Alia spent the night pondering how to get Nicolas to show her the way out. Since her powers apparently didn't work on him, she would have to use a different method. Maybe she could bribe him with gold. Since he wasn't human, it wouldn't brake the rules. Technically anyway. Though maybe it would be a good idea to keep her race a secret. She spaced out for a few minutes then, and was thouroghly confused as to where she was afterwards. Alia sighed and stood up, unsure what exactly she was going to do.

King realized he was in a daze. When he broke from the daze he walked back to his bedroom. King was bored of the normal routine. Where did everyone go? He peeked out into the hallways, but didn't stray far. He went back to his room so he wouldn't get lost. I've been here for so short of time and already the flashed came back. I have to get them under control or someone will get hurt. Well maybe not, there people seem pretty swift.

Once downstairs, Alia didn't want to wake anyone up, she wandered around for a bit before ending up in the garden. What if I climbed over one of the hedges? That might lead me out. She thought to herself, not really sure how to climb the hedge.
Alia looked up at the ten foot tall hedge, and sighed. It was so tall! She sighed again, but attempted to climb it. It didn't work very well, there was no good footing, and the pointy leaves kept digging into her feet. Cursing, Alia took out her pocket knife and began to hack through the hedge. The branches were very hard, and difficult to cut. It would take her days to get out this way, but she kept trying, hoping that no one would find her.

Izelle was wandering about when she saw more stairs. She took a deep breath and went up, wondering what could be waiting on the third floor.

Nicolas just chuckled more when Victoria looked at him. "Just remembering my last batch of guests. Ten men. Three soldiers like King, and always fighting. Two fairies. In all meaning of the word..." he said with a slight roll of his eyes. "Then just five ordinary men with death wishes. They stayed for a good three years before tiring of each other." Nicolas finished. Then he remembered how he lost one of the men looking for death. That had not been fun at all.

They were still descending when Nicolas heard someone coming up the stairs. They walked for another moment or two before seeing who it was. The lady from before, the one that had not named herself was standing in front of Nicolas and Victoria. "Greetings. Sleep at all?" Nicolas asked politely.

Victoria raised an eyebrow."Oh. They must've been... eventful." She silently wondered what a male fairy would be like when she saw the girl from earlier. Victoria grinned at her, then wondered what she had been doing.

"Yes I did." Izelle said, trying to be polite with their odd host. "I don't believe I introduced myself." She sheathed her sword and held out one hand to shake. "Izelle of Goldenreed at your service, sir." She was wary of this one, uncertain how he would act.

Nicolas bowed slightly to Izelle. "Nice to meet you. I do hope you're doing alright." he said with a smile. She seemed to be a very wary person. Her movement reminded Nicolas of a cat, or maybe a snake? She was very sleek and her movements smooth. "Farther up the sitars, is my floor. Feel free to wander if you wish." he said, gesturing up the way he and Victoria had come.

"Thank you," she said, nodding stiffly and trying not to seem so lost. "I see you like mazes." Izelle said to their host, veiled taunting in her voice.

Hours later, Alia had managed to hack through three and a half inches of the hedge. Sighing she put her pocket knife away and decided to find another way out. She wondered what everyone else was doing. Sleeping maybe, or up and wandering like her. Alia headed inside, hoping that there was still some food left on the table.
It took Alia a little while to find the way back inside, and when she did, there didn't seem to be any food left. Or maybe she just had the wrong room.

Victoria stayed quiet during Nicholas and Izelle's conversation, straying off a bit from the two of them to take a look around. She glanced down the staircase, attempting to count how high up they were. She frowned, unable to see the floors to count.

Nicolas frowned the slightest bit. "Yes, I've always liked mazes. Though a few of them have run away from my power here. The first floor and my floor are the ones with the least amount of maze. In fact my floor is the only one that is not enchanted. Ran out of strength at the end and decided to leave it." he said to Izelle.

Nicolas saw Victoria looked down the stairs. "We're on the fifth level right now." he said asuming that was what she was looking for.

Victoria walked back over to him, grinning. "Oh.. thanks." She rubbed her neck, kinda embarrassed for trying to figure it out the hard way instead of just asking.

Nicolas perked back up and chuckled. "Your welcome." he said with a smile. He then nodded a goodbye to Izelle and began to head back down the stairs with Victoria.

They reached the ground floor about twenty minutes later. No one seemed to down here just yet. "Shall we search for King?" Nicolas asked.

Victoria follow nicholas down the stairs, a bit tired when they finally reached the bottom. She turned to him and nodded. "Okay." She started down a hallway, not sure where exactly the soldier would be.

Since she couldn't find any food, Alia headed back upstairs, and into one of the bedrooms. Maybe there's a trap door in here or something. She thought to herself, and began to explore the room inside out. The room was extravagant, but it didn't hold what she was looking for. Since she hadn't done so yet, she walked out onto the balcony, hoping that she would be able to climb down and out of Death's Cathedral. But, after she climbed up on the wall so that she could see, it was obvious that if Alia climbed down, she would only end up in one of the gardens.

When the pair was almost out of sight Izelle made a rude face at her hosts retreating back. She meant no harm to the vampire lady but the immortal man was starting to creep her out.

Victoria stole a quick look backwards, from where they'd come. Seeing the face Izelle was making, she frowned, then quickly turned away. She was used to getting weird or disgusted looks from people, but she thought it was a bit uncalled for.

When Izelle saw Miss Vampires insulted and shocked face, she immidiatly felt guilty. She almost called "Sorry!" But decided that would be stupid because Mr. Immortal Nicholas would have no idea what she was talking about.

Sighing, Alia walked out into the hallway for lack of nothing better to do. It as pretty obvious that she wasn't getting out unless Nichols showed her the way. Alia walked up the starirs, and wandered around for a while, going up and down the stairs, trying to find someone who might know where Nicholas was. Finally she saw a girl in the hallway. "Hey, have you seen Nicholas around here anywhere?" She asked, hoping the girl had.

"Yeah, he went that way with, ummm, Victoria. I think that's her name." Izelle pointed down the path they'd just gone and decided to see where they were going, it might have more interesting things. She walked quietly toward there retreating forms.

"Thanks." Alia said, and hurried after the retreating figures of Nicholas and Victoria,
The girl followed quietly as well, but Alia didn't ask her why.
"Hey Nicholas!" She called when she was close enough for him to hear her.

Izelle hadn't wanted them alerted to her precence but it really didn't matter she supposed. They would have seen her soon enough. She streched as she walked, loosening her sword in it's sheath for no reason.

Victoria turned around, hearing the two girls behind them. They hadn't called her name, but it had still caught her attention. Victoria didn't recognize one of the girls, but decided to ask later as well as introduce herself. Instead of saying anything, she just stopped walking, and smiled a little.

When Victoria smiled a little Izelle bowed slightly as if to indicate an apology. She hoped Victoria got the message because Izelle had never handled guilt well. She prefrered to just forget about all her actions as soon as she had done them so she tried to always do things without being noticed.
