"Buster and Umay went hunting." Hazel said. "Do you want some prey?"

Shadow smiled "sounds great" he said and walked over to Hazel and licked her cheek.

Hazel smiled. "You guys go do something fun, us oldies feel like going down memory lane." Hazel said jokingly. Umay nodded and got up, soon followed by Tyson. "Come back in Christian." Celest called. "You are spending the day in here."

Christien slowly made his way over "where am I spending the day at?" he asked as he looked at Celest.

Clair stood besides Tyson happly and Buster stood next to Umay.

"Right here, you have to stay here and rest." The fact that there was now an even amount of girls and boys in the camp did not even occur to her yet.

"So, where do we want to go today?" Tyson asked. "I dunno." Umay said.

Christien nodded "okay" he said with a smile then licked her before he made his way back to Celests bush to rest.

Buster smiled "how about if we go to the stream or up to the mountains." he said with a smile.

"Yeah!" Umay hadn't been up there in awhile. "I want to see Mother Bear, we saw her once while you were gone Tyson, but that was it!"

Celest smiled and felt her ears grow hot. There are a even amount of girls and boys now. She thought suddenly.

buster smiled "then lets go" he said happly

CClair nodded "yeah sounds like a good idea."

Tyson led the way with Clair as usual by his side. Soon they were at the mountain. "You have to be really polite at first." Umay whispered to Buster. "But after they see your no threat, they let you play with the new cubs!"

Buster nodded and licked her cheek "okay and it sounds like fun." he said softly

Clair smiled and couldn't wait to me the bears.

They were soon at the top of the mountain. Umay stepped forward and called out, "Mother Bear, where are you?" But there was no reply.

Buster looked aorund a little when he heard no reply "are you sure we are at teh right place."

"Of course we are." Umay said. "They are probably just out somewhere. "There was frost this morning. Maybe they are finding winter dens!" She hoped that was the answer. Tyson sniffed the ground. "They weren't here this morning." He said.

Clair got worryed "maybe the humans drove them off." she said softly

"We've never seen them this far up." Umay said. "Maybe they are just out for the day. We can stay here. There is a nice herd of deer in that direction." Umay pointed with her tail. Tyson nodded. "There is probably nothing to worry about."

Clair looked at Tyson and nodded "I hope your right" she said and licked his cheek.

Umay sniffed around. "They went that way, isn't there a bunch of strawberries over there?" She looked at Tyson. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure."

Buster nodded "then we should check it out and see what is going on." he said as he looked at Tyson

"Lets go." Tyson padded forward, wondering if everything was ok. Umay waited for Buster and walked by him.

Clair nodded and walked next to Tyson, Buster smiled at Umay when she walked beside him.

Soon they were at the blueberry bushes. "I don't smell the bears..." Tyson said uncertainly.

Clair got worryed and started to sniff around closely to the ground.

Buster did the same, wanting to make sure that they where sure that the bears where never here.

"Do you remember the humans last night? They were attacking Christian really badly." Tyson said, half to himself. "I hope they didn't come over here."

Clair nodded "yeah, I hope so too." she said and burryed her nose into Tysons fur, looking for comfort.

Christien came limping out from behind a boulder "if your looking for the bears, they are gone. I managed to warn them about the humans before they got close to them and I managed to avert there attention to me." he said as he looked at them. He looked better then before and wasn't breathing very hard from the walk up here.

Celest padded out reluctantly behind him. "He insisted we came." She said. "Though it is against my better judgement." She looked around. "Human attacks are certainly on the rise. and with Leaf-bare so close..." she said half to herself.
