Patience blushed. "I'm not that pretty." she shook her head. "Plus not to mention... What guy wants to date a woman that can kick ass more so than he does or about as much as he does?" She looked at him.

She broke off a small piece of the doughnut. White powder going on her cheek when she wiped her face.

Luis met her eyes and smiled. "I would. And I will have my first date with her tomorrow night." He took another bite of his doughnut and then added. "And I will hope it won't be the last one."

He then got up and walked to the counter. "Can I get a cup of coffee?" he asked Raoul and then pulled out some bills to pay. He laid them on the counter and took his coffee back to the table. "Yummy" he said with a smile after taking a sip.

Patience was getting ready. It was Friday night. She was off and was getting ready to go out with Luis.

She wore a black halter top that bared her shoulders and tied behind her neck and a pair of tight pants. A small tattoo on her back of angel wings across her shoulder blades. Her hair pulled up off her neck and tied in a messy bun but still made her look like a woman instead of a girl. Her make up was a smoky eye with a pale lipstick. Proper but still seductive. She bit her lip and thought for a moment if she should change it.

Looking up at the clock she sighed and went to meet Luis at the station.

A few of the other guys making cat calls and what not.

"You men are pigs." She sighed and went over to Luis's desk and smiled.

Luis looked up as Patience appeared at his desk. "Wow...You look fabulous. I was going to head home to change. Do you mind that?" he asked her. He had not planned to wear his uniform to dinner or to the club. Luis started to put his papers away and stood to get ready to go, finding the keys to his personal car.

"Thought I would surprise you a bit early." She grinned. "It's not to much is it?" She bit her lip. "I don't look like a hoe do I?"

She looked up at him then.

"Hey Patience... You look hot!" Said one of the other males in the precinct.

Patience let out a growl. "Hang on.. I'll be right back... Hold that thought." She went after the guy and slammed him against the wall. "You are a pig my dear officer." She smirked. "No woman wants to be told she's hot... Next time you want to impress a woman... Tell her gorgeous." With that she walked back over to Luis.

"Sorry about that."

"Maybe you should throw me against the wall too..." Luis said to her, smiling. He loved women that could take care of themselves. "After all...I did say you looked 'fabulous' not 'gorgeous'. He laughed and then guided her out of the station.

"You look great, nothing like a hoe. Now, will you ride with me to my place so I can get ready?" he said, laughing a little. Luis stopped in front of a 2009, blood red, Ford Mustang and looked at her, waiting for her answer.

She blushed about the slamming against the wall. Not that she wouldn't mind it. 'WHOA WHOA WHOA!!!! Patience... Chill.... take it easy.' she said to herself.

"You drive this?" She looked at him. "I'm jealous." She laughed a bit. "But yea that's fine. I can wait at your place."

Patience grinned and looked at him. She got in the car and fixed her hair a bit in the mirror before flipping the visor back up. "Sorry... habit." She grinned.

"I decided to drive this one for our date. Kinda wasn't expecting you to show up at the station though..." Luis said as he got into the driver side of the car.

He watched her fix her hair and smiled. "Its fine...You look fine though, so you shouldn't fuss over it." Luis backed out of the lot and started on his way home. The ride was quiet but he kept stealing glances at Patience.

They pulled up to his house, he parked the car and cut it off. Getting out quickly, he shut his door and rushed over to help Patience out. "Here we are, my lady." he said sweetly. Luis held her hand and walked her to his door. He unlocked it and pushed it open, then gestured her in. "Make yourself at home while I do a quick shower and change," he said just before he disappeared into the back hallway.

Patience smiled and looked around. "This is nice." She smiled and sat on the couch with her legs crossed. Her picked up a magazine and started to read it. She found an article she ended up becoming fascinated with and ended up reading it completely.

It was about a new book coming out. An angel falling for a demon. "That wouldn't happen.... Would it?" She asked herself aloud and continued to read the article. There was an excerpt from the book that she was reading. Biting her lip from habit as she read.

For some reason she could picture her and Luis as the two characters but shook her head to clear the thought from her mind. "Nah.... That can't be...." She put the magazine down and sighed before getting a drink of water out of the facet.

"You know...there is bottled water in the fridge," Luis said as he entered the kitchen behind her. He was now wearing black slacks and a dark blue button down shirt, a black tank peeking through the top of his shirt. He wore the sleeves folded to his elbows, revealing the demon wing tattoos on his forearm above his hands.

"How do you like my place?" he said, gesturing around himself. "Care for a tour or would you like to just go to dinner?"

Patience looked at him. "Very nice tattoos." She smiled and bit her lip. "A tour sounds good actually." She grinned. Her eyes met his.

"Do you have any more tattoos that I don't know about?" She teased and poked him in the stomach gently. "Sorry... I love a man with tattoos."

Patience blushed slightly looking at the floor.

"You love me already?" Luis said, jokingly, as he guided her out of the kitchen. "By the way, that was the kitchen." He laughed. The kitchen lead into the living room.

"Here we have the living room for get togethers and whatnot." The living room had a fireplace on one wall with the couch facing it with the love seat to the couch's right. There was a bookshelf with a nice stereo system on the middle shelf, books and CDs on surrounding shelves. The furniture was a dark shade of red with thin strips of gold.

Luis pointed to the room next to the kitchen but didn't want to walk her into it, he rather liked the living room the most. "That is the rarely used dining room and off that room is the den, where I watch the television about once a month." he said laughing. "Would you like to see more? The rest is a bathroom and two bedrooms."

Patience looked. "Why do you have two bedrooms?" She bit her lip once again out of habit. "But we can head out if you want to."

She laughed about the him saying how she fell in love with him. "What if I did?" She teased back.

Her heels clicked as she walked down the stairs. "So where are we going for dinner Luis?" She smiled as she looked back up at him.

Luis smiled at her. "I have two bedrooms in case of guests that I never have," he said with a laugh.

"I would add you to my list," Luis joked. "I'm just kidding. I don't really have a list. Not enough gals can stand me."

He took her arm into his, like a gentleman would, and guided her out to his Mustang, which seemed to have changed color. It was now a midnight blue to match the evening sky. Luis walked her to the passenger side door and held it open for her. "Here you are, my lady," he said with a smile.

Closing the door after she sat, he walked over to the driver's side and climbed in. "Its a surprise." Luis said about dinner and drove off.

Patience grinned and looked at him once he got in the car. "Keep a lady in suspense..." She smiled and kissed his cheek. "But I do thank you for taking me out tonight."

She put her seatbelt on and was half tempted to look in the mirror to make sure everything was perfect but she didn't. Thinking better of it... She ,for one, didn't want to seem vain. And two... She didn't want to come across as anything other than a lady.

He was attractive and the fact he had tattoos made him more so... At least to her. That might be bad... Maybe he is bad for me. She thought and quickly shook the thought from her mind.

"I shall," Luis said. He pulled to a stop at a red light, leaned over and took her head in his hands. He planted a kiss right on her lips and lingered there for a moment. Once he pulled away, he blushed a little and began to drive again. "Sorry...Your lips just looked irresistible."

"Oh, I forgot to thank you about my tattoos. I have an idea for another one, just haven't gotten around to looking into it." he said, then added, "How about you? Any tattoos I should be warned about?" After saying that, he pulled into the parking lot of a lovely Italian restaurant. "Hope you like Italian."

Patience blushed a deep scarlet red. 'Wow!' she said in her mind. "Th-Thank you Luis." She stammered.

Looking out the window she put her hand to her mouth. "I love Italian... But this place is I heard expensive...." She looked at him biting her lip.

She got out of the car knowing she wouldn't change his mind even if she tried. "You truly are a charmer Luis Samson..." She smiled and took his hand before walking in with him.

"You don't have to thank me, doll. 'Twas my pleasure to kiss those lips." Luis said with a smile. "Don't worry about money. It is my treat and you can have anything from the menu. I've been saving up for just this sort of occasion," he joked.

He looked down as she took his hand. He brought it up to his lips and kissed it gently. "Shall we?" Luis walked with her into the restaurant.

The maître d' looked at them, "Do you have a reservation?"

Luis smiled, looked at Patience and then back to the maître d'. "Of course. Its under 'Samson' I believe."

"Very good sir, follow me." The man walked them to one of the best tables for two in the restaurant. It was by a window with a view to an outdoor garden. "Your server will be with you in a moment." he said as he placed the menus open before the couple.

Patience shook her head and laughed a bit. "If this is how you treat your women.. I envy the girl you marry." She teased and looked at him before looking at the gardens. "Oh wow... They have moon flower." She bit her lip.

"I've always wanted to see one." She looked at him. "Sorry... Little fascination I've had since I was a child. It's so beautiful." She said looking at the gardens.

Once the waiter got there she ordered a glass of red wine. She looked over at Luis and smiled. "And why did you kiss me earlier?" She asked out of curiosity.

"I'll have the same," Luis said to the server then looked to Patience. "You apologize too much," he joked, taking her hand.

With his other hand, he rested his chin on it, looking as if he were thinking hard. "Why wouldn't I want to kiss you, doll?" Luis looked at her and smiled. "So, what would you like for dinner?" he said looking down at the menu, still holding her hand.

Patience bit her lip and thought for a moment. "Hmmmm..... Shrimp or Chicken alfredo... Hmmm..... So hard to choose."

Patience looked at him. "What are you getting?" She blushed slightly. This was by all technicality her first date... EVER.....

Angels just didn't do this sort of thing.... But he didn't seem to be that bad... Rough around the edges yes... but... She liked it.

Luis eyed the menu and decided on something seafood. "I think I'm going to have seafood stuffed ravioli with a Caesar salad." he said, just as the server returned with their wine.

"Thank you." he said then held his glass up to toast. "To a wonderful evening..."

Patience smiled. "A wonderful evening." she grinned and took a sip. "And again thank for this lovely evening Luis..." She blushed slightly. "Honestly though... i have a confession... This is my first date..."

She held his hand still and bit her lip looking at the menu once again. "I think I am going to get the shrimp alfredo though." She let her lip take more abuse from her teeth.

"I'm glad to be your first," Luis said then looked to the server that was still there and told him their orders. As the man walked away, he turned to watch her. "Abuse your lip now, so I can kiss it better later," he whispered at her and lightly squeezed her hand.

She looked at him with a deep scarlet blush. "Luis.." she bit her lip again out of nervous habit. "You need to stop that." She grinned.

"You're making me blush...." She shook her head to get the blush to go away. "Bad you." She teased.

Patience looked out the window at the Moon flower and then back to Luis. "Sorry I get easily distracted by small things."
