Nex felt her hand upon his cheek, he didn't want to leave her arms at this point, his heart had grown dependent on her support. "Yes.... I know..... but still... IAP regulations state that all underdeveloped planets must either be forced into general, advanced population or demolished with the ion cannon... planets that do not agree with this are quickly dispatched.... They basically force people to leave everything they now and they have the beliefs and ideals of the IAP shoved down their throat...." He leaned a bit against her, keeping his eyes closed and taking in her warmth.

Cara gently rubbed his back, keeping their embrace close. She knew this was to comfort Nex, but she was enjoying it.. she liked the warmth and the closeness. Her expression fell a bit, realizing what that would mean for her planet. She pushed that to the back of her mind.. she had nothing left here... just Nex. Cara gently leaned her head against his shoulder, pulling herself a bit closer to him.

Nex decided that now was the time to go, despite the fact that he was enjoying this closeness, he knew that it couldn't last. "Thank you." he paused, tightening the hug before pulling away and walking in the direction of where his guns went, stopping on the edge of town, "Tell me..... who is next?" he questioned, turning back around to her.

Cara pulled out the list, quickly skimming over it. "Looks like there's two parts in the next town.. It's a bit of a walk.." She thought for a moment. She didn't travel too much unless the village she was staying in was in a raid or she decided to explore other places.. Cara had been to the next town too, but only a couple times. She didn't know the streets very well. She frowned, remembering what that particular town was like. Very poor.. they might have an inn if they're really lucky.. And it was probably crawling with space pirates.. She sighed.

Nex guessed by her reaction that the next town was none too enjoyable, he went back to her and put an arm around her, letting her know that she was here. "Good.... In that long walk we can spend time together..." he attempted to lighten the mood, her comfort putting him in a better mood from before. He wondered if he should call for the ship... Wondering how long of a walk it could be, chances are it will be dark by the time they reach the town... So they would need a place to stay. Nex's mind wandered over all the possibilities...

Heavy footsteps echoed out through the forest in a town that was very far away from their current position, it was the large, bionic man again. He jumped upward through the trees and used his massive, metal arms to swing his way forth, he was impatient and had pleanty of energy to expend. He saw the town that was his target in the distance, "There it is!" he looked toward a specific house and spoke out loud to himself. "That is the one I am looking for!" He slammed his heavy body in the center of the town with a massive swing over the front gate, it was one of the richer town, and as he hit the ground people screamed and ran away as fast as they could, he smiled as though he was pleasured by their screams and shouts of fear, walking in the direction toward a small house in front of him, his target. The man wasted no time, heaving his heavy foot door-ward and crashing it against the wood, his eyes went to the central room, his jaw dropped. An old woman shook lightly and lifted her head slowly to the large man that could barely fit through the front door, she smiled. "Samuel!" The bionic man widened his eyes in confusion, "What! I am..." the old woman cut him off, "Its been ages! How have you been!? You have to come in for tea!" The bionic man was frustrated, "I don't want..." again he paused, the old woman taking his metal arm, "You are so cold... Well, you have always been foolhearty, perhaps some warm soup will warm you up..." The bionic man felt himself tugged into her house, for if he fought back, he would most likely tear the old woman in half, something he did not want to do.

The tea was amazing.

Cara gave Nex a small smile, his comment brightening her mood. She noticed his mood had also seemed to improve in the past few minutes, and her smile widened a bit, happy that he felt a bit better. As they started walking, Cara started thinking. "Um... The town we're going to... it's pretty small. Poor too... It might not have an inn... We could look, but I'm not sure." They could always camp outside... but with the space pirate population in that town.. she doubted that would work out. She didn't even know if a room in an inn would be safe.. She let out a small sigh, not planning on getting any sleep later that night.

The mayor had been well out of town by then, when he realized he had taken a smaller ship. One that would eventually run out of fuel and supplies.. He frowned for a moment, wondering if the man had found out about the list. If he had, then he would more than likely be angry. But if he hadn't... The man turned his ship around, meaning to go back to his house to stock up in a larger ship.

Nex frowned, he looked downward for a moment then thought about what they could do, "Well.... we could sleep in the fighter, but its a rather tight squeeze.... And still we would have to deal with the fear of space pirates.... I suggest we call for the ship now... And we have no choice but to get there quickly and get out just as quickly, I can call the fighter here easily with the homing beacon.... How does that sound?" He didn't like the idea of them getting their quickly and getting out quickly.... It would ruin his plans for a walk.

Finally, after about an hour of waiting he was able to get out, he was wearing a stretched out sweater with a kitten knit into the front of him. "Be sure to come back tomorrow Samuel! I have some cookies that we need to bake together for that fiance you were talking about." the man did not speak, the door closing behind him

"AGGHHHHH!!!!!" He ripped the sweater from his chest and tossed it against the wall, "Damn it! I am wasting valuable time! I'll tear that man in half! I don't need help finding Nexion! I'll do it myself!" he began to run at a quick rate back to the original town, panting from fatigue all along the way, he was not going to stop, not after that.

Cara returned his frown with another child-like pout. She didn't fancy the thought of ruining their walk.. their time together. However, she didn't really fancy the thought of a sleepless night either, and seeing as she didn't have a better plan... "That sounds okay I suppose.." she replied quietly, in defeat. She noted how he had said the fighter would be a tight squeeze.. Not that she minded, but her mind wondered off at the thought. Unwillingly, a blush crept onto her face, as her mind raced with unvoluntary thoughts about how close that space might just be..

Nex knew that she was not happy with this, he gave her a gentle hug, "I promise I'll make it up to you, alright." he gave her a kiss shortly afterword, it only lasted for a second but it stated a point that he was thinking of her in this. He walked off in a blank area of ground away from the forest. He pressed a button on his arm, shortly after a small beep escaped it, he waited for about five minutes before the familiar, blue giant flew in their sight in the distance, it landed a few feet in front of him. He turned back toward her, seeing her face, "Why are you blushing?" he asked, forgetting the earlier comment he had made about the tight squeeze.

The steel giant reached the town in a record 10 minutes, seeing the giant mayor's house shortly after, he would have to come back! The ship was tiny and it would need fueled soon, and this place was too primitive to support a fuel station. He waited at the front door of his house, luckily the streets were remotely empty so he could remain covert for now, he waited for a sound..... hopefully the sound of his talking.... Then he would bust in, and tear him in half.

cara gave him a small smile, returning the kiss. "Okay.." she replied softly, again. Her blush didn't waver or fade for a second, as she fought to keep those thoughts from her head. She knew it would mean nothing, just extreme closeness.. her mind just had wonder at the thought.. Her blush darkened as she snapped back to reality, hearing Nex's question. She glanced at the familiar piece of blue metal for a moment, then turned her gaze elsewhere. "Uhh.. nothing.." Cara covered one of her cheeks, a bit embarrassed by their pink color.

The mayor got home quickly, landing in his garage, then running about to gather supplies. The maid was hiding in a corner, seemingly frightened. When he noticed her, he raised an eyebrow, expecting an explanation. "T-that man's here." she managed, stuttering. "Oh shit." He had found out about the list then... in a rush now, he gathered supplies, whether he would need them or not.

Nex rose an eyebrow, getting no answer, but knowing something was up, he decided to let it rest, turning around and looking toward the ship as it landed softly on the ground, he jumped into the front seat as the glass folded backwards, turning toward Cara he smiled and patted the seat behind him, waiting for her to get into the ship with him.

It didn't take long before the metal giant heard footsteps and voices, the mayor knew he was here. Shit

He wasted no time, kicking open the door, the wood crashing to the ground and splitting in two. He eyed the mayor for a moment as he ran through his own house to the garage, "You aren't getting away this time! I'll skin you alive!" he fired shots in the direction of the mayor, focused at the legs as he chased him down. It was evident that he wanted him dead.... If he captured him... He would simply turn him into the IAP, he will do fine in the intergalactic jail.

Cara's thoughts subsided, watching Nex's ship land. She smiled, hopping into the seat behind him. Their flight the other day had been rather short-lived, and even if they weren't going anywhere, she was rather excited being inside of the.. What was the word he used? Oh, right, fighter. Cara smiled brightly, looking at Nex.

Fuck.. The mayor, fortunately, dodged the shots the angry man had fired, running into his garage, locking the metal door behind him. That won't hold him long.. He sighed in frustration, grabbing a plasma blade from a nearby counter. It might not do much, but he would rather try to fight than die running away.

Nex placed his mechanical hand upon the screen of the computer, the front piece of the cockpit glowed shortly after and the ship only took about 2 minutes to lift into the air. He smiled, removing his hand and setting it to autopilot, he relaxed leaning back against the chair with his hands behind his hair. Cara would notice a button on the back of Nex's chair that said, 'collapse front seat'.

"You won't last long! Stop delaying the inevitable!" He looked as the steel door. He pounded on it, and after about 3 seconds of constant punching, the door was bent out of proportion, the final punch sending it reeling into the air and flying over the mayor's head, hitting the opposite wall with a heavy thud.

The giant took his time now, there was no hope for the man. He eagerly smiled and clicked his teeth together as the gun of his arm turned back into a fist. "You think a plasma sword being held by a coward such as yourself will stop me? You should have given into my demands earlier... You could have gotten off easy... Now you've pissed me off, and I promise you that it will be the biggest mistake of your life." he clenched his fist shortly after, "You have become useless, and your life... Meaningless. You are about to spend the rest of your life living in a small containment cell..." The giant's hand went head-ward, wanting to palm him in the face. With the strength of his enhancements, the palm would feel like a hammer, and if it connected the mayor would most likely be unconscious.

Cara watched Nex, placing his hand on the screen. Catching a glance of the button on his chair, her curiosity took hold. She couldn't read very well... she wsn't illiterate, there was just not much a need for it on her planet anymore. She could handle smaller words... but seeing the word 'collapse', she became confused. Coll... asp? No... "Hmm.." Her curiosity took the best of her, and she found her finger pushing the button on the back of Nex's chair.

The mayor hadn't had much time to think as the giant man came through the metal door. His hand went slack, the plasma blade falling to the ground, and the man prepared to run, despite his earlier thoughts. He stood helpless as the giant's palm made contact with his head. He heard the sound of his hand hitting his skull, and his eyes fluttered close as he blacked out.

Nex continued to relax against the chair, his eyes were closed... Drifting off for the moment. But that rest was interrupted as he felt a sudden fall onto the second sleep, he slipped back until he felt his head make contact with her upper body. He looked up, finding that the button press was the best mistake of the day, although now that closeness would come into play. He said nothing, his smile said enough as he relaxed up against her.

"The deed is done..." he watched as the limp body of the mayor fall to the ground. He held his massive arm up to his mouth, "Pyrus to Command, this is Pyrus, target is in my possession." There was a response quickly after, "Command to Pyrus, sending a team down now." It wasn't long after that when a small drop ship came to the outside of the garage. Pyrus, as he referred to himself, walked over to the garage door and tore a hole open in the garage, he didn't feel like using the door. Three men in metal suits came through the open hole, walking over to the mayor and cuffing him, dragging him off into the drop ship to never be seen again on this planet, soon after Pyrus heard a beep escape his mechanical arm. "Fund recieved." The arm spoke to him, he smiled, "There is another pig down! Now onto the biggest fish in the sea! I will get you Nexion.... I swear it.... My hunt will not be in vain...."

Cara was surprised by what the seat did, but had no problem with the closeness it caused. "Sorry." she whispered, for disturbing Nex. She then realized that Nex's head was now resting on her upper body, and a blush rose to her cheeks again. Trying to relax, she closed her eyes, leaning her head back against her seat.

(hehe.. well, after the mayor gave your character the wrong list, i was expecting this XD i have nothing against it)

Nex smiled and shook his head, "No reason to be sorry...." he said, messing around with his arm for a moment, the ship grew quiet, he wouldn't say that he decreased the power of the thrusters to prolong the trip, his way of making it up. He turned around toward her, adjusting himself until he crawled up to her level and his head was now level just below hers. He tilted his head up and kissed her on the chin, his arms going around her stomach as he rested his head gently below her neck.

Pyrus growled and looked only for a few more moments toward the ship as it flew off in the distance, the mayor was no more, he clicked his teeth together shortly after, looking to one of the soldiers that stayed behind, the IAP has arrived. "You! Command the soldiers to tear the planet apart to find Nex! We cannot demolish this underdeveloped hole until we get our hands on that wanted." The soldier nodded, sending the message to command, however far it was away. He ran away, allowing Pyrus to think alone. Pyrus had a great anger in his eyes, dark desires and plans forumlating through his thoughts.

Cara returned Nex's smile, then wondered what he was doing with his arm. As he turned to her, she gently wrapped her arms around him, resting them on his back. She lay a gentle kiss on his forehead, then gently leaned her head against his. Cara's hands gently rubbed his back, his shoulders.. massaging his muscles.

Nex relaxed against her, his head basically resting on her bosom the way they were laying. He continued to plant gentle kisses upon her chin every once and a while, keeping up the romance. He relaxed even more against her as he felt her hands running across his back, causing him to smile back up to her. His hands went to her bare lower back, running up from that area to her shoulders and down to her lower back. Giving her the same relaxation that she was giving him.

Cara relaxed a little, the way his head was laying on her was a bit... different for her. Not uncomfortable, but it surely kept her from fully relaxing. She smiled at his touch, continuing to rub his back. One of her hands drifted away from his back, and one of her fingers gently lifted his chin up a little. She leaned down a little to plant a gentle and loving kiss on his lips, her other hand leaving his back to be placed on one of his shoulders.

Nexion felt his chin be lifted up by her fingers, he was in a completely relaxed state, gently returning the kiss, his eyes closed as he did so. He smiled, continuing the kiss shortly after with his own gentle kiss, wanting to taste her a bit, in which he did after he continued kissing her. He pulled away from the kiss, but kept his face close to hers as he looked into her eyes. "I love you Cara...." The words rolled lovingly off of his tongue and into her ear. He added something after a short pause, "More than I ever thought I could love someone," he felt his heart fluttering shortly after, he was true in his words, however he did not know how exactly she would take it.... How quickly he fell for her.

Cara's eyes fluttered closed during the kiss, gladly returning the one that he started afterwards. Her eyes locked onto his, her heart feeling as if it might burst from the way her heart beat increased as he said those words. Those beautiful words... Cara smiled, and she was happily surprised to hear what he added to that later, a slight blush rising to her cheeks. Her response was a whisper, but she made sure it was loud enough for him to hear. "I love you too, Nex." She was surprised at how quickly she'd fallen for him... and was even more surprised how he had also fallen for her.. Especially in that short time.

Nex loved the way she whispered it into his ear, it made his own heart jump a bit more, the way it sounded so softly from her mouth. He could never love another woman like this after how much time he had spent with her, it would hurt to see her go to say the least for him. Nex knew that with his slow down of the flight they had some time to spend together, but he knew within the next ten minutes that they would be rudely interupted by a landing. He acted upon being romantic while he could, crawling himself upward until he could reach every inch of her face, he hovered over her and placed a kiss on her nose, nuzzling his own nose against hers shortly afterwords. He then kissed her lips once more, looking to the left, and seeing the treeline get slowly closer. Awww.... Damn

Cara kept her eyes on his, seeing him look out the glass. She also glanced outside, seeing them getting closer to the end of the flight. She pouted a little, then gently kissed him again, trailing kisses up his face, on his nose, forehead.. Cara then pulled back a little, looking out the window. "I suppose we're gonna be landing soon again.." Remembering what they had to do, reality came back to her. She thought about what Nex had said the other day... someone was after him, he was wanted. Cara bit her lip at the thought. She loved him, and couldn't afford to lose him. She'd do anything in her power to help Nex escape that man that was chasing him..

Nex smiled and laughed softly as she kissed along his face, enjoying it greatly and feeling it tickle her nose as she kissed it. He smiled, still in a good mood, but saw her pout, the ship jerked a bit as the two landed, the glass slowly opened up as the two were in the forest again, the town was in sight from where the two were laying. "We are here...." he said in almost a disappointed manner. He looked back up to her, playfully giving her a tight hug and whining like a little child, "But I don't wanna goooo...." he trailed off on his 'o'. But sighed shortly after and laughed a bit, "... C'mon.... As bad as it sounds we are going to have to get up and take care of this.... The sooner we get this over with the sooner we will have more alone time..." He saw her biting her lower lip, something was bothering her, he kissed her and forced her to stop biting her lip with his own lips, "Something on your mind?"
