For some reason, Llyud couldn't make eye contact with Artemis for a few moments, but as he mentioned different types of love he looked at him. He was actually somewhat flushed himself. Barely visible, but it was there. And he pretty much just watched Artemis for a few moments as he was speaking. Why couldn't he have compared it to friendship and family and such at first? That would have made it more easy to understand. But on other hand, he had liked the kiss.

But he wasn't all too sure yet what it was he was feeling, so why not try it again? The kiss had surprised him a bit, so he hadn't really had time to properly enjoy the kiss. So, it was just to make sure what it was he was feeling as he pretty much grabbed Artemis and pulled him into another one. This one, lasting a bit longer before he pulled apart. That pretty much felt right.

"I would guess it's that one. Is that the 'true love' feeling you spoke of, or was that something else?"

Well. Seems Llyud at least got it right now. Now he at least knew what 'true love' was. Now it was just all other strange emotions. But he would save those for later. For now, he was thinking about the fruit actually. If the other elves found the fruit, they would most likely take all of it. So maybe they should try take along as much of the fruit as they could back to the tent? They didn't seem to be eating something Llyud could eat all that often.

"Just once question. Since there is the chance the other elves finds the tree, should we bring back as much of the fruit as possible?"

There probably wasn't much of a chance for the other elves to find the tree, but there still always was a small chance, so it would be better to not take chances. If they did, Llyud might end up strawing.

"I do eat other types of fruit too. I just don't eat meat other then from fish. But most of our food is fruit and vegetables."

Probably was hard for some one to see that Aegyl that were pretty much born fighters, and most likely could be really good hunters, were pretty much vegetarian. But to be able to keep their strength up to have the energy to fly, they needed allot of vegetables and fruit. Meat just didn't have what they need the most.

Llyud got up and started picking up as much as he could carry. There wasn't all that much, but it should last him for a while. This fruit was many's favorite since it was sweet and it was very nutritious. You could survive on them alone for a long time. But eventually you of course had to eat something else in between.

Llyud walked with Artemis back to the tent, and made sure to put the fruit in the basket that Artemis pointed out for him. The day had pretty much just started, but Llyud was completely beat already, so once he had put the fruit in the basket, he went and laid down, not on what he had been sleeping in tonight, but on Artemis bed instead for some reason. Maybe because it smelled like him or something like that? But oh well. He just made himself comfortable, laying on his stomach and letting his wings stretch out to the sides to dry properly after the almost drowning incident. They probably looked dry by now, but they were still somewhat damp, so stretching them out and laying comfortable was for the best. Even if he was having a bit trouble stretching the injured wing out, but it was either that or the feathers would be completely ruined.

But at least he was really enjoying himself, taking Artemis bed rather then the one that was meant for him. But it wasn't time to sleep yet anyhow, so Artemis didn't need it. If he wanted to sleep, he would either have to take the other bed, or ask Llyud to move over a bit, but he was not getting up.

Llyud just watched the little girl while she was there. Seemed none of the elves spoke to him unless they had to. In fact, it seemed the girl didn't even notice him. Maybe he was a bit scary for little kids like that? Aegyl was rare as it was. And one staying with an elf was even more rare. And on top of it, his coloring was rather unusual. Red wasn't a common color. Actually, they preferred not to let that coloring pass into the next generation. Red Aegyl stood out too much. But it didn't mean he was being treated any different from other Aegyl. He just was forbidden to have children, since they were trying to prevent any more Aegyl with strong colors to be born. You melted in with the environment so much more easy if you were brown or black. But on other hand, then it was fine for him to be in love with another guy.

He watched as the little girl left, and looked up at Artemis as he spoke. Yeah, he probably wouldn't be good as a tribe leader. None of the other elves paid him any respect. They would kill him when they had the chance to.

"You should simply say no if you're chosen. They don't have any respect for you. And unless you plan on killing all of them except for the children and start a tribe all over, you're as good as dead once the old man is gone."

Probably sounded a bit as if Llyud wouldn't be there when Artemis became tribe leader, if he did. But, he was seriously considering to leave once he could fly again. Would be better that way. His life was short. He would only bring Artemis pain if he stayed and died because of his body not being able to take more rather then dying of old age. None of his people died of age. It was all because of their bodies failing them.

Llyud looked at him for a bit, listening to him. He really couldn't imagine Artemis as a tribe leader. At least not if he was to try all of it alone. Maybe Llyud should stay for a while. And he might sound cruel for what he said next, but he was just making a suggestion. He had a more easy time to handle death and such.

"I could do it for you if it comes down to it. I don't think I could just leave you to fend for yourself."

Probably not the right moment to talk about something like that when Artemis was to fix his wing for him. But Llyud had just gained emotions and he still didn't understand them and all, so he still didn't have anything against killing another if he had to. And he was not going to let anyone harm Artemis.

Llyud watched Artemis as he was fixing his wing. It hurt allot less this time then the first, so it was clear that it was getting allot better. He knew exactly what he would do once he could fly again. He was going to take Artemis for a flight. He couldn't be that heavy, right? He was an elf after all. And Llyud could bet that Artemis would like the view. But he would save that as a surprise. He wanted to see Artemis reaction the moment he brought him up in the air. So telling him now would ruin the surprise.

He gave a bit of a sigh, letting Artemis work on his wing. How on earth could the first emotions he got to feel towards some one be love? And towards this guy? Artemis was quite an unlucky guy, so, how on earth would this work out? At this rate, Llyud might have to be the one dragging Artemis bum away from an angry mob of elves.

Llyud watched as Artemis was being dragged away. Oh well. Might be good to let the injury breath a bit instead of wrapping it up before it has time to dry properly. And while Artemis was gone, he stretched both wings out to their full length, and grabbing the blanket of Artemis bed and pulling that over himself and going to sleep. He would just ask Artemis about who was to become tribe leader once he came back. He refused to move out of the bed. It was nice and cozy, and it smelled just like Artemis, so it didn't take him long to drift off into sleep.

Though, when Artemis came back, he opened his eyes a bit, looking at him, feeling somewhat confused. What happened? The poor guy looked terrified. Was he to become the new tribe leader, or had they decided to get rid of him or something?

"Artemis? What happened? Your expression is strange."

Since he didn't know fear or sadness yet, he wasn't sure what was shown on Artemis face. But there was a slight hint of something he recognized. Pain. But not the usual type, but some other. So it had to be something bad.

Seemed that Artemis worst nightmare had come true huh? But it could always have been worse. Llyud had no idea how, but he could bet it could be allot worse.
He moved out of the bed and over to Artemis. He had no clue what to do, but, he would simply do what he could think of. simply letting Artemis know that Llyud was there for him and would support him. specially now as he was having a hell.
But his way of showing it might be a bit odd, since what he did, was simply laying down, but over Artemis. He refused to lay right on the floor. But he was still going to show Artemis that he was there for him. He would never be able to leave. The poor elf would probably break if Llyud left. And he didn't want to know what his own emotions might be. He had nothing to go back to, so he would stay. Was better that way.

And right now, he really was comfortable, even if he way laying over Artemis, drifting back into sleep. Maybe it would be enough for Artemis to feel better. Even if Llyud probably looked like a lseepy pet right now rather then a friend.

Llyud really wasn't liking all the talk outside the tent, since he wanted to sleep. But when Artemis hugged him, crying into his shoulder. He was actually liking it. Since it felt as if he was doing something good for the elf. He wasn't sure what to do though, so he just stayed still, letting Artemis do as he liked. But he really wished that Artemis would just go outside and tell them he was fine and to go away. But they would probably get tired eventually. So, better let the guy cry his eyes out first so he had a chance to calm down.

"Is it really that bad? You seem to have a few that's glad about it. Maybe you can make some changes, and make sure no one has to be treated as they have treated you? And if it's to any help. I will stay for as long as you want me to."

((Heading to bed now. Night))

He blinked a bit as Artemis let got of him. He had kind of hoped to stay like that for a bit. It was comfortable. But oh well. Nothing lasted forever.
He gave a bit of a such, deciding that he would go join Artemis outside with the other elves. If he intended to stay and Artemis was to become tribe leader. He most likely would have to get used to the other elves too. Even if he didn't like them. So he followed Artemis outside, but stayed a bit in the back. So far, it didn't seem like the elves really liked to have him there at all. But that was how things were. No race was found of having an outsider among them. So all that Llyud could do was stay in the back. But that suited him rather fine. He was rather anti social anyhow. But it still felt a bit strange being around so many elves, and only one of them accepted him.

Llyud was a bit surprised as Artemis grabbed his hand and pulled him closer to the group. He really had no idea what it was about, till Artemis said that he was to be his adviser. Was Artemis really serious? He wanted Llyud to become his adviser? He had no idea what to say. He just had a strange feeling. As if he just wanted to hug and kiss Artemis for some reason. But he knew it might be bad to do that in front of the other elves, so he would have to wait for a bit till they had some privacy instead. And he would make sure to ask Artemis what that feeling was too.

But he snapped out of it when some one asked about if he was good with kids. Well. Aegyl worked somewhat like a pack. Everyone helped taking care of the children. But the children were really forced into acting grown up early, since no one wanted to take care of them forever. So they had to learn fast to take care of themselves.
But he would have to correct Artemis, since Aegyl did have children rather often. They had to, since they were decreasing in numbers. They had to get their numbers back up.

"Actually, Artemis. We Aegyl do have allot of children. And everyone helps taking care of them. Somewhat like a pack of wolves. But they learn early to take care of themselves. So I do have some experience with children."

But Artemis would be lucky if he never had to meet an Aegyl kid. They were allot more different then the elves. They didn't laugh, or cry, or really play around or anything. They just did what you told them to, and with the same expression and personality as all other Aegyl. Cold and aloof.

As the elves were leaving, and him and Artemis was going back into the tent. He looked oddly at Artemis. But he knew the thing about lying. And he could see Artemis point. Considering how he was always sticking up for Artemis and being around him most of the time. And not being of their race. He probably seemed more like a pet then a friend. And he really wasn't used to emotions. So he probably wouldn't have any clue on how to handle a crying child or something. But oh well. He still had something he was curious about. And since there was no one around right now, he would make sure to ask.

But it would probably be a surprise for Artemis, as Llyud just suddenly kissed him. But it was a rather short one this time. And not much emotion into it right now, since the emotion had worn off a bit. But it was to ask what the emotion meant.

"I felt like doing that when you announced that you wanted me as your adviser. What is that feeling called?"
