Jovi was silent for a few moments considering the offer, he looked at the bookshelves as he thought. He'd never really seen the point of needing to read really, on the streets he never got his hands on books and store signs though were a bunch of mixed letters to him weren't even attempted to be read because he could tell what sort of shop or restaurant it was by looking in the windows.
He might as well spend some wasted time doing something here though... "I guess.." |
"Not right now, though." Koija sighed, stroking over Amari's shin a bit as she sat there, reading quietly to herself. "We'll have to go get you some learning materials. It will keep you busy on our trip, at least." He added after a moment, watching Jovi still.
"Sit down for a while, Jovi. After I clean up the yard and your clothes are washed, we'll go out for a bit." He wanted to get a few nicer things for Jovi to wear when they had company, though he'd let him wear whatever he'd gathered from his 'home' on the street when it was just them at home, however. Amari knew that she'd have to start the laundry after she had read a chapter. Not as much as she wanted to read, but if they had time, she also knew Master would allow her to read even more later that day. |
