MIDNIGHT FOREST

Far from any town or any city lies a dark expanse of bark, leaf, and who knows what else. This is Midnight forest. Inside a natural war for control between several species of beast has been rageing for centuries. The dragons, the Wolves, the Vampyres, and the Elves. They all want control of the eb and flow of food, water, and territory. Right now the war is at a standstill, hostility is in the air, but no blood has been shed for months. Is this a sign of peace? Or the Calm before the storm?

*Can Go Out in Sunlight, But not for Too Long
*Can Drink Blood Without Changing their Victim

--ELVES--

*Are Old, Dont look it, but they are. Teenagers are like 45
*Default Ability is Controling Plants
*Normally Not as Violent as the other Species

When I look into the clear lake I see: a young man with glowing blue eyes,black hair, scales, and a tail.
I tend to fight with my: Claws made by the strongest Spirit Dragon of them all, Alquix. The weapon is the set of claws forged by the strongest of spirit magic.
Anything I forgot?: I turn into a black and dark blue dragon with blue armor on my tail,head plus my back spikes.

Kaiser sighed staring up at the dark expanse of forest, it was calm too calm he decided. He calmly walked through the deep underbrush that hade once been stained with blood. What were the other creatures planning, if they were planning anything at all?"Something seems so wrong here I need to figure out what's going to happen next before it happens," He muttered to himself moving onward through the trees while secretly hoping to find a answers to one of his many questions.

Lindly sat perched high on the branched of one of the stronger trees, leeting moonlight and starlight bathe her face. It was so rare that she could sneak away from her parents. It had been peaceful for months, but her parents were still worried that someone could hurt her, kidnap her, or worst, kill her.

Lindly didn't really believe them. She could outrun all the boys in her village and could hold her own against them in archery.

Zeldolve was flying above the woods at night until he seen a small area in the woods he felt was a good spot to sleep. He was about to fall asleep until he heard something. It was a familiar voice that he knows all too well.

Lindly closed her eyes, letting one leg swing beneath her. How calming this was. Just her and the night.

But her eyes snapped open when she heard footsteps beneath her. She quickly dropped down several branches, both to see what was making the noise and to conceal herself in the darkness in the tree.

Elf, young, some where in the air he suddenly stopped in his tracks not moving exempt for occasionaly sniffing the air to pinpoint where the threat was. When he saw her in the tree tops he quickly moved back into the shadows of a giant tree wondering when she was gonna move. He currently noticed that nighttime had fallen a while agowhere the heck had all the daytime gone. In the end, Kaiser figured out that the elf wasn't moving for a while so he decided to tiptoe around the area the elf was this is just not my day.

Lindly silently moved down a little bit. She narrowed her eyes, trying to see into the gloom. She thought she could see a shadowy form dart into the shadow of the tree. She wass silent and motionless for several minutes.

Finally, the form started moving again, but kept to the shadows. It appeared to be...a human. Lindly was confused. Why would a human be out in the forest? At night? They didn't even had any special powers like magic or whatnot. Well, whatever its doing here Lindly thought, [/i]I'm going to find out.[/i] Silently, she followed the figure's progress by crawling from tree to tree.

Damn, the elf is following me Kaiser suddenly stopped taking out his sword "Come out elf!" He roared. He quickly moved into a defensive postion never taking his eyes off the green treetops where most elves usually fought in. His body was tense ready for any attack.

OCC: darn can't think of anything

Lindly smirked. This guy was good, but she thought he seemed kinda stupid. Really, why shout at your opponent? It only gives your position away.

Quickly and quietly she pulled three arrows from her quiver. She put them to her bow and checked her aim, glad her mother had made her oil the strings and the wood because they made no noise as she pulled her arm back.

She let them fly, noting that their course was true. She smiled. She had always been one of the bests shots in her village.

Kaiser moved his sword to block the arrows, though one managed to graze his torso, damn it! He needed to morph or this was going to be one hell of a battle, the elf was using long ranged weapons and he couldn't run fast enough before another barage of arrows could come. Kaiser moved himself into the fetal position to lessen the amount of space the girl can hit and with a flash of white light he began to morph into his real form.

Lindly had been about to let loose another hail of arrows upon the humans when all of a sudden bright light seared her vision. She let out a small cry and threw her arm across her eyes to protect her eyes.

What the hell is going on? she thought. Humans don't have magic or any sort of powers!

I'm back! Kaiser flew up to face the elf "Elf, I think this battle shall end now less you would want to feel my wrath," he muttered those words they were filled with disgust for himself. He would love to keep fighting but he didn't need the war to begin again over a teeny skirmish.

The rush of adrenaline from the attack was getting to his head so while waiting for the answer from the elf, he flew in circles like a dog trying to catch his tail.

Cristyne sighed softly as she skimmed over the tops the of the trees. This was her home, her place, and she enjoyed flying, war or no war. With every beat of her wings, her milky white scales glimmered. Cristyne was no beast of war, but if needed, she could certianlly kill or maim her share. Tucking her wings to her body, till they were no more than small lines running along a serpentine body, she dove into the trees.

Cristyne glided, flattening her body as much as possible to slow her decent before she burst through the underbrush over a large lake. Her wings exploded from their closed postition, stopping her immedietly in mid-air, inches above the water. Beating her wings, she rose up, through the hole in the trees and began to fly up through the clouds, until she could see most of the forest below her. The trees expanded in all directions, until they faded out of veiw.

She let out a small puff of fire, and lowered herself till she was parrell with a large branch. Curling into a little ball, she let herself fall. With a flash of light, the large dragon was replaced with a young girl with jet black, waist length hair. She ran, jumping from branch to branch, towards the flash of light that had struck her vision moments before....

Zeldolve silently stays perched above the battle waiting for one to morph. If they did not morph then he would jump down in human form to stop the battle. Zeldolve planned on not hurting anyone so he would take there spirits out for a while and put them back into the body when they were at a better place then the woods.

What the heck, we have another player in this game as his nose scented another dragon, which was distinctly female. Did the entire world of the forest come to see this battle? Then again maybe I'm just thinking too much. He moved back a bit to get a better sight of the surrounding area just to make sure this new dragon wasn't hostile and he wouldn’t have to face two opponents at once.

Lindly cursed under her breath. Stupid stupid stupid! Why didn't she sense that he was a dragon? If she hadn't been so overconfident in thinking that she was taking on a mere human, she would have felt the dragon aura radiating from the figure.

Lindly fought to squash her rising panic. She certainly didn't want to take on a dragon but her honor wouldn't permit her to surrender. Gods above, if I make it out of this alive I promise I will never ever sneak out like this again! she prayed. Lindly knew that if she could climb low enough, there would be a small hole dropping into the hollow interior of the tree trunk. She knew she had enough magic left to render her form invisible while she dropped down into relative safety.

Suddenly, the dragon moved back, as if distracted. Not pausing to question her good fortune, Lindly instantly pulled up a magical shield around her so the dragon would not spot her. Quickly she climbed down until her feet found the small hole she was looking for. As silent as an owl, she dropped down into the hollow trunk, safe for the time being. Only the elves and some of the woodland sprites knew about this place, and it had certainly come in handy since there was no entrance in the side of the trunk itself.
