Sylus found a quiet room to stay alone in, slamming the door behind him and taking a seat in the middle of the room. He crossed his legs and looked to the ground, his arms at his legs. Finally, he spoke out loud the thoughts that came to his head as he thought of the one he had fallen for. "I am not good enough for her," He paused, keeping the rest on the inside. So I will save myself the trouble of pain... And her the trouble of pain of this continued world.... I shall go meet Genesis myself... But I must wait for them to leave the docking bay so I can steal a cheap pod... Then all of our problems will be solved. Sylus was in a deep depression at these thoughts, as much as he did not want to leave Vienna, in his mind it is the only way that he could do things.

Nex rose an eyebrow, "Wait... Are you well aware that I cannot cross over to the other side. Too much of me is synthetic, I gave up that ability as soon as my limbs were replaced by high quality metals..." Yu looked at the blind woman yet again, "Hmmm.... That is a problem, if you plan to take Nex you better find a way to make it so synthetic items will be accepted on the other side..."

Vienna found herself pacing in a hallway, not sure what to do. Approach him? Leave him be? Go to just get it all over with? Her life, it was. Her thoughts were rather depressing at this point as well, but as she heard the door slam, she ran to it, knowing who the only angry one near her would be. Sylus. She stopped at the door, her steps now quiet as she approached, her ear gently pressing against the door in an attempt to hear him. Much to her dismay, she heard his thoughts as he spoke them aloud. All of her earlier thoughts went flying out the window at this, forgetting his anger as she opened the door, and walked into the room, her eyes quickly finding him. "How can you be so selfish!" She wasn't quite yelling, but her voice was rather harsh. There was pain now showing on her face, pain, anger, and it was clear that she was confused as well.

The woman was surprised by this, she had thought the only other coming with her would be Yu, an organic being, but found herself laughing softly at this. "There is a theory. My type of travel is different from others, and I have a feeling it may temporarily.. reverse your synthetic parts.. but before we discuss this further, exactly how many people are we traveling with? It seems I ad been under the impression that just myself and one other were going.. But if teh young man and Cara wish to go, I have no opposal to this."

Sylus half lifed his head up and listened to her words. His heart was now thrown aside, and all he had was logic. He spoke without emotion, but his face could not hide a great deal of pain which was obvious between the two. "Selfish...?" He paused for a moment, "I don't want to see you die just because I am unwilling to... I do not want it to happen again... I don't want to see any more suffering because of this creature... The only thing this Ray can do is disable the Omnigate... And even if that happens... He will simply send whatever power he currently has after you..." He lifted his head entirely, eyes locking with hers. "Think before you speak...." He pulled himself up and walked to the door, attempting to walk around her, "For you must live my situation before you can understand this. I can assure you.... Nobody can understand this... I would not want them to... I am sorry for everything I have done... Now if you excuse me.... I must take care of some unfinished business..." There would be no more waiting for Sylus, because of this interruption he would do this now.

Nex was confused, "Oh... I thought that you were talking about us... When you said them..." Nex laughed, "I'm sorry.... Continue on without me." He said, backing away and allowing the two to continue. Yu smiled, "I see... I don't know if he will be so willing to leave his current life... He is kind of taking care of a star colony, but we shall try what we can. Take us there as soon as you can... What is your name by the way? I do not believe you have told me."

Vienna felt as if a layer of her skin had just been ripped off rather harshly. "Yes, Sylus... selfish. You are indeed selfish despite how much you intend to do for others. Selfish for not being patient enough to wait until the end of the week.. Selfish for wanting to go and do this on your own.. I said this already, and you know it well, but perhaps you never heard me. I love you, and you are being entirely selfish for not letting me at least attempt to protect you as you have for me.. though I may not do much.. We went to get that woman for a reason, please wait.. That is all I ask. I don't understand you... not at all, and I will probably never understand this twisted logic you are using.. I guarantee you that if you go after Genesis, I can fly my way to him faster than you could with some stolen ship.." She took a step back, closing the door and standing in front of it, trying to cover it to the best of her abilities. "Please."

"Bellatrix." she answered simply to his last question, but was quite confused at the one before it. 'Take us there as soon as you can?' Still rather confused, she decided to clear something up. "Do not mistake what I said, the young man over there will return quite the same, metal and all. If he wishes not to go now, that of course is fine.." she then paused, a bit confused still. "'Take us there as soon as I can'?" She wasn't sure what he had meant by that either. Bellatrix had intended to depart immediately to the other side.. but he was still using that 'us' after making a point that the young mann may not want to be all-natural temporarily while they reach the other man.

Sylus kept a darkness in his voice, his heart breaking right at the spot. "I love you too.... That is why I want to end this before it begins... I don't want to see him become eager to kill you and come early.... He did that before. Plus.... People upon that planet are dying every day because of him, he has taken the form of the commander.... That is where I first saw him when we were face to face... And with the IAP sucking all of the resources out of that planet.... The death of Genesis must happen soon..." Sylus looked downward, he couldn't look her in the eyes. Tears began flowing from his eyes, "I don't want you to die.... I want you to live.... I am willing to die for that purpose.... You have so much to live for.... and I have been here for over 200 years and I am still on the same purpose... I.... I can't bare the thought of you dying before your time...." He paused, still crying, tears flowing down his face, "This is.... Why I want to go sooner... I don't think this woman will be in time."

Nex shook his head, "No.. I do not want to go... I've been to the spirit world several times... I no longer have a stable Chakra, the pressure could cause me to explode," he smiled a bit, "I have done some research on synthetic people attempting to cross to the other side and coming back as a pile of organs." Yu realized he was quite confusing, "I want to get in contact with Ray as soon as possible... Getting there soon just means I want to get to the spirit stream soon... So... Whenever we want to contact him.... I am ready to escort you."

Vienna's eyes widened as he stopped, and started to cry. Her heart broke seeing this, backing down her guard a bit and approaching him. "Sylus?" she asked softly, leaning up a little to gently a kiss a few of his tears as they came. "The woman, Bellatrix, she is more time efficient than you think... please... we have days.. If we are.. split apart somehow, I at least want to use up all of our time together. Please.. I've already welcomed the threat of Genesis with open arms.. I've met him before.. and I'll tell you now that I'm far more afraid of losing you than facing him."

Bellatrix only stayed quiet for a moment as her confusion was cleared. "Ahh... alright." She then nodded once at Yu. "Well.. we can leave immediately if it is time efficient for you?" she asked, rather open to when they leave. As she had said, she had been planning on immediate departure, so waiting to discuss this wasn't planned in her mind.

Sylus looked downward as he continued to cry, his head resting on her shoulder. He felt terrible for this, "I'm so sorry...." he tightly wrapped his arms around her and did something that was entirely out of character. He fell apart in her arms, tears running down his face yet again, he leaned into her and due to his light weight was easily able to lean into her without putting much effort on her, she had already lifted him up before.

"I would rather get this done sooner than later," Yu admitted, "So shall we go now?" he asked, unsure of how she is able to do this. There were times that Yu wished that he was among the gifted, but there were never times he had hated himself for not being among them. He was happy as he was, and there was a reason for everything in this world. He awaited her to respond, his hand out just in case it required any physical contact.

Vienna's arms tightened around him as well, gently rubbing his back as he cried. "Please don't go." was all she said as this went on, now having to hold tears back herself. She hated crying, but the sigh of Sylus crying along with the fact that he wanted to go face Genesis... to sacrifice himself.. was a depressing thought for her to bear. Her arms again tightened around him as she thought of this, but instead of showing her own sadness she chose to try and comfort him more, laying a few gentle kisses along his neck.

Bellatrix grinned a little bit. So they did indeed have to go now.. she wanted to at least have a little time before doing anything too insane, but ah well. "Okay.. just.. relax your body as best as you can." She saw his hand come out, which confused her a bit, as if he had known some form of contact would be necessary. She also reached out her hand, but only placed to fingers into his palm. Bellatrix closed her eyes at this point, focusing energy for a moment before letting it go like a spring. A high frequency vibration would be sent through Yu's body, it would not harm him, but there may be a tingly feeling if the man had a light stomach. Within seconds, his conscious mind would appear somewhere else, somewhat similar to where Cara and him had been training, quickly followed by his body as they rejoined yet again. To Cara and Nex, it would look as if Yu had just disappeared completely, and she soon did the same to herself. A moment later, she was standing next to Yu in this new place, her eyes elsewhere as she waited for him to comment.

(the whole spirit stream thing was your idea, so im giving you the choice to explain it a bit better. :])

Sylus wrapped his arms tightly around her, still no smile upon his face as the tears slowed down coming from his eyes. "Alright... I won't go... For you" He said quietly in her ear. He felt her lips upon his neck, finding comfort from her touch, from her lips. Everything she did at this point was some form of comfort for him. "I don't know what I would do without you.... I'm so sorry... You mean the world to me..." He whispered those words in her ear again, his arms tightening around her shortly after. He had realized his mistake... And now he would never go back to those thoughts again.

The vast whiteness of the world around him told him that he was in the spirit world once again. His eyes scanned the never-ending scene that unfolded around him, he could see the spirits in the distance, going about their own business. There was an odd number of him, he guessed that the death toll upon the planet was starting to rise. Internally he sighed about this, but nothing on the outside suggested this. It didn't take him long after this for the world around him to change...

Nex's gaze went to the space that now no longer held Yu or Bellatrix within it. He walked over in that direction, seeing if there was anything left of them. "Wow.... I guess this must be his power...?"

The spirit stream seemed to no longer exist, he saw the same field of white as before. The only difference being that the sighting of a spirit seemed very rare here, he only saw them for a few seconds before they quickly moved on by. He wondered how close they were to the destination... "This is not how I imagined it..." He admitted to himself as something around them seemed to react to their presence.

Ray was taking a break from the busy day, he hated politics, he always did, yet he had to be absorbed into them in order to see that what remained of his people had their fair share. He sighed, leaning into a large chair and sighing shortly after. Soon after that he felt a shock in his head, something or someone was trying to contact him through the spirit stream. Is it a spirit? No... I would have seen it in this room... Which means it has to be one of the few gifted in this world. Who could it be? Ray thought to himself if he could trust this source, and after a bit of thought he decided that this would have to be an emergency in order for someone to contact him like this. He only knew one other person with these powers, he assumed it was that person.

The quick movement of the spirit world seemed to stop entirely,Ray suddenly appearing in front of those two as though he was a barrier preventing them from going any further. He was wearing a white tank-top with black jeans that fit loosely around his legs. He had a blue crystal connected to a length of string which was tied around his neck. His boots were also black, his eyes were of a light blue in color, and his hair was also a strange color of blue. His eyes saw Yu there, wondering what exactly this was and why it required him. "Master Cheng Yu.... Its good to see you again..." Yu bowed to him shortly after, "As it is to see you..." Ray smiled, his gaze changing to the other person. "And this woman must be your escort. I only know one other person who was gifted... So it is kind of reassuring to know that there is still more in the world." He kept the smile on his face, bowing respectfully to both of them. "I am Ray Hiroshi of the Ancient order of the Crystal... I am all that is left of the original dying order of my people... My father lead this order a long time ago... Now it is passed to me. Why have you contacted me?"

Vienna managed a small smile at his words, her tears stopping as soon as they had started. Her only reply to his was to hide her face in his chest, placing a soft kiss there was she said the only few words she thought would need saying. "I am glad.. I love you, Sylus." Though she was somewhat mad at him for threatening much the less even thinking of doing such a thing. This would be something she would not forget for quite some time unless topped be an even more horrifying situation.

Cara had to admit she was greatly surprised when the two just simply disappeared. It seemed unexplainable to her, though she was sure the woman could explain if she asked about it later. She also approached the spot they had been, looking at the floor around them then, just in case, the ceiling. No visible signs that the two had ever been there were present. "That's bizarre.." was her only reaction to this, but she eventually got over the surprise of it, now looking around to find her and Nex alone et again. Unless Vulcan was still there, of course. Seeing no one, she casually walked over to Nex. "Alone... again."

Bellatrix stayed quiet as they waited there, only smiling to herself at his comment. She had to admit, she had though exactly the same thing first time coming here... which, of course, had been a complete accident. As the man finally appeared, she said nothing, only nodding in agreement with his comment. It was always nice to meet others with gifts.. life seemed much more lonely then. At his question, her eyes went to Yu, counting on him to ask what he needed of him. She wasn't even sure exactly what he required of the man, so she would stay quiet.

Sylus knew what he did was very unforgivable, he wouldn't blame her if she held it against him for some time now. But now that didn't seem to matter, he just kept within her arms with his own arms gently around her. He kept silent, only smiling as she responded with her own 'I love you'. He placed a hand to the back of her head, gripping hold of her hair and sighing. "I'm so sorry about this.... I shouldn't have even considered it..."

Nex simply leaned against the wall, he would await their return for however long it took. His eyes then went to Cara as she began to examine the same location, finding nothing as well. She then stated a rather obvious fact, with Vulcan off doing his own thing, Sylus and Vienna off solving their own problems, and Yu and Bellatrix in the spirit stream, the two of them were alone once again. Nex smiled at her, putting an arm around her and pulling her into a half-hug, "Yes.... we are...." he said, simply holding her for the moment as he leaned against the wall.

Ray looked at the two of them for the moment, seeing a small smile creep upon the face of the mysterious woman. It was evident that she was blind, however with her gifts she would walk and act as though she had been able to see all along. He had his own gifts, contact with the spiritstream only being one of these gifts. Much like what Cara had done with the sniper encounter, he was able to make physical representations of Chakra escape his limbs. He had other powers, yet none of them could be seen on the outside as of yet by even the most trained of eyes. Cheng Yu decided to speak of the mission finally. "We need your aid... It seems that Genesis has gotten his hands on the Omnigate... We need your knowledge of the device to disable it and stop Genesis before he gains the power to summon an army of malformed creatures to swarm what remains of the planet." Ray's eyes widened at the idea of the return of the Cathedral, "My people shut down that gate many years ago.... Unless.... Xephirim somehow is still alive....Yes.... That explains everything. A long time ago a warrior destroyed a starcolony which my father helped construct... He killed all of the diplomats including my father and referred to himself as Xephirim... Genesis must have simply taken the form of that warrior and wanted to hide himself...." he place a hand on his chin, in thought of memories from the past, "But... I cannot just simply leave my post... I shall have to bring it up with the council... Is there anything else I should worry about?" Yu nodded, "The IAP are currently under control of the planet that Genesis has placed himself upon. Sylus believes that Genesis has taken control of the enemy commander and is directing the IAP... The planet is also being looted with space pirates, they have holed up in a base on the north pole...." Ray was shocked, "Amazing, the Mavericks would have to have performed amazingly in order to survive assaults from an IAP battalion... I shall discuss it with the council... I believe we shall have them on our side with the chance to destroy Genesis yet again... Come... I will invite you and we can feast and catch up on what we have...." Yu stopped him in his tracks, "There is no time... We have to leave soon. Discuss it with the council if you must... But we must leave within the next few hours... There is no way we can spend the night." Ray wondered exactly what the rush was for, if he knew the Omnigate he would need a lot of time to prepare it... Unless Genesis knew something about it he didn't know. "I see... I shall call for an emergency meeting..."

The three of them suddenly found themselves within Ray's room, there was a warm fireplace and an unfinished book placed upon a counter in the middle of the room. A thick armchair along with another sofa placed against the wall were placed around the counter. There were three doorways, one leading to the main bedroom, another leading to the bathroom and the 3rd door leading to where they wanted to go. Ray was quick to ask them to wait for a moment and walk through that door. After a small amount of waiting time Ray called the two of them into this room, the meeting would begin soon. Several different individuals that were of the same race as Ray taking their seats. Ray would point out two extra seats for them to sit on. The meeting would being shortly, all Ray had to do was wait for the others. Yu knew this place well, he lead Bellatrix down the halls, wondering exactly what was going through her mind with all of these politics heavy in the air.

Vienna stayed rather still there, her arms around him as if he were still trying to leave. Eventually, she would let go.. but not yet. As he apologized again, she did move, her head only tilting up a bit so she could see his face. "Don't apologize anymore unless you are still thinking of leaving in such a manner... okay?" She had never really had cared for apologies, though his meant more than the former she had received. Still, she wasn't the best at responding to them, so she preferred, after she knew they were sorry, just to tell them to stop. This was, in a way, one of those circumstances.

Bellatrix stayed quiet during this conversation, simply observing the man in front of them. She had already known the best of this information that was given, the rest simply all she needed to piece it together rather quickly. This was a political battle.. one which the fate of her planet would be determined. She didn't like the sound of this at all, but her expression remained blank, and she remained quiet.

Cara returned his smile, again relaxing in the half hug as she too leaned against the wall. She stayed quiet after her rather obvious comment, not quite sure what to say or if words were even necessary at the moment.

Bellatrix followed after Yu, being lead further into Ray's house, not really paying attention to the room's decor but more to the house's owner. She liked to observe people before trusting them, and though Yu trusted this man, she wasn't entirely sure if she should follow suit in this situation.

Sylus nodded, not knowing what else to stay at this moment. The tears had finally stopped after what seemed to be a waterfall escaping his eyes. He wondered what was left to do... What he had to do to prepare for the upcoming battle. Yet it all became clear to him as the sound of alarms blaring through the ship could be heard.

"We are under attack!" Shouted Vulcan from the bridge as a large screen appeared in front of him. His eyes locked into a massive IAP battleship closing in on their positions. "Damn! How they hell did they find us! We were in silent mode!" Vulcan looked at him, "Looks like were going full in now! Full power to the Leviathan! Aim cannons to starboard side and prepare for a counter attack!"

Nex looked up as a red flashing light and loud alarms blazed through his ears, it seemed that all that hope for some time alone would be ended as the call for defense echoed over the intercom. "All pilots to fighters! I repeat! All pilots to their respective fighters! This is not a drill!" Nex looked at Cara for a moment, thinking of what she could do to help. "Come on, its time for you to get some experience as a gunner!" People flooded into the docking bay as they all entered their fighters. Nex led Cara to his ship, pointing at the backseat that seemed to be turn the opposite direction. "You can be my rear gunner... Its a simple point and click interface, anybody who uses a gun can use this... I trust you Cara, I know you can do this," Nex said as his final words of encouragement echoed through her head. Nex jumped into the front seat, awaiting her to enter as well.

Ray looked at the council members, a question almost quickly popping up. "Hiroshi... I do not believe the council is permitted to accept a random visitation... Even if it is from Master Cheng Yu and one of your own kind. Explain yourself." Ray looked the elderly man with strong values bluntly displayed through his words in the eyes. "I plan to do that, but first you must understand the situation. Cheng Yu has been escorted hear by this woman to divulge a very important piece of information." Another council member barked, "What information could be so important that it takes us away from our civil duties?" Ray looked downward, almost dreading this next piece of information. "It seems we have located Xephirim... He has his hands on the remains of the Omnigate and plans to build what seems to be an army to storm the galaxy and build that new world he attempted to get through the Old Empire... We already are running out of time just as we speak." The council erupted in an uproar of conversation as soon as the name Xephirim bounced off of the walls. "Impossible! He has been dead for years! He could have possibly have survived that explosion!" Ray shook his head, "It seems that reports of unusual activity from this planet confirm that at least someone has their hands on the Omnigate... We cannot allow this to continue... I propose sending a small fleet of battleships to drive out the IAP and space pirates and liberate this planet once and for all." The Council again released a loud uproar, "If we do that we could provoke an intergalactic war? Plus this could cost us a major fortune! Perhaps we should consider other options before we..." Ray interrupted him, his frustration evident. "Tell me...? Are you willing to give up a few credits for the sake of the entire galaxy?" He pointed directly at him, the man unable to speak. "I thought so... I shall take it upon myself to lead my own personal group of men if you do not accept... If Xephirim gets away again... The results could be catastrophic." The Council stood silent at the strong words of Ray Hiroshi this day, finally someone decided to speak up. "The young Hiroshi has a point, perhaps we should put an end to this menace to the galaxy. Not for us, but for the lives of others." The council began to speak again, the eldest member standing up and stating the final verdict. "Ray Hiroshi, you have been granted control of the first fleet of Baske... Go to this planet and do what you feel is best in order to put an end to the Omnigate ever being born." Ray smiled and whispered a quiet thank you to those who supported them. The council room emptied shortly after that, allowing him to speak without the deliberation of the council blocking his opinion. "Come on... I'll take you to the Starship... We will warp to your planet and it should only take about 20 minutes if there is nothing in the way..." Yu smiled, uttering a quiet thank you to the man. Ray led the group to the large ship he spoke of.

Vienna almost jumped a little, startled at the sound of the alarm. She had been expecting as much, just.. not at the moment. She ran to the door before turning to look at Sylus briefly. "You coming?" She saw the men making haste towards the hangar, the group that had come with Vienna following, hoping that they would find a way to get to their ships.

Cara did jump, then looked around to see what the commotion was. She listened to Nex, though still somewhat confused, but followed him into his fighter nonetheless. She hopped into the seat behind him, strapping herself in, and looking to the gun which he was talking about. Whoa. She had to admit, she wasn't one for weapons, even with the training for Yu, and a gun was no exception. However, she looked at the weapon, and mentally braced herself, knowing she'd just have to try.

Bellatrix again stayed quiet and rather calm, but the new high frequency vibrations coming from what seemed to be her planet wasn't a good mind set for her. She was still quite in touch with the happenings there, though obviously they were not anywhere near the area. only after the council left and she followed the two did she speak. "Something's wrong.. with the starship.."

Sylus had no experience with the actual flying of a ship and shooting of a gun, so he was not much of a pilot or a gunner. However, there was something that he could do that he has not shown anybody yet. "Yes..." He said as he followed Vienna to her ship. "Note that I cannot shoot or fly.... However... I have an idea that might just turn this battle...."

Nex looked in front of him, lucky for him there was no traffic blocking his way. After the flipping of switches and controls at the front of the ship the entire being of the amazing bird began to light up. The ship did not take much time due to Nex's expertise with weapons and air-crafts as it propelled forward and broke its way through the air bubble that kept all air inside of the ship. He smiled, its been a while since he had been in a fighter, a piece of him couldn't help but think that this would be fun. "We have fliers! Check our 7!" A ship that was of similar design to Nex's ship flew up behind them, the IAP symbol stamped proudly to its front. Nex played a game of cat and mouse as he swerved and avoided the bullets! "Shoot!" Shouted Nex, not wanting the first fighter to take them down.

Ray turned around, his own Starship sitting proudly behind him. It filled this section of the hanger, knowing that there would be a small number of other ships to follow. "The Starship seems fine to me." It was just then that Yu's communicator began to beep, "We are under attack! Yu! We need you here! You know how to pilot this damn thing better than I do!" Yu looked at the communicator for a moment, taking it to his mouth he spoke plainly, "We will be there soon... Just hold strong and be sure that the engines are not damaged." He then looked at Ray, "Come on! We have to get there soon..." Ray nodded as he turned back toward the ship. A large ramp fell to the ground slowly and allowed them an entrance, two soldiers in tight armor standing guard for their entrance. "Commander Ray, it is good to see you. Navigator Jacobs is awaiting you on the bridge," Said one of the soldiers as he bowed to Ray. "Good, Tell Jacobs to initiate the warp drive as soon as we get out of the hanger, the other ships will just have to catch up." The soldier nodded, getting on the comm and shutting the entrance gates behind them as they entered. "Jacobs, Sir, it seems we have to get there ASAP," the voice responded. "Got it... Just tell him to get up here when we can." The ship only shook for a moment at first as the two massive engines roared behind it. It wasn't long after that that the large slab of metal preventing them from exiting moved upward and exposed space to the immense, black ship. The ship lurched forward and entered space, not taking long to zoom from its current destination. Ray led everyone else to the bridge, greeting Jacobs and introducing the crew to their company. The ship was beyond the technology of even the current level of the IAP, the crew was composed of a navigator and a supervisor that watched over everything. When the supervisor was on duty he only checked the status of the computer which told the ship to avoid planets. The commander was the ultimate supervisor, he watched over everything, there did not seem to be any weapons system in sight, but Yu had seen this technology before, he was not impressed. Ray felt a bit rude, with the rush of the moment he had never gotten one piece of information. "I do not believe I have gotten your name yet... Might I have that little trinket of information so that I may address you by it." He was very elegant with his speech, something that was not uncommon for people of his race. Yet he wondered how she would react to it, knowing that there was not many people as educated and intelligent as his race as a whole.

Vienna simply nodded as he spoke. She wasn't sure what he meant, but she had learned at least one thing from him, and that was to trust his judgement. Most of the time. Well... as she thought about it, she knew she shouldn't, but what the hell. Vienna then continued on her way out the door, her along with the few others left of her group hitting buttons as they entered the hangar, their ships soon gliding into the hangar easily. Theirs didn't need insignias of any sort, the technology was very different from the AIP's and Maverick's ships, but they didn't seem to look down upon them. While the rest departed, Vienna decided to rethink her decision on trusting Sylus' instinct, turning to face him. "What are you planning to do?"

Cara found that Nex had explained the gun a hell of a lot easier than it was for her to work it. She did, however her aiming wasn't the best, though she did manage to get a few nicks in the ship circling them. Not much help, of course.

Bellatrix found herself again silent throughout this, not used to transferring between ship like this, nor being in hangars nor bridges. This was all new to her, and it was rather distracting, so even if she did wish to talk, she may find little difficulty in it. As Ray spoke to her, she turned to look at him, almost surprised by his speech. Such elegance was hard to find nowadays. "My name is Bellatrix.." she spoke in her rather soft voice, though it was also strong in a way, altogether enhancing the tone in her words. "And you are.. Ray, if I am correct?"

Sylus looked at her for a moment, "I may not know how to really handle a weapon... But I have telekinetic abilities.... Let me show you..." he started to walk to the far end of the docking bay, just before the bubble that blocked them from suffocating where they stood. His eyes followed the ships as they darted and avoided each other while trying to destroy each other at the same time. He rose his hand, slowly exhaling as he took a stance and rose his hands. He focused on a single ship, his hands following it along its path for several minutes before it attempted to board the ship. The ship suddenly stopped in midair, the pilot panicking inside of the cockpit. He attempted to push his way out of the glass, but the glass pressed back against him. The metal of the ship began to bend to Sylus's will as he rose his head and met eyes for the final living being he would see in existence. The hull constricted itself around him and turned into a twisted mass of metal. Then, there was silence as the metal began floating out to space, a small amount of blood beginning to exit the mass of metal. "Do you think that will help...?" Sylus asked.

Nex groaned in self annoyance, knowing he didn't really explain the gun well. He took this ship in his own hands, seeing that she had gotten enough for him to at least outmaneuver the ship. He spun around and with some more fancy flying which caught the fighter off guard the ship soon turned into a broken mass of metal floating off in random directions. "Sorry I didn't explain the gun properly before.... I was in a rush... Get what you can and I'll do my best otherwise... We have to hope that we can get through this..." He then turned his head, seeing a large battleship coming from the rear, "Damn it! At this rate we are going to be destroyed!"

Ray Hiroshi nodded, "Yes.... My full name is Ray Hiroshi... Son of Shingen Hiroshi. He is not well known but he did several things which ensured the survival of my people... Now that is in my hands. Genesis killed him right in front of my eyes, back then he was known as Xephirim... But many more have lost more than me... This cannot be a personal battle, this can only be a battle for the sake of others. For if I bring my own element into this, I could become reckless and push myself forward strictly on fury... I cannot allow that to happen for the sake of my people and everyone else." Ray looked to the screen in front of him, it didn't take much longer before the blackness of space stood still once more. "Sir, it seems that there is a battle going on ahead. Two F-77 Class Battleships are attacking the Leviathan... It looks to be about 30 fighters that seem to be slowly increasing due to a constant stream by the IAP. At this rate the MAVERICKs will face annihilation." Ray looked at the supervisor that spoke for a moment, then at Jacobs. Two more had joined them, their hands were on new panels that seemed to be weapon systems. Ray spoke, "Miss Bellatrix as much as I would like to continue our conversation, I have matters that need tended to..." He saw the planet in the distance along with a large amount of explosions encircling the planet. This was going to be a battlefield. "Prepare the EMP Cannon. Aim at Mark 32 and position us so we will not scare the inhabitants of the planet.... I do not want to cause any more chaos than is needed." The two individuals nodded and began pressing buttons quickly upon their respective panels. The ship seemed to shake a bit for a second, Ray's eyes locked on the space in front of him as a deep hum echoed through the lower sections of the ship. "On my signal..." Ray rose his left arm, awaiting for the perfect time as the enemy battleship moved into position...

Ray simply dropped his left arm to signal its demise. A massive, pink beam shook the ship greatly and charged forth to the IAP battleship that was coming from the rear. Nex watched in amazement as the horror which could result in their death soon was entirely disabled. The outer shields vanished entirely and the ship was left entirely intact, electrical pulses escaped the ship shortly after as it began floating out into the depths of space. "Escape pods are preparing for take off... Orders?" Asked the navigator as he watched a large amount of small ships escape the once mighty battleship. "Avoid casualties if you can and send out the Hunters... Capture as many pods as possible and destroy the rest. If we have some prisoners we might be able to convince the IAP to leave the planet without any effort. The pirates will be another matter altogether." Ray watched as a large group of blue ships escaped, they were oddly designed, seemingly a gap below the ship with a large claw just below the engine area. It moved quickly and seemed very light, perfect for quick strikes, however, it did not seem to have any weapons. It did not need those weapons.

Nex avoided the blue ships as he watched them in amazement, The swooped in so quickly and took care of the job almost as quickly. For every escape pod their seemed to be a hunter, positioning themselves at the back of those ships and crushing their engines shortly after. It was then that another electronic pulse was released into the ship, causing the passengers and pilots to lurch from the sudden pain and pass out from the electrical shock. This was the true power of the Crystellions, warfare while avoiding death. This was their way.

Bellatrix listened to his story, eyes unmoving, until he finished. As he broke off their conversation, she nodded in understanding, then again went silent. She did not know of anything for herself to do besides watch these happenings, a twinge of guilt for the IAP pilots coming within her. But that left quickly.

Vienna watched with interest, leaning against the side of her ship as this went on. She was a bit confused at first, but her eyes widened at what became of the pilot and his ship. At his question, she turned to him and slowly nodded. "That may help a lot.. I, however, need actual weapons.. so.." Vienna hopped into the cockpit of her ship, strapped herself in, but it was then that the new blue ships made their appearance. She watched this in horror for a moment before slowly re-exiting her ship.

Cara was a bit confused by the sudden stopping of movement around her, looking around only to see the blue ship's hunters going after what seemed to be escape pods. Watching what became of the pilots twisted her expression into that of horror. The sight also struck a sudden feeling of sickness within her, which she held back with some effort. "Nex... Who are they?" she asked, meaning the ones that came form the new coming blue ship.

"Jacobs, open a comm link between us and the Leviathan. We need to explain ourselves for our actions." "Yes sir," Replied Jacobs as Ray gave him a direct order. After a few minutes of waiting a large screen appeared over the window leading to the outside, Vulcan's face appeared to greet him, he quickly saw Cheng Yu and sighed. "Its good to see you guys... I didn't expect the Crystellions to send a starship though.... This battle is going to be simple with you on our side." Yu smiled, "But he did not just send a single ship, his fleet is coming shortly after." Vulcan was surprised, shock within his eyes as he looked at Ray for a moment. "Wow... How many ships?" Ray answered this questions, "1 Starship, 15 battleships, 43,000 fighters, and 2 carriers. In about 30 seconds after the ships arrive we are going to set up a defensive field around the planet to be sure that any more IAP will be trapped upon the planet and their steady stream of supplies will be blocked. There will be no more invaders after that and the planet should be safe. The last problem remaining will be Genesis. Once we get the Omnigate from his hands he should have no reason to stay here... Hopefully we will be able to eliminate him in the process but Genesis has been known to be hard to catch." Vulcan nodded, "We can only do what we can... The least we can do for these people is liberate their planet. Genesis will have no use of staying here with the Omnigate destroyed." Ray nodded, "Alright, I will be transporting Yu and Bellatrix back to your ship soon. We can get Bellatrix back home and Yu back to his post.... That is unless you want to stay here." He looked at Bellatrix then to Yu. "I should probably get back to my ship... Vulcan wasn't really meant for leading..." Yu walked off toward the transporter. Ray then looked at Bellatrix, "Well, do you want to be transported home?"

Sylus watched as the blue ships swooped in and removed the entire IAP fleet from the battlefield without any effort. He placed his hand on the bubble dividing them from space and watched with a dim interest. "Don't bother.... The Crystellions have it... Yu's gambit as paid off in a big way..." He watched the ships return to the starship, watching as the fleet followed soon after. The final IAP ship began its retreat, but by the time it was turned around it was already demolished by the Leviathan's cannons.

Nex watched, seeing as the ships sped by them without even paying attention to the fact that they existed. This was a good thing for him, they were either neutral or they were bigger enemies with the IAP than them. "I don't know.... But they cannot be enemies... We would have already been dead with a ship that fast... or captured... Look.... Not a single death... Its like a stun gun is connected to those ships..." He sighed, turning to see that the rest of the IAP ships were retreating. "Lets just go back to the ship... Maybe Vulcan or Sylus can explain this," Nex said as he turned the fighter around. They saw Sylus standing at the bubble, Sylus moved in response and allowed the two to land. Nex wasted no time in getting out of the ship and asking Sylus his questions. Sylus answered what he had said before. Crystellions, Yu was on this ship and an entire fleet had come to help. They now had the man-power to match even the IAP. Nex knew this war was won, he smiled a bit and thanked Sylus for the information. He then turned back toward Cara, "Yeah... Sorry for forcing you in that position back there.... It was kind of rushed..."

Bellatrix stayed quiet again through this, her mind in another place as of now. Until she was asked a question, upon which she thought about for a moment before turning to Ray to answer. "I'd actually like to stay.. if that is alright. Things are getting interesting.." Not only were things down on her planet considered 'boring' to her, but she wanted to look out for her son and the two girls; Vienna and Cara, whom she'd know for quite some time.

Vienna only nodded and continued to watch, in almost a state of awe. Never had she seen such a quick, casualty-less fight before. A flicker of something she was sure she'd lost when she had met Genesis, hope, had re-ignited within her. Just maybe there would be hope for her home planet... just maybe.

Cara stayed quiet, her eyes glued on the window, watching the happenings outside. When they landed, she was not as quick as Nex to get out, though she did follow after him. She listened with little understanding of this, probably because she was having trouble paying attention at the moment. She was, as she had found herself many times since she had met Nex, in a state of awe, much like Vienna. However, at the question directed at her, she came back down to earth quickly. A small smile spread upon her lips as she answered. "It's alright.. I'm just sorry I wasn't of much help."

Ray nodded as he saw Yu step into the pre-programmed transporter. His eyes now focusing on the window yet again, being sure that there was nothing else going on. "Status report Jacobs." "The ship still has near full power cells and an undamaged shield generator. It seems the battle went on without a single problem, we were not even targeted. The fleet is currently in the process of encircling the planet and there seems to be no more activity in the outer atmosphere." Ray rose an eyebrow, "Strange.... Most of the ships have landed? That is begging for any hostile group to bomb them out of the planet... I wonder why they did that?" Jacobs wondered himself, "I don't know sir, perhaps they believed that this planet was secluded enough that they did not have to worry about it?" Ray thought to himself fora moment but decided to ignore it for now. Answering this question would get them nowhere. For now he had a guest to tend to. "So, how did you get in contact with Yu to get in contact with me.... Do you live on this planet?" He took a seat on a spinning chair, offering her a seat as well. Despite her blindness, he felt that she had another sense that told her things, as though something was watching for her without eyes.

Sylus looked into space for a moment more before turning around and walking back toward Vienna. He could see a hope in her eyes, causing him to smile. He was about to give her a big hug, but something interrupted him. "Did you miss me?" Yu asked playfully as he walked up behind the group and saw them. Nex smiled, "Yu, you got here just in the nick of time.... Does that man you met own those ships?" Yu shook his head, "They are simply on loan from his colony. He is a commander in his own colony... So he has certain powers... But come, we must prepare for the continued push. We are invading the north pole in a few hours. If you are hungry, get something to eat, if you are thirsty, get something to drink. Because after that we will have back Nex's ship.... Then this war will completely shift in our favor."

Bellatrix's eyes followed him as he went to sit, almost a little surprised as he offered her a seat. She took the offer, finding herself a seat in another chair. "Well, yes.. My son is on board the Maverick ship. I suppose he led them to me.." After speaking, she thought about her words for a second before nodding. No other would have known where she was living there, it was a highly isolated part of the planet. "What are your connection to Yu?" she asked, actually very curious on this subject.

Vienna turned to Sylus after her moment of awe was over, and couldn't help but smile at the sight of his smile. It was one of those warm feelings in side of her, but that was stopped a the reappearance of Yu. Cara smiled at the sight Yu's return, but was a bit confused. Where was Bellatrix? She quickly dismissed this thought, knowing she would probably have went back home by now. At Yu's last comment, her smile widened a bit, her eyes going to Nex. Yes, he would have his ship back. That would be one rather large relief.

Little did Cara know that her relief would be short lived, for another man caught caught wind that the IAP ship in that area had been annihilated. Crossing his arms, Alastair, AKA Lizard Man, grumbled something unintelligible along the lines of 'useless' and 'pathetic attempt'. He then paused and snickered a bit, a complete mood change coming over him. He still wasn't about to let his only daughter get involved in this big a fight, would he? Oh, no.. he ahd much better plans for her.

She has a son? I wonder who the father is... She didn't seem to have her husband with her unless he had stayed behind, but he decided not to think on that subject. Instead he thought back to the time that he and Yu met. "I met Yu on one of those grand meeting planets... I think it was Earth back before it was destroyed. There we talked and got to know each other and I promised to take him to the next planet... This was back before I had any power in the government and I really didn't care about what was happening back home. I was young and needed to find my own path. I found it back with my people, and although the local politics are annoying, I have to be sure that the colony is not sold to any companies or anything like that... Some people like money and its been attempted before." He paused, looking out to the window again, he always loved the beauty of space. "We've been friends for about 50 years now. You said your son was on the Mavericks ship, is he a Maverick or what is he?"

Sylus looked back at Vienna, and now that Yu had let them alone he gave her that big hug. "Come on... Lets go get something, do you need anything?" Sylus's own stomach growled, Nex's doing the same. Nex laughed, "I guess he spoke my language... We haven't had much time to eat. Come on... Lets go grab something, I'll show you where the mess hall is. Feel free to follow guys." He said to Sylus and Vienna as he began walking down the hallway. "Shall we go?" asked Sylus.

"GRAH!? WHAT!?" Pyrus clubbed the nearest tree and turned back toward the Commander, "What do you mean that our fleet has been destroyed!? We have no escape and the Crystellions have sealed us off from our supplies. Call for an emergency rescue! We cannot stay here!" The Commander lifted his head and met face to face with the angry Pyrus. "That won't be needed." Pyrus's eyes burned with anger along with his next words, "Its either suicide or capture if we stay here. I don't know about you but I'm calling for an evac." He turned around and began to march back toward his ship, but something stopped him. Creatures, many of them ran through the bushes in an attempt to ambush Pyrus, Pyrus clubbed as many of them as he could with his massive arms but felt more attacking from behind as what was human of him was torn apart. Pyrus released one final roar of pain as his arms fell off of what was left of his human body. Pyrus was dead.

Bellatrix listened with interest, her eyes focused upon him the whole time he spoke. At the end, at the mention of her son being a Maverick, she laughed softly. "No, Xander, my son, is an ex-space pirate.. he is just joining the Maverick group for now to help with their efforts on our planet." She spoke this without the slightest hint of disapproval in her voice. She was proud of how her son turned out, regardless of his past, she stated the fact of his connection to the space pirates freely to him. Her attention then went to the room around them momentarily, her eyes only traveling a little as she studied it. She found they were rather close to a window, but beyond that was rather hard for her to 'see'. She was a bit disappointed, space was supposed to be beautiful from hat she'd heard of it.

Vienna noticed something from Cara that confused her. A slight twitch in her right arm. It was more of a throbbing, really, it was as if her pulse had taken over her arm. Cara herself noticed this soon after, a look of confusion coming to her face, as she flexed her fingers. Her hand looked to be normal.. but the throbbing obviously wasn't.

A space pirate? And yet she seems to speak without negativity in respect to this.... Interesting. "Well, he must be a good individual if he is fighting for the sake of his planet." He said with a small smile. He saw her eye the window for a moment, wondering something to himself. Has she ever seen.... I wonder if she was born blind.... It must be hard not being able to see all the beauty in the world.... Maybe I can help. Ray stretched his hand out to her and spoke plainly, "Take my hand.... I want to give you a temporary sight. I know you can sense and feel the world around you... But to not see the beauty of the world for what it really is must be terrible. I want to give you that gift.... But It will only be temporary. Note that you will not be seeing through your own eyes... But you will be seeing through my eyes. Don't be alarmed if you see yourself sitting in the other seat." He said, remembering the first time he actually tried this. Needless to say it wasn't pretty.

Sylus noticed the twitching and throbbing of her arm, raising an eyebrow for a moment he stopped the two with a voice. "Wait.... Look at Cara's arm." Nex turned toward her arm, noticing the throbbing that was escaping it. "Woah.... Is something wrong with your arm.... Are you okay?" He asked, reaching out and touching it.
