Izelle just shrugged her shoulders at having the vampire identify her inhumanity, she didn't plan on telling them any more about what she was, she'd always hated giving up secrets and was certainly not going to give it all up to a strange troop of misfits in all races. She smiled to herself as she lost the empty feeling of hunger and felt like a sleek, fat cat. She stopped herself from changing in front of them, once again secretive.

Nicolas quickly introduced Vincent and Victoria and then introduced himself to Victoria. "My name is Nicolas H.A Rawdroll." he said, still half in a daze. Was he a vampire? It was possible. Maybe part of his blood was vampiric. But he could not remember, time had worn him thin.

He then shook himself out of his daze and poured himself a glass of wine. Then he remembered. "Vincent, you said you wished to see a cat?" he asked. He was sure that the ones up in his room would not come out to see anybody new just yet, so maybe they could go hunting in the gardens.

Izelles jaw dropped at that. "You've never seen a cat?" She'd spent her whole life with animals and she simply couldn't believe that this man had NEVER SEEN A CAT. "You're joking..." The person, apparently called 'Vincent', seemed transparently honest though.

"Corretion, Never seen a Live cat" He sighed. "If you spent a day as a Vekk you'd probably hate it..." He Mumbled and quickly smiled. "Anyway! Let us find a Kitty!" he started to hop on the spot."And it's nice to meet you lot" He clapped his hands together joyfully. "C'mon let's go let's go let's gooo~"

Nicolas chuckled lightly and smiled. He had welcomed a very interesting group of guests into his cathedral. He hoped they would stay long. "Ladies," he started, standing between Victoria and the younger woman "If you so wish, there are rooms and bathing rooms the next level up. Just please," he smiled mischievously "don't get lost." and with that Nicolas lead Vincent outside to a herb garden.

"The cats tend to stay out of these gardens, but here," Nicolas opened a dark metal gate "They get lost in these gardens often." he said walking into a bramble garden. Black roses bloomed along the deadly vines and every now and again, Nicolas and Vincent would come across a red rose.

They walked though the maze of brambles in what seemed like circles, but thanks to very discreet signs, Nicolas knew where he was going. After a few minutes, Nicolas heard a mew. He followed the sound to where a small kitten stood, stuck in a tangle of brambles. "Heres one." Nicolas said, placing his wine glass down and freeing the small calico cat from the brambles. "This is a kitten, a child cat." Nicolas said, petting the small creature. "Only females have this type of pelt." he said, showing Vincent the many colors.

"Woow" Vincent crouched and stroked the kitten "Hey lil one...you hungry?" He smiled and checked his pockets for some of the food he kept with him from the dining hall. "Ah ha!" He pulled a small piece of chicken skin from his pocket. " Ere ya go, Eat up" He smiled and looked up at Nicolas "Thank you for showing me this cute little thing" he rose and hugged the man Quickly.

Victoria nodded, and silently walked out of the room to find a staircase. Suddenly remembering how large the cathedral was, she wished she would have asked for directions. She started to walk through the different rooms on her way to finding a staircase. Now I know what he meant by getting lost..,she thought. Sighing, she decided to just stay in one place. Finding a room that looked somewhat like a lounge, she sat.

Nicolas was surprised by the hug, but it was a quick gesture. "Your quite welcome, Vincent." He said with a smile. He stood ans held out the now purring kitten. "Here," he placed the tiny thing in Vincents arms. "Keep it. Most cats that find themselves in these gardens are strays." Nicolas said.

Nicolas was showing Vincent back inside when he heard the sound of someone cursing back in the bramble garden. "Take her back inside," he told Vincent, petting the kitten. "If you'd like, there are rooms on the second floor. Just be careful, it ti's easy to get lost among the hallways." Nicolas told his guest, heading back to the bramble garden.

"Hello?" Nicolas called. He had sworn he heard someone in here.

Vincents smile grew. "I can keep it???" Vincent hugged the kitten with his hands and placed it on his head where it made itself comfy. "I'ma call it....Gir." He walked back into the building and ran about seeing how well the kitten could grip his head. "You're so cutttttttte~!"

Izelle entered the garden cautiously, having seen the gardens that led toward where the Nicholas person had said the beds were and relized they were grown into a tumbling, lawless maze that she knew could take ages to figure out. She contemplated becoming a bird and just flying through the whole mess but she knew the devilish man who resided here would have planned this silly thing to be impossible from anywhere but the ground and she would have to take the thing on her own. The world seemed to die around her as she entered the garden, even though the place was teeming with life and flower. She gulped.

Victoria sighed, seeing as how it would be embarrassing getting caught being lost. Standing up, she walked out of the room continuing her search for the staircase. She soon found herself in the same room she had been let in through. Defeated, she walked back into the dining room, and sat down at the same chair she had previously been seated at.

"Oh! Food, more food for mein Kudoz!" He laughed as he sped to the dining room screeching his heels to a halt as he stumbled across Victoria. "Ello!" He called smiling and rushing to the table, taking the kitten of his head and placing it on his plate to eat the remaining meat he had left. "Eat up".

After having entered the maze, Izelle already felt hopelessly lost and wished she had had the prudence to simply stay in the dining room and leave in the morning. She groaned as she entered a new garden, this one full of hostile thorns and brambles just waiting to rip at her skin and let the soft earth drink in her blood. What now? She wondered as she went into the garden.

Slightly startled, Victoria flinched. "Hi." She smiled, looking at Vincent. Turning her gaze to the little kitten now on the table, her smile widened. She loved cats, they were one of her favorite animals ever since she was little. Having a cat was one of the few things she remembered about her human life. "Is it yours?" She asked him, motioning to the kitten.

"Hello?" Nicolas called again. He heard one person cursing and another walking around. Two people in the same garden? Odd. he thought, still walking through the garden. "Call out if you hear me." Nicolas called again.

"Yes it is! she's called Gir" HE smiled brightly. "I just got her, isn't she cute? they're called Kitten meaning baby cat" Vincent, still new to living Kittens. "Wanna stroke her? please do!" He clapped his hands and lifted the plate with the Kitten on it as he walked towards her.

Victoria blinked in surprise, seeing him bring the kitten to her. "You seem pretty energetic." Smiling, she gently stroked the kitten. Admiring the small kitten's fur, she starting to wonder what her old cat had looked like. "Yes, she is very cute..Nice to meetcha, Gir." She added softly, speaking to the kitten.

Vincent sighed taking a breath. "I'm in a pretty bad mood actually, i've just found out i'm supposed to die here because my people don't think i should be allowwed to like other creatures like humans and vampires and cats and dogs and every other bloody creature i find cute and lovely..." He took a breath and smiled. "But it's my fault really so i'm just going to have to deal with it..."

Confused, Victoria's forehead slightly creased. "Why wouldn't you be allowed to like other creatures? That's terrible.." Her expression darkened a bit, remembering why she had been sent here. "A stranger from a church sent me here to die, actually..I guess I'm just not allowed to exist." She grinned at Vincent. "It's good that you can deal with it, though. I have trouble with dealing with things like that.."

"Heh, that's a shame" VIncent sighed and patted her shoulder "Not to sound rude but what kind of creature are you? Human? Vampire? Demon?" he smiled. "it will get better, everything does" He said in a cheery voice. "You seem slightly beffudled by my random appearence to introduction, is that true?" He laughed, he had no idea what he had just said. "Oooh Gir, your a good kitty Aint'cha" He smiled and stroked his kittens head, to which it rose its head and mewed lightly. "Awwww"

Victoria chuckled lightly. "I'm a vampire...and you?" She found herself returning his smile, and giggling, that was something she hadn't done in a long while. "I'm sorry I'm not entirely sure what you meant by that." Her smile stayed on her face as she watched his pet his kitten. "Aw, she's adorable."

"I'm a Vekk...Not a good species to be with" He chuckled lightly. "What's it like being a vampire?" he spoke to her even though his eye contact remained with the kitten. "This is the first living type of cat i've ever seen...and i get to own it" he said gleefully. "I wonder how ould she is...and how's Nicolas?, Where, to be precise" Vincent paused for thought

"Hm..Never heard of them, sorry." Victoria wasn't exactly sure how to answer his question. "Well, it gets rather lonely. And I don't age..another bummer." She grinned at him and his kitten. "Never seen a living cat before? Wow. Well, Gir's a cutie..As for Nicholas, I'm not sure where he is. Didn't you two go somewhere together? He could still be there.."

Izelle was exceedingly annoyed at this point, twisting and turning in this thrice blasted maze! She had finished the level full of brambles only to be in another flower garden exactly like the fist one. She sighed.

About five minutes later she turned into a snow leopard because the cold was creeping into her bones and also because cats have sharper eyes and see better in the dark then humans so if she really did find anything in would certainly be with the intelligent eyes of huntress.

When no one answered his calls, Nicolas returned to the herb garden. He would come back later and check around. He walked calmly back into the cathedral, wine glass in hand.

He walked around for a moment, looking for his three guests. He found Vincent and Victoria talking in one of the lounges, but his third guest was nowhere in sight. With a shrug, assuming that she went to explore more of the cathedral, Nicolas went over to Vincent and Victoria. "How's Gir?" he asked, looking at the please kitten.
