"You're here to help me?" Amiretta said, looking at Emilie with new eyes. "Do you know where my mother is? Was she really a good person or was she a phycopath?" She stopped and looked down in embarrassment. "No offense Ivan but really..."

Emilie shook her head.
"I couldn't tell you, I only have a very short memory of her, but what I can tell you is that she loved you very much."

Amiretta let out a tiny sigh of relife. Even that is something. Those two beasts in the meadow didn't seem capable of loving anything more then the pain of others so that alone set's her apart.

Ok, think of it this way: You've already memorized the entire thing. You can easily drop the book in the lake, which appears to be made of, she sniffed it acids and saltwater.

Tievel jumped off of Opal and landed on the gorund iwth out a sound. Then ran after Hazel on all fours following her sent and hoped that she would not do anything stupid with that book. That was very important and they needed it. When he got close to her and growled "hand over the book now and we will just forget what you have done"

Ivan smiled at Amiretta then looked up into the sky wondering what is other half was doing now and hoped that it wasn't anything to bad

Opal, in a moment of foresight, pulled out a small glass vial filled with a glowing milky liquid. Opal poured out a single drop and watched it fall into the lake. With a massive cracking, akin to thunder, the entire lake froze solid.
"Hand over the book this instant, lest you irk me further and force me to bring my wrath down upon your head."

"Why do you want this book so badly?" she asked, trying to stall. It would be awesome if someone came randomly up and killed these two losers. They were nothing like her, she was in the high ranks! they were probably just jealous. "I mean, what would or could happen? Its not like lives hang in the balance."

Opal brought her hand to her face.
"You infant, can you not comprehend that the book you hold in your hands could turn the tide of this war!? Should the Lights get ahold of it and free Corona, and should she finish the work she started... We might lose."
Opal summoned her scythe.
"Anyway, the second part of my assignment before god knows what happened to me, was to bring that diary directly to Lucifer himself. where it will be bound or destroyed. Also, if by some unfathomable idiocy on your part you have failed to recognise me, I am Opal Nightshade - Crimson rain, the fourth seat of the esteemed Dark elite. And Tievel will most likely be reinstated as third seat."
Opal smiled at Tievel.
"We left it vacant just for you."
Opal turned back to Hazel.
"Why don't we make a deal... You bring the book back with us and I'll put in a good word and get you promoted. What position would you like?"

She puts up a good offer. "May I think about it?" she said. "I won't move, I'll just sit right here, I'll even out the book a safe distance from the edge." she had to think.

Opal drifted down to the ground, her metal heels clicking on the stones near the lakeshore.
"All right, dont take too long with your deliberation though."

Emilie gasped, looking up from her jerky.
"Oh no, something good, I mean bad is happening! I don't know what, but right now Opal is starting to feel really happy."

That was good, she had bought some time. What to do? She could easily just do what that Evil Opal told her too, but then, something was holding her back. She knew that Opal would probably never put in a good word, and she didn't like being called an infant. She was soooo tempted....... She wondered how fast Ice melted.

Opal pulled out a black nailfile and started grooming her nails.
"You wouldnt happen to be thinking of betraying me now would you."
Opal's slitted red eyes locked on to Hazel, boring into her soul.
"Because that would be a very stupid thing to do. Would you like me to demonstrate exactly why I'm the fourth seat, and why they call me crimson rain?"

Tievel smerked as he sat down next to Opal. "great I will happly take my seat back." he said happy to hear that they left his seat open. He glared at hazel when Opal said that she might be thinking about betraying them. "trust me girly you dont want her to show you why." he siad with a smerk "or you could let me do it Opal. I want to feel blood on my hands again. I want to be reminded why they call me Red wolf and why I have the third seat." he said as his claws grew and he looked at Hazel.

Opal smiled.
"Actually you might prefer him. I tend to like drawing it out. I keep you alive while your body slowly bleeds out as I cut at it, And you won't be able to move. My scythe is coated with a fast acting venom that paralyses, but keeps all the nerves on a hair-trigger. You'll feel everything..."

Tievel looked at Opal "you always did have fun when you killed someone. You just loved to hear there screams and let them beg for mercy. I simply love your handy work." he said with a smile since that was what he loved about her. She just loved to torture her prey. "I on the other hand usually go for a fast bloody kill. I like stabing my claws into my preys stomch or heart and let there blood coat my arms and body. The feeling of blood on me is wonderfull I can never get enough of it." he said as he thought about how wonderfull it would feel to have blood on him once more

They were FREAKING her out. Gosh darn it, sure, she was the commander of a very powerful army, but gosh darn it, she was no threat to these Elites. She might be able to take on Ivan, but probably not Opal, and definitly not two at once.

Emilie stood, her legs still shaky and stretched her arms with her six white wings and began to sing. The melody started low and gentle, but slowly began to get faster and faster, causing the air around her to stir and glow with diffused white light. When her song reached it's crescendo the air crackled and seemed to explode with white light. And suddenly Hazel stood before them, looking bewildered.

Opal almost retched, Hazel had disappeared and the air was now foul with the taint of light magic. Opal screamed in frustration.
"That annoying little... thing! I seem to have underestimated her."

"What?!" She looked around. She saw the Light Opal standing in front of her, with Amiretta and Good Ivan next to her. "How did I get here? I was fine!" She looked around, wondering if Evil Opal was nearby.

Tievel growled and stabed his claws into a tree. "we will never do that again." he said then droped to all fours and started to see if he could find Hazels sent. He growled when he couldn't and said "that little witch, if she shows her face to me agian I am going to kill her." he then stood up and looked at Opal "what do we do now?"

Ivan smiled at Hazel " a thank you would be nice, you know" he said as he walked over to her. "and welcome to the angel side" he said since he knew the darks would not take her back since they thought that she betrayed them and if she showed her face there agian she would be killed right away.

Opal walked over to the spot where Hazel had been standing, an uncharacteristic grin on her face.
"It seems the fates smile upon us this night."
Opal stooped down and stood with a small leather bound book in her hand.
"She seems to have left us a present."

Emilie smiled and began to wobble.
"Oh good. You're safe..."
Suddenly the ground seemed to jump up at Emilie's face before her vision went black.

"Who said I was joining you?!" she said with disgust. She looked around. "Aah dang it! They got it." She shrugged. "memorized it all anyway." she fixed Good Opal and Good Ivan with a glare. "I sure hope your rested, your going to need your strength to tell me what exactly just happened." The second they were done, she was heading to the Hidden Lands to get to Corona.
