Lisette sighed as she walked into class and was viciously attacked by her friend Isabella... Well... Izzy for short.

"What the fooch?"

"My brother... He's coming home today...." Izzy jumped up and down.

"Wait... DANNY?!" Lisette sat in her seat.

"DUH! The only brother I got."

Lisette shook her head. "Alright... I take it you want me to head over with you after school?"

"Of course dum dum." Izzy laughed.

Lisette shook her head and went to her seat.

Classes seemed to fly by that day. Before she knew it. Lisette was in her last hour class staring up at the clock. Once the bell rang she was out and headed to her locker.

Izzy walked up to her and smiled. "Danny is suppose to pick me up today...

Lisette jumped slightly. "IZZY GOOD GOD!!! don't sneak up like that."

Izzy just laughed and pulled her friends arm to the parking lot of school.

Daniel knew that his sister wanted him to pick her up. He got up from his bed, his parents had left his room the same since he left, and walked to the dresser to find pants. Slipping into some, he found the keys to his car and headed out.

Next thing he knew, he was parked outside the high school, waiting for his little sister. He climbed out of his dark purple Scion XB and walked to the passenger side to wait for Izzy. It had been awhile since he had seen her, school getting in the way of their time. He was grateful that he was done with it.

Izzy ran out and hugged him with a squeal. "DANNY!!!!!" She smiled. "You remember Lizzie right?"

Lisette stood behind her friend biting her lip. She hadn't changed a lot since she saw him last but then again.... Last time she saw him.... She was a Sophomore. And she was his sister's best friend... That normally didn't get passed that.

Isabella shoved Lisette over to Danny. "She hasn't changed much.... Just got cuter." She pinched the girls cheek.

"Izzy... I know you like girls but damn.... Go easy on the cheeks." Lisette said rubbing where Izzy had pinched.

Izzy slapped her friend on the rear end. "Meh... I may be a lesbian but that doesn't give you the right to make fun of me." She teased and hugged her brother again.

Lisette still had a blush to her cheeks. "Hey Danny." She smiled.

Izzy grinned. She knew Lisette had a crush on him since they were in like... 7th grade... She really didn't care either... She had tried hooking them up before but it epic failed.

Daniel hugged his little sister and smiled down at her, he was several inches taller than her. "Hey sis! I see you have been well." he said, eying her slightly.

When she commented on Lisette, he looked at her. Visibly, he showed no interest but mentally, his mind was thinking of how much she really had changed since he had seen her last. "Oh...yeah...I remember her. Hey Lizzy..." he said, his voice showing no emotion.

Izzy grinned. "Come on.. Let's go home."

Lisette smiled and shook her head. "She's still as crazy as ever." She looked up at her friends older brother. 'Les voix.' She said to herself in French.

Izzy waved her hand infront of Lisette's face. "Hey... Lizzie... TERROR TWIN!!!"

"Huh what?" Lisette looked at her.

Izzy shook her head. "Dude... Come on."

Lisette rolled her eyes. 'His voice.... Last I heard it.... It was still cracking.....' Biting her lip she sat in the backseat looking out the window. 'now...it's like....velvet....'

Izzy turned to look at her friend. "LIZZIE!"

"WHAT!?" Lisette jumped.

Daniel looked at Izzy and then to Lisette. "Umm...am I taking her home too? Or is she coming home with us?" he said as he circled around to the driver side and got in.

He looked back at Lisette and gave her a small smile. "Whatever...Let's go." he said, his voice soft but deep, as he started the car.

'Oh god.... Danny... stop talking...' Lisette said in her head as she looked out the window again.

Izzy shook her head. "She's coming home with us." Her blue eyes matching her brothers.

Lisette put her cheek on her hand not paying attention.

Izzy whispered to her brother. "She's been having family issues lately and needs to get out away from her parents... Plus not to mention she has a thing for you."

Lisette heard the last bit and threw her art pencil at Izzy. "TRAITOR!" Lisette blushed a deep scarlet red then.

Izzy rubbed her head. "Owie... Damn..."

Daniel eyed Lisette from the rear view mirror and laughed quietly to himself. "Alright..." he said then turned around to look at Lisette. "And no throwing things in my car," he said to her soft but sternly.

He pulled the car out and began to drive towards the house. "So, sis, how have you been?"

Lisette turned a bright red before looking out the window again

Izzy laughed. "Good... Bored as always in school but I'm good. But broke up with Mileena today... Don't ask... She's a crazy bitch.... That's all you need to know."

Lisette snickered slightly. "The chick that thought you were cheating on her with me..."

Izzy looked at Lizzie. "Oh my god... She speaks!"

"Yea... I do.." She smirked.

Izzy shook her head and turned back to the front. "Going to test for my license soon... So is Lizzie.." She grinned.

Daniel looked over at his sister and laughed. He looked in the rear view again, "I thought you didn't roll that way, Lisette."

When Izzy said something about testing for her license, he looked at her with a straight face. "You aren't using my car." He pulled up into the driveway and parked the car. Daniel got out and walked to the door, unlocking it, he turned back to the car and waited for them to get out before he hit the locked button. "Ladies first," he said, pushing the door open for them.

Lisette looked at him. "I don't swing that way... I'm straight as a board."

Izzy rolled her eyes. "Dude.. She's like a sister to me... EWWW!"

Lisette laughed. "Incest is the best put your sister to the test..." She looked at Izzy and kissed her cheek.

Izzy face palmed. "EEWWWWWW LIZZIE!!!! THAT'S... JUST.... EEEWWWWWWW!!!! YOU'RE SICK!!!!!!"

Lisette laughed and headed up to the door.

Izzy chased after her friend and tackled her. "DUDE!!!! You are sick!"

Lizzie let out a yelp. "RAPE!!! I CLAIM RAPE!!!"

"Right..." Daniel said calmly and walked past them. All he could think of was how childish they were acting. "I'll be in my room when you are done playing with each other." He walked up there stairs without looking back at them. He didn't close the door to his room all the way, leaving a little crack. Music could be heard from the hallway as he sat on his bed and opened a book.

Izzy got up and pulled Lisette with her. "DANNY BOY!"

"Oh god.." Lisette said.

Izzy threw Lizzie on top of Danny before she tackled him. "Hi guys... When do I get to be an aunt?"

"IZZY!!!! You fat ass.... You're crushing me!" She yelled and blushed at the thought of her and Danny. "Izzy... GET UP OFF ME!"

Izzy sighed. "Alright ALright ... I'll get up... Jeze..... Danny do you want something to eat?"

Lisette got up and rubbed her arm where Izzy's nail had hit her.

Izzy ran out of the room closing the door behind her. "You two get nice and cozy.. I'll be right back."

Daniel didn't know what to expect when Lisette and Izzy landed on top of him. "Umm...Hi..." he said to Lisette quietly so only she could hear.

Once they were finally off him and Izzy had left the room, he sat on the side of his bed. There was a moment of awkward silence, then he noticed Lisette rubbing her arm. "Are you alright?" he asked in his soft, deep voice.

'Damn that voice..' She said in her head still looking at the door.

She turned around and smiled at him. "Izzy just caught me with one of her talons... I should be fine.... It's not bleeding to bad."

Lisette shrugged. "I'm used to it by now..." She smiled at him again.

Izzy went and made some pizza puff things for them. She grinned and shook her head. 'Those two need to be alone for awhile.' She thought.

Daniel laughed softly. "Want a band-aid? I'm sure I have one." he asked her. He rose from the bed, his dark jeans making a little noise, and wandered over to his dresser. Starting to search, he spoke again, a little quiet so that she would have to come closer to hear him. "Was she telling the truth?"

Lisette heard him. She nodded. "Yea... She is." She blushed a deep a scarlet.

"I'm sorry Danny...." She bit her lip and looked at the floor still holding her arm. Her green eyes going down to her shoes.

Her hair went in her face to hide the blush.... Something she did on purpose.

Finding a band-aid, he turned around to see her looking at her shoes. Daniel put his hand on her chin and lifted her head to look at him. "Its alright," he said and moved her hair to behind her ear, so he could see her face. "You're cute when you blush. Here's the band-aid" Daniel put the band-aid in her hand then went back to sit on his bed, where he just watched her.

She put her hand to her cheeks feeling them get hot and grabbed the band aid with the other hand.

Lisette looked at him bit a smiled.

Izzy came bursting scarring Lisette.

"IZZY!!! JEZE!!! Of all the cool ways to die.. A heart attack isn't on my list."

Izzy laughed. "DAMN! and i was hoping I would get to see some straight couple make out session."

"IZZY!"

Izzy laughed and smiled. "You love me... I made pizza roll puff things."

Lisette looked at Danny. "But yea... She is." She winked and walked out of his room.

Daniel acted like he hadn't heard Lisette and went back to reading his book. His mind didn't register the words since his mind was else where. How could she like me? We don't even know each other... His thoughts just seemed to revolve around her now.

Lisette looked at Izzy. "What the hell?"

"What the hell? What the hell?" Izzy looked at her.

"What are you playing at?"

"What... You like my brother..."

"Yea... and..."

"I was trying to hook you two up."

Lisette hit herself in the head. "Izzy... Stop... Please... I can find my own boyfriends thank you."

Izzy looked at her. "That's why you've not had a boyfriend since Dimitri."

Lisette slapped her. "Izzy... Who asked you?" She growled and grabbed one of her books and went to do some homework.

Daniel heard the conflict between his sister and Lisette. Closing the book he wasn't reading, he rose from the bed and put it down. He walked into the hallway just as Lisette walked by him. Walking slowly behind her, he followed her to the kitchen and stood in the doorway.

"So," Daniel said in his calm voice. "Do you want to go out with me sometime?"

Lisette was taking a sip of soda pop when he walked in. Choking as she swallowed she looked at him.

Forgetting herself she started speaking in French. "M'excuser?"

Izzy laughed. "OH WOOHOO!!!! THAT IS PRICELESS!!!!"

Lisette looked at him. Her cheeks brighter than the red in hair. "Oui..." She smiled biting her lip.
