Raven looked around. "I'm new here, so can someone tell me who was next in line?" Celeste realized what he meant. "Oh, Tyson was always going to be Alpha." she said confidently.

Buster and christien nodded, "I think he would do a great job as alpha." buster said.

Tyson reminded himself to glare at Celeste later. Umay smiled. "Come on Tyson, it's easy. all you do is tell people when to hunt!" Tyson thought it might be a tad harder than that, but he nodded. "Fine."

Clair smiled and licked his cheek, "you will do great and I will be by your side." she said as she looked at him and smiled

Raven wagged his tail. "If any of you feel like comforting Hazel, please do so. Quite frankly I am starving so I'll go off and hunt." Celeste and Umay nodded and rushed into the cave.

Clair ran inside also and licked Hazels head. She knew what it felt like loseing someon since she had lost her whole other pack.

Hazel had nearly fallen asleep when Tyson came in. "How about we go hunting, it will take our minds off things." "Yeah, Hazel fell asleep."

Clair nodded, "lets go." she said and licked Hazels cheek before going out of the cave.

Soon they were wandering around in the woods, trying to hunt. Tyson had caught a rabbit, but with winter so close, they hadn't found anything else.

Clair smiled, happy to be out and hunting. But winter was comeing soon and she couldn't wait.

Raven was worrying. "First Shadow's death, and it will soon be winter...."

Buster sighed, "seems like bad things keep on happening but I am going to go and check on Hazel." he said and walked inside to check on her.

Hazel had woken up at the absence of the two she-wolves. She woke up, stretched, and sniffed the air anxiously. "Soon it will be winter." she said. "We need more prey." She stood up and then saw Buster.

Buster smiled at Hazel, "just came to see who you are doing." he said as he looked at her

"I am not a pup you know." she said with a scoff. "I was just thinking that it will be winter soon and we need more prey. Did the others go and get some?"

Buster nodded, "yeah but I don't think that they got much."

"Hmm." Hazel thought for a moment. "We should have prepared. It is my fault, I should go hunting." she flicked her ears and padded off into the woods.

Buster watched her go and then went on his own to go and get some food. He hunted better when he was on his own.

Raven and the Cubs had wandered off, just chatting. Tyson perked his ears. "Hey, I think Buster got Hazel out and about!" he said happily, as he saw Hazel sniffing around. "Hi!" Umay called, and hazel flicked her ear to show she was busy.

Buster was on the other side of the teritory and was tracking something that smelled like a deer.

Celeste went over. "Found anything?" she asked. "Not yet. That means winter is coming." Celeste was amazed at how quickly her mother had gotten over her grief. Raven went over. "It's alright."

Buster soon saw a small heard of dear and knew that he was lucky. He started to stlak them silently.

"I should have known better." Hazel said. "Where is Buster? He came to me, then he left." she sniffed the air. "I'm not sure." Umay said truthfully, suddenly nervous.

Buster then finally picked out a nice sized deer and charged. They all scattered and he brought down the one he he wanted. He then howled to the others saying he got food.

"Speak of him." Raven said with a smile. "He must've caught something. Come on, let's go." The cubs followed Raven while Hazel trailed behind, thinking miserably how she should have done better.
