"Sure!" Umay and Celest said, "We'll stay with Mama!" Hazel nodded and said, "Have fun!" they walked away, leaving Tyson and Alex in the field.

Alex smiled at Tyson "so lets race to the big old oak tree near the border or our home." he said happly

"Okay, on three." he got down low. "readysetgo!" he charged off into the distance. I'll show you who will be Alpha. he thought.

Alex smerked a little bit and ran off after him. I am going to beat you he and found himself running on all fours and was catching up to him. Soon he was neck and neck with Tyson

Tyson put on some extra speed. there's the oak! he thought, hoping his inner Mountain lion would come and give him a burst of speed. It did. He charged ahead with a roar and leaped into the branches. "Whoo! I win!" he called triumphantly.

Alex looked at Tyson and smiled "yeah but just bearly" he said as he sat down on the ground. "I almost beat you."

"Yeah, but just barely." but I still won.

Alex smiled at Tyson "but one day I will beat you" he said happly

Tyson resisted the urge to growl. he will NEVER beat me!

Alex looked at him "lets head back to Hazel, I am starving."

"Right... I'm hungry too!" Tyson jumped off the branch and headed back, making sure he was in front.

Alex smiled and ran after him but saw how he wanted to be first and felt like he should be first so he started to race ahead of Tyson so tha the could be first.

"Oh no you don't!" Tyson growled. He leaped ahead, running full tilt.

Alex smerked "no way I am winning this time" he said and pulled ahead of Tyson

Tyson growled as he saw the clearing.

Umay perked her ears. "What is that-" She was cut off by her brother who careened into her and knocked her over. "Tyson! Get off of her!" Celest yipped.

Alex slip to a stop and smiled happly "yes I win this time" he said happly then looked at Tyson and Celest "are you two okay"

"You did not win!" Tyson protested, getting off of Umay. "I so won!" he got up in Alex's face.

Alex looked at Tyson and growled "no I won and you know it" he said as he got into Tysons face

Tyson growled. "Why I ought a-" He was interrupted by a smack on the head. Hazel had delivered a smack to both of them. "Boys! I am astonished! We are all friends here! I don't know what would drive you to such outragish behavior! No dinner for you tonight!" "But Ma-" "No!"

Alex looked at Hazel then looked down ashamed. Then turned to Tyson "sorry" he said softly. "I am going to go out for a little bit" he said then ran off

Shadow looked at where Alex had dissappered then at Tyson. "boys will be boys" he siad to Hazel

"Still, they shouldn't have fought." Hazel objected as Tyson slunk off. "If you see Alex with food girls," Hazel called to Umay and Celest. "Tell me and take it form him."

Shadow looked at Hazel "I dont think Alex is going to go get food, I think he is going off to train"

Alex was out running aorund like a maniac trying to get stronger so that he could beat Tyson at a race soon.

"Hmm. he'll just make himself hungrier."

Tyson went to the creek with Umay and Celest. "Tyson, why did you attack Alex?" Celest asked. "He's better at me! He will take away my chances of being alpha and you seriously don't want a human leading this pack, do you?" He dove into the river and they followed him into the cave.

Alex was running around still and soon found himself at the river. He was panting and really tired but he didn't care. He dove into the river and started to practice holding his breath underwater

"Ahh! Alex is out there!" Celest told Tyson. "We'll just stay in here." He said. "Your right Tyson, but I think Mama and Shadow would know better than to anoint Alex as a Alpha." Umay said.
