"So just to confirm we're all on the same side aight," Scott asked the group.

flamingcatdemon 04-27-2009 03:24 AM

Opal sent them flying into the air with a flap of her wings and then laughed maniacally.
"Sorry, love, just playing a little trick on you. We could have gotten where we need to go just as easily from the ground."
Opal lifted her scythe and slashed the air, it's silver blade leaving a jagged black gash. Opal grabbed both sides and pulled, widening the portal. Inside the gash was unfathomable blackness with no end, but that was only the lobby. Where they were headed was much worse.

silverkittyempress 04-27-2009 11:10 AM

She headed out of the clearing, she personally wasn't sure if she wanted to be with them or not. They seemed to know Tievel's and Opal's weakness's, so she wondered if she should stay with them. "Don't let yourself sink to that level Hazel" she growled to herself.

Lady Lily 04-27-2009 07:18 PM

Amiretta flapped her wings experimentally, testing to see if she had her strength back. "So. What's next? Are we finding Corona, or what?"

silverkittyempress 04-27-2009 09:21 PM

Hazel decided she was going to go around the mountains. She decided that she should have thought of that earlier. It was much shorter, and she was soon farther away from those Lights.

friedrice 04-28-2009 12:30 AM

"Sure I have no problem with that," Scott announced his answer. "Except we have no lead where it may be. For all we know it it could be at the heart of demon territory," Scott said.

silverkittyempress 04-28-2009 11:11 AM

Hazel was starting to think she should have stayed with those no-good angels. She had already had to avoid three traps, and had to run from a small pack of fairies. "They'll catch up." she said, turning southwest.

Palmoun 04-29-2009 12:50 AM

Tievel Scowled then smerked "so in other words you just wanted me on top of you." he said then saw the demon capitals lobby. He smiled and said "home sweet home"

Ivan smiled and stood up "come on we need to catch up with Hazel, she is the only one who knows where Corona is and how to get there." he siad then picked up the sleeping Emile. "come on, She went this way" he said and started to follow Hazels foot prints

friedrice 04-29-2009 01:49 AM

"Aight, follow Hazel then," Scott said with much enthusiasm.

flamingcatdemon 04-29-2009 02:16 AM

Emilie stretched and blinked her eyes open before realising she was cradled in Ivan's arms. She blushed violently, the red starkly contrasting to her pale skin.
"O-oh. my. Um."
Emilie cleared her throat and looked up at Ivan.
"Um Y-you don't have to c-carry me anymore if you don't want to..."
Emilie pulled her wings inside her body so it would be easier for Ivan to carry her. This was also an invaluable trick that would allow her to pass as human.

Opal smacked the back of Tievel's head with her forked tail.
"Oh my, what was that. a bird?"
Opal smirked and did a flip, bucking Tievel unceremoniously off of her back into the lobby.

silverkittyempress 04-29-2009 11:08 AM

Hazel had stopped to eat a few helpless fairies, but now she was feeling great. Fairies were a special delecasy for Darks, they renew your spirit.

Palmoun 04-29-2009 10:42 PM

Ivan smiled seeing Emilie awake but wasn't to sure about letting her walk. "I will carry you till you get your energy back" he said and continued to follow Hazels tracks

Tievel smerked when Opal bucked him off and sent him. He smiled and did a head long dive right into the floor of the lobby. He made a hug dent in the floor but he got up and brushed some dirt off his clothes. "man I missed that" he siad as he walked away from the dent and followed Opal.

flamingcatdemon 04-30-2009 06:54 AM

Opal's body was suddenly enveloped in feathery shadows. They swayed around her like black flames consuming wood. After a second the shadows dispelled and Opal tossed her long red hair. Her jagged and imposing metal armor had been replaced by a black silk kimono decorated with red swallowtail butterflies. Her metal shoes had also been replaced by knee high black heels. Her horns had stayed relatively the same size, but were now less jagged and more gracefully curved. Her four gigantic wings had shrunk and were now a comfortable size, with about a three foot wingspan. Opal turned and looked back at Tievel, her once red eyes now a striking crystal blue with slitted pupils.
"Missed what? Damaging the floor?"
Opal looked back at the dent and watched as it slowly repaired itself. After a few seconds the slick black surface looked like it had never been touched. Opal looked back at Tievel and raised an eyebrow, flicking her tail in amusement.
"Have fun with that. I'm going to present this to the council."
Opal held up the diary, which in turn gave a sickening throb of light energy. A few lesser demons nearby gasped and scurried away.

Emilie blushed a little deeper and smiled up at Ivan, she was grateful she had pulled in her wings. She couldn't imagine how he had managed to carry her when they were out.

silverkittyempress 04-30-2009 11:15 AM

Hazel was also very lucky. Not only had she memorized the book, but she made a replica of it as well! She was liking how this turned out, and buy would Opal be mad when she found out it was fake with a few pixies stuck in it to seem powerful. "By then, I will already know the secret." she said, pulling out the original.

Palmoun 04-30-2009 07:16 PM

Tievel looked at Opal "I missed everything about this place and also how you can destroy anything and it just fixes itself." he said with a smerk "and I am going with you to the council, I have some dirt on the angels that might help us." he siad since he remembered everything that had happend during those years he was trapped inside ihs own body and that included the all the angel things.

Ivan smiled when he saw Hazel "we finally cought up to you." he siad with a smile

silverkittyempress 04-30-2009 07:29 PM

"Ahh!" she jumped. "Don't do that Wolfboy! You will be the end of me one day." she sighed, flicking her tail at his nose. "What do you want?"

Palmoun 04-30-2009 07:32 PM

"well you have the knowledge of the book so we are going to go with you to find her." Ivan siad as he looked at Hazel.

silverkittyempress 04-30-2009 07:44 PM

Hazel looked at Emilie whom he was still carrying. "Yeah, um, not to be rude, but can't she walk on her own without you? Anywho, who said your were coming?" she fixed them a glare. "Tievel and Opal will follow you, and then me. So no way."

flamingcatdemon 04-30-2009 10:10 PM

Emilie couldn't help herself, she smiled at how self assured Hazel was, and at how completely wrong she was. Emilie gently extricated herself from Ivan's arms and walked over to Hazel.
"I'm sorry to have to point this out, but that was wasted effort. Lady Corona was smarter than to make a diary that was defenseless and could be copied by any spying demon."
Emilie pulled the book from Hazel's hands and opened to a random page. The words written there were complete gibberish, the letters mixed beyond recognition. Even as they watched the letters continued to move around the page, mixing randomly.
"There's also a counter spell, should you try to reverse the randomization, the ink will crumble and fall off the page completely."
Emilie handed the book back to Hazel.
"It will be the same with any copy you made. The spell is actually within the written words. It matters not, I know the way to Corona from here. Opal was, after all, the demon who chained her in the first place."

Opal snorted and turned on her heel.
"Alright, I suppose you can tag along."
After a few steps, a reception desk materialized out of the darkness. Two winding marble staircases flanked it on either side. Opal slammed the diary on the desk, almost cracking the black marble. A small goblin-like creature with thin clawed fingers and a ling thin nose looked up at her out of beady black eyes. Opal motioned to the diary, herself, and Tievel.
"We want to see the council. It's a matter of some urgency."

Palmoun 05-01-2009 02:21 AM

Ivan looked at Emilie and wasn't sure if she was okay. Some telaportaion spells took a lot of energy. but she was right Corona would not make it so easy to copy her book. He looked at Emilie and asked "are you sure your strong enough, I mean I dont mind carrying you."

Tievel smiled as the small goblin-like creature.

flamingcatdemon 05-01-2009 03:35 AM

Emilie laughed.
"Oh course, silly, I'm fi--"
Emilie had tried to take a step and immediately lost her balance, almost face-planting into the dirt. She caught herself just in time and assumed a crouched defensive position with her arms outstretched.
"I'm good. Just a little depth perception issue."

The goblin-like creature reached out his spindly hand and lightly stroked the cover of the diary. His fingers hissed and smoked at the touch and he immediately retracted his hand with a yelp of pain.
"Yes... I see you have most definitely brought the real thing, oh magnificent silky one. The council will see you now."
The goblin sneered at Tievel before correcting himself.
"Pardon me, both of you."

Opal smacked the goblin across the face with the diary. Seconds after the impact, angry red blister bubbled up on his oily skin.
"WHAT DID I TELL YOU ABOUT THAT!?"
Opal hefted the diary menacingly, causing the goblin to cringe.
"I don't care if you last served a vain hell god, your pathetic flattery is disgusting."

The goblin shielded his face with his hands and whimpered.
"Yes, yes, of course, your right oh succul--"
Opal glared daggers.
"Opal."

Opal smiled.
"Good boy."
With a dramatic whisk of her black kimono, Opal disappeared up the winding stair.
"Coming Tievel?"

(We should wait until lady lily posts, it's her RP so she sound decide what the council is like and who leads it, if not Lucifer himself.)

silverkittyempress 05-01-2009 11:19 AM

((She's been busy lately, sometimes its hard for her to post. But I agree, just let me post one more time.))

flamingcatdemon 05-01-2009 05:29 PM

(how could you have copied the diary, without copying the words? that makes no sense. Also, for a magically protected item, the material it's made of makes no difference at all. Corona would most likely have just picked up a journal that caught her eye.)

silverkittyempress 05-01-2009 07:23 PM

((I didn't copy the diary, I had a book cover that looked like the original, and I added recipies. I added ...magical power..... and ...destroy...... but it wasn't a replica.))

flamingcatdemon 05-01-2009 07:44 PM

(Oooooh. I misread. Whoa, what the hell. You cant just suddenly change it like that. Opal picked up the diary FOUR PAGES BACK, you should have said something then, you've had plenty of time. Opal is an elite demon, the demon who was given the task of binding Corona. She would have noticed right away if the book was a fake. You should have said something before they went to the dark dimension, because I an NOT editing all my posts. Either edit your post or I'm ignoring it. Opal has the REAL diary.)
