Umay scooted him out of the cave. "Now you go get some fresh air." she said, then turning back into the cave.

Shay sighed and went touside. He went to tyson, "can you show me the rest of the teritory."

"Sure!" Tyson said, getting up and stretching. "Hey Shadow, why don't you come too? I heard you haven't seen all of it." "Sure." The two male wolves walked out of camp.

Shay smiled and troted after them happly and kept up.

"So you saw the river, and the big tree..." Tyson thought for a bit. "Wanna see the Thunderpath?" Raven nodded at Tyson's choice, the Thunderpath should be stayed away from, and knowing what it was is important.

shay smiled, "that sound cool, lets go." he said as he smiled at Tyson and coudlnt' wait to see it.

Shadow knew the way, so he led them to the Thunderpath. "Shay, you may never cross this unless you are with one of us." Tyson said, looking across the smelly, stinking black strip.

Shay nodded but then looked at them, "but why is that?" he asked

"Large human things roll across here and won't see a young pup like you." Raven explained. "you could die out there."

Shay shuddered at the thought and made a mental note to avoid this place.

"Now come on." Tyson said, noticing the shudder in Shay's body. "We'll show you the cave that allowed us to come into this place."

Shay nodded, "yeah, lets go." he said and walked next to tyson.

Tyson led the way, wondering if Shadow's body was still there. They hadn't buried it, but it had only been a week since his death. Maybe some birds took it away.

Shay looked around at his new home and took in the sights and sounds of everything around him.

Tyson saw the cave and stopped. "That's it, up there." He said, hoping that Shay wouldn't want to go up.

Shay looked at her and started to walk closer to it, "can we take a closer look?" he asked and looked at Tyson.

"Um... alright, but be careful, something might be up there." Tyson said as he slowly went up the hill.

Shay nodded and followed Tyson up. As they got closer he saw a bunch of dead leaves and durt in a corner where Shadow was but didn't think about it.

Tyson saw the pile and sighed when Shay looked away. "That tunnel over there leads to our old territory, but humans probably have taken over by now."

Shay nodded, "okay, then I guess I won't head over there." he said as he looked at him.

"Good idea." Tyson said, and Raven knew that Tyson wasn't very comfortable there. "Come on Shay, let's go back to camp. It's getting late." he said.

Shay nodded and started to walk back to camp.

Raven and Tyson followed slowly, talking about Celeste. "Did Umay say anything about the future?" Celeste will survive, but she can't hunt anymore. The Firestick hit her right in the leg, and it can't stand much movement."

Shay couldn't wait to get back to camp to see Celest. He hoped that she would be okay after everything.

Umay was outside of the den when she saw Shay walk in. Hazel was inside with Celeste, so he wouldn't be able to see them yet.
