Llyud was smiling, at least till Artemis slapped his arm all of a sudden, and started running. That just made Llyud really confused. What on earth? And he was supposed to catch him? This was something he had never done before. The elf kids had decided before even asking not to have Llyud play that kind of game with them, since he had the advantage of wings. But even if Llyud was really confused about all of this, he decided to just give it a try. But he was not running. He wouldn't be able to catch anyone if he was running. He wasn't that fast with his legs. So, even if it was kind of like cheating, Llyud flapped his wings, and flew after Artemis. And it really didn't take long to catch up with him, and pretty much crash into him, sending them both to the ground, Llyud on top of Artemis, giving him a bit of a smile. "You can't outrun some one that can fly" Pretty much the end of that game. But Llyud would rather lay on top of Artemis anyhow. That was far more comfortable. |
Artemis was laughing until Llyud laid on him."Aw.Can't you fly not as fast.It kills the game that way."He stated pouting playfully. The elf then decided since,Llyud was more than likely not to move, to move himself, and make him and the Agyel a bit more confortable."I'm glad you took me out here."He then said looking up at the white clouds.
The elf then sighed, and moved his arms free from under Llyud, and picked a hay grass blade,he then twirled it in his fingers, and sighed placing it on the ground. |
"If I were to not fly so fast, I would be wasting more energy, so no. And If I would just run I would never catch up, and that wouldn't be quite fair." As if it was fair to fly rather then run. But Llyud wasn't much of a runner. He gave a sigh, smiling a bit as he rested on top of Artemis. He sure was being comfortable. He didn't exactly get the view Artemis got, but, resting with his head on the others chest was comfortable enough. It was actually a huge relief to be rid of the other elves. Now it was just the two of them, unless the one that Artemis had banned from the clan was still lurking around. But there was no trace of anyone else, so that was doubtful. That elf probably had gone to find a new clan. So Llyud and Artemis could finally enjoy some peace and quiet time together. That was something Llyud had really been hoping for, for a long time now. Would be great that they finally didn't have to hide everything anymore. And hearing Artemis comment, Llyud looked up a bit, and gave him a quick kiss on the chin. That was the only part he could reach right now. But it was good enough. "Then how about just staying like this for a while? You're too cozy to get off of anyhow" He meant that mostly as a joke, but he was serious about not wanting to get off. Was far too cozy. And Llyud found this way more fun then the strange chase game Artemis had wanted to play for some reason. |
When Artemis felt his chin being kiss,he looked down.He chuckled, and looked back up at the sky."I remember you telling me that,a lot of times."The elf said laughing."I never though I could be so cozy, but I guess I have to be if you never seem to wanna get off of me."Artemis then said looking back at Llyud. He was glad that Llyud didn't decide to leave, and even though their time together is shorting, every day Artemis would treasure him.
Then a thought came into his mind."Say Llyud, do you believe in reincarnation?"He asked sitting up a little. |
Llyud chuckled some himself at the comment. If Artemis just knew how cozy he was he wouldn't be getting off of himself. So, yes, he really was comfortable. Llyud snuggled a bit against Artemis chest again, before looking back up at him, watching him curiously. Reincarnation? He wasn't sure that he believed in that. He had heard allot about it, but he had never actually seen or meet some one that had been reincarnated. So honestly, Llyud wasn't sure if he really did believe in it. "I actually don't know. I have heard so much about it, but I have never actually seen or meet anyone that's been reincarnated. It's hard to believe in something that you never experienced or seen... But on other hand, if it is possible. I will make sure that I will be coming back to you over and over again." If reincarnation was true, Llyud would always come back to Artemis. No doubt there. Otherwise, he would settle with watching over him. Even if that was less fun. |
Artemis smiled."That makes me happy."He stated chuckling. He then placed his arms around Llyud's waste, and asked."What's our house going to look like when it's finished?"He hasn't been in a real house before."I've never seen a real house before, minus my dream of course, and it seems like a much better place to live than a tent..."He then added sighing deeply. He then rested his head on Llyud's
|
Llyud smiled a bit, closing his eyes, actually considering to drift into sleep. He wasn't sure what their home would look like once it's finished, but he hoped that it would turn out nice. It probably would. It had to be nice if they both were to live there the rest of their lives. "Who knows? But let's try make it cozy. I don't want a too big home, since it's just the two of us, so let's keep it small and comfortable." He could imagine having it like, one room maybe, The kitchen and the bedroom in one room. That way they could keep it warm in winter. And they could have a few rooms too, bathroom and storage. That would be about it. More then that they didn't really need. And it would be a bit of a relief to have the kitchen and the bedroom in the same room, if one got ill, then the other wouldn't have to run back and forth between the rooms to ask how the other was doing and such. But they would of course have to discuss that a bit about how they wanted it. But small and cozy seemed like an idea. |
Artemis smiled."That's a good idea. It'll help me get used to actually living in a house."He said chuckling, while also shutting his eyes."I'm glad you didn't leave..."The elf then said sighing deeply."I would have missed you terribly, and I would have never forgave myself."Of course in his dream Artemis ends up dying, but he didn't want to have Llyud question him even more, and spoil the current mood with unnecessary questions.
|
Llyud looked up a bit, poking Artemis nose playfully. "And I'm glad you didn't have me standing in the rain all night. Then I would probably have gotten a nasty cold instead." Llyud was trying to just brighten up the mood. He knew very well that Artemis most likely still was feeling bad for the entire thing where he had started being really mean towards Llyud and all. But that was in the past. And Llyud would make sure nothing like that happened again. If it did, Llyud would be giving Artemis a nasty beating to help him get out of it. Probably would be hard for Artemis when the time comes and Llyud has to leave him. But that was not now. |
Artemis laughed and pushed Llyud's hand away."Then let's get started on our house. The faster we get it started the faster we'll be able to live in it."He said sitting up completely. He knew that Llyud will be stubborn and not get off of him for another few minutes or so.The elf then sighed and said."So that means you have to get off of me, or we'll stay here for a while."He then looked down at Llyud."So please stand up?"He asked stroking Llyud with his hair.

It would take them almost five years to finish their home. But it was well worth the time. If they had made it out of wood, they wouldn't be done while Llyud was still alive, and it wouldn't be as stable and strong as this one. But, being done, they could start inside. A small kitchen with a fire and all was already built in, since Llyud made sure to make it in the process of building, so that they would have that done once they moved in. But there was still some things missing. Like a bed and that kind of things. But they could use things from the tent too, so there should be no trouble. And it didn't take long to settle into their new home. Llyud felt at home right away. Even after years in a tent, he settled down really fast when their home was done. And at the moment. Llyud was working on some small things that would be nice to have around. A, somewhat decent table, as long as it was stable and things didn't fall off, it was good enough. But as chairs, he had simply brought in tree stumps. And the bed were taken from what they had slept in, in the tent. But it would need to be fixed up a bit. But with most of it done, it shouldn't take that long fixing the remaining things. And Llyud had gone and flown to town once too, to get some tools to use for the inside. And he had gotten a notebook. Would be fun having a bit of a dairy to write about their progress, even if it was a bit late to write about the progress of them building. But it was still fun. And it was not a secret dairy or anything, so Artemis gladly got to read in it too. Was always fun to see Artemis's face when he read about little silly things that had happened. If it was about him, he sometimes gave such a funny face and blushed, but they had their laughs. "Artemis. Could you help me keep the table stable so I can finish putting in the last nails without it falling over?" It was tricky keeping a table standing while hammering, and things they did together was something that always went into the dairy that Llyud was writing. He pretty much only wrote their best moments in there. And some of the bad. But there were not many bad moments, since they were most of the time only having fun together. Would really be a life to look forward to now when they were alone and had a home, and could live a quiet and comfortable life. |
Artemis was reading the lastest diary entry, and looked up with a smile."Sure."He said as he placed it down and went over to told the table. Living in a house was a great experience for Artemis, the elf had always lived in a tent, and he felt very spacious, and freer also. Upon holding the table Artemis watched Llyud and said."I like living in a house."
A few minutes into him helping Llyud,Artemis started to feel dizzy,of course he didn't have anything to eat yet,so he just shook off the feeling, and reached for a fruit since it was in the basket near by.As he went to bite into the fruit, he frowned."Llyud?"He asked looking at the fruit in his hand."Have these things always been grey?"The fruit was a light red color in reaility. The dizziness came back with a hard hit,and the elf collasped to the floor unconisious. |
Llyud really appreciated the help that he was getting from Artemis. In fact, every time he needed help, Artemis came to help out. Could he possible have found some one better to be with? Most likely not. "Thank you Artemis. At this rather, everything will be done in no time." He said with a happy smile, that soon turned to a frown when Artemis went and grabbed a fruit. Llyud had thought about starting with dinner, and eating before dinner would just ruin Artemis's appetite. "Artemis, don't go and eat fruit before dinner. That will ruin your appetite!" He told him strictly. Sometimes Llyud just enjoyed treating Artemis like a kid. But on other hand, sometimes he acted like a kid too. But when Artemis mentioned that the fruit was, gray? He really got worried. To him, the fruit had the same color as always, so obviously, something was not quite right. And the moment Artemis passed out, then it confirmed that there was something horrible wrong. "Artemis!?" Llyud rushed over to Artemis, trying to see what was wrong. But, since Artemis was unconscious, he couldn't even begin to guess what was wrong. So the best he could do was to pull Artemis up, just enough to get him into the bed and making sure to tuck him in properly. But he had no idea what to do, since he didn't even know what had just happened. But, hopefully, maybe he had just overworked himself and needed some food and rest? That was something Llyud was hoping for at least. So, since he didn't know what to do, he went ahead and started on making some dinner. Maybe that would be all it took to get Artemis well again? |
The elf woke up,and was feeling very sick."Llyud..."Artemis said as he tried to sit up."I-I feel sick..."Artemis the added placing hand to his face.He then felt a strange sensation in his stomach, and stood up as fast as he could, then Artemis turned to his left away from Llyud, and vomited on the floor.Artemis wiped his mouth clean, and said without looking at Llyud."Get the medical book.It should be on the shelf..."He then again vomitted on the floor.
His medical book was a detailed copy of the real one that was kept with his old tribe. It had every illness both physical and emotional known to the nomadic elves, and hopefully it will contain his illness and a cure."Now look up color blindess, fainting, fever and vomiting....and do it quickly."Artemis comanded. |
Llyud nodded, about to do that, but first, he handed Artemis a bucket to use. Since it was disgusting to have him vomit all over the floor. Then he went and grabbed the medical book that Artemis mentioned. Though, he couldn't read it. It must be some old elven language, so, Llyud handed to to Artemis instead. "You think you can read? You still see black and white right?" Even if he was doing his best to stay calm, and trying not to panic, there was still signs of panic sipping trough. He was terrified. He didn't want something bad to happen to Artemis. He hoped it was just some illness that would pass. Otherwise it would be horrible. |
Artemis after a moment vomited one more time before standing up straighting. He then wiped his mouth clean, and took the book."Thanks...."He muttered as he read through it. He looked up the illness by it symtoms, and cursed in his native tongue, when he got to the middle of the book. The elf tossed the book, having it land inches away from the fire."Llyud, can I have something to wash this taste out of my mouth?"Artemis then added laying on the bed sighing deeply."There should be something in the tents that can cure my stomach problems at least."He then stated turning over so that he was facing the wall.
|
When Artemis looked it up and then cursed and threw the book. That was when his worries were at their worst. And on top of that, Artemis went and laid back down, telling him that there might be something in the tent for his stomach trouble, at least. Did this mean that there was no cure? Or did they just not have access to it? But making sure that Artemis was first comfortable, Llyud hurried to go get what they might have to help against the vomiting. At this rate Artemis would end up throwing his guts out. And it didn't take all too long before Llyud came back in, handing Artemis the cure for the stomach problems at least, and then quickly going to clean up what was on the floor. Even if he should be worrying about other things now, he wouldn't be leaving that on the floor. And he picked the book up too, before it would end up burning or something.. But once done, he was giving Artemis all of his attention, sitting on the bed, looking at Artemis a bit. He was a bit afraid to ask what it might be, since there might be some bad news. But if he didn't ask, he would never know. "Artemis... What did the book say that you're suffering from? What will happen? What's the cure for it?" All he could think about was to help Artemis get well again. |
Artemis took in the medicne and sighed deeply."There isn't a cure. Not yet anyway, but with only the two of us, I won't have much of a shot at living for more than a few days, or a week if I'm lucky, and even a month if it's weak enough."He said getting upset and angry all at the same time."I'm sorry Llyud..."He then stated with his anger melting into total sadness now."We'll never get this house finished, and I don't want you working alone on it...."He stated sobbing.
|
Llyud just went completely pale hearing that there was no cure, and that Artemis wouldn't have much of a chance at surviving. He just couldn't accept that. Artemis was an elf. He was supposed to have a long life. Llyud was the one that should be dying first. He just couldn't accept this. He had been prepared on that he would die first, and he had even made sure that Artemis was ready for it, even if there was some years left. It was just too hard to accept. Llyud just shook his head a bit and gave Artemis a tight hug. "Don't say that Artemis. You'll be fine. I'm sure of it. And don't worry about the house. We'll finish the rest when you're feeling better. Ok?" |
Artemis turned and looked at him."You don't get it do you!I said there's no cure!I've seen some of my friends get this and they left the tribe and died there!"He shouted sitting up,and crying."I'm done for, nothing you say can change that!"Artemis then added laying back down, and he cursed in elven again.
|
Even as Artemis clearly was upset over this, Llyud refused to accept it. He just hugged onto Artemis, hoping to calm him down a bit, shaking his head some. "If you say that, of course you will never get well. Please Artemis, just hold on. Sooner or later it will pass, and then everything will be as before. How about I just make some dinner? That might make you feel better?" It was obvious that no matter what Artemis told him, it wouldn't get trough to him, not yet at least. It was too much for Llyud to accept that this was happening at all. He just wanted Artemis to be comfortable and get well. Even if that might not happen. |
Artemis hugged Llyud back, and cried into his shoulder. He would have said something, but he was busy crying, and anything he said would have just been incohernet, and loud.
After he calmed down,Artemis looked at Llyud."So what should we do?I mean if anything I have a month left."He said in a shakey voice. |
Llyud just simply pushed Artemis down on the bed when he asked him that they were going to do. Giving him a somewhat annoyed look. "You are going to get some rest, and I will be making dinner. You need to keep your strength up if you want to get well." He told him strictly as he got out of the bed and went to make the dinner. But he wasn't sure what he wanted to make. Maybe he could make some of Artemis's favorites? But just in case, he turned back to Artemis, giving him a somewhat cheerful smile. Even if it was hopeless, Llyud was having high hopes for Artemis to recover. "What you want for dinner?" |
Artemis sat up,and watched Llyud enter the kitchen,he smiled, and stood up."I don't wanna stay in bed all day,and my stomach feels fine,so I'm not going to get sick."He stated still standing by the bed, just incase Llyud pushed him back down."And any way, fainting spells, and an upset stomach only last for an hour. The fever....I haven't gotten to that yet."He then said walking towards Llyud.
|
Llyud looked at Artemis as he got up again and stepped over to him, poking his nose while giving him a bit of an annoyed look. "Artemis. Go back to bed. You're going to rest, no matter what you say. At least rest till you had a decent meal and some good sleep and feel better. Ok? Or do I have to tie you down?" Llyud clearly wasn't listening to anything considering the illness. He didn't want to hear more. And, with some effort, managing to get Artemis back into bed, and getting dinner done, he made sure that Artemis was eating properly. But himself, he was kind of forgetting to eat. He was far too focused on getting Artemis better. |
