Ivan gave a bit of a pout when Iris started talking about shorter hair and stuff again. This was getting somewhat annoying in a way. He had just told him he would not cut his hair, and yet he kept going on about it.

"Iris, I'm not cutting it, end of discussion."

He might be acting like a stubborn child, but no matter what Iris told him, he would not cut his hair. Not even an inch. So he didn't want to hear more about this now. He liked his hair and he was proud of it. And if he cut it just because of some one suggesting it, he might end up regretting it, and then it would take years before it would grow back to the same length again. He was just not going to do it. And he liked it like this because it felt nice when Iris was pulling his fingers trough the hair. Which reminded him about the braid, so he kind of wondered how much Iris had braided so far.

"How much have you done so far?"

Ivan finally gave one of his usual smiled, happy that Iris would finally drop the subject. And when Iris mentioned his sister, Ivan did remember that he hadn't seen Iris sister around for a while. Was she away somewhere, or had he just missed her when she went out or something recently?

"I haven't really seen your sister for a while. How is she doing these days? Hes she been here visiting you anything after we came here?"

Ivan really did like Iris family. There were all so nice and friendly. A huge difference compared to his family. His father was treating Ivan more like some captain or something for the military. He got to speak with his father and all, but he always had to get down on his knees before his own father if he wanted to speak to him, and after he was done speaking, he wouldn't see him till the next time he had to speak to his father again. Probably no mystery why Ivan liked Iris family. They were all so close to each other and they were always around, and you didn't have to act all formal and getting down on your knees to speak with them and stuff. He really did wish things were like that in the castle. Then he would gladly tell his brother about who he was and that Ivan was his brother and all. But considering that his brother had it so much better now, he wouldn't do that.
But he quickly snapped out of it when Iris asked for something to tie his hair with. Since they had changed his clothes and all, he wasn't sure where his things might be, but he did see a few things on the table next to the bed, so he leaned over and grabbed what he usually had to tie it back with.

"Here you go."

Ivan couldn't help but to chuckle a bit hearing that his sister might be thinking they were really sick and didn't want to bother them. That was both cute and funny in a way. But oh well. It was nice being alone with Iris anyhow. And Iris might sometimes notice that Ivan could be a little clingy some days, but that's the days he really missed his brother. Since he didn't want to tell his brother about them being siblings and all, since that would make him ask questions, Ivan couldn't even hold or hug his brother anymore. The closest he got to him these days was either chatting with him or even being invited over for a cup of tea. But then he was to act more like a friend then a brother. But maybe one day he would tell him. The day his brother stopped being so curious about his past, but not now, since that would mean that his brother would go and find out more if he told him anything.

And as Iris went and leaned back against the pillow, Ivan gave a smile and sat close, resting his head on Iris shoulder for a bit. Really was nice having some one close to you again. He hated feeling lonely. And Ivan really had found some great to be around. Iris was without a doubt the most loyal friend anyone could get. A bit stupid, but that just made it more fun. Which friend would jump down the hole you fell into and stay with you rather then run and get help? Not many.

"Iris. You think you could read for me now?"

When Iris got up and went to find a book, Ivan was watching him curiously. He was curious of what Iris would pick to read. But there didn't seem to be all that many books since Iris didn't seem to find anything but medicine books. And if that was all there was, he would rather not have him read for him. But when Iris finally found something, Ivan gave a bright smile when he saw what kind of book it was. Fairy tales were always fun to listen to, so Ivan really would love it if Iris read that one.

"Fairy tales will do fine. I love them. So much more fun then other books."

Ivan loved fairy tales probably as much as Iris did. He didn't care if it was meant for children. They were still good.

Ivan gave a smile when Iris asked him to pick a number. So there was that many stories in there huh? Ivan kind of wanted to hear all of them. They did have allot of time to read trough them after all, since Ivan wouldn't get to leave for a month, while Iris could leave within a week or so. He really hoped that Iris would come visit him every single day till Ivan could leave the doctors house. Or maybe he could even ask to be moved to Iris house if his parents allowed it. He wouldn't want to be alone at the doctors house at night. But he might have to be, at least till Iris could ask his family about it. But Iris couldn't leave yet anyhow, so it wasn't the time to think about that yet. For now, he was just making himself comfortable and waiting for Iris to begin to read for him.

"Since we're both going to be here for a while, at least I am, can't you just read the first story first? I really would like to hear all of them."

Ivan gave a smile as he moved as close as possible to Iris, sitting next to him and leaning against him, resting his head comfortable on the others shoulder, just giving a soft sigh, obviously being really comfortable. As close as they were, people that didn't know them would probably assume they were brothers or something at first sight. But Ivan kind of wish they were in a way. Then he wouldn't have to keep going back to the castle all the time. But on other hand, that really made him treasure moments like this more.

When Iris started reading for him, Ivan had a bit of a hard time to understand at first, but he eventually got into it, and then it was more easy to understand. But when Iris started talking about how long they were to stay there, it was probably obvious enough that Iris would get to leave some time soon. Ivan would probably have to stay longer though. And that kind of bugged him a bit. Snuggling closer to Iris, he closed his eyes for a bit.

"You will most likely get to leave sometime soon, since you're pretty much fine... Could you promise me that you'll come and visit me here every day? Would be rather lonely otherwise..."

Even if neither Iris or the nurse seemed to notice, Ivan had fallen asleep while Iris had been reading for him. And even if the nurse and Iris was a bit loud, he was still fast asleep. He always got tired from stories, even if he loved them. And as the nurse and Iris was being a bit loud, all Ivan did was snuggle his face into Iris side, continuing to sleep. But Iris would have to wake him up if he wanted Ivan to eat something, otherwise, he would just sleep trough the entire meal and end up not eating a thing. And that wasn't good. Ivan usually became a bit cranky if he got hungry. And then he just wanted to sleep even more. If he was to recover he had to do something more then sleep all day. Not that there was much he could do at the moment though.

Ivan was pretty much deep asleep ever till the nurse left. And as Iris was moving a bit as he was eating. Then he groaned a bit, nuzzling against Iris a bit before he opened his eyes slightly, giving a yawn.

"Hmm...? When did the food come here...?"

He mumbled, obviously still tired, but also rather hungry. And seeing he had a tray of food to, he smiled a bit, moving it up to his own lap, before leaning back against Iris again, too sleepy to really find the fork.

"Iris... Feed me. I'm too sleepy to find the fork..."

Ivan nodded a bit, moving the tray a bit so that Iris could feed him. And hearing that the nurse had snuck them in a treat made him smile. Might be obvious enough, but yeah. Ivan loved sweets. Specially chocolate. That was among his favorites.
so finally managing to place the tray right, he still refused to lift his head off of Iris shoulder, and waited for Iris to feed him. Sometimes it was fun to act a bit spoiled. But god he would miss having Iris here with him both night and day when Iris was well enough to leave. Iris was pretty much well enough already, so it probably wouldn't be long till Iris could leave. And that was rather sad.

"You found out yet for how much longer you will be staying here?"

Ivan looked down a bit hearing that. It was nice that Iris would be coming to see him every day, but still... He didn't like being alone. He really wished that Iris could just stay there with him till he could leave instead. But oh well. No need to ruin their moment. So Ivan soon enough turned the frown upside down and give a smile and opened his mouth when Iris was to feed him. Ivan really was easy enough to please. He really enjoyed simple things.

Ivan took the food and munched on it for a while when Iris feed him, smiling some at that. This was the kind of stuff he used to do with his little brother. Sit around and feed him, pretty much just to tease him though, since his brother never liked to be treated as a kid. So this brought back some rather fun memories.

But as Iris mentioned that Ivan could stay with them till he had to go back to his father, he really seemed to wake up a bit. He just wish it was earlier then when he can leave here. Couldn't he just come with Iris once Iris left? Ivan was pretty much ok now to. It was just his darn leg.

"Just wish I wouldn't have stay here at all once you're ready to go though... It's going to be so boring..."

Ivan really hoped that he could get to stay with Iris and his family for a while instead of here. He had seen some of the people around that worked here, including the doctor, around town before. And specially the doctor was a creep. Ivan would probably be having nightmares about that darn doctor if he was here alone. So he was really hoping for the best. And just thinking about that doctor gave him chills down his spine.

He took the foo on the fork held in front of him and munched on it for a bit before he swallowed it to speak.

"I really hope I won't have to stay here. I seen the doctor around town. He's a real creep. I would probably be having nightmares about him if I'm here alone."
