pain. And it was one of Llyud's old friends as well. He had been expelled a while back, for trying to convince the other Aegyl that they should leave the mountains and take back the lands where their ancestors once lived. And even if it was somewhat Llyuds fault he had been expelled, he seemed somewhat happy to see him.

And he hadn't really seen Llyud for a while around the village. Usually, Llyud would be the first one that armed himself in a counter attack. But since he hadn't seen Llyud there for a while, he of course was curious about where he might have been. And he had noticed something else. Llyud didn't have the crystal anymore. Which meant that Llyud was able to feel emotions by now. And he would be taking advantage of that.

He grabbed Llyud by the hair, pulling him up and actually giving him a kiss. Though, that was over the edge for Llyud. Not that he was given much to say. His old friend intended to take him along too, so that was what he did. Grabbing Llyud and taking him with him. Which pretty much left Artemis alone in the house now.

((A bit of a fast moving post, but it's starting to get long XP))

While Artemis was crying like a little baby, one of the female Aegyl warriors came into the house. It was one of the two that had found Artemis the other day and brought him back. She was rather shocked to find Artemis crying rather then getting ready to go save the hostage. And she did seem rather upset to. Wasn't this guy Llyud's friend? Why wasn't he getting ready to bring him back?

"Get up elf boy! Unless you want to be left behind. We are heading out to bring back those taken hostage."

Llyud wasn't the only one that had been taken. There was three more that they had taken. And as few as they were, they couldn't afford to least even one being taken away without at least attempting to save them. They were not to sit and cry over their loss. They would take back what had been stolen. And since Artemis was close to Llyud, they had decided to let him come to. They would of course carry him. Since he wouldn't be able to keep up otherwise.

She seemed somewhat satisfied with the fact that Artemis finally stopped crying on the floor like a baby and got up and acted like a man. But the disturbing image of a grown man crying on the floor like that would forever be burned into her head. And he would remember to smack Artemis for it later. But for now, she threw him her spear and turned around to head out. She had to get another spear for now so that she could get ready too as they all prepared to go rescue the hostages that had been taken. And even if Artemis most likely would be more happy to now know what they did to the hostages, he did ask, so she would answer.

"It doesn't happen often, but when we fail in rescuing hostages, they usually end up hanging with a pole trough their heart, their heads cut off and put on top of the pole. The Aegyl that attacked have been expelled for good reasons in the past. They're violent criminals. But it still surprises me how easily they managed to take Llyud. He has always been the best fighter in the village. Must have been quite peaceful where you came from to have made him drop his guard. But you get dressed and get outside. We're leaving shortly, and we won't be waiting for you if you're not there. If they decide to kill some one, Llyud will probably go first, since he was injured."

After having that said, he headed out, leaving Artemis to get ready, as fast as possible. Hearing something like that, he would probably hurry up a bit.
But for their information, Llyud had been captured for other reasons. The one that had shot and taken him used to be a friend of his. Even if they were not really friends now. But he was at least not to killed and put up as display to scare intruders off. He was actually being rather well taken care of. He wasn't really awake, but his injurys were cleaned and attended to. And for the sake of not knowing what might happen when he finally did open his eyes, he was acting as if he was out cold. And he was doing it well too. Even if he was somewhat curious about what was going on around him. He had always been quite curious, even without emotions.
And he had noticed that he was not wearing his regular clothing. He was wearing something, but he had no idea what, and he wouldn't look until he was sure that he was alone.

((Have to draw something like that. Thought that Llyud would be wearing a harem type skirt thing. XD))

"Most likely for the same reason the others were taken. They do acts of violence for us to accept them back. But giving in to violent acts like that would be the end of our race. So we can never accept them back"

More then that there wasn't really to it. Some Aegyl had most likely lost their minds, living their lives without emotions. They thought that, without emotions, what was the point of their race? And they found it better to kill them rather then think things trough. And others, had broken their crystals by mistake, and they had felt other things then happy or confused emotions. Some had wanted revenge on the land below the mountains. But since Aegyl originally are rather peaceful, even if their skill of combat might not give that impression of them, they were not ones to go as far as getting revenge. Revenge only brought misfortune, so it was a worthless act of violence. All unnecessary acts of violence was forbidden among the Aegyl.

And after a short call, they were off. One of the stronger and somewhat bigger Aegyl grabbed Artemis, since it would be more easy for him to carry him. Depending on what class they were, some were stronger, while others might even appear to look weak. But of course they were not weak. They were built for endurance rather then strength. Like Llyud.
The Aegyl had four classes of warriors. The female that had found Artemis was in the category of Sky Soldier. And the male that had been with her was a Sky Warrior. And Llyud was among the two stronger classes. Dragon Knight. And there was something that they called Sky Samurai too. But those were mostly female, and there wasn't too many of them. Their training was too hard for most women to handle, but they were pretty much equal to Dragon Knight when it came to fighting abilities.

But oh well. It was to be a long flight, and even if Artemis was in a bad mood, he should enjoy the view and try calm down a bit. Anger never lead to anything good.

It really was a long flight, and a few times, the larger of the Aegyl troops had to hand Artemis over to another one for a while. In the air. But even the strongest got tired once in a while. And having Artemis along did slow them down a bit, but not by much.

Eventually, they reached the camp of the abandoned Aegyl, and the Aegyl holding Artemis let go of him. They were still up in the air, but he pretty much let him go on top of a tent, so the landing should be soft enough.

And hearing that there was a fuzz outside, and soon there were clearly weapons crossing, it was obvious that the other Aegyl had come to get them. It was a somewhat relief. And finally, Llyud dared open his eyes, and tried to get up to go and see what was going on, but the pain in his back was stopping him. But he was not to lay there and wait ti be found. So, he did what else he could. Crawl. Trying to crawl to the opening of th tent, to see what was happening.

But before he could get there, the Aegyl that had kidnapped him before came in.

"Trying to run away? Don't be too quick about it"

He told as he stepped on Llyud's back, of course causing him quite bad pain, but he was not to say anyhting. Which just annoyed the Aegyl more.
